What is the point...I've noticed something, especially in the GCD. People have started using post ends, with some quote in front that continues at the end. When did this happen? o_o ... In having post ends?

It's the new trend. Haven't you noticed that all the cool people do it, and in order to be cool, you have to have obnoxious things decorating your post?

gonk I hate those, despite the fact that I don't really pay much attention to what the stereotypical Gaian defines as "cool".
Gaia's supposed to have diversity, not everyone following only one Gaian's lifestyle. I've seen lots of things on Gaia that people think are "cool" and "popular" and "driving the 'uncool' Gaians insane".
I used to want to be "popular" just so I could have more friends and be sort of like a celebrity both on Gaia and in real life, but it never really worked, and I wasn't happy just pretending to be a "cool" person, so I eventually stopped trying to be cool and just acted like myself, and now I think I have a lot more friends than when I was pretending to be "cool". 3nodding
*Sigh* If only everyone could realize that they don't need to be popular in order to have friends, but just be themselves around everyone. I'm sure Gaia and the non-pixelated world would both be better and more fun places to be.

xP Meh, I don't really mind it. It can, of course, get out of hand. I don't like it if it makes the post hard to read, if it's a blatant advertisement for something or if there are biiig images. @_@; Some customizations can be cute, though. x3

I don't like it when people put crap around their posts that's not needed... like guild and quest advertisements, post ends, friends lists, etc.
