Welcome to the breeding permissions thread. In an effort to keep better track of couples in the shop, we've decided to implement this thread. It will be a requirement of all breeding couples now, unless there is only one owner of both pets. I urge everyone to read everything over carefully before you post. Thank you!

This is mostly to stop headaches and problems from happening. In the past there have been issues between owners where one disappears from Gaia for quite some time and is upset when they return to find out their pet has won a breeding and they were not informed or had no say in what happened to the kids. Please understand this is a way to try and protect you, your pets, staff and anyone else involved.

A few things to keep in mind...

• Please be aware and follow all the current breeding rules.
  
• If you own both parents, you don't have to post here UNLESS they are soulbonded
  
• Owner A is only required to post, while owner B quotes and agrees.
  with someone else until the breeding(s) is/are won/obtained =or= you nullify it
  
• Please use full pet names and preferably cert links. If you do not yet have a cert for your phox, simply link to your cert request!
  
• We will NOT be keeping a list of temporary permissions. You need to keep track of your link and post it with the breeding forms.
  
• Staff will, however, be checking to make sure both owners have posted/quoted their agreement.

If your phox has found the great love of their life or you've decided to pair a couple of phoxes up, permanently, it might be wise to create a Soulbond between them!

Soulbonding Rules

• They are eligible for entry in any 'Soulbound' category of breeding events
  
• Soulbound phoxes will always produce 3 bowls! See the breeding info thread for more information!
  
• They are considered to always be open permission to be entered by either owner in breeding raffles/bribes/events
  
• May not breed outside the Soulbond. Those who breed outside of the Soulbond will have the Soulbond broken immediately.
  
• Soulbound phoxes CANNOT enter Mixers.
  
• Soulbound phoxes CANNOT enter for 'rogue' breedings.
  
• Owners must be informed when a Soulbond is broken. We expect people to be able to communicate with their breeding partners in a reasonable manner.
  
• Breaking a Soulbond will result in your character being unable to breed or even make agreements for 6 months. This is to avoid any attempts to use this system incorrectly/unfairly. Consider your Soulbonds carefully.
  
• While players may freely add to Poly Groups, any removal of individuals from a poly group will cause the entire group to go on the 6-month cooldown.
  
  A phox must be on adult lines to breed or make agreements!

Only one partner need post the code. All other owners need to quote the original post to agree, otherwise it will not count.
