The Forever Fall Forest is located just north of Vale. This region is a very mountainous area that has many cliffs. The Forever Fall Forest causes the whole area to appear as a dust-red color, even with the grass.

The trees are known to produce a special Red Sap that is of interest to researchers. Cutting through a low point in the forest is a wide railway track, upon which a large cargo train travels. You do not need to venture too far before you run into some ancient ruins.

While it is considered one of the safer wildnerness areas, it is still inhabited by grimm, Tribe members, and other bandits. The train tracks are the safest route as Huntsman often patrol that area, everywhere should be treated as any other wilderness area and approached with caution.

THE DOCTOR IS IN
Location: The Forever Fall Forest Condition: Good

Vincent walked along a path through the undergrowth of the forever fall forest. Like with the previous class he was once more bringing a group of students out here for a lesson. Though a completely different lesson this time. While the last group had to deal with disaster today's would be dealing with the primary point of this class: medicine. Vincent turn his head to scan the surrounding trees. 'This area looks like it should be good.' He thought to himself after finishing a precursory examination of what plants he could see near the path. His white lab coat fluttered around his legs as he pivoted on a heel to turn back upon the student following behind him. "Alright. We will be starting from here. Everyone gather around."

A moments wait later to allow everyone to gather into a semicircle before him Vincent started to speak once more in order to outline the lesson. "Now at the risk of sounding like a broken record I will say once more that every team should have a dedicated medic. At least one person who is the go to person when medical knowledge is needed and who is in most cases responsible for carrying the bulk of the team's medical equipment. However out in the field crazy things can happen. Perhaps there are a lot of injuries and everything has already been used up but fate isn't done kicking you yet or a little bit of bad luck means the last time anyone in the party saw your first aid kit was when it hit the surface of the river it got dropped in half an hour ago. I hope everyone remembered to bring their books because they will likely be very helpful for you all today." Vincent paused for a moment to take another quick glance into the forest. He picked out what he wanted and then resumed talking. "Your class today will be to scavenge what you may need from what is at hand. The book has some sections in it in regards to mushrooms that can be used to find safe food, but it is mostly a reference for poisons. And while this may seem a little like a survival class exercise the main objective is to learn how to identify and find medicinal herbs. I believe many of you will be rather surprised at just how much of the plants around you have useful properties."

As he spoke Vincent moved away from the class a little. Pulling a knife from his belt before he crouched down and swept the blade at some of the greenery hidden among the red leaves scattered all around the forest floor. When he rose back up and turned back to the class he held a cut of a plant that looked to be a bunch of thin vine like stems with leaves that looked oversized compared to them stems and small star shaped white flowers. "This for example. I would bet that many of you have seen this around the school campus. A rather common weed right? Found all over deciduous forests, meadows, pastures and yes lawns. But now the weed becomes something more in your eyes. This is chickweed. The flowers can be eaten when cooked, the green portions can be eaten raw and they contain the lion's share of a whole host of nutrients, particularly Vitamin C which means this stuff can be used to combat scurvy. Though that isn't all. Chickweed is a herb that can be used to treat asthma and other lung diseases, and when applied topically it can heal rashes." Vincent gave everyone a once over before picking out someone at random and tossing the chickweed to them. "Now, if there are no questions then everyone should split up and see what they can find. Also keep in mind that the forest is a wild environment. Keep your weapons on hand and your wits about you, there could be grimm out there so if one does wander into the class don't let it catch you off guard."

Azura had been the first to arrive at the meeting spot, her bag packed full of the usual supplies, with some extra things for Cecil and a second bag sitting near her feet. Adam often woke up in a panic, thinking he was late for class and rushed out the door without any supplies. Usually, Cecil was much more organized, but his mind had been elsewhere lately. And Ridley? Well, she was the main reason they needed this class. Reckless, she was always getting injured during their missions, and if it was true they were going to be going to Atlas soon help would be far away. She greeted her teammates as they arrived, handing an out-of-breath Adam the second bag she had brought, and smiled when she spotted Cecil, though it was a bit of a sad smile. It was hard to keep her spirits up knowing he was hurting so. If she knew a way to take the pain away she would, but all she could really do was be supportive and try to remain positive. After a few minutes of visiting Dr. Field led them into Forever Fall Forest.

