The Arena, cleaned from today's matches, had reconvened for the sunset and the semi-final round. A set of spotlights hitting the center of the stage as Lilli stood there, mic in hand as she looked up to the audience before she spoke. "Ladies and gentlemen, today we host the Semi-final match to decide who will go on ahead to fight the Tournament of Flames final opponent. Three contestants will go head to head with everything they brought with them to the table tonight. Only one will walk away as your Vale Champion to fight against Sir Drannith." She stated before she pointed her hand off to one of the approaching contestants. It was Nachtaut, being escorted to the arena in his moving dolly with his handlers as she spoke. "Introducing first out of the three contestants.... a man whose sensitive ears allow him to know where all are. A mask that hides the emotions of what he feels, who knows what he looks like underneath. All who may have seen it were possibly killed by him. Nachtaut, the human equivalent of Grimm!" She stated as the men wheeled him up to the tournament and onto the stage. They undid his bindings and led him off with one of them telling him. "Remember, you can't kill them, but this is the final match before the real battle. Show them no mercy." With that being said Lilli continued on as she pointed to another area. A spotlight shone on a lone man walking with his weapons.
"Introducing next, the man who was only getting warmed up in the match in the morning. An experienced Huntsman whose weapons have pierced the sky and the hearts of those whom he protects. Will he have what it takes to take on Sir Drannit if he wins? Garret... REVELEY!!!!" She shouted as Garret had the entire time to walk to the arena alone, no escort or anything as he had earned the respect of the workers this time, and even allowed to carry his weapons drawn. The crowd seemed to have their favorite picked out for this match as people were cheering for him. Soon the neigh of a horse could be heard as the sound of galloping could be followed afterwards while Lilli looked to Garret. Her pupils gone as she looked at him and spoke directly to him. "I look forward to seeing how well you do in this battle. Heiroken is expecting you to come after him now." She told him, her voice only seeing to focus on Garret as nothing came from the mic before she returned to her cheerful demeanor.
"Introducing our last competitor... a walking tank to his first opponent, and a brawn-brained bruiser to his second opponent, a man who only knows how to survive what the world may throw at him. Will he be the one to challenge Sir Drannith? Or will he fall to the side for Nachtaut and Garret, JULIN. KRIIISTOR!!!" She shouted as a spotlight landed on the charging horse ferrying Julin as it slowed to a stop at the Arena side. It seemed to have grown used to Julin as he slid off of the horse and onto his feet, walking onto the Arena. He drew out his greatsword as he looked to Lilli, pointing the blade to her and then to Garret and Nachtaut. Lilli watched each competitor move towards her till they were at least 30ft away from one another in a triangle style... an old-fashioned stand-off between three men before she was pulled away via a Drone and put into her swing seat. She watched from above before she soon shouted. "The final battle between three warriors begins NOW!" She shouted at them all.

Julin had arrived on the field now, his body recovered slightly from his earlier match with Rey as he now had to be wary of these foes with dust. He had plenty left on himself but if he had to take care of Drannith, he needed to make sure not to use them all. He approached near the center till he was running distance from the other two opponents as he kept his weapon up. He slowly began to enter into his combat stance, bringing the blade's handle towards his chest as he looked between the two as he contemplated who to attack. It would be easier to attack the man without a weapon, but then he could be ambushed by Garret and his spears. He took a deep breath and flexed his muscles as he took a single step. He decided on his opponent as he ran forward towards Garret as he kept the weapon poised with the blade perpendicular with his eyes as both he and Garret had equal ranges for their longest strikes as far as he is concerned. He spun swiftly during his charge, turning his head to try and see how Garret would respond as he swung from left to right in a back-hand slash.
However, if he saw Garret move to attack first, Julin would adjust his strike to instead strike the weapon and try to knock it out of Garret's hand.
If Julin were to see Garret attempt to block the attack, Julin would instead adjust to try and strike at Garret's hand that held one of the spears. Many thoughts were running through his head as he had not forgotten there was Nacthaut who could come charging at any given time so his spin strike was also taking note of him as well. A full attack that would hit both before him if both targets were near, but he couldn't plan for every eventuality especially against someone who preferred a fistfight.

