Beatrix shook her head a bit as she arrived with Meissa in front of the door to an office. It was the first time she’d pulled someone along with her on a teleport but it looked like everything had gone alright. Pulling her hand out of the bluenette’s chest, she looked them over. It was quiet in the hallways and she pulled Meissa back from the door a few feet as she tried to get herself ready to play a part. It had to go well and she had to watch her mouth; couldn’t have any trouble from the get go if she could manage it. Taking a breath she nodded, mostly to herself, before she started to speak. “So behind that door is one of the bosses, they’re not as chill as my direct boss so I would say be careful with what you say and do. It’ll be fine just a quick thing I think then off we go and I can help you figure stuff out?” At least that’s what she assumed, she’d never really seen anything on how bringing someone over worked and it had been so long ago when she’d joined that she couldn’t really remember how it’d gone. She still had a hand on their wrist but not as tightly since there wasn’t a way to leave easily. It’d been a pain to navigate down here for her even now but for someone who had never been it would be even worse. “Also uh… if you need to puke let me know? I heard that it’s a bit rough teleporting if you’re not used to it.” There was still a bit of nervousness about her as she spoke, the door looming as she wondered if Hessonite could hear her through it. She wasn’t particularly scared of them; more so that she didn’t want to disappoint anyone here and she was never really sure on the details since she skipped a lot of the information when she could get away with it.

Meissa was too busy trying to get control over her breathing to even notice that the hand that had been gripping her starseed had been removed. She hunched over even as she felt herself being tugged away from being in front of a door before she cast a glare up in Beatrix’s direction before she yanked her wrist free from the loosened grip that the corrupt senshi had had on it. Even as she regained that little piece of freedom to have her own personal space bubble re-established did she finally comprehend what it was that Beatrix was telling her. The pain that she was still feeling from the pervasiveness of having someone’s hand in their chest was not an easy thing to get over. Especially since it was becoming a common occurrence between her and Beatrix. She swallowed on reflex in order to at least shake off the unpleasant sensation before it dawned on her exactly where she was.
It had taken a few minutes for the oppressive aura of the space in which she now found herself to truly sink into her magical senses. Her eyes widened as reality snapped into place before she cast a frightened look at the corridor that stretched out in either direction before she felt her stomach lurch.
“Can’t promise not to puke. Best idea: don't talk about puking unless you want to see it happen.”
While she could at least try to not have her stomach rebel it was a near close call for it having to happen. She was telling the truth to Beatrix when she mentioned not talking about it. What really was bothering her though was everything that made her an Order senshi was screaming at her to run away as fast as she could. The logical portion of her brain was telling her that she wouldn’t get very far before she would be dragged back right to where she was standing now. She wasn’t going to make any promises to Beatrix for how she could possibly react and instead settled for crossing her arms in a manner that spoke of one who was extremely bored … or was it extremely irritated before simply arching an eyebrow at the corrupt as if to say, “what are you waiting for?”

Beatrix pulled her hand back as they broke free but didn't do anything to try grabbing them again since Meissa wasn't running. "Noted, no speaking stuff into existence. I can vibe with that since I think there's like a magic maid here now and I don't want to have her mad at me already." There'd been signs of spots cleaner than before but she'd never seen the source of the newfound cleanliness and organization. Taking another breath she rubbed at the scratches on her face as she mentally prepared to watch her own mouth. It would be like how she was around the cat that came to promote her with Chrysocolla but with one of the sovereigns who'd allowed for her to be promoted. Tidying her tattered uniform, which didn't really do much, she then turned back to the door and knocked. "General Queen Hessonite, I have someone who is looking to join us." She spoke properly and maybe a bit too stiff compared to how she normally was but it always worked out when she met with the higher-ups. She knew her place here and was comfortable so she needed to make sure she didn't mess this all up. A fleeting thought passed through her mind as she waited for a response. God I need to read the procedure after this...

