In Chrome there will be "CacheWritableAdobeRoot" and "WritableRoot" folders in c:Users AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefaultPepper DataShockwave Flash
You create "System" folder there and mms.cfg in that new folder. Enter something like this in that mms.cfg:

Thank you for this! I don’t come around Gaia much anymore but when I do some on I like fishing, and was a little upset it was down. .

Is this still accurate? We did an update on my computer nearing the end of January and after the update the feeshing stopped working. sad
My husband said the file was still there and looked right? o.o

I went back to using an old version of Firefox and an old version of flash to get it to work.

We did an update on my computer nearing the end of January and after the update the feeshing stopped working. sad My husband said the file was still there and looked right? o.o So Google Chrome is officially not supporting flash any more even with the workarounds. I completely uninstalled flash and then reinstalled an older version https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/waterfox/flashplayer32_0r0_344_win.exe from the games tab and also running an older version of Firefox 73. I will also mention this will leave you more vulnerable to viruses and hacking, which is the whole reason they are trying to stop flash. If you do end up going this route please please please only go straight to fishing. Don't use the forums, don't click any links, don't open any PMs and DEFINITELY don't go to any other websites on this browser.

I use the Waterfox browser and an old flash version.
Competing seems very easy, since not many people play anymore.