That was also a slight disappointment; he was in a mood to fight but had to abide by the tournaments rules. Semblance being deactivated as he returned to his normal looks, he would give a bow to Goliath. "Well fought. I can see why you were accepted; and hope you show such gusto and creativity against the Grimm," he would simply say to Lyosha before departing to the waiting area. Ensuring no one had messed with his spears as he did so, rationing his own supply now, and resting/preparing till the next match. A cursory look around, and a check of the current standings, revealed there were only three competitors left including himself. It seemed they were nearing the end. 'Given the wait...This is likely to be a free for all to narrow down our numbers and proceed to the final event,' he thought to himself quietly. Wanting to be prepared for his next match as well, he would ensure his spears were loaded as he mentally filed how much dust he had and could use for this next match. If his fight with Goliath showed anything, it was that he had to use some of his advantages for victory and not ration them all to the end.
Time would pass, and the time for battle would come. Unlike the other times, Garret had no escort; it seemed they finally realized he had restraint and would abide by the rules of the tournament for now. He would listen as the others were introduced; the one preceding him apparently being very sensitive for sound and had the mask motif for his image. Then it was Garret's turn to come in; thankfully being able to wield his weapons again as one was in each hand now. He would walk calmly and measuredly to the sound of the audience cheering; caring little for the attention at the moment and more so focused on what was to come. He would proceed to his end of the ring, and stand still in wait for the final competitor. Before that though, he would note the one before named Nachtaut; who was taller than himself and whose body was a black color. He could see why the person was called the human equivalent of a grimm; though he hoped the comparison did not go past skin deep. 'He was not introduced as a pet, so I hope he truly is human and not Grimm,' Garret thought quietly to himself. He did not have more time to study and consider though as the final opponent arrived; the sound of galloping signaling the final opponent to come. However, strangely, the hostess would speak to him then; and speak to him specifically as her voice did not carry to the stands. Her pupils seem to have disappeared, and she spoke of looking forward to see how he did since his final opponent was expecting him now. "He shall not be disappointed," was Garret's simple response before she turned to announce the final contender.
The man rode in on a steed, not seeming to be escorted as Garret had when he was on one, and would dismount on his own. Seeming to be an older warrior, and also taller than Garret himself as he seemed to be the shortest one here, he wielded a massive great-sword that he pointed to all of them as he advanced to his spot. As they all advanced to their set positions for the start of the match. 'A bruiser and a tank; I may have to adopt a similar strategy as I did with Goliath,' he thought to himself silently as he looked to his opponents. Onyx seemed to have no weapons of his own, and no bag of improvised weaponry seemed to be present. Garret could only assume for him that he was a hand to hand combatant; or he battled solely with semblance. Garret would remain calm, spears held in an offensive stance as he looked between his two opponents. And, as the match began, he would find his first one; as the old warrior with the great-sword had charged to him. His blade was held perpendicular to his eyes as he charged; though Garret doubted it would be a simple thrust. None of his opponents proved to be that readable thus far. Garret would prepare his own counter though for his charging opponent; a counter charge as he activated his defensive aura. He was not going to let him have all the momentum and power going to him. His own plan was simple; deflect and attack. As they neared one another, Julin would go for a spinning backhand slash from left to right that seemed to be aimed more for his weapon/hand, which suited Garret fine. He would swing with the shaft of virtue(left hand) up to meet the incoming blade to try and cancel some of its momentum with the impact while thrusting forward to Julin's chest with Heir in his right hand. He didn't have a measure for his opponents strength yet, or if he could overpower his block, but he saw a chance to deal damage early and he took it. He was unaware what Onyx was doing but he had to focus on Julin for the time being; he couldn't focus on both at once so he had to deal with the immediate threat. If his thrust with Heir had landed, he would quickly pull it back to him and try to land a few more thrusting strikes if able (assuming his defense held). If his defense did not hold well though, he would attempt a horizontal slash (right to left) to Julin's chest and to jump-step back to gain a little distance between them; idea being to stop blocking the blade and have both weapons free to react with again.

