Constant Tchriai Atreides-Piett
Age: 1 1/2 years
Appearance: wolflike puppy with red and tan fur
Special Skills: telepathic bond with Third, can generate red energy wings which are useful for swimming
Third's daemon and constant companion (no pun intended), Constant was born along with Third in the Forgotten Library, from the same book. She resembles a young wolf cub. She has a telepathic bond with Third. Constant is very playful by nature and curious. She loves Third with all her might and would do anything to protect him and the people he holds dear, and that includes Aelinye and Emperial.

Constant is a bit of Valentine, and a lot of Petra. Though she is completely loyal to Third, do not for a moment mistake her faithfulness as submission. Constant is very strong and willful herself, and never hesitates to make her views known to Third. He considers her opinions very important.


Emperial Teal Atreides-Piett
Age: 22 (physically, at least)
Appearance: 5' 1.5", 100 lbs., dark brown hair and blue eyes. Wears glasses. Appearance varies somewhat by instance.
Special Skills: Ex-Creationary Deity, Emperial has limited control over the creation of dimensions. She is a skilled Praetorix. Can be many people in many places at once.
Third's guardian, a somewhat irresponsible young lady who is prone to flights of fancy. Perhaps the only thing she is consistent about is her love for Third. Though she lives with Third, Constant, and Aelinye, she is not a major influence on Aelinye's life, leaving the general care of Aelinye to Third.


Sally Veers
Age: 34
Appearance: Long light brown hair, brown eyes. 1/4 Chinese.
Special Skills: Trained as a medic.
Sally is Third's neighbor, she lives in the third Sunset House with her husband, Max, and daughter Zenobia Madeline. Sally knows Third from the Virginia House. As the mother of a young child, Third looks to Sally for advice on how to raise one.


Minnarkentanit Trant
Age: ~320
Appearance: Grey skin covered in black tattoos, yellow eyes, mottled grey hair. Dresses in white, black, and grey.
Special Skills:
Trant is another of Third's neighbors, he lives across the street and one house down. Trant is a Calym, an alien from the planet Calymur, whose species is renowned for their high pain tolerance and private natures. Trant was exiled from Calym for attempting a military takeover, which goes against Calym beliefs. He has roamed the universe and served as a commander in several armies and navies, of both the space and planetary type. He is a brilliant strategist. He is "mated" to the Lady Admiral. Trant has a strong interest in the cultures, physiology, and habits of other species, and is known for asking very pointed questions that have a tendency to make others uncomfortable. Trant is also known for his perpetual faint humor and seeming benevolence. Nothing seems to sway him. he is always faintly amused by the world around him, even under the worst circumstances. Trant does not believe in any high and lofty principles, only in reality as what is appears to be. He does not believe in gods or afterlifes, which is odd given the company he keeps. Trant has traveled across dimensions extensively. He knows a bit about nearly everything there is to know.


Shizue
Age: ~3
Appearance: Grey skin, three red eyes, white hair. Dresses mostly in red.
Special Skills: Can communicate with ghosts.
Third's other "little sister," though she is technically older than Third. Shizue lives with her adoptive father Doug and Third does not see her very often. She has a special bond with ghosts and can see and communicate with them. She is not very affectionate and rather shy.

Aelinye was found by Third on a random Fourth of July Gaia excursion to buy fireworks. Mostly buried in the dirt, Third rescued her Crystal from its shallow grave and placed it around his neck without any hint or suspicion of what was to come. Enthralled by the twisting thing, he was only enlightened as to its nature some days later while hiking near Barton Cliffs with his guardian, Emperial. Third was drawn to the Medium's cottage, where he and his daemon Constant sought the Medium's counsel and learned the nature of the necklace.

Upon learning there was a baby inside, Third set about securing everything he might need from his neighbor, Sally Veers, herself a mother of a young child. He was soon set up and determined to raise Aelinye under his own terms.