Meissa had, by all accounts, regained enough of her focus to watch as Beatrix moved to pass her in order to knock on the rather imposing door. Having been told to mind her actions and words around whomever was inside that office Meissa took that into account. That left one person that she could at least vent upon in the meantime, the one who had brought her here.
Turning around to look down the corridor one last time Meissa gave the softest sound of exasperation before she stomped over to Beatrix. Her voice was quiet as she hissed at the other woman, "pretty sure my coming up with some sort of planned backup lays waste to your pretty theory that I still want to join this place," a shiver ran through her and she gave a huffing sound before continuing. "Only reason I tried to delay things as long as I could was to come up with some alternative plan in which I would have put an end to your little stunts, like the one I once interrupted."
Meissa fell silent. She had said what she needed to get off her chest before things were all said and done. Even as she stood there, full of forced bravado, did the small inkling of doubt creep in that maybe, years back, this could have been the end result of her period of time that she had been missing. She'd been found before, but now, it didn't look like anyone would be able to find her.

It was too late to escape. Hessonite didn’t have to rush to open the door because even if this someone decided to change their mind about joining, there was nowhere to run. Hessonite didn’t rush to open the door but neither did she drag her feet. She opened the door with gusto and elegance. Hessonite had an imposing aura that didn’t quite seem fitting of the woman in front of them at first glance. Her face was relaxed and she had a pretty smile, but behind that–well hidden like daggers in the shadows–was a fierceness in her eyes. There was an unplaceable danger about her that existed even beyond her aura. Somehow, she managed to hide it with a kinder smile. “Come in, come in.” She had a friendly tone, and swept her arm to invite them into her office. “I wasn’t expecting company, you’ve caught me redecorating.” She’d been deep cleaning; the room smelled fresh and new, but there were empty shelves and barren walls. Boxes were full of picture frames and mementos, but it was too difficult to see anything clearly. They weren’t really the focus of this meeting and she wasn’t really apologetic about the state of her office. “Beatrix, right? And your friend is…?” She eyed Meissa briefly, but even in that single glance it was as if she’d sized her up in just a second.

Beatrix straightened as the door swung open. Even if Hessonite was smiling, she knew that things could change depending on if they'd heard what Meissa had said. It stung but in the end, things were still the same so even if it had been a lie, she was still bringing someone in, and she was still going to help them get started in the Negaverse. Glancing over her shoulder at Meissa, she nodded and then stepped into the office after pulling her mask down the rest of the way. The scratches still stung but it wasn't too bad. "I apologize for interrupting General Queen, I was intending to contact you about this ahead of time but there were some complications." Gritting her teeth a bit, she really didn't like that the mauvian had orchids on them but there wasn't enough to go on to directly connect the cat to that princess and she didn't want to mess up information. It was odd to see the office in a state of... well... messiness? It looked like her place had just a few weeks back while she was moving but her wandering eyes focused back on Hessonite as they said her name and she went back to attention. "Yes, I'm Beatrix, under Chrysocolla and this is Meissa." Looking back towards the senshi she'd brought here, she knew not to motion for them to come along but hoped they would so things weren't messy.

The last thing in the world that Meissa wanted to do was walk through that door. The chaotic aura in this underworld kingdom was setting her nerves on edge. It wasn't natural for a place to be so saturated with negative energy, was it? Knowing what awaited her once she crossed over that threshold Meissa dallied for a second longer before she straightened her posture. The fact that it almost seemed like she was slowly walking towards an execution of sorts flashed through her brain. All the people that she had known would cease to know her, short of a list as it was, and there would be no going back to what she had known.
Closing her eyes to her current surrounding and mentally whispering goodbye to those that she had loved did the bluenette sense that she was simply delaying the inevitable. Steeling herself for what would be happening within the next few minutes did Meissa pass through the doorway and into the office of this "General Queen" ... had she heard Beatrix correctly on the name of Hessonite?
With all the bravado that she could muster Meissa shot one last glare at Beatrix, before noting with glee the scratches that Illyria had landed, before she turned her gaze to the woman who she'd just been introduced to. How did one follow-up that? Was she supposed to bow or salute or something along those lines? Figuring out things like that would become important if she wished to thrive here afterwards. Clearing her throat did Meissa take a moment to choose her words. Instead of the polite response she was hoping for Meissa's brain jumped on the one aspect of the conversation that might've given her an out of this whole debacle, "As Beatrix said, I am Meissa ... but if this is a bad time, and you weren't expecting company, I can make myself scarce."

