I don't know about you, but regardless of what game I play, I would like a variety of things. Like in RPG's I would like a variety of creatures, items, and/or spells. In FPS games, I would like a variety of Guns, not just 7 or 9, I mean like 50+ (Like in Perfect Dark for N64). And how about flight sims, I don't just want to play only 3 planes, how about like 50+ planes. (Leer jets, Silver bullet, Boeing 747, Red Baron, etc.)
What about you, I am all about variety, not just mock ups or color swaps of a previous monster.

Personally, it depends: In a game like dynasty warriors, I don't need variety. But in a game like Burnout Legends, racing over...and over...and over...would surely get boring after a while. That's what Crash mode is for. biggrin biggrin

I'll not lie...If the game has no variety I stop to play it quickly... I think there isn't variety don't catch the players atention... some games even with the variety you stop to play easily... so if there's no variety and a certain quality the game doesn't work.

Variety is always great. As long as there is something to do in a game I will continue to play the game.

Well, I dunno...variety can be a good thing, but there is a such thing as too much variety. Take Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, for example. I LOVE that game. It's one of my most favorite games of all time. 3nodding However, there's simply too much that you can do at any one point after you get so far into the game, and somethings will keep you so busy and entertained that you may lose sight of what you wanted to do in the first place. Case in point, the Runic Chess game got me so caught up once that I forgot why I even decided to come to Gemity int he first place. xd
