This mission occurs on final night of the Water Festival, during the attack on The Wall. This is a closed RP. Do not enter without permission. ▣===========▣ The Art of Poisoning ▣===========▣
This is a delicate mission and must be handled as such. A certain person of importance needs to be removed from power, but direct elimination is not enough. His support must be shattered first, so that no one can step up to take his place when the time comes. He needs to be shaken to his core, to be open for us to manipulate him. As such, he needs to see how vulnerable he and those he cares for truly are. The target of this mission is to poison his wife when she takes her nightly medicine and drink, such that it would be too late for anyone to help her in time. The building is well guarded but there are holes in the defense. Entry points will be listed, but the route chosen is up to you. If things go bad on this mission, you are on your own.
Level One
The first stage of this mission is to get inside. You have been equipped with tech that can disrupt local security systems to prevent alarms from going off, but stealth is still advised so guards are not drawn to you or the target alerted. There is an entrance through the cellar, vents, and through the front entrance. Each area has guards and the choice is yours on how to enter.
Eliminate any guards and enter the building without triggering an alarm.
Level Two
Once inside, your task is to navigate the house to the target’s bedroom. You will need to go through a series of halls and rooms to make it to the objective, with guards patrolling or guarding certain paths (map will be provided).
Find a path to the room without raising alarms or suspicion. If an alarm is triggered, fight your way through and reach the target.
Level Three
Now at the door to the room, you hear movement on the other side. You can vaguely hear a conversation taking place, only hearing one voice, but can’t make out the words. Soon enough the voice begins drifting further and growing faint, before you hear a door closing in the distance. Now is your chance. One of you enters the room while the other stays lookout. However, something seems to go wrong. Once the door is closed, it seemed to automatically lock. Neither of you can open the door, and the one outside can hear guards approaching.
Complete your objective, and escape.

The Yatomura Residence
An impressive luxury house residing outside Vale, it has been home to the Yatomura family for many years now. Consisting of many rooms, it was once an extremely busy place full of people having meetings, family members and friends visiting. Many staff members have left since the fall of the name, and many have also left after the countless assassination attempts on the family members. Luna Yatomura resides here permanently, and is heavily guarded under the orders of her husband, Shin Yatomura.
The beautiful home is well secured, with many guards around at all times. People tend to the gardens whilst the remaining Yatomura child, Luca, trains hard at home, mostly with his father and a trainer.
The house inside is filled with beauty, an interior worthy of royalty. Pictures of the four children are everywhere, with flowers sat beside the eldest sons picture, Keaton, who was no longer with the family. The halls were once filled with children playing and family members laughing, however now it was eerily quiet. People still visited the family on a daily basis, meetings did take place and Shin Yatomura was desperate to clear the name and get his company back running again for the good of the world.

'Everyone was so unprepared.' He though to himself with a silent smile; the smile a bit masked by the fabric covering up to his nose for his current attire. Wearing his black combat outfit with a dull gold trim he would make his way to the residence of a certain family; the Yatomura family one to be exact. He had finally gleaned enough information and had the right opportunity to begin his own personal missions in Vale; the first of many, for this family and many others. "A nice night for a walk, don't you agree?" He would ask his current companion, the one he had brought along as help for this mission. If things went south for their infiltration, or exfiltration, he was relying on him to help smooth things over to make sure the job was completed and they got out. And while, professionally, he did hope it went smoothly...He was also looking forward to if it did not. And so far, the first step of their plan had gone well. One small explosion at the wall by Akuryo had kicked up the ants nest; which was the perfect way to draw all the guards and peoples attention away from their true target. "Good work with the distraction by the way." Ghost would comment. While their target wasn't in Vale, being outside of it, it still helped to make sure any aid that may be called upon would be delayed, to say the least. Even if it may make any guards there on edge, it did have another side effect too; it mean everywhere was on lockdown, even members of the Yatomura family in Vale. 'The less unexpected guests, the better.' He thought silently to himself.
The duo would make their way through lightly forested countryside to the residence; the night sky being the only source of illuminations besides the lights around the manor. It almost seemed like a compound, or prison, as the guards seemed on high alert. Ghost would silently signal Akuryo as close to the gates as they could get while being shrouded in shadow before turning to him. "Alright, our first objective is the power box at the back of the manor. Once we get there, we can use a little tech Zaffre cooked up for us to disrupt the security systems. Should keep their cameras from seeing us at the very least. Our target is on the second floor, and we got a few ways to get in there. Once there, I need you to cover me while I finish the job. With that done...We escape; be it loud or quiet, depending on things." He would say, bringing up a small little piece of technology that almost looked like a metallic stake along with a small vial of purplish liquid before pausing as he mentioned there being options to Akuryo. To him, all of them could be valid and all doable. But he wanted Akuryo's opinion on how to proceed as he wanted the route that would help him do his part of the job best. "We can take the cellars, indirect but the safest way for getting in. We could go through the vents, but if we get noticed we won't have room to react. And finally, we can try the windows or one of the doors. Probably the fastest way, but the most likely of getting cause if they make a sound. Which route do you prefer?" Ghost would ask rather plainly after listing their options, tone a bit neutral even if he was excited internally for what was to come. He was unsure if Akuryo would be fine with him denying him the kill, but Ghost had to try and do things relatively quiet at the least. ☽☾☽☾ Post Count: 68 ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ Out Of Contracts:

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
A few days had passed since his time of the arena exhibition and his hospitalization. He was still sore in the gut but he had managed to leave after giving Chloris a hug farewell before he took the time to change out of his younger attire back into the form of Akuryo. Once he heard the sirens that was the go time as he left his workplace afterwards and made his way to the location, avoiding sucpicion and sights. He traversed the alleyways of the streets towards the Yatomura Estate and was soon there to meet up with the man who assigned this mission to them both. He slipped on his dragon gas mask before he chuckled a bit. "What a lovely night for a walk..... but I can't the credit for all the distractions. Z helped with locating the amount of Dust needed for that plan." He whispered to the man while he began to walk with him, keeping his torso low and Black Durian's sheathed.
