Not only is it manga, but a live action movie as well as an anime now!

Nana is a manga that is making a difference and influencing people! For better or worse who knows?

I've read Nana
I've only read up to volume 3, but its a cute little series
I know its going to be longer than Paradise Kiss, which makes me happy 3nodding
Paradise Kiss was a great series, but it seemed kinda short to me

the story is very original and down to earth, which I think Ai Yazawa does a good job of
the art is nice, decent, and relatively clean (it may not be proportional, but its original so it makes up for it)
The story isnt very cliche either--bonus points exclaim

I would give it a 9 out of 10
highly suggested to anyone who enjoys somewhat sappy and "slice-of-life" stories

I LOVE NANA! it is such a good series! heart they are soooo cute together.... does anyone know if the author is going to make it a yuri....?

yeah but the sex could be btw the nana's and their respective "boyfriends"...... b/c i know each nana has sex w/ their "partners"...............

Technically, it's shoujo. Still, I found it interesting.

I first read it in Japan, actually. I was staying at a hostel in Kyoto and they had somewhere above twelve volumes of NANA there. My friend recommended it so I took a look at it. It's quite good. I've only read through one in English here, but I'm looking to add the next ones to my rapidly expanding manga collection.

It's a realistic, good story. I like it. I wouldn't say it's the best I've read, but it's pretty good. I like the art style too... very pretty, to say the least. mrgreen

I can't remember how many volumes I've read of Nana now (somewhere in the 10's), but I loved it. All the characters were very likeable (except maybe Hachi's first boyfriend...). I especially loved Shin...Shin... heart

So yeah, I'm very glad that I read it.