Taking all of his restraint to wait for the announcements to pass and cheering of the crowd to settle, Nachthaut tilted and turned his head with a growl as he was getting impatient wanting to fight again. Finally, the word was given to fight. As his opponents charged to clash, he merely trudged toward them at a steady slow pace, using the heavy sounds of Julin's armor and Garret's footsteps to find his way over.
Being late to arrive to the clash meant he'd altogether miss Julin's swing and possibly Garret's retaliation by the time he was within striking range, though he did nothing he stood ready to take a strike from either. Whether it was one of Garret's spears or Julin's greatsword, the grimm-black brute's blood would spill and give him the direction he needed to grab at the weapon and yank them toward him for as many forceful punches to the chest and head as he could manage to get in.
[[OOC:trying to play it as reactionary as i should for nacht, since that's kind of his thing, but he's also not one to just rush immediately in such an unfamiliar environment with all the crowd noise so obviously he'll take his time getting over there. Julin could see Garret's body move as he was coming in, changing his attack mid-swing to strike at his weapon only for them to clash. His left hand left his handle as he saw the second spear coming for him. He needed to focus on protecting the vitals and was readying just in-case he failed to catch the spear but as his hand came flying down to catch, the spear's tip moved from the thrust and instead swiped from Julin's left as he stepped hard and kicked back. The palm of his gauntlet was cut open and blood was drawn onto the arena. It hurt, but it was something he was use to as the cut wasn't deep. He clutched it into a fist and didn't visibly wince as he looked to Nachtaut who moved and followed their steps as Julin's eyes focused before he looked to Garret. He noted the man's cunning and able to change the battle strategy on the fly, causing Julin to take a deep breath, his eyes having a slight glow to them before he shook his head. Combat was his second nature and at this point, he saw Nachtaut close by as he brought his blade back.
"Going weaponless may have been a bad move." He warned the being as he swung from his back upward and down towards Nachtaut. He kept Garret in his peripherals but as he swung down, he aimed to change the facing of the blade to try and have the flat side of the Zweihander smash against the top of Nachtaut's head before swiftly pulling it away before he could get ahold of it. Julin's eyes was seeing the man before him and his instincts told him this man was waiting for an attack, an admirable strategy to try and surprise the foe but Julin's expertise with his greatsword had him aware of his own attack range and knew getting the creature to follow him would also aid in keeping Garret on his toes as neither knew what Nachtaut could do. As he backed away from Nachtaut, he positioned himself, the handle held before him and below his chest, his elbows bent as he held the blade straight. "Shott." He spot as the zweihander shifted down into it's Oakshott form, slightly shorter than the zweihander's blade-length but it's wide bottom helped for adding to spots on guarding as he prepared himself for Garret's advance on either of them.

His opponent, Julin, had seemed to be going for a similar strategy once close; disarm or limit his offensive ability by catching a spear. Unfortunately for his opponent, his match prior had many instances of that with some who had the same fighting style as was now described by the hostess. Seeing it coming, he executed his counter; a jumping backstep with a swipe that managed to catch the man's hand and draw blood. Standing with some distance back now, Garret did not smile nor seem smug at the blow. It was only once exchange with minor wounds, and both of them would know a bit more of the other's style now. 'Let us see what else you can do,' he thought to himself. He was keeping his semblance and dust as a backup for the moment; to switch things up later. The element of surprise in a battle was one of his best advantages. And he knew not how soon the final match would be; if he were to succeed, he needed to have enough strength for the final opponent. As Garret awaited a response, he would note the other combatant had arrived. Oddly enough, Onyx seemed...passive? 'Why does he wait?' Garret thought as he did not seem to be making the first move when he had a chance to keep pressure going.
It was then that he noticed Onyx's face covering had no eye slots. 'Visibility must be, at the very least, reduced by that. Perhaps that is why he was said to have a very sensitive hearing,' Garret thought to himself but could not be sure on it. At the same time, he would find something peculiar happening with Julin; his eyes would glow slightly. Something was definitely happening soon, in Garret's mind. Though it seemed the focus of battle would shift from Julin's words; going for an attack on Onyx now. "Careful not to take on more than you can handle," Garret would say as he would advance now. While he could sit this out and let them focus on one another, he had an idea how crowds worked. He needed to stay in this in case the match ended with no clear winner. As Julin went on the attack, Garret would try to flank around him; not going for the seemingly easy strike to Onyx as Julin attacked from one side. He had the honor, for better or worse, of not wanting to strike someone at disadvantage as he saw it. He would be going in an arc around and to Julin's right side; moving swiftly with both spears in hand. Shortly after Julin would switch weapon forms, Garret would attack with his spears reach towards his side. Virtue and Heir going for an alternating series of stabs forward; depending on how his opponent reacted. If he tried to back away, Garret would attempt to follow from Julin's right side so he did not end up between the two opponents. If a spear were to get caught by the blade, he would use one of his own tricks; transforming one of his weapons to shotgun form and blasting it directly at Julin (essentially whichever can actually aim at him).