They sliped through the countryside of the residence, cutting through the foilage to keep their visuals low despite the light noise. No one was too close to hear it anyways so they could move quickly until they soon stopped at a surveying point, so close to the gates before he listened to the man in charge. He did remember the schematics of the mission as he pulled out what appeared to be a small stake-looking object. He soon mentioned the various routes to take as he soon brought his left hand up to his chin. "Cellar.... Vents..... and already open locations. The safest and most silent option would be the cellar, we'd have to attract the guards away from there with any form of sound." He quietly spoke before he peaked around the gate, his crimson eyes scanning the building before he soon focused on a spot. "There..."
He pointed at one of the lower level windows, just around the corner of the cellar's entrance. "We break that window with whatever we can throw, the sound will be startling enough to catch their attention but so long as we don't make other disturbing actions, we can slip into the cellar quietly while they scramble and search other areas we will not be. Their craze will most likely increase the guards on the second floor as we ascend but if we're patient, they will relax the first floor guards once more once they felt like they secured the place to the best of their abilities. With the current grimm attack at the gate, it is unlikely they will move the target and if they did they would more than likely bring her to the cellar via a secret entrance if they had one." He had pulled all of his experience and knowledge as Victor the mercenary for his response, the entire estate was practically impenetrable without something to disrupt the guards, and even then they are subject to human error and emotions help create the false sense of security once they realize nothing was wrong. "We will just have to make sure once we're in the cellar we close it to leave no trail."

☽☾☽☾ Wanted ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ It seemed Z had helped the both out fairly well for their task. Even though he wasn't present, he had still managed to help aid them in the mission thus far. Perhaps further, depending how ambitious the man may have been in aiding them. It was regrettable he couldn't be here, but Ghost wanted to keep their numbers as small as possible. Normally, for assassination, he would do things himself. But for this particular target he needed the muscle of Akuryo for when things may get awry. Even if the man was more so known for his skills with a knife than his strength. As Ghost patiently waited for him to suggest a route they could take, he would listen as he seemed to hone in on the cellar the most but would mention the issue of getting past the guards. Which was a legitimate obstacle since they kept a relatively tight sweep of the perimeter; killing them would do them no good, as it would quickly be discovered. So they would have to slip in somehow without being noticed; or hope they could go fast enough once they deal with a few before an alarm could be raised for the others. As he mentioned having to attract attention, Ghost would see him point out a lower story window; one very near to the cellar's entrance. He proposed breaking the window there to draw attention, hoping the commotion would keep them busy and mask them going into the cellar. It was an interesting plan...But Ghost wasn't quite sure he agreed with it. "If we are to do this, we may want to focus on reducing their alertness and that of the target." He would say, pausing for a moment as he did so and his eyes scanned around. Ghost could see the mans reasoning, to a degree, but that was also where the mind of a killer and an assassin differed. In theory, while Akuryo's plan could work, Ghost needed a bit more absolutes in his own decision making.
"My main issue with the plan is getting the guards, and people inside, on too high an alert. A broken window raises a bit too much suspicion without a source. The best assassination is done when the target suspects nothing. But I do agree a distraction is needed if we are to get in." He would explain as he studied the guards patterns and timings for their routes. His mind was going into overdrive until he found what he was looking for. Smiling, Ghost would point to one of the elaborate statues at the side of the house. "Remember the plan; disable the cameras, and get in. So if we can get those guards away from the house for a little bit...we have our opening. And if its something that happens at the gates rather than inside, they'll be less likely to worry about internal threats...and more about external ones." Ghost would finish, pointing out two human guards for the estate whose paths went by the power box and cellar. "If you have any gravity dust, we can use it to knock over the statue. Should make them think its Grimm, and give us enough time to disable security and get in. I'll give you the signal when to act; you'll recognize it easily. Just meet me by the cellar once you are done." Ghost would say, giving his version of a plan for them to do. He would move towards the side of the fence closest to the power box and cellar; pointing out the statue on the side of the house. It should keep line of sight away from there.
Ghost would creep as close as he could get to one of the lights near the cellar, and take out a bit of electrical dust crystal. Crushing it on his bladed vambrace, he would stab it into the back of the light; causing it to overcharge and shatter. As that section would be covered in darkness, he hoped Akuryo took it as his cue. If he made the disturbance, Ghost would creep forward (assuming both guards were distracted and investigating) to the power box. Using the blade of his vambrace to cut open the lock, he would slowly push open the box and plant the spike Z gave inside of it. There would be a small flash of colors before it would all turn blue. Smiling, Ghost would silently close the box and begin working on getting the cellar door open. Meanwhile, assuming Akuryo made the distraction, he would have a few flashlights going over in his direction if he was not fast enough in moving on. He could hear them speaking of a noise by the gates, and that the statue had been knocked over as they would get closer to where it had fallen. Unknown to Ghost, another guard was coming to investigate and was headed to him; though he hadn't noticed Ghost yet. It would be up to Akuryo to try and distract, or dispose of them, silently. ☽☾☽☾ Post Count: 69 ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ Out Of Contracts: Feel free to control the guard and make more obstacles.