Team DARK definitely did not have a dedicated medic. Azura always brought a first aid kit with her, but basic first aid was as far as her abilities went. She studied the vines the Doctor held up intensely. How could you treat lung diseases with a plant? Inhaling a plant didn't seem like a good thing, but eating it while having an asthma attack didn't seem viable. Azura resolved to read up on this tidbit later. For now, they had an assignment! Keeping her weapon on hand while holding a book and studying plants was a bit of a difficult proposition for Azura. The massive two-handed weapon meant she couldn't have it out while holding something else. "Well, shall we see what we can find?" She asked Cecil and Adam while pulling out her textbook for the class.

Miss Tora had awoken early so as to get ready for the day. Since her team had agreed to the temporary split, she would be attending her first class without them; it left a bittersweet taste in her mouth during breakfast with her family. Afterwards, she would head back to her bedroom for a couple of her weapons, her backpack and her scroll. With a kind smile, she would message Rowan and Ryker good mornings and well wishes. It would seem Astra had been ignoring her, which was fine, though stung at first. Shaking her head, she would put her scroll in her bag and head for the door. "I'll be back later~" She called to her siblings before heading to the forest.

In the Forever Fall forest, the tigress would quietly follow the path that had been sent to their scrolls before they would meet with the professor.
"Interesting," The young faunus thought briefly before waving to the others. "Good morning everyone," Miya greeted politely as was normal before she would follow with the other students and the teacher to their apparent destination and gathered with the rest. It would appear their medicine class took them to natural; and it made her smile a bit since she knew the clinic that used just such practices. Icy blue eyes scanned the area as the professor would start his lecture; but she was listening with interest. Looking to the book they were responsible for bringing. "Dr. Lenz would be most amused to hear about this one," Tsukiko thought, excited to report this later.

Icy-blue eyes watched the professor calmly as he seemed to be procuring one plant in particular to show them. The tigress was careful to allow everyone to see and not stand in their way while at the same time being where she could see as well. Chickweed, she noted, and marked it in her book before looking up when he said if there were no questions. Her tail twitched as she would catch the chickweed before looking over at him.
"Professor, what happens if one were to digest too much of chickweed and is it safe to give to just anyone?" Miya inquired calmly. Once that was answered, she would thank him and move on to their assignment of finding it herself as well as a few other medicinal plants and fungi. "This shall be fun." Tsukiko was quite happy since she found that having a holistic doctor as a family friend to be an advantage to this class. Though she did not actively engage with the others, should any address her in her searching, she would not appose them, in fact she might enjoy the interaction.

Xanthe Shaw

There had been trees back on the island, thin toothpicks that had clung to life against the odds and produced the smallest leaves for fear of loosing them in the next storm. They fought over water and space and generally existed out of sheer spite against nature. She hadn't particularly liked them, as far as aesthetics had gone they had been apart of the scenery but they had been pretty useful in a storm if you liked being protected from one side and didn't care about the very real possibility of one of them being wrenched from the ground and being thrown out to see, you along with it. But here, in this forest everything was different, they looked nice for lack of a better word. They were pretty, a little garish with all of the red but since she had never seen a fully green forest perhaps they all really looked like this. The air was full of life which is something else the trees back home couldn't boast, they treated life as a threat and ignored it. As she walked to the group she made a mental note that the forest worth coming back to. She looked around for Ylva, she had left before her team mate had woken up and was hoping to meet her before class started. Xanthe had been found a nice place to train with her spear in the mornings secluded until the dog walkers start showing up, at which point she and what must look like her huge stick, get swarmed by the four legged fiends.