Nachthaut's head recoiled down as the blade crashed flat against his skull. It wasn't quite forceful enough to crack his skull, but it did stun him just long enough for the blade to flee his hand, lightly grazing against his palm as Julin retreated. He had his direction as he picked up on the sounds of armor and words, but the same noise from Garret heading around him caused him to divide his attention and pause for a brief moment. Garret appeared to be ignoring him in favor of going after Julin, or at least not attacking him at the moment when he had the chance.
Being that he couldn't really pin down where Garret was, he lunged toward Julin, and his weapon, with a shocking quickness for a blind opponent that just walked up toward them not a minute earlier. He swung his right fist with a narrow arc, hoping to strike Julin at the ribs and knock him off balance, ducking forward at the end of his stride to extend his reach a bit more than one would expect and guarding his head with his left arm curled tight like a small oblong meat-shield.

Julin's attack on Nacht was shown to have worked to his Benefit as Nachtaut recoiled from the hit and gave him enough time to pull back and effectively transform his weapon. He heard Garret's shout of being careful as it caused Julin to smile. He could then hear the footsteps of Garret as looked to the side after Garret moved to flank him. He had to focus and turned to face the man just as he launched his attack, focusing his Aura and actively defending against the spears accurately using the flat side of the sword to act as a shield, taking a few steps back as he grunted. But then he watched one of the spears suddenly turn into a shotgun and explode with muzzle flash as the force did push him back and out of spear jabbing range. Before he could get his wits together, he heard the flat footsteps and as he was recovering from the point-blank shotgun with his aura protection, he could see Nachtaut out of the corner of his eyes charging. Julin took a blow to his armor, feeling the shock slightly since the armor acted as a sort of cushion.
Julin backed away as the man ducked down as Julin went to counter with his left hand going for a backhand towards him. But he swung wide as the man seemed to try and guard his head. Julin looked to Garret and weighed his options, he could pull back but that would be seen as dishonorable, he could pull to the side but that would put him closer to the edge. Instead he mentally focused and decided to follow Nachtaut's strategy, lifting his left heel. He would dash away from Nachtaut's defensive posture to get past him to charge at Garret. He kept the blade off to the side as he charged, his eyes focused as he decided to create a lot of noise, prepared incase Garret tried to stab at him again. He would drop into a slide and as he skid and grinds the steel of his armor along the stone floor, he would proceed to stab forward at Garret with his greatsword, the range almost equal to a spear's reach as he slid towards the man. But if Garret moved away for a better vantage point, instead he would swing with the shott for a wild right to left swing as he gained distance from Nacht. The main end plan was to get Garret between the two and to get away from the stone edge of the arena.