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo listened to Ghost as he chose to not go for his plan, leaning in and hearing him out while he spoke. "I see..... then what do you propose?" He asked him calmly and quietly before he followed his eyes, being reminded about disabling the cameras and saw the two humans who were guarding the paths near the cellar door and power box. "Fair point but what can distract them?" He asked before the spectre revealed the statue nearby, soon pulling open his bag and pulling out a large purple dust jar. "Consider it knocked over then." He told the man and nodded at his words, following him towards the fence near the statue. He let the man go first and after he shut the lights off, he leapt over the Fence and ran at the Statue. He opened the jar and coated the statue's lower half in as much dust as possible before he knocked it over, causing a lower crumbling sound to be heard for the courtyard. He had taken his shoot and as he looked over to see the flashlights making their way towards him. He ran away from there, making his way to the cellar door.
On his way, he noticed a stray flashlight coming towards the Cellar door and with that, he pulled out a dark orange butcher knife as he took a turn. Just as the man was about to discover his ally, he activated the dust, turning it into more of a club as he smacked the guard in the back of the head. It dis-oriented him to prevent him from screaming as Akuryo dropped the weapon to grab the man from behind, putting him in a chokehold and covering his mouth as he attempted to use the confused man to put him to sleep. As of right now, they couldn't afford alerting the other guards with death so making a co-worker unconscious would make it more easy to create a disillusion of work. He looked around while he fought with the man to keep his flashlight from moving before he finally passed out. He took the flashlight and threw it elsewhere to attract the other guard's attention while he moved the man to lean him against the wall, making it seem like he fell asleep on the job before he picked up his weapon. He was being quiet the entire time but they were using precious minutes as the guards from a distance were now on their way to investigate the noises and the flashlight in the distance. "We're about to have more company spectre." He whispered to him and should he open the cellar door, he would make sure to enter last and to close the cellar doors behind to leave no evidence.

Calling over radio of a disturbance and that they would investigate it. Flashlights shining in the direction of the noise though not seeing anything; one taking out something that resembled a baton and another a pistol. They would cautiously advance to the fallen statue, one trying to examine things as the other looked around for what could've knocked it over. "I don't like this...statues don't just fall for no reason." The one keeping guard would say as he continued to scan the area behind the fence; having seen nothing inside the fence so far. At the same time, Jimmy had heard the disturbance from the other side and being new unlike the others had gone to try and join them to see what was up. With the attack on Vale's walls everyone was a bit on edge and alert for possible Grimm coming here. So the rookie wanted to settle his own thoughts by seeing things for himself. What Jimmy hadn't expected though was for any intruders to be on the inside of the gate; he had convinced himself it was going to be Grimm, and that possibility had not been mentioned. He would feel a hit to the back of the head out of nowhere; stunning him and making his vision go dark a moment before he felt a hand over his mouth and someone doing a chokehold on him. He struggled for all he was worth and tried to yell, trying to fight Akuryo's grip, but the initial blow without aura up had winded the guy that he was quickly running out of air. Akuryo managing to mostly control him as he knocked the guy out. Despite Akuryo knocking the guy out though, the ones at the statue had noticed the erratic movement of light and were turning to investigate just seconds after Akuryo threw it towards the fence.
"We're in." Ghost would say as the lock gave away just then; Ghost careful to hold the actual lock to make sure it didn't fall and clatter before carefully and silently moving it to just be on one lock. He would open the opposite door then, and seeing Akuryo wanting him to go first and the unconscious guard on the wall, Ghost would slip into the dark cellar first. Shortly followed by Akuryo. He wasn't sure if the man had a way to re-lock it behind him or not, but seeing the guards starting to investigate inside Ghost knew it was time to move on quickly. The duo would enter a dark, cold, room. Various barrels, crates, shelving, and other storage containers littered the room. There were even a few of the very large wine types of barrels in here. At the opposite end of the room seemed to be a staircase up into the house itself. As they lay in wait a moment to catch their bearings, they would hear the sounds of guards outside the cellar doors for a moment; not able to distinguish their words, only that they were there. Thankfully though, the guards voices would fade as it seemed like they were moving on. "Good work out there; that guard wasn't supposed to come by. Our distraction may've made some of them more jumpy than normal." He would simply say, offering a small thanks to Akuryo for watching his back. Taking this as good fortune for now, Ghost would motion Akuryo forward to some of the crates in the room as he took out a schematic.
"We are here now." He said, pointing to a spot that had seemed already marked for where they would be discussing things. It also seemed to relatively accurately, not one hundred percent, convey where things were in this area of the estate. The map may not have been the most recent, but it seemed accurate enough for their purpose. He would move this map away to the first floor, and point to the center. "Our first goal is to get to there stairs, and from there the second floor where out target is. We are currently here." He would say, pointing to the top right of the schematic where the cellar hatch was. "Once we leave here, we will find ourselves in the kitchen store-room and have to go through the kitchen first before making our way to the stairs. It's gonna be a pretty open layout, so be prepared to get loud if need be. But only if we have to." Ghost would say informatively, seeming to be expecting their cover may get blown at that point. He would then move that map to reveal the final one; the second floor. "Our target should be in the far right room, past the library. They have a unique lock to the door; I should be able to get in but its gonna be tricky. And once in i'll need you to make sure no one else follows me in." Ghost would say, showing the route from stairs to door. "With luck, there may be minimal guards inside. Even if we are unlucky, we will pull this off. As for escape...once the task is done, it is every man for himself. Escape by whatever means is needed." He would say with a slight smile to his lips. While the man was an assassin, and loved it, he also loved fighting and chaos. And he had a specific exit in mind. After a pause, he would continue. "As you can see, the first floor is a lot less detailed than the second. We don't have too much info on it, or how many people are in here/ their routes. So be prepared for anything. With luck, we pull this off without anyone being the wiser. Without luck...we have a bit of fun and get the job done. Ask any questions you have now; once we leave here its complete silence unless we get discovered." Ghost would say, sadistic smile showing more now as he looked to his partner intently. While they had a route their, the plan itself was very basic and adaptable. And unlike the outside where they weren't in danger while recon, it would be different once they went up to the first floor. ☽☾☽☾ Post Count: 70 ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ Out Of Contracts: Feel free to make guards and make more obstacles. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo had barely managed to get in, doing his best to be quiet while leaving the lock on the ground, no time to mcguffin it back in place. He did use the earth dagger to bar the doors from the inside as he walked down the into the dark cold room. He looked back to the doors at the top of the outside basement exit as he heard voices, preparing another dagger before the voices began to walk away, causing him to silently breathe a sigh of relief before he nodded his head. He knelt down and listened to the man as he pulled out the map of the estate and pointed out their location. He placed a hand on his chin while he nodded his head as the spectre continued to speak about the pathing they should take. He soon pointed out the room next to the kitchen and spoke. "If we take it quietly, I can use my semblance in this room and dispatch of the enemies there. However if no-one is there, we can move to the next room, the open room you mentioned. Considering how far I can summon the totem, I can cause unrestrained confusion and dispatch the enemies while in their confusion. With the security systems down, I can use my semblance more effectively and deal with the threats with threats on the ground floor while keeping the path clear for you to get to the second floor. It can reach up to 20 feet right now and with it's amorphous state, it could bleed through the stairs to try and fit it's reach. So you're arrival will be covered, keeping the map in mind, you'll have to find a spot to hide before I dispel the darkness as once I do, you have 24 seconds before I can do it again." Akuryo explained to his ally before he nodded his head. "Things can change on the fly as you stated so I'll do my best to prepare. Good thing we brought dust with us." He told him with a small grin before beginning to make his way to the cellar door that led to the inside. He waited for Ghost as usual but since it was the kitchen, at most there could be civilians.