She spotted Ylva but was called to start class and moved to join the others, as close to her friend as she could manage before being shunted in line. She hadn't heard him, or for that matter anyone, mention a dedicated medic as something they needed to have. She had been up until this point been working on the assumption that they all knew basic first aid and if you lost and arm it was just a matter of sticking it in a fire to close it up before all the blood fell out of it. At least everyone else probably knew basic first aid, she was working with third or fourth aid. She noted down dedicated medic, and then underlined it, it seemed important. As he mentioned books she assumed he meant notebook and tapped hers in a moment of arrogant pride. It wasn't until a second later when he went onto talk about a specific section when she realised that perhaps he was talking about what she had decided was probably an optional book after looking up it's price. While it was probably an issue, her not having access to the book in question, she decided it would be better to call attention to it later, perhaps when he wasn't still teaching. She instead opted to taking notes on the chickweed he had harvested, it reminded her of crach from back home. Hardy little plant that makes a nice stew, although to be fair most things make a nice stew it's really the meat that gives it the flavour. She made several notes about it, unsure if it was the same thing or not but better safe than sorry in the notes department. After the demonstration she wandered closer to Ylva, "Do you have that book he mentioned?" She asked while trying to act nonchalant.

Cecil's mind has been split as of late.... he had been found by Azura when he returned early this morning with a rather blank stare. His eyes seemed distant and red and when she asked him, it was only her that he confided in what had happened. His movements and even his reaction times seemed a bit off as he followed Azura, his movements groggy as he arrived at the class some time after her and the only thing he had on him were his clothing on his back, the shoes he wore, and an empty backpack with his reiterpallasch at his side. He had forgotten his scarf and outer jacket at home as he blinked and stared at the teacher while he spoke. But to him, the words he spoke were just.... going in and out of his ears without being understood before he understood the task of the class, which was to find and secure Medicinal herbs. 'Maybe coming to class was a mistake....' He thought to himself, trying to not have a breakdown before the loving voice of Azura caught his attention. He jumped a bit before looking to her, his red eyes blinking before he nodded his head. "Yeah, th-that would be a good idea. Wait.... where did you get that?" He asked of her, not noticing she had been holding the textbook while he could hear the rest of Team DARK showing up behind him. He looked around to see the other students and he was trying his best to not feel overwhelmed by where he was as right now he just wanted solitude. But Azura had signed them up so he couldn't do much about it as he just shut himself inside and stayed close to her.

Ridley originally laughed when Azura had told her she'd signed them up for a medical class. Laughed even more when her and the rest of the team joked about how she was the sole reason they needed this class. She'd respond with a wry grin, a mischievous gleam in her golden eyes. "Well it's not like I've gone and gotten myself killed. I've survived thus far, haven't I?" With a playful wink and a shrug of her shoulders she had turned on her heel, and strode lightly out of the room. Surely they wouldn't think anything of it, she had been on her way out of the dorm anyway. Even so, the truth was that she could only keep that care-free smirk in place for so long. It faltered and fell from her lips the moment she was out of sight. The girl had a habit of brushing things off with a laugh. It was often easier that way than facing how she truly felt, and in that moment, she felt insignificant. Unfit to be a leader of one of Beacon senior teams. It wasn't the teasing that made her feel that way. Of course not, it was all fun and games and it wasn't like she held back her own banter with them. The fact of the matter was, that teasing aside, they were right. She'd always been reckless, always jumping into dangerous situations without a second thought, improvising in ways that put her own health at risk when in a pinch, acting without fear of what might come of her, and it always left her worse for wear. Though it had never bothered her. It had never mattered because even if she came out beaten and battered, she came out victorious. She protected her team, her friends, and anyone else caught up in the cross fire. That's all that had ever mattered to her. However... in the alpha cave she'd let a dumb boulder get the best of her. She hadn't even had the chance to be reckless because she'd never seen it coming. Truthfully it wasn't something she could have avoided, just a tough stroke of fate. Even so, it bothered her to this very day. It bothered her that she had left her team worried, had left them without a leader or aid... to fend for themselves. They were more than capable, yet she still felt responsible. Still had the guilt eating away at her. What if next time it was her own recklessness that left her team on their own? Perhaps it was just her paranoia driving her thoughts forward. Perhaps it was all these thoughts and nightmares about her devil of a brother. Or maybe it was all this talk of going to Atlas.

