Ever since learning the third eye trick long ago, I had a question in my mind. If you can use psionics to create another eye- why not another arm or leg? Sure it wouldn't be a physical arm or leg, but it would still serve some purpose. However I noticed one annoying fact- Whenever I attempted to create a body part from energy, I simply couldn't maintain it for more than about 10-20 seconds before I lost concentration and it melted away. It's hard to keep up with every curve, shape, detail, and motion of an entire psi-arm confused
Well recently I read LoBo's post in the self help sub-forum about Reiki. In the past I've done a bit of studying into Reiki, but I never actually attempted it. Upon questioning him as to its power (the question is still there if you want to see the thread xd ) he explained that even making a psiball was easier when he had attuned himself to Reiki. Quite curious- I went through his attunement process.
As I went through the attunement I began to feel some odd little things that I assume are normal and made me quite confident I wasn't screwing up xd For instance- at the part where you imagine your body filling up with light I could actually feel it flowing into my body and I felt lighter and more complete 3nodding It's really a great feeling ^^ *cough* Getting off subject xd
Well, a little while after going through the process, I had a question that needed instant answer. Can I make a psi-limb if I use Reiki? I tried. I figured that an arm or leg would be too generic, though. I wanted something fun. So, using Reiki, I gave myself a pair of wings. I actually put alot of effort into the technique to be sure I didn't mess up. I did a full meditation, gathered as much energy as possible, and did the trick slowly. The weirdest thing is that as I created the psi-wings it actually felt like there were real wings coming out. I could feel the wings pressing against my back- a bit painfully- and I could feel them slowly stretching out for the first time.
Then, when I was finished, I paused. I was amazed. Not only had I just created another body part with psi- but I could actually feel it (btw- wings feel funny xd ). It was extremely awkward attempting to flap my wings, but I'll get that down eventually xd I'll admit that I've yet to discover a use for these psi-limbs, however the simple fact that using Reiki one can create limbs from psi, and the added discovery that they're powerful enough to be felt, is an amazing discovery in itself wink Sure they aren't visible to normal eyes (though a person who can naturally see auras or one doing the third eye technique could probably see them) and sure they can't come into physical contact with things, but they're awesome whee I'll work on finding a use for my wings when I stop being so damn amazed that I have wings xd

Kudos. ^ ^ Wings are indeed fun. Although beware of wingspots, the points where they connect to your back. ^ ^() I dont know if they will be the same, because they are psi, but people I have met with wings, well, pressing a wingspot gives the kind of feelings they called in the 50s morally degenerate. xd

Some people call them honey spots. It isn't as always strong as some people think. I used to form wings with psi then have my friend give me a backrub. It always helped me to just relax.

sad I'm sad to say that I seem to have slept my wings off over night. I awoke and I couldn't feel them anymore. I suppose they must be re-cast each day. However I wouldn't be surprised if there are any effects caused by pressing on the wingspots, as I could entirely feel the wings confused I felt where they pressed against my back and I felt the odd stretched feeling they had where they angled downward.... Really it's too hard to describe the feeling. Just give yourself wings and feel for yourself confused
And I'll begin work on finding a use for wings in the near future whee

Oh, yes... wings can be used as shields, just draw them around yourself tightly. You also might be able to get some interesting psi effects using the wings to project energy. Otherwise, I don't know... fly? ^ ^()

confused Sad to say- having Reiki wings doesn't make me an angel. I lack flight, I lack the ability to enter and exit heaven as I please, and I lack the ability of ultimate destruction.... But I have wings! whee
And I learned that they do in fact work as a most magnificent shield 3nodding Not only that- but I noticed something odd and awesome surprised Energy that I blocked with my wing-shield didn't simply get deflected or absorbed like most shields do.... it vanished eek Any energy that attacked the wing shield was just.... gone. I don't understand it at all and I want to do alot more research on it before I continue to use it as a shield for fear of destroying our world's precious energy ninja Does the energy go somewhere else? Or does it dissolve so quickly I can't notice it? Or does it really vanish? eek

What if I practice for years and years and learn to use these wings to teleport? xd That'd be AWESOME whee

It's very similar to the third eye trick 3nodding You start by gathering as much energy as possible in the nearest chakra (Chakras are the energy pools in your body. There are seven of them 3nodding The nearest one to the wing-spots would be the chest.) When I made my wings I actually gathered so much energy that my chest began to hurt somewhat. You then compress this energy tightly and push it to the surface of the skin. Now you pretty much use the energy like play-doh and mold whatever body-part it is that you want. I very slowly crafted my wings, starting by simply creating lumps on the skin, then extending them, then a joint formed in them, then feathers grew out... The weirdest thing is that I didn't have to make it all up as I went. The majority of growing the wings sort of... happened on it's own confused All I did was supply the energy and the wings seemed to know exactly the shape they were going to fall into and exactly where the energy needed to go. Once you've made two good-shaped wings, create a "cap" of energy (an energy shield) to place on the surface of your skin and prevent these wings from being re-absorbed into your body. Now flex them out good and enjoy the amazing sensation of wings biggrin
