I'm a SciFi girl... so I always like to check to see if I'm alone in that. ^^
Basically, what TV shows do you like? And then discuss!
My favorites are... Doctor Who (new series), Firefly, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Nightstalker, Navy NCIS, House MD, Monk, Psych, John Doe... and that's about it. I HATE sitcoms.
Anime doesn't count in this thread because I'm going to make another thread to deal with that... It's too big. biggrin

I'm also a sci-fi fan. Current favorite shows: Doctor Who (new series), both Stargates, NCIS, Numbers, and Crocodile Hunter (what can I say... I'm attracted to kooky people.. LOL!). When those aren't on, I flip around to Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and History Channel for something interesting to watch. If all else fails, haul out a sci-fi or romance novel. biggrin

I'm a big fan of ALL Doctor Who, old & new (as you might guess from my sig biggrin ), and generally have the TV on History Channel, National Geographic or Cartoon Network. I can't stand Network TV anymore. I like 1st season Red Dwarf, but I hate it after it gets totally gross & stupid in later seasons. I also loved the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series on Mystery! xd I hardly watch any PBS any more. I miss those great March pledge drives when we would get the latest season of Doctor Who (6th & later 7th Doctors) with the local Whovians manning the phones during the breaks! I'd call in my pledge, say hi to my friends, & they'd be waving sneakily at me in the background during breaks after that! rofl

Stargate SG1, Monk, The Dead Zone.
Good shows.
I just wish USA would quit screwing Dead Zone. It's most likely going to be canceled after this season sad

My stations are usually flipped around in this order when I can't find something on...
SciFi, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network (in hopes of anime), Nickelodian (in hopes of Avatar), USA, TNT, Animal Planet, Discovery, Discovery Health, National Geographic, and if all else fails History Channel.

There is no series that I regularly watch (except for Star Trek), but I like to catch such channels as SciFi channel, Science, History, History international, National geographic, Animal Planet, Travel, House & Garden, and Food. You'd be surprised the interesting stuff on those last three stations. Some of the best Christmas & Halloween specuials are on the Travel Channel.
Of classic old TV, I like best Star Trek, the Twilight Zone, and the Disney Zorro.

I loved the episode with that lady who had the bandages on her face... and she was 'ugly'. And then you see her, and she's beautiful. And it's everyone else who's creepy.

Watched an interesting show this past weekend on USA called "Psych" (think that's how they had it spelled). It was quirky and storylines are fairly good. Only problem is that it's on 10 p.m. Friday nights. Don't know if that's going to interfere with Doctor Who (since SF hasn't set regular time for it yet).
Speaking of DW, a shout to all of us US fans, the premiere of Series 2 on SF will be at 8 - 9:30 p.m. September 29. biggrin

Psych comes on several times each week. Check your TV listings. The next one is the season finale, though.