Hessonite observed the scratches with what seemed to be no reaction, but she’d have been a poor General Queen if she was such an open book. “No, no. It’s not a bad time.” She smiled sweetly, but even in the kindness there was a sharpness behind her eyes. “Just because I wasn’t expecting company doesn’t mean I don’t welcome it. Do you want to tell me about these complications or should we get right into business?” A stack of boxes were sitting in a chair she’d pushed to the wall, but she moved them to the ground and pushed the chair into the center of the room. Her eyes met Meissa’s and she gestured for her to take a seat. It was polite, but it was more a command than a request.

Beatrix nodded and decided on what could be said that was at least verifiable. “A mauvian with… a senshi form? I’d never seen one so I was surprised.” Anything else was up in the air but she knew they’d used magic and thinking about it made her nose itch. “We can get back to business though, I don’t want to take up much of your time.” She wanted to get moving, get things figured out and see what Meissa would be like after things were done. She’d read that corrupting could be harsh but she’d never met anyone that hadn’t started on this side of things. It was all she knew and she was fine with that, it treated her well and she kept chugging along and working hard for them. ‘You’ll be fine, Meissa.” Smiling along as she spoke even if there was a bit of unease about her. The things the mauvian had said hurt but she knew it was who she was and she wouldn’t change it for anything. The Negaverse was her home, had taken her in and now she was going to make sure things went smoothly after this for Meissa after she became a part of it too.

It didn't seem like her suggestion to make herself scarce went noticed. The super senshi internally scoffed at the situation as it was unfolding. The owner of this office, Hessonite, rearranged a little bit of furniture, moving things here and there. The sight of a lone chair that had been moved to the middle of the room gave the bluenette pause. Damn it, she thought, it's like my own personal gallows. Should have run no matter the consequences. Too late for that now, I guess.
Thinking of the chair as some sort of gallows wasn't morbid at all in her mind. For if she sat down, as she had been bidden to do, then there was a part of her that would certainly perish. There would be no going back to who she had been up to this moment. Meissa spared one last glance at the door before settling on the decision to once more shoot a glare at Beatrix as the eternal went to describe what complications there had been in bringing her here. There was no way that she would help to do anything that would put Illyria in any further danger. If Beatrix wasn't sure what she had witnessed than Meissa was not going to offer any hints. Still acting out in a little bit of defiance did Meissa move from her position to slowly circle the chair before she sat down.
"Are you sure absolutely sure of that," she queried of the corrupt eternal before she turned her gaze to Hessonite, "can you guarantee that everything will be fine?"

Hessonite was observant. She saw the way Meissa eyed the door. Hessonite could have teleported to it well before the spoor Senshi even got close. The General Queen was not smug, just satisfied. “I suppose that depends on your definition of ‘fine’.” There was no point in dramatics. Hessonite pushed a few things around on her desk before she faced the two and hopped up on it. She planted her palms on the desk and crossed her legs as she looked down at the seated Senshi. “I think it would be callous to lie to you right now when you’ve already come so far. You’re not stupid and I’m not going to treat you like you are. I can guarantee you a lot of things, but I don’t think we’re on the same page yet. But we can be, if you’re willing to open up. Beatrix already brought you here, so let’s just take a minute to enjoy the company. Things I can guarantee you? You’ll be fine here, with me. I know what I’m doing, this is totally safe. It’s like getting a shot. Hurts for a second, then you’re all better. Will everything be fine once you leave this room? Probably. Except it depends on you, and what you’re going to do. Like everything in life, you’re at the helm. I can play navigator, we can help guide you, but if you want to guarantee that everything will be fine, you’ve gotta be dedicated to making things fine. So before I stick my hand in your chest and free you from the White Moon, why don’t you tell me what you want out of this? What do you need for things to be ‘fine’?”

