This isn't a rant, but rather a general discussion topic.
While subs are good, Voice Actors (VA's) are the lifeblood of dubs. So who are some of your favorites, and why?
I'll start.
A personal favorite VA of mine is Greg Ayres (Son Goku of Saiyuki, Mannen on Pretear, among many other things.). I got to hang out with him at Ohayocon last year. It was a blast, and I got to learn some industry insider info that was really humbling. 3nodding

Kirby Morrow. heart
For some reason all of the English voice actor's names have left my brain and the only ones that I can think of that I like are Kirby Morrow and Steven Jay Blum.
Personality wise, I LOVE Johnathan Osbourne. That man is absolutely hilarious.
I've never heard his work though, so I can't state an opinion... But damn, he's love.

I love Steve Blum...does Spike on Cowboy Bebop and that guy from Big O. David Gallagher is also a fav...(Did Riku's voice in Kingdom Hearts)

You're very lucky... I have no chance to do that kind of stuff. I'm stuck at home and hoping my friends kidnap me for AX.

If so, I like Ishida Akira. He voices Chrno from Chrno Crusade, Athrun Zala from both G SEED/ SEED Destiny, as well as Eyes from Spiral.
Another would be seki Tomokazu. He voices Yzak Jule from G SEED/SEED Destiny, Ken from Weiss Kreuz, Touya from CCS, and Van Fanel from Escaflowne Vision of Escaflowne.
Kaida Yuki does Fuji Shusuke from Prince of Tennis, as well as Kurapika from HunterxHunter and Suzuki Aki from Twin Spica.
Minagawa Junko does Echizen Ryoma from Prince of Tennis, Joshoua from Chrno Crusade, and I think I heard her in Loveless.
I bet you were talking about the english dubs >>

Anyway, I met Vic Mogonga and I LOVE him. He plays Edward from FullMetal Alchemist. I hugged him 3 times and I took a phot of him. As well as got his autograph on a coat my friend sent me.
eek I want to meet him again.
And I don't know his last name, but I want to meet Kevin. He plays Furery from FMA as well. sweatdrop I still don't know how he's able to handle all that crack.
And if anyone knows me, I heart the Joshua Seth. Go figure. xd heart

ZOMG! heart domokun That's Lina Inverse in the Slayers OVAs! I love her!...And the VA for Naga, Kelly Manison, now she has that laugh down to a T. Kelly's also the Great Wil of the Machrocasm in Excel Saga... @Lily: I want to meet Vic...Edward's VA. He really does an excellent job in the dub! I also want to meet Al's VA, Aaron Dismuke, just because I think he's an awesome actor, and he's close to my age. whee I do love other VAs too, but I really can't think of them at the moment.
