Free For All Wrestling Entertainment Presents...

Final FFAntasy I

Live Audience Exclusive
Crestwood vs SOLDADO
-SOLDADO def. Crestwood via submission with the Crossface

Live Audience Exclusive
Kelly King 2.0 vs Terran Tiers
-King def. Terran via pinfall with the Hard Restart

Co-Op Championships #1 Contendership
The Monitor & Tanuki vs Jayce Myraj & Proto
-Everyone in the match except for Tanuki were really roughed up from tournament participation and it showed, the Championship Soul really took a lot out of everyone. Rough schedule
-The Unit Shredderz were on commentary for the match and said they didn't think Monitor and Tanuki really deserved another title match and hoped that Proto and Jayce won
-The Monitor def. Jayce via pinfall with a Shining Wizard to win #1 Contendership
-After the match, the Monitor and Tanuki tried to provoke the Unit Shredderz but Inez and Lynn left, saying they had their own match to prepare for

Platinum Championship #1 Contendership
Watch Your Step Match - There Must Be A Winner

Grif vs Kurast
-In addition to all of the usual Watch Your Step Match loss conditions (Pinfall, Submission, DQ, Count-Out, Going over the top rope and both feet hitting the floor, not breaking ropebreaks by a two count, first blood, knock out, count of 10, sealing your opponent in a casket at ringside), the additional rule was added that the match could not end via a draw, and the refbot assigned was deliberately programmed for this match. 2.0 booked this match with the logic that "well they've already beat the s**t out of each other in all sorts of No DQ matches, lets just throw ALL the rules at them at once."
-Grif and Kurast were both extremely careful with everything they did, wrestling a Watch Your Step match is like wrestling on eggshells. At one point, Grif almost won by throwing Kurast over the top rope, but Kurast managed to hold on
-The end of the match, and the feud, finally came when Kurast hit Grif with a Gore so hard that Grif fell out of the ring through the ropes and into the casket at ringside, which then closed on him, hitting him in the head on the way down
-Kurast def. Grif via casket to win #1 Contendership

"C Block" Final
Fate Four Way

Akiren Kurumiya [10] vs Curio [6] vs Tallah [6] vs Revy LaFlare [6]
-Scores determined by tag team matches during the tournament, with the two wrestlers with the most points being paired off to face each other to see who wins the unofficial "C Block". Points were awarded only if the competitor actually scored the winning pinfall or submission. Akiren had the most points, while the next most was a three way tie.
-Revy LaFlare eliminated Tallah via submission by putting her in The ZONE
-Akiren Kurumiya eliminated Curio via pinfall with a Phantom Chance after Revy hit Curio with the Combo Breaker
-Akiren def. Revy via pinfall with a Tokyo Rat Trap II to win C Block

Backstage Segment
Serenno and Jada were shown arriving late to the show with the FFA World Championship. Leaving their limo, Kimmi ran up and asked Reno for his thoughts on facing Raj for the world title tonight. Jada answered for Serenno and said that it was bullshit that someone like Raj, who didn't even win the tournament, was getting a title match just because he got lucky one night and beat Reno when he had stomach flu during their tournament match. Jada further elaborated that it didn't matter what happened during the tournament because Serenno left it still the World Champion. The real question is who the hell Ashalar and his new hitman think they are, showing up in FFA after months of vignettes. Jada demands an explanation from them and she isn't taking no for an answer.

FFA Co-Op Championships Match
The Unit Shredderz © vs Tatakai
-Lynn Santos def. Tesara Saito via pinfall with a New York Hello, Brooklyn Goodbye to retain the championships
-After the match, the Unit Shredderz said that if they had to face the superheroes for the title again, then they demanded a new stipulation. If Monitor and Tanuki can't beat them for the titles, they never get another chance at them as long as they are the champions.

Backstage Segment
Raj, Marx, and Dodge are backstage talking to each other about their respective matches tonight, when Myles comes into the locker room. The tension is noticeable between them, but Myles opens up with an apology. He says to Marx that maybe their chemistry as a duo just wasn't good and that they started off strong but he thinks its fair to say they both made a few mistakes but Myles says that he made more and he recognizes that. Marx accepts his apology after a moment and makes a point of saying that he and Dodge have way more history as tag partners so Myles might be right about the chemistry thing. Marx agrees to call it water under the bridge, and they can all start off fresh by beating the Mob tonight. They leave, but Myles leaves last and gets a sour look on his face.