He slowly opened up the door, looking around carefully as they wound up in the kitchen, but he could hear some clanging of metal upon metal. The nice hot fragrance of italian type food, it was nice to smell but Akuryo looked around, there was only one cook at the station. He was making food for their target to help calm their nerves and as Akuryo watched him step away, he climbed though, moving his way and swiftly chopping the civilian in the back of the neck. It was a strong and firm hit but not lethal. The man went down without so much of a sound as Akuryo then turned off the oven, to avoid unnecessary burning and creating a dangerous environment for the moment. He was a professional, and as such...he had to take it carefully while remembering the techniques of his Victor life. He made his way to the door, and opened it slowly, he examined the surroundings as it seemed the room beside the kitchen was the dining room. Extravagent in design, Akuryo looked to the table and the fact it wasn't set up, cloth not even on the table as he shook his head. He was quick to keep the door just ajar enough for him to look around. 'No one inside the dining room...good.' He thought as he began to slip through the door and began to walk through. He had to duck low though, the dining room, while dim, still had windows as he was quick to move to hide behiind the table to avoid being seen. He looked to the other door and waited for ghost to follow up.

He was familiar with Akuryo's semblance; an area of darkness where living could see. Artificial sight though...that could penetrate it, but they had that covered by messing with the cameras. His semblance would be a boon...though it did not last forever, only having a bit shy of thirty seconds to work with it. So the longer they could hold off, the better it would be. It would be a good distraction and cover though if they used it on the first floor to the staircase; that was where they needed to go, and the first floor was where the map was the most vague. While detection was not ideal...they may not have a choice. And splitting up may be necessary as well, even if it were a bit earlier than intended. It was a solid plan though given what they knew. "Sounds like a plan; we may yet see the Bloody Knife in action." Ghost would say with a smile to his lips before continuing. "I have a few smoke bombs to help with cover as well if it comes to it. Maybe we can grab one of their radios/ headpieces and tap in to them; whether we go quiet or loud it will give us an edge. Plus I can try my hand at deception too." He would add to Akuryo's plan. In truth, they had a lot at their disposal and a decent amount of contingencies. Ghost, professionally, hoping plan A works and they go undetected. But his more sadistic side hoping he gets to add a few more names to his list. As Akuryo would mention dust Ghost would only nod; he still had a few tricks up his sleeve with that. Another backup resource. Having used an electric one earlier he only had a few more; having packed sparsely for a few reasons. The main one being so no one suspected how well funded he was, another because he felt he only needed four in total, and finally for a greater challenge. With one lightning/ electric one used, he had a heavy gravity, light gravity, and remaining lightning one left. He just needed the opportune time to use them. Seeing Akuryo take lead, Ghost would follow silently behind him; Vambrace at the ready.
Leaving the dimly lit and musty basement, the duo would find themselves on the first floor with the sound of cooking present; and the tantalizing aroma of food. Ghost would only spy one cook for now; not too surprised given the families history. He seemed to be making something Italian, Ghost mildly curious what this mans possible last meal could be as he waited and watched for Akuryo to make his move. As soon as the mans back was turned by stepping away, the Bloody knife moved while Ghost would close the cellar hatch behind him silently. He trusted him to get the job done, and as his eyes turned back, he would see the cook down on the ground with little sound. Arising from his crouch, Ghost would silently creep towards Akuryo as the other turned off the stove and kept moving. Ghost grabbing the chef and dragging him into the store room as Akuryo peered into the next room. Silently joining him after he entered, Ghost too would peek through to have a look himself. Noting the extravagant design and that the table did not seem ready; perhaps whoever this meal was for meant to have the meal upstairs. It at least confirmed the presence of those on the floor above. Seeing all the windows as he held the door open a peak, he would note Akuryo using the tables for cover to avoid detection that way as a light from outside would occasionally pass by. 'Good; I was worried we would just stroll through here.' He thought to himself silently as he was about to enter but paused as he heard a noise. It sounded like a guard. Closing his door a bit so only the barest of a crack was open, he would see the opposite door open as a pair of guards came in. Holding his breath, he would hope Akuryo was in decent cover as he waited.
