The main creators of Super Smash Bros. Brawl have stated that Sonic is the mostly commonly requested character umongst fans, and not only that, but Nintendo is having discussions with Sega to add on some characters of it's own to the roster. Now hmmmmm, does this somehow mean Ecco the Dolphin will end up in SSBB? I think not, but our favorite blue dude seems to have a very good shot....

It would be cool if you could unlock a chao to play as and transform into different types with the "b" button like Zelda/Shiek.

I heard a further quote stating that a few characters are up for consideration, but only ones who have appeared on a Nintendo heldheld/console are valid choices.
Bomberman and Megaman, maybe? Perhaps Rayman?

Ive known this for awhile now. OUr Fav blue dude probably will make a scene on SSBB, but they havent decided who else, some say sonic and tails why some say sonic and shadow.

Sonic is added to the Character line up in SSBB. But due to this the game is pushed back to Fall 2007.
