I love all the Tortoises, and would love a box or a Desert Tortoise, however...
I LOVE my little guy, Tortuga, and he is a red ear slider.
I don't have a current picture, he is adorable now too, but about 400% bigger than this picture.

snapping, you can feed those little buggers anything and theyll eat it, plus the adults dont taste too too bad lol. Ive gotten so I like haveing a turtle tank or two around.

snapping are illegal to keep in most states though sweatdrop

Must not be here, the local game wardens know we have them, of coarse the turtles are for public display and education.

Slider, I love those 'litle' rednecks. I used to have a female named La Nina, the vicious thing broke my aquarium. We moved her too the pond, but she buried herself under a pot with a fulgrown papyrus and drowned. Very sad. She was very tame, but snappy to strangers.

I have wanted a turtle for a very long time. My neighbor has a red earded slider and those are my fav. then it would have to be a box.

we had 2 turtles at work and someone only bought 1 of them so for a whole week the other turtle just sat in the back corner facing the wall and if we moved him we went back there, poor turtle