Whatever it was... She couldn't help but feel like there was something big looming over them. Something big, and equally dangerous. Which is why she couldn't stop her extra training and sparing with Rachel. It was too important, especially now. Besides, it was one of the only things that calmed her nerves. It made her fell in control, powerful, like she was taking back her fate. No one, not Zander, nor anyone else, could take that away from her. She'd be ready for him if he ever came back, and ready for anyone else. That aside, it certainly wasn't a bad idea for them to be taking this class. Teasing aside, Ridley really did have a knack for getting herself hurt, even when her own recklessness wasn't the cause. If they really did go to Atlas, it would be more dangerous than anything they'd ever done before, and there wouldn't be help they could just call in at a moments notice. They needed to be prepared for that. For that, and well... for whatever else was to come. When the day of their class finally came, Ridley was again rushing back to the dorm after more of her extensive training. It had become somewhat of a routine for her to spar with Rachel in the arena, at least when it wasn't already being used or when Rachel wasn't busy teaching a class. When one of the latter were true as it had been today, she took to going off into the woods to work on other aspects of her training. Running, working, and fighting through difficult terrain. The woods were no stranger to her. In fact she'd spent her childhood running through one and training within the trees with her uncle. Even so, they made just as excellent of a training ground now.

Taking a page out of Azura's book, Ridley had packed her bag before she had left earlier that morning. Good thing too, because she only had time enough to stop by their dorm and sling it over her shoulders before she was on her way again. It was heavier than usual, packed with her text book, a first aid kit, water, and protein bars. The girl was still pulling twigs from her dark locks when she arrived on scene of the class. She supposed that was better than showing up with her usual scrapes and bruises, or a cut across her cheek like last time. Forever Fall forest was truly beautiful. True to its name it was forever painted in shades of red and gold and there was something enchanting about that... magical even. Pretty as it was, she never would have guessed there could be so many uses for one simple plant. Blinking once, Ridley watched as their teacher for the day tossed the chickweed to a fellow student and tried to commit the little flower and its properties to memory. Ridley had grown up on a farm, and near a forest, so she had a fair share of survival skills. However, she was more knowledgeable about what was safe to eat and what wasn't, how to start fires, how to hunt. The medicinal properties of plants wasn't something she was very familiar with. Rather than pulling her own text book out, she peered over Azura's shoulder at hers. Though, considering her own weapons were easily accessible and Azura couldn't wield her own without both hands, perhaps she should offer to switch. Then again, it didn't seem much like her companion to opt out of holding her own copy. "So... what should we look for first?" She would question, risking a glance Cecil's way. Ridley had of coursed noticed the change in his mood and behavior, but where he hadn't explained, she hadn't asked. Not because she didn't care. In fact, she was deeply concerned for her friend. However, she trusted that if he wanted to speak to her of what was going on with him, he would, and she would never pry into his private matters. That wasn't fair to him, and she knew she would appreciate the same respect. In the meantime, all she could do was be here for him when he needed it, or wanted it. He had Azura, and Ridley knew her soft spoken teammate was likely a better candidate to comfort him anyway. Even so, whether the rest of them knew what he was going through or not, he wouldn't have to go though it alone.

Crunching through the forest was heard as ragged breathing increased. "Ugh!" a man emits. He ignores the beauty of beauty of the forest and wonderful feeling of being in nature. Being a "city boy" he didn't care about it at the moment. Especially since he had bags under his eyes that could carry infants. Adam didn't get very good sleep last night. And it wasn't because he was watching cat videos on RemTube. Nope. It was pure research. Eventually, he found his class through the impromptu route he took from waking up in haste. Pieces of nature found themselves in and on his clothing and hair. He made it just in time for the explanation in class without retaining too much about Chickenweed or whatever the teacher said. He stood next to his team and classmates on wobbly legs. Adam glanced over at Azura and noticed she had a bag. Looking around he noticed everyone had a bag. Except him. He facepalmed, which woke him up a bit and sighed. Though he was exhausted, from research, he knew how important this class was. Having medical personnel, especially in an emergency, was of the utmost importance. Particularly if you have someone accident prone on your team. His eyes subconsciously glanced at their leader. He had to know how to take care of his team by any means necessary. With one more clap to his face he woke himself up as much as possible. "Ok, let's get hunting!" he said to himself. "Azura, why do you have two bags?" he asked rubbing his eyes. His eyes turned to Cecil, who was in a particularly gloomy mood, He put his hand on Cecil's shoulder and gave it a small shake and smile. He said nothing with words, but it was a gesture that meant they all were he with him. "This may be a dumb question, but should we split to cover more ground?" he asked with a yawn. "Me and Ms. Thing, AC and Azura?" he asked. He obviously blatant act to get the two alone in case Cecil felt he can open up easier if it were just them two. Adam still remembers that this class is important, but Cecil is even more so.

