Rene seems like a pretty chill person, and he can be-- but then he gets bored. Whether it's throwing an apple at a stranger's head and hiding, yeeting a voltorb into a crowd, or saying something he knows will annoy someone, Rene's need for something to be going on seems to be virtually limitless. If something is going on, and he has something to react to, he's happy. Maybe not literally happy -- he could be fighting, or 'angry', or some other primary emotion, but some part of him is content. He's combative, and antagonistic, but it doesn't mean he can't put on a nice face and just talk with someone... at least until he figures out what makes them tick, or the topic stops being interesting.
History:
The way Rene looks and acts, you'd think he was raised by Mankeys-- and who knows, maybe he was. The way he talks about his background, it's sort of hard to pin down what really was, or is. He has a little sister-- he has twin brothers. His mom's a single parent-- his dad traveled a lot. It's not that the things he says contradict one another, but the way he talks about things seem disjointed, disconnected. And if people point that sort of thing out, he will sometimes outright ignore them. It's hard to tell how much of what he says are actual aspects of his past, or just all part of the games he plays, messing with people and prodding for reactions.