.........................The Mob....... The House of the Rising Sun
J-Money, Sobek & Zero vs Marx, Myles Shaw & Dodge
-Marx and Dodge kicked a** several times with many double team moves, but to Myles' credit he was also firing on all cylinders as well, getting a hot tag that took Sobek off his feet at the end, which no one had been able to do before that
-J-Money kept ducking behind Sobek for protection whenever Marx would get on a roll, and Sobek was very dominant in the match
-Marx def. Zerotonin via pinfall with a superkick
-After the match, Marx and Dodge celebrated together while Myles stood off to the side. After a bit, they noticed and told him to come in and celebrate as well. Myles relented, smiled, and all three got their hands raised

Infernoweight Championship Match
Domino Ando © vs Mike Landry
-Before the match, Landry gets on the mic and asks Domino if he thinks he can get by as Infernoweight Champion without resorting to shitty tactics like Josh, and dares him not to use the Trial By Fire rule. It is an obvious ploy to get Domino to give up his advantage, but Domino says no problem and agrees to play it straight as an arrow
-Landry laughs at Domino, thinking he's made a grave mistake and fallen for one of the classic blunders, but then gets his soul smacked out of him when Domino straight kicks him in the chest
-Domino def. Landry via pin with the Sunfall and it wasn't even close, retaining the championship

Championship Soul Bronze Medal Match
"Black Magic Woman" Dallas Cruz vs "The Storm" Matt Shanahan
-Matt enters first, bringing with him the gravitas he normally does. When Dallas comes out, Matt tries to interfere with her entrance by making it rain on her during "Voodoo Ritual" but, unnervingly, Dallas begins to dance in the rain to the beat of her own theme music in a macabre manner
-Matt tries to intimidate Dallas at the start of the match after their epic entrances to this once in a lifetime match. Dallas steps up to face him, not backing down and even smiling sinisterly at Matt... causing Shanahan to take a wary step back before they lock up for the first time
-Matt, the visibly stronger of the two, actually struggles to beat Dallas in a test of strength, but does manage to push her back into a corner. Dallas turns it into a beatdown however, and the two begin trading blows with punches, trying their best to cover up
-Dallas hits Matt with the Chaos Magick three times, at what many fans think is the climax of the match, but Matt kicks out of all three of them in succession and then stands up in a rage
-Dallas gets planted on the mat by Around The Corner for a near fall, and then rises up in a crab walk. Matt is visibly perturbed at first but then grabs Dallas by the neck and lifts her out of the crab walk into a chokeslam onto his knee in one motion, getting another near fall.
-As the match goes on, nearing the thirty minute mark, Matt starts to notice that Dallas seems less and less effected by his offense, and eventually he punches Dallas straight in the face with a right hand and actually recoils his fist in pain while Dallas slowly stares at him. Matt tries to finish her with the Chapter Four, but Dallas lands on her feet and pushes him into the ropes. Matt bounces back, hitting Dallas with a huge Big Boot, and both immediately stand up. Matt continues running, hitting the ropes again and coming back for a huge lariat, but Dallas ducks. When Matt bounces back again, Dallas grabs him and tosses him into the air, hitting a giant Astral Projection!
-Dallas Cruz def. Matt Shanahan via pinfall with the Astral Projection

In Ring Segment
After the match, Dallas sensually lays on Matt's body and puts her finger on his lips, before holding out her arms. On either side of the ring, two figures slip out from under the mat and crawl creepily into the ring. Dallas stands up and takes center stage. Matt rouses from his stupor and stands up, seeing himself now surrounded by Dallas and her two cohorts. Shanahan, sensing something messed up, goes to attack Dallas, but his arm is held back in midair by an invisible force, one of the women in the ring making several gestures with her arms. The other newcomer begins to make similar gestures and is seen uttering words under her breath, and the crowd watches as Matt slowly falls to his kness with his arms outstreched, as though chained at the wrists to a wall behind him.

-Dallas smiles at him and tells him everything is going to be okay, and that they're going to take very good care of him from now on, and puts her hand on Matt's face. Matt collapses in a heap while the three women stand tall over him in the dark flashing lights. In the blink of an eye, the lights flicker and all four of them are gone with a symbol on the main screen.

Backstage Segment
King is seen in his office, having watched what just happened on a screen in front of him and says. "Man, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy." Sarcastic. King then speaks with Sobek, telling him that he had a long month off thanks to the tournament, but says that he will be defending his title on the first weekly show in April as a result of that and good luck.

FFA World Championship Match
Serenno © vs Raj Delrey
-We now return you to your regularly scheduled wrestling matches
-Serenno and Raj lock up, and when Reno senses that he might actually fail to bully Raj back into the corner, he breaks the lock and knees Raj in the stomach, giving up on wrestling for sheer brutality
-Raj, with his strong-style background, is very well versed in brutal strikes, and after a certain amount from Serenno, Raj forearms Reno in the face and Reno drops like a sack of potatoes from just one
-Raj goes for the KNEE but as he leaves his feet, Serenno jumps into the air, and plants a fat Crown Breaker on Raj's jaw, both crashing to the mat, but with Reno putting his arm over Raj's chest
-Serenno def. Raj via pinfall with the Crown Breaker to retain the title

In Ring Segment
Serenno holds his championship tightly across his chest as he retreats from the ring, having retained once again. As he makes his way up to the stage, walking backwards, Serrick Rowe comes out from behind him, smirking. Serenno turns around and sees Serrick standing there, and starts trash talking as he approaches the man who attacked Serenno recently. Serenno is not paying attention when Ashalar runs in from the side of the stage and beans him in the face with a black sledgehammer. Serrick then picks up Serenno and plants him with the Wingspan on the stage, leaving the champion broken in a heap.