It had been strange after their two teammates went their own ways but, it was for the best, she had reasoned. She was thankful to still have Xanthe at least. It was nice to have another person with her that had some idea of what tribal life was like...made her feel less like an outsider in this modern world. As the days passed and moved into months since the bonfire incident and the mission with RYSK, she wanted to feel closer but, she would also pull away when it came to dealing with Yowlumne business.

The morning of class, Ylva would awaken and start getting ready for the day before going downstairs to get breakfast for herself as Xanthe had already left. Then she would head out with her spear to class as usual.
"This shall be interesting," The petite wolf stated calmly as they had entered the trees. Sniffing the air, she would just follow the scent of sea salt that she'd become used to from her partner as she headed to the meeting area; the soft clinking of chainlink on the shackle announcing her arrival since she wasn't trying to be quiet.

Frowning slightly as she saw the four-eyed teacher, she would listen to the lecture quietly, looking to Xanthe from time to time to see if she understood any of it. To the other students, she merely nodded her head to them before looking to the teacher.
"That was never stated honestly." She commented, not really minding if she was heard or not. Obsidian eyes caught calm ice-blue for a split-second before looking ahead. "Good catch," Ylva thought, nodding to the student that caught the chickweed; secretly pleased to get a nod in return before they were asking the questions of the teacher. Ylva smiled slightly before looking to her shark friend once more. Ears folded back a little as she was asked about a book. "I did not..."

"If they needed a book, they should've clearly stated that in the message before class."
She commented, giving the "teacher" a scornful side-eye before continuing with. "Shade never would've been this incompetent." Ylva thought absently and shook her head with wrinkling her nose as she was given to think of Sun; a most detestable whining pup. Bringing herself back into the present, she would look around, ears straight up and twitching at the slightest sound, tail wagging slowly as they would walk. "We should at least try on our own...Unless you feel we should ask one of the others?" Giving Xanthe the choice of whether to try on their own or ask if they could borrow a book, the petite wolf didn't mind either choice.

The group didn't spit up right away as there was a question to tend to. The student that he had tossed the chickweed to asked for more information pertaining to the herb in her hands. Vincent settled his brown eyes on the tigress. According to her medical records her name was Miya Tora. "Good questions, Miss Tora. I'll start with the second half of your question: who you can use it on. Chickweed is generally considered safe and well tolerated when used topically. However some people can an allergic reaction. These reactions are rarely serious, usually just a mild rash on the exposed area which are easily dealt with using other remedies or even just ignored." Vincent paused for breath and to allow anyone trying to take notes to do so. He would address the first portion of her question when he continued. "As for digesting too much.. Chickweed contains saponins and nitrate salts which can pose a risk of toxicity if eaten in excess. Although saponins pose a lesser risk in humans and faunus, the combination of the two has been known to cause poisoning in even large mammals. However, for this toxicity to cause a problem then a great deal more would need to be consumed than would typically be used to gain the health benefits of the plant."

Vincent scanned the others having finished his response to Miya's questions. He nodded his head as there seemed to be no further questions forthcoming. "Now let us see what you all can find." Everyone was already grouping up and starting to figure out what they wanted to do. He looked forward to see what they would find and deem worth collecting. However there was one thing he needed to tend to before that. There was a student that was being rather indiscrete. Vincent didn't so much as look at Ylva as she gave him a scornful glance. Instead just sternly commenting back. "When a class stated that it has a book associated with it, Miss Rosenberg, then there is little reason to say this book should be brought to class in every message before a class is held. It should be common sense to be prepared for your lessons."

