Bleached Overlook Outside the shadowed ruins you will stand atop a cliffside bleached by the sun. The drop is staggering, but then again so is the view. You can see almost the entire way across the plains from here. Still, the safest bet would be to follow the marked trails down to flatter ground. For every dramatic overlook, there's an enemy waiting to push you off. Amend:Obviously being this close to camp, Omikron wasn't taking any chances, then again, it was a good bet that Sunstrike's shield was in effect in at least half of this place. Not to mention a good number of Shades barracaded any easy entrance into the area. If you're coming through, you'd better have a priest. mad

An armored shade led a group onto the bleached overlook. They had a long journey ahead of them.

Along the same path as the Shades took earlier, Stryphe had broken into a steady jog, pacing his companions behind him.
Shouldn't have worn a damn suit... He thought as he ripped his pack off his back and tossed it aside, not giving any care as to it's unimportant contents.
To the Rough Trail.

No reason to slack off, no matter how safe the area. Daniel took the time, while marching, to talk to the shades, explaining hand signals he would make, marching order, the different duties of each shade, which he codenamed Al, Ben, and Con.

Daniel took point, Al second, Ben bringing up the rearguard, and Con in the third slot. Perfect four man fireteam column formation, with Daniel, pistol in hand, scanning the trail ahead, Al and Con the flanks, and Ben the rear.
They were picking it up fast. They might survive this after all, he thought, as they headed to the trail down the mountain.

Sey stared at the breathaking sight of the cliffside with awe and wonder, holding onto Sunstrike a little tighter as he was walking closer and closer to the edge.
"Are... Are we jumping...?" She said with a hesitant voice. Still tired from her barrier casting, Sey clutched onto Sun's shoulders tightly.

And a one...They reached the overpass easily but Sunstrike didn't stop his pace even with the edge rising up.
"Yo, Sey..."
And a two...
"I hope you're okay with heights..."
And THREE!!
Sunstrike slipped the girl from his grasp and chucked her over the edge just as he sprang off himself.
He caught her just in time under the arms to snap his wings open. Carefully he glided his way down to the Plains.

"KIYAHHHHHHHHHH~" Sey yelled. She wasn't scared of heights; she actually enjoyed the weightlessness split second but seeing the expanse of the plains, the ground, the air rushing around her - it was just slightly intense. That and she was CHUCKED over the edge of the cliff. sweatdrop
"Sunstrike... You're crazy." Sey said as she held onto his neck tightly, staring down at the ground with a half smile.
"Crazy, but fun."

The giant rook burst onto the scene, a cloud of dust follwoing it. For a moment it looked back and forth between the two paths...

With a burst of speed the rook took off. It would leap right off the side of the cliffs right onto the plains.
Luckly this was one durable shade.

Walking on Lenne would safely make her way along the path, stopping in her tracks as she came near the edge she would lean forward and look over the edge. Standing back up straight a grin appeared on her face.
"What a amazing view...hmm should be fun."
Turning her head slightly, she would speak to the shades.
"I'm jumping off, you follow the path down and catch up with me on the plains."

With this Lenne turned back and then prepared to jump, as she stood there something started to happen. Black wings would start to grow coming out from between her shoulder blades, when they had finished growing the wings would be ready.
Soon as she was ready Lenne would leap off the edge, as she had started to fall her wings would quickly open up and she would then glide down smoothly to the plains below.