Even as Hessonite cleared room on her desk so that she could sit down on it in order to look down at her did Meissa glance away but for a moment to shoot a look towards Beatrix before returning her attention to the one that was now running the show. There was a moment in which she just wanted to slump down and be totally relaxed but given that this member of the Negaverse was one that was able to corrupt her indicated that such an action would be inadvisable at this first meeting. Her gaze flit once more around the room before Hessonite began to speak. Knowing that the words were entirely directed at her did Meissa do her best to pay attention. It wouldn't do well to appear like she had already lost interest. The idea that there would be pain once more coming her way had Meissa's breath hitch before her eyes narrowed. That did not sound like it would be pleasant but maybe, just maybe, that pain would erase the phantom ones that she'd been having. As Hessonite continued to talk the bluenette rubbed absently once more at her chest before the last question that was posed to her had the woman looking into Hessonite's expression on full for the first time."What do you need for things to be fine?"What did she need? Was this simply a trick question in which her answer would be completely ignored?
Pressing her lips together did Meissa catch movement from Beatrix out of the corner of her line of sight before realizing that if there was no way out, at least for now, that the best thing for her would to have at least one semi-familiar person that she knew at her side. Perhaps that could be a condition that was easily met. The next consideration to give voice to, was time. There would definitely be an adjustment period to go through in which she would need to learn about how things worked here and she didn't want to forever be nagged by those higher up that she wasn't pulling her weight.
With what seemed like a solid request or two in mind did Meissa clear her throat as it had gotten a bit dry, "I think in order to be fine I'll need two things: time ... and Beatrix. I won't understand how things will work at first once this is over, hence the request of time. As for needing Beatrix: I'm mad; both at myself and her, but common sense tells me I'll need to rely on her until I get myself situated. I'm not sure how things work around here, but is there a chance I can be placed under her charge?"
Meissa fell silent. Her requests were now out in the open for both Beatrix and Hessonite to consider. Both her requests seemed like salient points that needed to be spoken of before the process could play out.

Beatrix watched quietly, keeping still and just doing her best not to cause any trouble as Hessonite spoke. It was all true in a way, even if her own initial introduction to things had been messy at best. Though part of that had also been on her until she'd been pulled under the charge of Chyrsocolla. It was easy to be lazy, to let life pass by and just live with things before but now she'd been actually motivated and doing things without prompting and doing well. There were medals, progress, and praise here and there and she kept on keeping on because of it. It would be different for Meissa, since the whole situation was different. She felt maybe the smallest bit bad at how they were cornered, it was a lot sometimes and she really didn't like feeling that way when she was out as a civilian. It was different when she was Beatrix, when she had her dullahan guarding her back. Stiffening up and looking between Hessonite and Meissa, she nodded with a bit of a determined look on her face. "I would take responsibility for her if that would be allowed, to help her with the transition and make sure she has access to what she needs." She just waved over the being mad part, because she could understand it because she was a little mad at herself for some of this situation.

“Done,” Hessonite said, with next to no consideration. She didn’t need to think about it, that was easy. “Sounds like a good deal for me. If you two are friends, it’d be a mistake to separate you. Beatrix, you’re responsible, you’re a hard worker. And you care about her, don’t you? So I know you’ll do a good job. You’re the best person for this.” It was hard to stay calm. Hessonite could, if she wanted to, but she already had butterflies fluttering in her stomach. New beginnings, new bonds. A fresh start, a fresh life. It was invigorating. Meissa wasn’t doing this alone, either. She had a safety net. She’d be in good hands. What could go wrong? So that just left the final part. “Are you ready, then?” She rose once more and stood before Meissa. Her hand extended, she rested her fingertips on the Senshi’s chest. “It’ll be fast. You give me the word and I’ll get it done and over with, blink of an eye.” Hessonite was ready to go. She was skilled at this. It would be seconds only–a firm grip on the starseed and a surge of chaos. It was fast, if it was willing. If Meissa gave her the go ahead, she was willing, and this would all be over in the blink of an eye.

