I will make my own second season to prove that point if I must. I think that the person who created Lucy would had to have loved her to much to kill her, just wouldnt make sense!

I think Lucy's dead, but not Nyuu. Well, 'dead' wouldn't be the word, I'd say more like, 'gone for the time being'. I think that the stranger who arrived at Kouta's house is Nyuu and that she will only become Lucy if something bad happens to Kouta. Ah love, how cute >D

Probably not. If she really died, you wouldn't have seen the sillouhette at the end. There would have been a more nostalgistic feel.
Although, she had long hair. So meh. That could represent time, eh?
As for Nyu coming back, I don't think so. Lucy was Lucy, not Nyu. Nyu was Lucy in hiding. When she confronted Kouta, that mentality dissapeared.
So confusssssing XD

it was lucy standing outside the door to the maple inn...she used her vectors to make the clock work and as we all know nyuu cant use vectors.

@.@ The Manga is in more depth rather than the anime. Hence, they talk more, have more about the pasts. Some of the characters that DON'T have a large role in the anime HAVE large role in the manga...there's a few crucial moments which is sad... X________X Tehehehehehhh..

Who was the shadow on the other side of the door? Why did Kazukaa say "this is only the beginning" why did symbolically Nyuu's horns knocked off? Its all pointing to a "yes" lucy is still alive.Is she as bloodthirsty as she always was? Probably not...