"Yea yea we are checking out the kitchen now. We'll let you know what the chef says." One guard would say, touching his left ear before looking to the other with him. "If the Lady of the House was so curious about the meal she could've come down here herself instead of sending a pair of guards for it." He would say with a sigh, finding it pointless as the other guard just shrugged. The speaking one seemed to be a tiger faunus by his tiger-like tail, while the other was a human. "Hey chef, is the food ready yet? Miss Yatomura has been expecting her meal for a little bit now." He would call waiting for a response. Not hearing the sounds of cooking or anything, he would look confused to the door before looking to his partner. "Stay here while I check it out; I hope the chef didn't decide to take a break or just forgot to say the food was ready." He would say as he headed around the table to the door. Each guard seemed armed with a baton that seemed a bit special; though exactly how could not be determined.
As the tiger faunus went to the door, Ghost silently counted the footsteps and listened intently as he awaited on the other side of the door. Completely silent as he knew not where Akuryo was now but hoping the man was ready to act if needed. Reaching into a pouch, he would produce a small sphere. Once the tiger faunus got to the door Ghost would act. Violently slamming the door into the man to make him stumble before tossing a smoke bomb into the room. Hopefully there was no one outside the window but either way if they were; he needed to obscure what was happening. Not missing a beat, Ghost would open the door and slip past. Going in for a series of blows to the man; stomping on his foot before punching him towards the face and then the chest as the guard barely got his aura up in time to take the hits. All the while the smoke bomb would bounce once, twice...and then go off. Enveloping the dining room and part of the kitchen in smoke. Keeping to the silence right now as the man was beginning to recover, Ghost would let loose his grapple line and catch it around the mans neck before beginning to pull; the man struggling against the wire and unable to speak but hitting at Ghost. Having his own aura up, he would weather the blows and keep pulling till the tiger faunus' struggles stopped and gently bringing him to the floor before untangling the wire. Punching the guy in the gut to make sure he was out and stripping him of his radio and earpiece. He would then begin to look around as the smoke began to dissipate; only then would he know if they were discovered and if Akuryo got his guard down in time. ☽☾☽☾ Post Count: 71 ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ Out Of Contracts: Feel free to make guards and make more obstacles. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo listened to Ghost as he spoke about seeing him in action, causing him to have trouble containing his grin before he nodded his head. "Would be a good idea to get an earpiece." He commented before he moved onward to take out the chef quickly and subdue the kitchen to avoid a mess. He began to slip through the area into the dining room, keeping himself low as he evaded the light glancing through before he could hear some footsteps nearby. The door on the otherside began to open as Akuryo moved to the dining room table as the door opened. He was out of their line of sight as he looked to the window and could see another light flashing through. 'Dammit... unnecessary li--hm?!' He listened to the guards as he noticed the difference in footsteps, going from two sets to one while they were discussing the chef. As the light shone closer, Akuryo made his move, zipping around the dining room table to avoid detection from the tiger faunus as he spotted the human. He was contemplating on what to do before he heard the door being slammed into a body. Akuryo glared before he grabbed out the earth knife that was still rocky just as he ran forward. He closed his eyes while he could hear the smoke bomb's detonation, and ran into the smoke just as the light was about to illuminate him.
He slipped through the smoke, hearing the Human panic he could hear his own heartbeat as he got close and with his speed and memories of Victor, grabbed the man's left arm to prevent him from reaching the earpiece. He remembered how the man was standing but he opened his eyes, getting a better visual as to the man turning to face him, he could feel the aura trying to get his left hand off of the man's left arm. He swung with the earth knife, aiming for the man's nose and promptly breaking it as he yelped out in pain before his aura got up. The man was stunned, having his nose broken, blood coming from it, and it got Akuryo excited as he licked his lips, reaching the earten knife over, he would yank the man down and disable his right arm with a swift stomp to his right wrist, keeping it down. "In the wrong place at the wrong time..." He told the human before bringing his right hand up and stabbing it down thrice as the human was trying to fight and get up, but the systematic takedown was too much and as the stone broke from the knife, so too did the man's aura before Akuryo stabbed through his adam's apple. As the smoke was beginning to finally dissipate, with Akuryo's right forearm now covered with the blood of man, he reached over and turned off the dining room lights to hide the bodies before he removed the man's earpiece. He moved the new corpse over to the tiger body while keeping low and timed his movements to evade the flashlights as he kicked the corpse down the stairs, the rolls not making much of a noise due to the heavy body.
He returned to his spectre friend as he picked up the baton the dead guard had dropped as he then spoke. "Your up, check the signal, see if any of them are getting antsy." He told the ghost while he began to peek into the next room, his eyes glowing red as he scanned the living room/access to the second floor. At the first glance, there wasn't any guards around, but as he looked further in, he could see a small group of guards surrounding the stairs, about 4-5 men in total of various races. Humans, Lions, Bears, and even a Rhino Faunus.... all were standing in their way of the target as Akuryo slinked back and looked to the ghost. Silently, he held up his right hand and five fingers were extended out to warn him of how many where there.

Having scavenged what he wanted, Ghost would remain watching as Akuryo disposed of the bodies. Flashlights still an issue, Ghost would remain laying low and stick to the natural furniture to further shield him from any who would be inquisitive. Ghost would attach ear piece and radio to him, messing with the settings of it so it would remain relatively quiet, and soon be rejoined by Akuryo who went to look through the door into the next room; the room they had the least info on. Confident he would be alerted of anything, Ghost focused in on the voices over the radio. Immediately, he would hear someone trying to contact the guards who were sent to get the cook; someone having noticed the lights had gone off and hearing weird sounds from that place. Asking if everything was alright and to respond; sounding like they may be headed in to check soon. Thinking fast, Ghost would try to adopt the voice of the tiger faunus; the only one he had really heard speak. "All clear for now; no need for backup. The light just died and the chef got spooked by us coming in despite yelling to let him know we were here. He ended up spilling some of the dinner he was making so he is cleaning it up now and we should be back soon." Ghost would respond, trying his best to imitate the voice of the guard.