With each spear jab, he would be met with the flat of the man's blade; preventing his spears from finding purchase or from dealing much in the way of damage. Even stepping back to force Garret to keep advancing rather than steady his own stance; he had a better defense than Garret expected with just the large blade. However, he was caught off guard by his spear's ability; Virtue transforming to shotgun mode as the spear tip would move forward slightly then arc back to be underneath the shaft with tip still pointed to Julin. It would reveal a long open shaft, or more specifically a barrel, as the shotgun round would fire in close proximity to Julin. The force of it, and likely it being unexpected, pushed Julin back out of immediate range of Garret's spears. But that was fine by him; the damage had been done to his aura at the very least. And the message was hopefully clear; 'I am not an opponent you can afford to lose focus of,' he thought to himself. Garret had not seen the full effects of Julin's attack on Onyx; only that he seemed to now be focused on his attacker rather than Garret. Which suited Garret fine; 'Julin chose to start two fights, so he shall get two,' was his line of reasoning.
Onyx punch would hit armor more so than aura; the armor holding but forcing Julin to backpedal as he had two opponents to contend with. Onyx would duck down and Julin would miss a counter attack because of it; it seemed the visually impaired Onyx had some kind of foresight or prediction of Julin's moves. Or, like Garret, went on an assumption and got lucky it was correct. Garret had paused his own attack while Onyx advanced if only not to get caught in crossfire, but seeing an opening he would go for it now. Seeing a look given to him, Garret did not hesitate to rush forward; intending to keep the pressure with a series of jabs. His goal wasn't to get Julin out of the ring, but to keep the pressure on him. What Garret had not expected was for Julin to charge forth himself towards him; evidently trying to make sure he was not backed into a corner. Garret would only smile at the perceived challenge; noting the man's blade was off to the side and that he was generating a lot of noise. As Garret would stab towards him with Heir, he would again be caught by surprise as the bulkily armored man transitioned from charge to slide; the armor scraping loudly against the floor as he did. While he was neither going fast nor far with that much weight and friction, the initial speed of it and transition made his attack miss and for Julin to close the gap. And, at the same time, he would stab towards Garret with his sword now; with surprising speed to it despite current sliding on the ground. Garret would move Virtue, since he was still bringing his arm with Heir back from its thrust, from trop down in a sweeping strike so the shaft of it would hit the top of the blade hopefully. At the same time, he would bend and attempt to jump up into a front flip over the attack (pushing off the shaft of spear on Julins sword for extra lift and leverage) to land behind him. 'Clever,' he thought to himself, regardless of it the sword had managed to hit him or not. Being guarded, he would have one spear facing to Julin and the other to Onyx as he stood with his left shoulder facing Onyx and right to Julin. Not going on the offense for the moment as he prepared for any would be attacks at the moment.

Snarling out loudly as Julin charged away, making quite the racket in doing so, Nachthaut went after him without a moment's pause. Julin had become the obvious target of his attention, with all the noise he'd be able to pin him down far easier than Garret who was mostly lost to him in the heat of the fight. Julin might have been fast even in all that heavy armor, but Nachthaut was faster, having no trouble keeping pace and very quickly closing the short gap as the man slide and skid with a screeching flash of sparks from metal on stone.
As Julin rose, Nachthaut was little more than a moment's breath away, fully intent on dozing straight into the man and his blade to grab his head and smash and drag it across the stone ground a distance toward the opposite edge of the arena they had just gotten away from. Even if he did receive any wound in doing so, he wouldn't stop with his attack. He couldn't, not ever in the past when his life depended on it, and not now even when it didn't.
Julin's slide was the best approach he could have done against a man with a spear. His instincts telling him to not let the main maintain distance and with his thrust, he had hoped to land a blow, but alas it was not meant to be. He watched as Garret's body bends, another spear coming down and clashing with the blade as his own grip with the thrust seemed solid enough to avoid being knocked away, but it acted and helped Garret to platform up and over Julin as he slid underneath him while Garret managed a good jump over him. As Julin was coming out of his slide into a stand, his plate armor now having some scratches from grinding along the stone floor of the Arena, he watched as Garret land with a spear aimed at him and one at Onyx who was quick to run past Garret after Julin. Julin could see him readying his hands to grab, what he wasn't prepared for though... was Julin's type of fighting.
Sure, Julin specialized in greatsword, but he wasn't one to shy away from a scraping brawl so instead of standing straight up, Julin ducked down and prepared his left arm. He pushed forward, aiming to meeting Nachtaut head-on with an elbow to the gut and following up, as he would be able to see Nachtaut leaning down to try and grab at him, via lifting the man up with his left arm, utilizing the momentum to throw Nachtaut up and down behind him.
If Nachtaut could sense danger however and moved evasively, Julin's charge would've been canceled into a safe roll away to keep to the center of the arena and keep both enemies within his line of sight. His armor did make alot of noise, and it did paint a target on his back against a blind man who's ears could be on the level of Faunus.

