Day # 001 Theme: tavern Time spent: 44 minutes traditional + 7 minutes color correction  Comments: The location where Henry's ancestor committed the murder that set off the curse that affects Ruse, Kevin and Astra in the present day. It may not exist if one believes that Henry is actually insane/an unreliable narrator. But if you like to believe in magic and curses, then it certainly can exist in-universe lol (all these characters are ocs) I may correct everything someday.

Day # 002 Theme: horrified Time spent: 18 minutes traditional + 15 minutes digital editing  Comments: Under The Same Stars, Chapter Seven: The Devil - So he set his martini aside on the edge of the tub. “Excuse me, ladies,” he said to his two hot tub friends. Then he stood up to get out, which revealed, to the horror of Ruse and Astra, that he was stark naked. The two girls edged back out of the room into the area behind the bar.

If she's wearing a big ugly lolita dress, it's Ruse. I originally wanted to draw her in Christmas lolita fashion but I took more of a cottagecore fawn aesthetic for this theme. :'>

Day # 013 Theme: Denmark Time spent: 30 minutes(I started at like 12:05am)  Comments: Is Ruse again. I collected probably 6-10 random images of traditional Danish clothing and threw together an outfit for her. Then the braids. Then the daisies, national flower of Denmark. Swans are the national bird. The basket has rugbrød and Heering in it, which are Danish rye bread and Danish cherry liqueur.
I'm gonna have so much art of Ruse in different dresses after this event ends ;u;
