I wear glasses because my eyes are too close together, I used to read in the dark, I looked at the sun directly for several seconds before, and I play a lot of video games.
Yeah, I know, I have a lot of problems. rolleyes

I'm nearsighted due to genetics, not from squinting at the television screen or books. I use to wear contacts while in high school, but when I started college I became lazy and started wearing glasses again. My glasses look like the ones on my avi, with lime green lining the inside so that everything I look at has a lime green frame. 4laugh

I've worn glasses ever since first grade. I'm nearsighted, just like my mom and dad, although my mom's eyes are so bad that she's legally blind without her glasses on. sweatdrop I tried contacts for a while, but my eyes are too dry. I love my glasses so much. The frames are chrome purple colored! biggrin

I just got glasses a few months ago. They are just like standard emo glasses. BLack square-y frames, and I have a pink lining.
I'm nearsighted, plus, 90% of my entire family wears glasses sweatdrop

I've been wearing glasses since first grade. I use contacts when I go out with friends, but I love my "nerdy" glasses to death :3
All of my family has bad eyesight, but my doctor has said that the reason my eyesight is so bad now is because I can't seem to stop playing video games. I do not have problems D; It's not an obsession!!! It's a very intense hobby :3 I should put that in my sig. "It's not an obsession, just a very intense hobby."

Oddly enough, even though I play games and draw little pixel dolls on the comp, my eyes don't get any worse. I love it, but that doesn't make it any less odd. 3nodding

I don't play videogames that often (my dad doesn't like me playing them) and I have to share with my sister so I don't think playing videogames has changed my eyesight. My eyes aren't all that bad, either. I'm am only slightly short-sighted. 3nodding

I got glasses in 5th grade. My whole family has eye sight issues so I'm not the odd one out or anything. I got contacts last summer because I wanted them for High School. Now I wear my contacts all the time. Putting them in and taking them out has just become my every day routine like brushing my teeth and stuff.

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses. I also read in the dark and looked at the sun a few too many times. But, I can say that my eyesight has worsened considerably since I started playing MMOs. Not so much console games, as the light rays from the TV aren't as violent as the ones from my laptop.