Championship Soul 2018 Final
"Darkstar" Nate Navarro vs "The Devil" Kelsey Warden
-Kelsey and Nate get championship introductions in the ring instead of coming down the ramp for the inaugural final
-Nate and Kelsey commence a technical masterclass of wrestling holds and mat technique with it ending with Kelsey trying to suddenly lock in the Literomancy, and Nate squirming out of it at the last second. Nate, not having an expert submission of his own, knows he needs to avoid that kind of contest with Warden
-They start to pick up the pace, exchanging hard throws, suplexes, and strikes, including Kelsey picking up an obvious shiner from a Freeze Frame by Nate
-Nate puts Kelsey in a sleeper hold until she sits down from breath loss, and then plants her in the chest with a harsh Penalty Kick, but only gets a two count. When he tries to bring her up for Star Shatter, she drops off and hits him with a Whiplash DDT. Nate manages to kick out at 2.999
-When Kelsey goes up to the top rope for the Medusa's Hammer, Nate manages to interrupt her and grab her, hitting her with a Jackhammer off the top rope for a CLOSE 2 count! Keeping up the pressure, Nate picks up Kelsey and immediately hits her with the Star Shatter, which Kelsey cannot muster the strength to kick out of
-Nate Navarro def. Kelsey Warden via pinfall with the Star Shatter to win the 2018 Championship Soul Tournament and obtain the titular Championship Soul

In Ring Segment
After the match, Nate gets fireworks and confetti to make the win that much more legitimate. Kelsey finally rouses from her unconciousness and realizes that she has lost and breaks down sobbing. Nate goes over to her and helps her up to their feet and they shake hands and hug. Kelsey congratulates him on the win, and Nate holds her hand up as a true show of sportsmanship and respect. Kelsey then allows Nate to continue celebrating and leaves, the show ending.

Dirt Sheet Reports by Jessica Haro

-... And that's a wrap on the first Championship Soul tournament. Sit down folks we got a lot of news and notes.

-Nate won the first ever tournament over Kelsey, while the 3rd place match was used to set up what is likely a story that will pay off some time long in the future, depending on how much FFA wants Dallas and Matt to appear on their shows and how often.

-Other notes from the tournament include several injuries. Jonathan was legitimately injured in his match with Shanahan and needed several weeks to recover, but refused to miss his anticipated match with Kelsey and so worked through injury. Vince also suffered a major rib injury and exacerbated it by continuing to compete, he will likely be gone for the foreseeable future.

-FFA announced a full time partnership and talent exchange with Texarkana Territory (TkT), a small wrestling promotion based in the south-east United States. This is the promotion that several of the new talents like the Unit Shredderz and Tanuki are from. With the debuts of Dallas, and several more TkT wrestlers, it appears they will be moving forward with a complete partnership between the two companies. FFA, in the press release, referred to TkT as their "sister promotion."

-Serrick Rowe, Akiren Kurumiya, and Murata Saika are all the new signings from J.A.P.A.N., yet another talent raid. Rowe is considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world at this point in time so landing him was a major play and likely cost a lot of money since he was treated as a god tier star in J.A.P.A.N. Serrick was ready, however, to move back to the States which worked in FFA's favor.

-FFA is moving forward with plans to further divide the roster into factions, with some wrestlers being brought up from the FFA Dojo or TkT faster to facilitate that.

-FFA worked to make Final FFAntasy into an event that rivals Total Devotion and the Free For All in size and importance throughout the year. Their goal is for Final FFAntasy to take the place of Total Devotion as the "WrestleMania" equivalent show, but it will depend heavily on future shows. The Free For All event will always be seen as the premier and quintessential FFA event however thanks to the namesake match.

-The FFA roster was big fans of the Soul Tournament, but it took a lot out of them physically. They especially liked being able to team up with people they wouldn't otherwise have been able to team with. They very much enjoyed having all the singles matches, especially early in the tournament, mean something for storytelling. (Later matches didn't matter as much once people were mathematically eliminated).

-Dallas was a very popular presence backstage during the tournament. Kelly King has been trying to convince her to sign with FFA full time for years, but her commitments to her brother in TkT have kept her from doing so. However with the new partnership it seems it might be easier for Dallas to share time between FFA and TkT. Many of the TkT wrestlers who have been coming to the shows have been very welcomed by the FFA Roster, many of them having welcoming parties thrown for them.

-Matt's status with FFA remains unclear, as does his relationship with the owner. The two of them have always done a very good job at making it impossible to discern if their animosity toward each other is kayfabe or not. It's possible he has been written out by the amazing American Horror Story angle at the show, but it remains to be seen
