The Meeting House. The largest building clearly lies in the center of the village, a long wide affair called the meeting house. This was the first shelter completed, where all the villagers slept as they worked on their own homes. Now, it is used as lodgings for the adventurers who have come, with blankets spread along benches as makeshift beds. At meal times the benches are reclaimed, and pushed along a low table where what little food the village has is served. Henrik spends most of his time here, acting as an adviser to the adventurers and militia, listening to the reports of scouts, and giving commands to be taken to his summon beasts in the field. The summon Mateo is his constant companion, always sitting or pacing by his side. ~----Objectives----~ The Machines around the Fuel Depot Need to be stopped.
Monsters may have interest in the lakeside ruins.
Protect our fields at any cost!
Get the artifact!

"Well, showtime I suppose. Lets get to it." Alan muttered to himself. He grabbed his duffel bag which was resting on a chair and looked around for a room with a door that he could close. He quickly changed into his combat gear.
The skin tight suit went on first, then the cargo pants. He checked his kevlar vest to be sure it still held all his various doo dads before he put that on as well. The belts went on next, one around his waist and the other slanting across his chest. He tied his headband around his forehead to keep his hair out of his eyes. He tugged his boots on, checking the knife in the top of the right boot. He had to rummage around for a minute before he pulled his gloves out of the bag. After the gloves went on he snapped the grappling wristband onto his right arm. Last came the arm gaurds that protected his forearms.
He reemerged into the meeting house's main room from his brief seclusion. He set the bag on the table and pulled out a small device which he set over his left ear. The device had a small screen in the front that went in front of his eye. He then pulled the two submachine guns, loaded and cocked them, then strapped them to his body. The small pistol in the bag went directly into the back of his waistband. "That should do nicely."

Alan grabbed the bag that contained his clothing and stuffed it under the table. He started to jog out towards the doors, then stopped. "Meh, cant hurt." He sait before he turned around and grabbed one of the big shiny red apples from the table that had been left over after the adventurer's planning session. He Jogged out into the village while munching cheerfully on the apple.

"We've done it!"
Henrik looked up to find Hans and one of the village's few mages standing before him, grinning like loons. "Excellent..."
He called in a few messengers to send out to his adventurers, informing them of the new situation.

Horrifically late to the cause and all-around procrastanating, Zen just now getting himself ready to aid the settlers of this fair plain he cracked several parts of his body and made sure he was ready to enter the stage. Henrik, the guy who hired him, was ecstatic about something hopefully it wasn't that the Settlers had already gained control over the island, that would suck for Zen, but it'd be his own fault for sleeping in so late.
Zen wiped out his right-eye and began to approach henrik, "Excuse me Mayor henrik, but do you mind if I ask why you're so happy? Did the Settlers win?" Zen questioned, their was really no point in leaving without discovering anything of importance to his cause.

As Zen learned about the dam and how they planned to blow a hole in it he decided to visit this area, if his assisstance were needed Zen would be nearby to aid the others. He nodded his head to the Mayor and proceeded for the door.

Shade had come to learn about this new plan and knew it was FUBAR'd before it even started. Walking to the door he opened it and planned to step outside. Going invisible again of course before turning the door knob.

Jacknife walked into the meeting house and promptly found a cot. He plopped down on the cot, gear and all. "I need to nap for a bit..." He shifted slightly to remove his guns and drop them on the floor next to himself. Perhaps he would go see the good doctor in the morning, for now he wanted sleep.

Suddenly an invisible hand slapped him across the face, and Shade appeared, towering over him. "No sleep for the dead," He said and pulled the medical kit from his back and set it besides Jack.

Aiolos shuffled quietly into the meeting house, which was a shelter for him and his sister, he went to one of the occupied cots.
His sister was sleeping peacefully, as if a war never happened around here. A grin reached his tired face. He's alive, still alive. Still able to take care of her. But what happens if he dies? Aiolos brushed off the thought, he was alive TONIGHT. That was all that mattered.
He went to Jacknife's cot. The young musican leaned against the wall and slid down to sit.
"It's been a long, been a long, been a long, been a long day...." He said quietly in a sing-along voice.

Zen entered the room and walked over to an empty cot, he plopped down on it and curled up in the sheet as if it were his cocoon.

Aiolos clunks his head on the wooden floor, sleeping peacefuly, snoring loudly.

Mozz appears, covered from head to toe in tattered and torn clothes, green fur, and thorns. Weakly he walks through the door, panting the entire way. Placing a hand on jackknife, he smiles. “it’s good to see you made it friend.” His eyes went to Jackknife’s many wounds. “Here my friend let me help you.”
As Mozz speaks, a line of green fur covers Jackknife’s body, similar in all ways but the spikes to fur covering Mozz. It mends his wounds, and solidifies, draining a little blood in exchange for an extra layer of armored skin. “This should ease your pain, and protect you, but beware fire.”
With that Mozz found a table, and promptly passed out.