Vincent shifted his attention towards Xanthe next. The hard edge to his words softening though the persistent serious tone ever present. "Miss Shaw, did you forget your book or did you not get a copy? I had arranged to give a copy to each team. With how much the academy shuffles the teams and classes about it wouldn't surprise me if some have fallen through the cracks since then." Vincent produced a book that looked identical to the one Miya and Azura had been seen holding from the pack he had. "If you forgot then do try to be more careful in the future and you may borrow this copy in the mean time. If your team slipped through the cracks since the beginning of the year and missed out on your copy then you can just keep this one." He stated as he held it out for her to take. After Xanthe had hold of the book he let go and started to walk off to find a central place he could supervise everyone from as they moved off the path and into the trees

Xanthe Shaw

Xanthe had been planning to quietly ask around for a spare book, or at least ask around, quietly wasn't always an option, she knew herself too well for that. She had been eying the crowd, ready to pounce once the professor had stopped talking, other than Ylva she didn't really know anyone but acquiring supplies from other teams was probably a good skill to have. Or at least that was the basis of the excuse she was already forming for when she was eventually called out. As it turned out, the professor had overheard her question to Ylva and decided to single the pair out and call them both out. But she wasn't one to make excuses and while it had said that the book was for the class she hadn't made the effort of getting a copy. She accepted that it might have been taken by one of the others when they had left the team so didn't push the issue. "Thank you." She took the book, as it seemed like the best thing to do and gave it a quick flick through, before handing it over to Ylva. She spotted a number of plants she was familiar with from back home she had used in cooking. "So do we just wander about looking for plants?" Saying it aloud made it seem silly, but that had been his instructions. "As long as we can identify them, any are fine? Just seems a little vague on it's own." She hoped that she had misunderstood and her friend had a greater insight. "Could we just make nettle tea? Start a fire, boil some water, we'd need to collect some water and I don't have a pot, so maybe it's not the best plan." She admitted but it had more of an end goal than wander about in the woods for a bit. Besides tea could easily turn into soup and surely the professor would be all for applied knowledge over reading a book for a bit, otherwise why come into the woods.

"Thank you, professor." Miss Tora was patient as she listened to his answer after praising her and was about to head off when she heard the exchange. "Well, this might not end well," The young tigress thought as she had listened to both sides, she looked from one to the other before clearing her throat. "With all due respect, Doctor, the young woman is correct, it was not in your message to the class. I only knew to bring a book due to past students that took the class before me. That being said, it could've been said in a better way," Miya told him with a calm and mature tone before bowing slightly.

She was not one to disrespect authority, but she was not the type to blindly follow it either.
"Just to be fair," Tsukiko thought as she could see the wolf had been seething before, but seemed to have calmed before the statements of the wolf's companion chimed in. Leaving after the book exchange. Miya would put the book in her basket as she did; remembering where to find several forest plants on her own. "Alright, where is it..." Tsukiko pondered quietly as she would be searching for nettles first, chickweed, wood avens, pineapple weed, wild garlic, wild asparagus, horse chestnut, plantain, morel, oyster, and porcini.

Why wouldn't you come to class without your textbook? Cecil obviously had a good reason and Adam...well it wouldn't have mattered if the class had instructed him to bring his textbook or not. He certainly wouldn't blame the professor for it though. Azura gave a small shake of her head, wondering how someone so unprepared planned to be a huntress. Being her usual shy self, she of course didn't say anything regarding the exchange between Dr. Field and Ylva. She had much bigger concerns anyway.

"It's for you." She answered a breathless Adam, holding out the second bag for him to take. The tactician in her said splitting up was a bad idea. Cecil hardly knew what was going on around him and was in no shape to fight, coupled with her previous thoughts of how difficult it would be to do the assignment while having her weapon ready. Glancing at Cecil, she figured he would likely prefer to have fewer people around. "Don't go too far?" She asked Ridley and Adam. She turned her head as Xanthe began asking about making a nettle tea, though Xanthe herself decided it was a bad idea by the time she got to the end. "How did team XY end up being two women?" She asked softly to her three teammates. She knew it was based on their initials, but it was still funny nonetheless.