The final countdown of this moment had reached zero and, Meissa, as much as she wanted to deny it, had run out of options. Her requests, small and seemingly insignificant, had not caused Hessonite to bat an eye. It now looked as everything was in place. Beatrix would be the one to guide/mentor her and she would get the time afterwards to adjust. Promises though were fickle things: easily broken or forgotten. Either Hessonite was a fine actor or she truly meant what she had said to Meissa. Inhaling sharply did the Bobcat senshi sit a little straighter in the chair when the other woman pushed off of the desk in order to approach. Even as Hessonite asked if she were ready for the corruption to proceed did Meissa mentally shudder. Was she ready? Oh gods, heck no. The reassurance that things would be fast brought no relief to the mental gymnastics that her brain was now trying force her to pay attention to. Would a silent nod of acquiescence be enough of a sign for Hessonite to proceed?
The hand that was placed on her chest brought a moment of clarity to the young woman and her thoughts stilled. Years back, she had run afoul of the Negaverse and had ended up missing for several days. The memories from that period of time had never really fought to break free from the mental wall that had been forcibly erected to keep them out but even as the hand that sat over her chest began to push inwards did one crystal clear memory surface: another hand, in another time and place, doing the exact same thing that Hessonite was doing now. Back then it seemed as if it were merely a game: seeing just how much she could take before begging for it to stop. Just a hand in her chest, gripping the very soul of her being and doing nothing else. Now though, even as that one memory shook itself free and Meissa's eyes widened in shock did she feel rooted in place. She wasn't ready at all for this but it was too late to say that now. Hessonite's questing hand met little in the sense of resistance and Meissa's audible gasp as her starseed was once again in the grips of chaos announce that the target object had been reached deep inside.
The sudden surge of chaos that was forced into her starseed had Meissa wishing that she could scream. It was like nothing she'd ever felt before but her lips were locked firmly together. Her hands, which had been resting in her lap, suddenly came alive and her fingers clenched at the base of the chair with the sensations that held her fast to her seat. She couldn't fight this overwhelming sense of wrongness no matter how hard she wanted to. It was just too much for her to handle. Giving in wasn't exactly an action that Meissa was fond of taking. In this scenario, with her starseed in the grips of chaos, and with nothing or no one swooping in at the very last second to save her ... did the Bobcat senshi do just that: she gave in. Black streaks began to run down the sides of her fuku before spreading to cover all the white that once was worn with pride. The tiara that had been a part of her powered outfit for so long split in two before falling to the floor. In the middle of her smooth forehead now was nothing more than a black hole, cracked in appearance, and looking so very out of place. Similar to her tiara, another piece of her old fuku design had shattered leaving nothing more than one more black and cracked hole in her chest.
Meissa wasn't aware of these changes as they happened. Even her blue hair, braided as it was, suddenly lengthening to fall to either side of her seated tush on the chair brought no recognition from the process in which she was in the grips of. The cosmetic changes were fairly significant and would be realized in due time but all that the girl on the chair cared about was wanting that hand out of her chest. Chaos had rooted itself, deep inside her soul, completing a change that had taken virtually no time at all. Yet pain still held Meissa as tight as as Hessonite's grip on her starseed had been. Slowly that grip on her starseed loosened and the hand was withdrawn. Meissa's fingers slowly uncurled from the death grip that she had held on the base of the chair before her head rose to peer about the room ... silently surveying everything.
