Name: Shiromaru Gender: Male Gaia Arrival Date: A hundred IC years ago Marital Status: Married (to Trio) Height: 5'8" Weight: Slender Hair: Dark blue Eyes: Gold Distinguishing Marks: A scar that starts on his left cheek and goes across the bridge of his nose and his right eye and ends at his right temple. Other: Shiromaru is a water demon, and sports horns and (sometimes) wings. Personality: Formerly rather quiet, depressed and reserved, Shiro has recently discovered a wonderful reason to let out the effervescent, warm, outgoing personality he'd kept locked within. He loves people, loves music and loves the water. History: Even Shiro himself doesn't quite know his full history, where he was born, or even his real name or who his parents were. Somewhere between the age of twenty-five and fifty, he lost his memory in an accident, and woke up in a flat, black land. He was found when he was still confused and frightened and taken to the demon realm, where he lived for fifty years. He escaped there and fled when he could to Gaia, where he has lived for the past century.
Name: Trio Maxwell-Chang Gender: Female D.O.B.: Unknown Species: Human Equipment: angelic sash, gift bracelet from Teralinth dKalin, shining locket necklace Relationship Status: Married (to Shiromaru)
Personality: Trio is usually cheerful and exciteable, and adores opening her home to new friends. She does have her darker moments, though she generally prefers to have them in private, disliking showing such things to others. Trio depends on the others in her household to help her out, and most of them do. Many of her companions look out for each other, although the occasional disagreements have sometimes resulted in rather strong tension.
Notes: She has many Gaians she cares for, but few ever penetrate far enough into her defenses to be truly and fully trusted. Even her closest friends do not know the full story of her past, and none have met her family, though it's obvious that she adores her fathers.

 Name: Zi Zhi ('Beautiful Orchid')
Gender: Female
Abilities: Zi Zhi does not have much in the way of magical abilities. She possesses the uncanny ability to find the perfect leaves for tea, can create small orbs of light that float around her at will, and can, unknowingly at first (and, naturally, only with the permission/request of the players), suppress the memory of one or two events that a person wants to forget. But unlike the total amnesia that her teas could produce before, Zi Zhi can only send the memories to the person's subconcious. It is never truly gone, and can be brought forward again under the right circumstances.
But there are problems that come with forgetting things, and consequences that Zi Zhi can't even begin to imagine...
Species/Element: Human. (Goddess.) ...Does 'tea' count as an element? XD
Information on their previous life: Lady Meng-Po, the Lady of Forgetfulness, is the goddess that stands at the exit of the ninth level of Feng Du, the Chinese realm of the dead. She is the one who creates and administers the Five-Flavored Tea of Forgetfulness to souls before they pass into the tenth level and are allowed to reincarnate, their memories of their lives completely erased.
And now I start to make things up.
Lady Meng-Po was a very quiet young woman, unassuming, studious and dutiful, proud of her ability and her station in life. Without fail, she made her teas and sent souls on to their new lives, all the while without asking for anything for herself. And then she made a grave mistake -- she fell in love with the August Personage of Jade.
Now, normally this wouldn't be such a bad thing -- there were several goddesses who had feelings for the Jade Emperor, and not all of those goddesses were single, surely. The problem was the fact that Meng-Po, unassuming little thing that she was, actually screwed up the courage to go tell him.
When rumors reached those around the Jade Emperor, several of the August Personage's attendants put themselves between Meng-Po and the door to the Jade Emperor's audience chamber, surrounded her, and proceeded to fling upon her insult after insult. Heartbroken, crushed, humiliated, Lady Meng-Po fled from the attendants and retreated to her station at Feng Du. When she stumbled upon a cup of her own Tea of Forgetfulness, the escape from her situation seemed to present itself most handily. Nevermind that she had not been the one to put the teacup there -- it was there, and it was the perfect answer, the perfect escape from an eternal future of ridicule and heartache.
It was only in the instant after swallowing the tea and before her memory washed away and she was sent on to her new life that she had the overwhelmingly terrifying sensation that something had gone very wrong.
Personality from baby to adult: Daydreamer, forgetful, mental drifter... ...At first glance, this girl is the living embodiment of ADD. Not in the sense of hyperactivity; no, Zi Zhi is a dreamer, somewhat flighty, and prone to forgetting everything, from important dates to names to faces. "...What's your name, again?" will be one of the most common questions out of her mouth. It's not that she's stupid, it's just that nothing seems to stick, and though she knows she should remember, the information is just gone. Physical memory -- such as dancing, writing, and the like -- do not seem to have as much of a problem sticking with her. As a child, she is reserved and rather shy, though quite curious about plants, especially teas. By the time she's a teenager, there's an edge of bitterness underlying everything she does, however; she's aware of her memory issues, and keenly aware of how she is forced to keep herself apart for fear of looking like an idiot. Which, to her eyes, she does anyway. When she learns the truth is when things will really start to change for her; her memory will start to fix itself, and though she'll never be the most on-the-ball of people (unless she learns the wonders of a dayplanner), perhaps at this point she'll start to be able to lead something approaching a normal life.
Hair and eye colors: Her hair is a dark purple, almost black; her eyes are a lighter purple.
General physical description From Wand-Adult: Her wand is simple and wooden, with a tea infuser ball attached to the end. As an infant, she wears a simple robe and pants. From toddler-age to youth, Zi Zhi wears modern variations on hanfu; by the time she is an adult, however, she wears traditional hanfu. She does not cut her hair, merely having it trimmed from time to time.
Distinctive Marks: None.
General likes and dislikes: Likes: the colors yellow, purple and green; any and all teas; chinese dragons; music by Jay Chou; good books that stick in her mind, rare though they may be. Dislikes: jade (it makes her quite uncomfortable); soda; crowds; loud areas; being teased for her memory problems.
Hobbies: Practicing tea ceremonies, escaping into books and fantasies, and -- perhaps oddly -- climbing any and all trees she can manage to get up into. There is a part of her that still longs to return to the world she'd forcibly taken herself from.
