You know we are always talking about how great Oblivion is and everything, but is there anything that disappointed you? Or was there anything that was taken out of the previous games that you wished were in this one? Just wondering...
Actually I am completely satisfied with the game, no complaints but maybe you all might have something to say

I'm very satisfied with Oblivion. It's a great game, but not without it's flaws. For one: it lacks the same amount of weapon versitatlity as Morrowind. Also, the end questlines seem to be lacking that luster. But that's about it.

I've never been big on implying things, rather than saying the truth outright. So:
The Main Quest sucked. Too short, too bland, not enough quests, not enough monsters, not enough covert information-gathering missions(which would fit in rather well with Oblivion's general atmosphere), the ending was weak and unspectacular, and not enough information was given on how Martin made the event happen. I understand how he knew what to do, and the same thing that told him what to do could very well be the cause. I suppose that I have some small grasp of what happened, but there wasn't enough information given.

Amen Sormani, you are God!
Seriously though, I agree with Sormani, and the lack of a children leads me to believe that they reproduce by budding.

I hate when you get to the top of a faction, there's nothing else.SPOILERS:
Dark brotherhood: Waste a half an hour in real time to get 200 gold. Yeah, right. At least you can have someone follow you around until they die and take their stuff (I had so much shrouded armor ^_^) Mages guild: Sure, you get the cool chest and an idiot to follow you around, but i accidentally killed mine in battle and had to do the annoying scavenger hunt. Thieves guild: Ok, you get a nice haven, the cowl and a room with respawning lockpicks.. (I had the skeleton key by then so big whoop) Arena: At least you can go back for matches weekly and get gold.

I agree with Sam about the quests....I really wanted more Dark Brotherhood quests since I was getting really really good at secretly killing people...even started a new game just to do them all over again.
Other than that I wish you could use your weapons on horseback, or at least spells/arrows. Having to ride up, get off, watch your horse run away, fight the nasties and then try to track down your horse can get tiresome...

I love the companions that follow you, but they are really hard to get and it would be so great to share your stuff with them, I know you can do it on pc, with a mod, but i have it on 360, so I can't, it also sucks how they are weak, like the apprentice or the murderer, wouldn't it be great to get a fighters guild one? Or a pirate, I really want a pirate one to follow artound my pirate, Captain BuggerNuts.

I agree, main story line was too short. If you get the invisible spell, you can beat the game pretty fast.

What disappointed me most about Oblivion was the guards. At levels 1 and 2, I will admit they can hold their own, yet after such levels they can't even take 3 or 4 Stunted Scamps whereas I can take anything. It doesn't make sense, does it?

No throwing weapons crying Makes it hard to be a ninja ninja also can't wear armor under robes like in morrowind. and no unarmored skill so mages are screwed

My only character is an unarmored thief who fights with his fists and what little magic he knows, two offensive spells.
All it takes is a little more creativity to play as an unarmored character.

Everything. I really hope someone releases a mod that scraps everthing but Oblivions engine, and replaces it with Morrowind. Or better yet, if Bethesda did it, and released it as a free official mod, so the 360ers could have it.

The only gripe I have is no horseback combat. Instead of dismounting and mounting every time theres a battle, wouldn't it be cool to whack em with your sword or shoot a spell or arrow off the back of your horse?
To me, horseback combat would be a great part of gameplay. You wouldn't need to worry about protecting your horse when you dismount to fight.