It wasn't a perfect sell though; Ghost could tell there was some uncertainty to the story but regardless he just got a response to hurry it up and to deliver it to the stairs so they could take it the rest of the way up. "Understood." Was all Ghost would respond as he saw Akuryo would rejoin him; holding up all five fingers to show how many guards were between them. Nodding, Ghost would stop transmitting on the radio and look to him. "I bought us some time, but not much. They'll be expecting the guards to come to the stairs with the food and they will take it from there. So it looks like we'll have to go a bit loud if there are five of them there; shame we couldn't do this quietly but we can adapt." Ghost would respond with a small, sadistic smile to his lips. Gesturing for Akuryo to follow, he would creep to the door and look to see himself. Seeing the lion, bear, and rhino faunus along with two humans. This was not going to be easy...but then easy was never fun. Thinking, as he knew his true objective here, he knew he would have to move fast. "Ready for some fun?" Ghost would ask Akuryo with a smile before pulling out another smoke bomb; it would only leave him one left but it should help things out. He would speak again once akuryo responded. "Smoke bomb to disrupt, then I'll make a beeline for the stairs. I'll try to help if I can, but once I have my opening, it's up to you to be as much of a distraction as you can." Ghost would say, waiting for him to acknowledge it and that he was ready, before quickly pushing it open and throwing his smoke bomb in their direction. It fell a little short of landing on them, with them about to tell him something and raising weapons, before it would go off and envelop them. Ghost wasted no time; rushing forward into the smoke. They doubtless all had aura up but that was fine when his goal was just to distract them and get past.
Shoving some of the humans out of the way, Ghost would reach where he remembered the stairs were and try to ascend; only to be pulled down by the strong grip of the bear faunus. Not expecting one to react hat quickly, he could only brace himself as he hit the ground and roll to avoid his next attack as he slammed the same baton he had seen earlier into the space he was just in. Springing to his feet in a crouch, Ghost would dodge another attack from the bear who seemed dead set on stopping him. Already he could hear some announcing an attack and calling for help; but Ghost still had time left before reinforcements would come. And with ear piece on, he could hear who/ where people were coming from. So far, no one from the upper floor that he had heard of. As the bear faunus tried to strike at him again, Ghost would instead tackle the guy; getting under his arms so his attack would miss as he knocked him off balance and down. Grabbing a heavy gravity dust, Ghost would slam it on the guy and roll off; applying most of it to the bear faunus who now struggled to get up. Going for his weapon arm first, Ghost would use a lightning dust on his vambrace blade and strike down. Causing the guard to loosen up his grip enough to release the baton as he snatched it as well. Knowing the dust would only last so long, Ghost would stab at the guys aura with his vambrace blade to keep an electrical current on him with one hand while the other would strike viciously with the electrified baton; rapidly draining the persons aura as he was electrocuting them. But the guy wasn't put for the count; a solid punch came up and tossed Ghost a few feet away as he rolled to recover. As the bear faunus stood up, grabbing the baton Ghost had dropped after being hit, Ghost would as well. Eying one another with hate, both would charge; Ghost going to try and stab him again as the bear faunus took the hit, grabbed him, and tackled him into a wall. Vision going dark a moment from the blow, and a little dazed, Ghost would get hit once and groan from the pain before stabbing again and again at the guy; using the bear faunus' grip on him to his advantage as his stabbing broke aura before the faunus could. With a swift sinking of his blade into the faunus' heart the grip would loosen, Ghost landing on his feet and kicking the body away in a pant. Already, his smoke bomb had faded and he knew guards would be here soon. Tossing his final smoke bomb to the stairs, Ghost would rush to it and up as it set off; unsure how Akuryo was faring but knowing he had to move fast. ☽☾☽☾ Post Count: 73 ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ Out Of Contracts: Feel free to make guards and make more obstacles. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo looked to the spectre as he used the Earpiece to make contact, discussing with them and buying them some time. He could see the man's sadistic side when he was speaking about being unable to go quietly, causing he himself to chuckle a bit. "You don't look too upset." He pointed out quietly as he got into position while he was being asked if he was ready. He nodded his head once and pulled out a cyan dagger and a yellow dagger. He saw the ghost pull out another smoke bomb as he spoke about the plan. "Consider them dead then." He told the spectre once before he slipped out with him as he threw the smoke bomb. He couldn't use Darkness immediately as he charged in with it's detonation. He moved slower than the ghost as he could hear the body's hitting the floor with audible grunts.
Akuryo's eyes closed, envisioning the process in his mind as he considered the sounds, it was a good mental picture as the Lion and Rhino Faunuses were unable to safely attack but the roar of the bear signaled his placement as close to the spectre. He slipped past the two faunus and using both the blades, he activated the dust upon them and slashed along the protected legs of the humans. On one, he created a small layer of ice around the leg to the ground; on the other however, he sent a quick wave of electricity along their aura. The humans panicked as they scrambled to their feet, causing the Lion to turn around with his baton, however he didn't attack thankfully. Meanwhile, the Rhino swung around quickly with anger, shouting at them that they messed with the wrong people, hitting the slightly shocked human with the baton and smacking them back. The human responded with a glare and shouted that he wasn't the intruder, he's one of the guard, causing the Rhino Faunus to get flustered. He hadn't meant to hit his teammate but now he lost track of both the enemies. Meanwhile the human who was trapped on the ground was being quickly subdued by Akuryo. He lifted his body up, a hand around his mouth and he took the man's baton hand and turned it up against him.
The man let out a muffled scream as it got the Rhino's attention, causing him to glare and proceed to charge head first.
