Probably the first show I remember never wanting to miss an episode, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, this was before DBZ even. This you could even argue got me into Japanese entertainment, which became a big love in my life. I was so into the original series, I just stopped when it was over, didn't want to ruin how perfect it was for me with crazy themed spin-offs. But I played the games on Sega, I had the pillows and blankets, I did the Halloween costumes, I swung my Saba sword like a badass all the time with my neighborhood friends in some yard after school, having a blast as we struck dramatic poses and fought to save the world. If you weren't doing it with us, you just weren't cool enough to.
Sad to hear about Jason David Frank. I know there's already a topic about this but I couldn't reply to it, so ******** it, here's a bunch of fun videos I found while reminiscing that I felt like sharing. Thoughts to his family, friends, and fans, I hope everyone who misses him can look back on these memories and smile. Now excuse me while I go back to my childhood for a little while.
Edit: Btw, my mom could be a spot-on Rita Repulsa.

Power rangers was the show that got me into martial arts and fight choreography. Tommy was one of the first antiheroes and redemption arcs I watched and he was always my favorite. When I started karate I even copied tommys kiais when I did my kata I was such a dork. Even outside the show I saw JDF as a real life power ranger, just a real life super hero type guy and an inspiration. To hear how he went.... its heartbreaking. I hope that if there is an afterlife, his is a happy one.

It was a curiosity factor was all, simple as that.

The simple answer to that is, I did try to reply to your topic, I was gonna be the first one to do so and I would've said this all there. But it said I wasn't allowed to reply to your topic, so I made one to say what I wanted to. I said in my opening post that I knew there was one already but that I couldn't reply to it.
