being the die-hard fan that i am, i have to go with kingdom hearts..... never played ff..... i did see advent children, but thats it

I have to go with Final Fantasy despite my absolute love of Kingdom Hearts. Maybe it's because I haven't played KH II yet, but then again, I've only played FFX. But I also know a bunch about FFVII, a little about FVIII, and all about FFX-2.
Here's the thing, Final Fantasy have 11 (going on 12) games, as well as games like Crystal Chroncles. And from what I've gathered, most of them are completely awesome games. There's only two Kindgom Hearts. You can do the math.
I'm sorry Kingdom Hearts! I still heart you!

I have to go with Final Fantsay because well Kindom Hearts has final fantsay stuff in it making it seem less origan. Not that I have ever played it sweatdrop

well, kingdom hearts has some final fantasy characters in it... but i shall go with final fantasy because im not crazy about the whole disney thing in kingdom hearts, final fantasy has some great characters and great graphics.

I haven't played either of them but I want to play Final Fantasy. 3nodding I've wanted to play it for years now.

I love both of them oh so much. I think Final Fantasy is better because there are (X-2 as an exception)no sequels. Every game is new. You never know what to expect with the next one. Kingdom Hearts is improving with graphics, but Final Fantasy has excellent graphics.

Hmmmm, I don't like the battle style in Final Fantasy ( I've only played #7 so maybe it changed later on) but the storylines rock!
Kingdom Hearts................I love how you fight, and the storline is good. And I can enjoy seeing my fave Final Fantasy characters while I'm playing. Even though there is alot of Final Fantasy games, I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts.
But I still like Final Fantasy!
And I have yet to play Kingdom Hearts II

If Final Fantasy had never been created, there would be no Kingdom Hearts.
Personally, I wouldn't even place the series' anywhere near each other on the spectrum of awesomeness. Final Fantasy is up there at the top, while for me Kingdom Hearts would be somewhere on the mediocre line. But, I didn't like the game, so. I'm a little biased. I've only played one FF game that I didn't like, and that was X-2.
I agree about the battle system, to a point. They do get tedious, taking a lot of time..but that's what you're supposed to do in an RPG. Take time.

Final Fantasy is more original then kingdom hearts. It's been out for along time with lots of successful games so has kingdom hearts but Final Fantasy is more of my style when it comes to rpg's and I like the whole storyline better. I'm a Kingdom hearts fan but i love FF better.