"I got you you sunova b***h!" The rhino shouted before Akuryo pushed the human off who screamed for the Rhino to stop. It didn't work in time and the man was bulldozed and knocked far away by the rhino, losing grip of the baton. Akuryo threw the spent handles of the daggers at the Lion who growled and charged at the direction just as the smoke was dissipating. He saw Akuryo and looked shocked for a second."You!"He shouted but before he could get a hand to the earpiece, Akuryo threw a red dagger at his face, creating a small and focused explosion as the Lion stumbled a bit. The electrified human finally recovered and charged at Akuryo who simply smirked. He watched the final bomb come down and obscure the area once more, this allowed Akuryo to draw out one of his Black Durians. He moved close and slashed at the man twice, only getting him to flinch before he swung at Akuryo, who dodged quickly. The man was clumsy, his senses a bit shocked and the wind barely back in his lungs. Akuryo used the baton he was given as the smoke was being moved, setting it ablaze since the baton was given fire dust properties. He swung fast, but he now had a light source that Akuryo would regret. He struck the man's head twice and left him rather dizzy before both he and Akuryo were bulldozed by a charging Rhino faunus again. Akuryo grunted as he landed atop the man and through bared teeth, he jammed the burning Baton into the man's open mouth as he was in pain. He forced the blunt end further into his mouth as it burned his aura away and created a brutal scene as Akuryo got to his feet. He looked behind him to see both the Lion; who had time to recover from the explosion to the face; and the Rhino who looked ballsy as all hell. His red eyes were glowing before he turned towards them, the glow creating a small trail. "Hehehehehehe..... ahahahahahah..... AHAHAHAHAH!" He was beginning to laugh as his conscious was twisting once more before he focused his eyes with a stern glare. "Play time~"
With the words play time spoken, he lowered his body and swung his left hand, snapping in the process as both the Lion and the Rhino charged. Suddenly, everything went black as Akuryo evaded entirely, he was running around, creating loud footsteps that caught their attention as they followed to try and attack, missing and hitting the air while the Lion and Rhino were trying to work together, Akuryo stopped making a sound, instead he pulled out a Dark Orange Crystal. He was going to make sure the people remembered this as he silently slipped closer. They were together, back to back to try and hope things were going well before Akuryo threw the rock up above, and with his aura having activated it, it created a large, dense slab of granite as it fell on both of them. They were struggling to hold it up at the moment due to the fact half a ton was just dropped on them from the sky. But the muscles of the Rhino was having him scream while the Lion was also holding it up. The wood underneath them was beginning to break but it was obvious the sudden stone drop on them damaged their aura just to stop their arms from buckling out of the weight. "That should keep you two busy~" He spoke with a sadistic grin before he looked to the last remaining human who was struggling to get to his feet. Akuryo slowly approached him with his dagger in hand and stepped on the man's hand before he could get the baton. At this point he looked to the front door as they were trying using the keys to open it. There weren't many on the outside and now there were a grand total of 6 new guards at the ready. The darkness field giving them creeps as no one knew what was going on inside of it. But soon he could hear the floor break behind him followed by a low this and crumbling. He looked back and saw that the fauni of Lion and Rhino managed to move the stone behind them and break the floor to save themselves. Akuryo's eyes narrowed as he realized he was in a rock and a hard place with his darkness being the only thing that kept him on advantage. He brought the dagger to the man's aura covered neck and was having the tip press against his aura, trying to push through as the man grabbed upon Akuryo to try and push the hand away. He remained quiet for the moment, his mind rushing to think on what to do.

As darkness reigned, the inhabitants in and out of the fire were trying to figure out what to do. Those outside were frantically trying to get in, trying to peer into the darkness with little avail. The cameras, what normally could've helped see them, were still disabled. Not that they knew. As they finally got the door open, they would spread out with hand guns at the ready. Aiming towards the darkness but not sure where to shoot as they could hear the commotion inside. "Come out of the darkness now! We will open fire if you don't comply." The commanding person of the group, a peacock faunus with the feathers, would loudly order. Gun aimed into the darkness.
Within the darkness, it was chaos for the remaining ones. The human, though desperately struggling, was losing. His aura, and himself, had been severely weakened during the ambush by Akuryo. The dagger slowly descending onto the man as he called for help from the other two; not even caring about anything else. The other two would notice the pedestal and little else; aside from the cries of help from their compatriot. For now though it wasn't their focus; while they couldn't see where the intruder or Roland was, they knew they were by one another since they had to deal with that sudden stone slab. They could only assume the darkness had come from the man, but had no clue where he was specifically or how to dispel it yet. While they wanted to rush to their ally, they knew what it had led to in past. Batons out in this strange darkness, they treaded forward. Hearing the sounds of the others coming in, the rhino would speak. "Hold your fire, we're in here but we can't see. He did something to the lights or something and he has Roland!" The Rhino would yell aloud as they continued their advance. Unfortunately, they were moving too slow. Akuryo would end the life of Roland as he let out a yell that was cut out abruptly; Akuryo's dagger reaching its mark. He now had two approaching him, albeit slowly, and could hear others at the ready outside his darkness. Getting ready to strike as they listened around for the murderer. What would he do?
The six guards outside were composed of: One peacock faunus Two humans A skunk faunus A rabbit faunus And a dog faunus

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo was struggling with the human on the ground, his eyes not focusing on him as he moved his right hand up to brace himself against the pommel of the dagger. He adjusted his stance and pushed the dagger down harder as he looked around to count. Knowing the two behind him and the Pedestal that he had summoned next to the staircase that emanated the darkness to cover him, he had to think quickly, especially since he was practically giggling inside with the rush of combat. The threat of them opening fire without really knowing where everyone is, he knew he had to try and play it smart, especially considering he had to check how much ammo he had after he broke through the screaming human's aura and stabbed through his neck, his screams quickly getting cut off with silent strained gurgles of blood before he was lifeless. 'This is getting tense.... and I'm getting excited, surrounded by enemies.... it's like I'm back in Atlas!'
