EARLY CHILDHOOD Jane was born only ten minutes after Joseph, a fact he never lets her forget. Their father, Robert was a muggle administrative assistant and their mother, Karen, was a witch who used to waitress in a magical shop before the twins were born. The family did pretty okay living in an apartment in London. Jane and her twin brother went to elementary at a muggle school where they did okay. Outside of school, Jane mostly just hung out with her friends and played video games. Her mom taught her some things about magic growing up like basic spells, plants, and potions. Even without a wand of her own, Jane would try to practice, waving a stick around or mixing ingredients and calling soup “food potions”. She was really excited to get her Hogwarts letter, even though she always knew it was coming.