. . . . . . .
Grunting with the slightest feedback of pain from the sheer force exerted between his own momentum meeting Jules' rush and elbow, Nachthaut found himself being lifted rather quickly and tossed over on the other side of Jules. Twisting with a hard kick at the air that missed Jules, he managed to land on all fours. Wasting no time, he charged at the armored man's back, aiming to tackle and carry him across the arena before throwing him with all his might, toward Garret and the edge.
If Jules evaded or struck back, he'd follow the noise of his armor and try to trip and grab his legs to whip the man overhead and into the arena floor before swinging him and letting him fly away.
Julin's counter was met with the human's reaction of landing on his hands and feet, something Julin made sure to keep note of as he failed in kicking at his head. Once he was sure the man had his senses intact, Julin took a step back to face Nachtaut and was quickly charged at by him. Julin grunted, taking the tackle head-on but in turn, grabbing onto Nachtaut as they were stuck in a grapple. Julin's left arm had him countering Nachtaut's attempt to throw him, but the carrying part was a bit easy as Julin's feet were lifted up. Yet before they got close to Garret, Julin thrusts his sword into the stone, fracturing the Arena's stone floor slightly as he used it as a brace behind him. He forced his feet to touch stone once more before he brought his right hand back around in an attempt to lift Nachtaut up. Two grown men, fighting with pure strength, this was an interesting battle as Julin was going to attempt a good, yet old-fashioned, powerbomb to try and stun the man made of muscle and bones. "Just because you're strong....nnngh, doesn't mean you'll succeed!" He shouted as he exerted his strength to match Nachtaut's, could it be a fruitful effort to overpower him? Or was it leaving them both open for an easy ambush by Garret.

He had been expecting to be between both Onyx and Julin and have to fight both, but it seemed Onyx only had eyes to Julin. His spear point would follow the man as he rushed forward just in case of an attack, but there was no need. It gave Garret an unexpected pause in the battle to calmly think and plan as the two were locked in close quarters combat with one another; Julin's sword providing little as they fought and wrestled. 'As tempting as it is just to watch and let them fight till one remains, I do not have such a luxury in a tournament,' he thought to himself silently. In real battle, he would wait and let them finish their fight before intruding. But sitting out where a crowd's opinion mattered greatly as to whether you could continue made that not an option. He knew that much at least, especially if time ran out and it was the crowd who determined the victor here. As he walked forward towards them, a bit of amusement crossed his expression. 'He wanted to fight both of us, and now it seems he has his hands full,' he thought quietly of Julin. Garret would load a fire dust to Heir and a yellow dust to Virtue; matching their colors and giving both weapons a lethal edge to them. Garret could take advantage of the fact both seemed distracted but...it was not his way to do things. "I hope neither of you have forgotten there is three of us in this match," he would say loudly for both to hear him as he rushed forwards to them. As the two were locked in, Garret would go for two simultaneous attacks; Virtue in his left would go to Julin, as even if it hit armor the electricity should give him a nice zap. Meanwhile, Heir would go to Onyx; if it hit Night Skin would get burned on the point of impact from the spear. They were just simple thrusts, with some added momentum from his own charge to them, but hopefully they would be effective. Garret would attempt to quickly withdraw them after contact; his charge stopping with him being about 5 feet away given he was using the reach of his spears for the attack.

. . . . . . .
The two were clashed in a stalemated grapple, at least until Garret attacked them both. Heir's burning head pushed into his side, prompting the brute to roar out and quickly shift his strength, shoving the spear a bit deeper as blood sprayed from his wound, and it didn't appear to be healing. At least, it wasn't healing yet, if Lilli was even privy to that knowledge. Turning and yanking Julin with a sudden change in direction of force, he did the simplest thing he could: try to throw Julin at Garret as hard as he could.