Akuryo picked the bloody blade up as he noticed the Dog Faunus to the left with his gun out. He looked to the blade and with a smirk, he threw the blade over to the Rhino and Lion, making noise and bringing the scent of fresh blood over to where the men were. 'Let's see how smart Fido really is!' He thought as he hoped it would distract the hound to try and open fire to 'protect his comrades' while Akuryo remained at a distance. The sound was also an attempt to startle the Rhino and the Lion considering they were blind and predators, so he began to silently crawl backwards, his eyes focusing on each one. One distraction would not be enough as he pulled out two more daggers. He tosses one up into the air first, quietly.... and with his eyes aimed at the Rabbit Faunus to the left, he threw the second dagger with finesse, and sent both daggers out in a Y formation, one aimed at the Rabbit while the other was aimed at the Human.
--------------------Meanwhile--------------------
As Ghost exited the smoke upstairs, he would notice his smoke be quickly replaced with Darkness as no one seemed to be chasing him. Yet, in the very large hall with him were two Fauni, each standing beside the end goal's door.
"Look brother.... we've got someone to kill time with." "Indeed, and it seems like he went through the trouble of making it just one on two." The way they spoke, seemed as if they were excited to see someone new who had just made it all the way only to suffer by their hands. They slowly got up, one shorter as he howled, a burst of radiant aura coming from him as it coated the door behind him with a wall of light. He brought his head down and it was obvious he was a wolf faunus with the Canine Ears he had with glaring eyes. Meanwhile his ally who stood up brought a large spear down, generating a small field of electricity, creating a wall of Lightning before the Wall of Light as his eyes flashed before the spectre. A crack of his neck and a shell with a pair of yellowish wings appeared, resembling that of a Hercules Beetle. With a another pound of the spear pommel to the ground, the blade opened up to reveal a Catching Pole, designed for humanoids rather than beasts as he got into his fighting stance. Lightning spurred off the pole, a true note that if one were to be caught, it'll definitely hurt. "We will not let you near the mistress of the Castle!." Spoke the Canine being as he pulled out a pair of claws from his sides, a layer of ice coating the blades already, extending their range slightly. "We will defeat you here and now, foul man." Spoke the Herculean man as they soon introduced themselves. "Castallen and Bakal will defeat you!!." "Castallen and Bakal will defeat you!" They spoke at once as Castallen charges first at the Ghost, claws ready to rend as a gleam of light shone from his left hand.

'Akuryo seems to have that covered at the least.' He thought to himself as he heard the clash of battle below him; wondering how the bloody knife was going to fair in this circumstance but not having the luxury to watch. Stepping out from the fading smoke, the only way he could see, he would note darkness quickly reign behind him. It was a good sign he was still alive at least, and as long as that was up any pursuit would be very slow. As his eyes scanned this floor, looking for his target, it would rest on a pair of faunus down the hall; right in front of the door his target was behind. Unfortunately, they noticed him as he them; quickly pointing him out and that it was two on one. Feeling an old mentality creep up, Ghost pushed it away as he gave a large shrug with his hands to the two before them. Choosing to stay silent for now despite the desire to speak as he watched the two before him; though his eyes would begin to glow and focus on the wolf. They seemed excited to have a chance to fight, and overconfident they would win from their tone. It was the kind of opponent Ghost liked; overconfidence was a weakness he could exploit. The shorter one, a wolf faunus that seemed to have a golden light semblance, would coat his target's door. Seeming to protect it in some way, which was fine by Ghost; he didn't intend to leave any witnesses, so they were in his way with or without such a wall. The other seemed to have a spear that could generate electricity, coating the door in an electrical barrier as well as the spear would then shift into a man catcher. 'You'll have to do better than that.' He thought to himself silently; noting yellowish shell and wings appear on his faunus. This was either going to be annoying or interesting, he was not sure which yet though; with that in mind he would draw his crossbow and have an bolt ready.
Ghost would take mental stock of his options as he awaited one of them to make the first move; he was out of smoke bombs, had 1 light gravity dust left, his vambrace and line intact, and his crossbow on his back with 10 bolts to his name. Not much in the way of options, but he could improvise. The canine would speak then; saying Ghost would not be allowed near the mistress of the castle, as he put it. This caused Ghost to smile faintly; 'Time to break your illusion that you are knights and that you shall succeed.' he thought quietly. Ghost would look to the claws and see ice coating them to make them longer; wondering if it meant he could launch the ice as well. They said they would defeat him here and now, and even introduced themselves for him. "You may call me Ghost. I'll be sure to add your names to the list of those I have killed," he would respond coldly to the duo before him. The wolf, known as Castallen, would charge first as Ghost's eyes remained on him. With his current revealed weaponry, he was likely going for melee; though the light shining from the claws could be dangerous. He knew not what effect it would add to his attacks. While there wasn't too much around him, there was a decent amount of space. Not wanting the other to be too close behind, Ghost would draw his crossbow as he quickly walked backwards; aiming it towards the charging Castellan. A interesting feint coming to his mind as he aimed it towards the faunus' midsection before firing. Regardless of if it hit or not, ghost would toss the crossbow to the side after and rush forward now; blade hidden as it seemed he was charging Castellan unarmed. As they would be about to clash, he would quickly switch into a slide forward at the last moment; trying to dodge the incoming attack and kick out the faunus leg from beneath him with the slide.
If successful, Ghost would quickly stop his slide, turn, and go to hit him in the back with the hidden blade; trying to get a few stabs in before moving away if his ally was choosing to come in now.