From other classes, Azura had long since learnt it was better to continue to work on the assignment and let the professor of the class deal with troublemakers. In fact, the trouble Ylva and Xanthe were making was really quite mild compared to others. "Why don't we go this way?" She said gently guiding Cecil away from the crowd. "Pick your favourite plant and we'll see if we can find it in the book."

The teacher was rather hard to respect when he placed blame on a student rather than admit his mistake like an adult, in Ylva's eyes at least. Though she respected his knowledge, the arrogant human male was no different than any other...And so far very few people she's met have proved that they are worthy of respect. Her bristled fur an indicator of her annoyance would settle only when she heard the tigress speak up after the self-righteous lecture. The petite wolf did not get angry at the young woman, but rather frowned in contemplation as the teacher spoke to Xanthe and her partner's response. Taking the book that her teammate gave her, the wolf looked back to Dr. Vincent calmly. "I admit, I should've worded the truth in a better way."

"I respect your knowledge but, not you as a person; and I am aware you might think me just a pup,"
She commented finally after a thoughtful expression turned to one of neutrality as she finished her statement before turning. Handing the book back to Xanthe, she would walk with her to the east. Nodding in response to question, the soft clinking of the shackle around her neck soon quieted with her steps. "That would be correct," Ylva thought, looking to Xanthe. "That would be easy. But I know of a few, not by name but from exploration while camping out here," She commented with a smile. "Nettle tea sounds nice. By the river we'll find bark of a tree that helps with pain, there's also wild flowers that help with sleep and relax you..."

"Along with others that are pretty tasty...We're not far from where I marked camp actually, about a mile or so in,"
Ylva told Xanthe; implying she had supplies that the girls would need. What she meant by marked, Xanthe would have to ask, as she did not clarify much without it. While they walked further from the teacher, whether she'll return, she was not sure still. Stopping when she spotted a patch of small shaded moist soil where white flowers grew with long leaves no thicker than two or three fingers (wild garlic), her nose wrinkling a little from the fragrance, but, it tasted good, so she would be careful in harvesting just a bushel and placing it in her basket.

Cecil's mind was still out of it as he had been thinking too much on what had happened, that he forgot it was normal to bring a textbook to class. He soon realized his other team members were here and he had to force a small smile, he was glad that they were here.... yet why wasn't it making him feel better? He looked to Azura and was about to comment before Ridley soon asked about what they should look for first. He didn't look towards her, but her glance towards him would reveal that he was out of sorts. The bags under his eyes and the way his currently unwashed hair of yesterday hid hid his forehead and a portion of his eyes would be enough detail for her to know something was eating at his heart. He was trying to think and respond to Ridley without looking at her before he felt Adam's hand upon his shoulder. Cecil from before would wrench himself away from such a close touc.... but not this Cecil, instead he stood still, his body quivering slightly as the gesture was very sweet.... it stirred his emotions that he was trying to keep in check as Adam spoke about splitting up. Cecil was about to decline the four of them splitting up until Azura answered for him. He looked to her and nodded his head. 'Maybe for the best we keep to who we know....' He thought as he looked to the teacher who was in the middle of chastising the students for not bringing their textbooks to class.

He looked down and finally realized just how unprepared he was for today's class. He only brought his weapon, his backpack, and just the outfit he wore. He shook his head as he looked to Azura when she joked before he looked to Team XY. He had stopped smiling but he let out a closed mouth chuckle as the Chromosome joke was spot on. He began to walk away from the other two with Azura as she guided him before he soon spoke. "Thanks..." He told her softly as they moved into the forest before she soon asked him about his favorite plant. He looked to the trees and slowly shook his head before he soon stated calmly. "It wouldn't grow here.... the trees and the season don't work well for the Hellabore flower..." He told her calmly as they walked, looking for herbs as he knelt down to the base of one tree. He had been fighting back his emotions before he soon raised his left hand and, without using his aura, he punched the tree hard. "...It's not fair..." He spoke softly to Azura, having been bottling up his anger since his news. ""I....I was in the Arena training at the time... prepared to go and see my family!" He vented, he didn't like this feeling of uselessness, this feeling of loss. The way it ate at him reminded him of when he would go berserk against Tessa and how he lost it in the caves.
