▨═════▨═════▨

Requirements: Team Size: 4; Recommended Level: ~1; Faction: Beacon Students Only, Loners aiding.

General Quest Guidelines
You can dictate the actions of the Creatures of Grimm unless otherwise specified. Generally you should not finish off all of the creature(s) until all teammates have posted at least once for that section (though as long as nobody is complaining we don't mind). Meaning a three level quest requires at least 12 posts to finish for a team of four. It is your job to keep track of posts. The crew may randomly check to make sure you are all following the rules, because we don't want people cheating, but ultimately as long as everyone is having fun Role-playing we are happy! These quests are designed to give your team fun things to do first and foremost! Any member may randomly join in to control the monster's actions for a post. Underlined sentences mark the levels of creatures and requirements to proceed to the next level. Also if someone has not posted for that day feel free to skip their turn. Posting orders can hinder a good Role-play experience and that is the last thing we want (there is no real post order rules for this guild! Be active)! Remember to PM any crew when you have finished, and to turn it in on the main quest board. Lastly when the prompts say that a creature or group of creatures require something like 50 cumulative posts to defeat. This does not mean you must post 50 times to kill it. It means your post count added together must equal at least 50 for you to kill the beast. Which can be done in a single post, or in several depending on how you role-play.

Ïntrodüctiøn:

The caverns beneath the academy have been cleared of bandits from The Tribe, but
due the mineshafts in the outskirts were not completely sealed up and several
grimm have made their ways into the caverns and sewers. This is believed to be
leading to an increased rate of encounters on the premises and needs to be taken
care of immediately. First you will enter the sewers from the courtyard. Then you
will travel down deep beneath the school clearing out any and all grimm you find.
You will exit from the outskirts and seal the cavern entrance.

Level One

The courtyard is relatively peaceful until a school sanitation worker
removed the heavy manhole covering to the sewers. He motions for all of you to
take turns using the long ladder. The metallic echo of water moving below could
be heard loudly. After descending into the sewers your team follows the path deep
into the inner workings beneath beacon. After a while you reach a large utility room
of sorts. It is dusty and the faint dripping of water can be heard in the far left corner.

As your team works their way through the room you hear a growl from above. A large
hole leading to a new section of the sewers revealed glowing red eyes. Beowolves
have made a den here. Two beowolves jump down into the room and lash out at the
highest level teammember.
(Level X; You require X posts cumulatively to beat each single beowolf).

Defeat the Beowolf to proceed.

Level Two

After destroying the Beowolves your group proceeds through the
sewer
section that the beowolves first came from. The sewers soon started to reveal
earthen walls and stone. This was truly on the brink of the cavern systems that
exited to the outskirts.

The ground starts to rumble. Something was happening. Something bad. The ground
then gave out all at once. Your team falls down into a medium sized hallway. Sewer
water spraying out of broken lines producing a small waterfall into the hall. The
west side was completely blocked off, and scaling back up would be near impossible.
There was now only one way to go; east. Only there was one problem. three pairs
of glowing red eyes revealed even more of the pack.

(Level X; You require X posts cumulatively to beat each single beowolf)

The beowolves block the hallway off. The first one lunges at the weakest teammember
and latches onto their leg to try and pull them deeper into the hall. The other two
jump at the first one to defend their teammate.

Defeat all 3 Beowolves to proceed.

Level Three

You successfully defeated the three beowolves. You now proceed out the hall way and
find a large metal door. The lock wheel is rusted and takes significant effort to open.
Once opened you find a true cavern. A faint light can be see off in the distance.
Likely the exit to the outskirts. Several large scratch marks can be seen on the cavern walls.
A shadow rises from the other side of the cave and blocks the light. two massive red
eyes come into view as if the beast was just woken from its slumber. Its fangs bared
with a growl so low it made the floor itself rumble. An abnormally large alpha beowolf.

(Level X; Requires X cumulative posts total to defeat)

The alpha slashes it right claw at the second to lowest level teammate. It's strike
would be lethal to anyone below X posts if unblocked by someone with X posts.

Save your friend! Kill the Alpha!

After defeating the Alpha you can exit to the outskirts.

Garret had an interesting morning, to say the least. He had been called to Aurtrox's office about an urgent mission that needed to be undertaken. Apparently, back to when he first joined the academy, there had been a mission of importance that no one took; to seal off the mine-shaft that led to the school sewers, and by extension, the school itself. It has been a long time since there, and in negligence, it seemed some of their enemies took advantage of such things. The incident that had made this an urgent matter was of...an Ursa being found in the school bathrooms. The student who had seen it had barely made it out alive, and in their distressed yells enough guards were alerted that the grimm was dealt with. Following that it was investigated how the grimm got onto school grounds, and from there it was traced back to the bandit attack so long ago. And so Garret was brought in. While back then it was a simpler matter of clearing it out of some grimm, the Ursa showed that clearly it was not a simple task at this time. With it emerging from there, any type of grimm can be down there now besides the beowolves they thought inhabited it back then. So Garret would discuss with Aurtrox how to go about it. Aurtrox wanted him to take students as a learning experience, and mentioned how the mission was to seal the caverns to prevent other grimm or even villains from using it against them. But Garret only allowed for two students; he wanted to have another person to help him out for the mission. One he had personally seen the skill of. 'The hound shall be unleashed.' He thought to himself. Though Garret did not mention who the person was specifically; only that he could vouch for their skill and he may be necessary aid. If Garret could convince him to join; if not, two students would be fine either way as he did not need too many learning experiences leading to a death. The other point Garret discussed with Aurtrox was of the sealing of the caverns. To Garret, knowing how far the mine shaft extended into the outskirts, it seemed a waste to close off such a resource. Garret argued they should use such a resource; to temporarily seal off the cavern, and later create an outpost at the other end. With it, they would have a stronger presence in the outskirts and could do farther reaching missions, the outpost would have a secure line to beacon to fall back to, and it allowed a relatively safe way for students to get there. But such a task was not cheap, and Garret knew that. Garret promise to provide the manpower, training, and oversight for the place (and potentially covering some of the cost) if Aurtrox would help with the rest as well. As such an outpost would be tied to the academy, and needed things Garret himself could not acquire. Plus, its success or failure could have an impact on the academy.

Thankfully, Aurtrox agreed. Having such a presence, taking back some of their land, and the location would be a benefit to all of them. But Garret had to complete the mission first, and find the manpower to man the outpost before Aurtrox could fund such a thing. Which was all Garret needed. He had ideas of who he would want for such a thing, especially in training. But he had to save such plans for later; they would depart on the mission early the next day. So Garret sent a message to Kai, pulling a few favors to know where to send it, and allowed Aurtrox to pick the students that would accompany them. The message was pretty simple. 'Meet me in the back of Beacon academy. It is something that may aid us with Vacuo in future.' Garret hoped to appeal to the mans desire to reclaim Vacuo one day. While it may not seem so to most, to Garret this was the first step in that. He desired the outpost for Vale...and a way to inch closer to Vacuo. The guards he intended to recruit for the outpost would primarily be Vacuo refugees; to give them renewed purpose and train them to fight. To revive the spirit that their home can be reclaimed, and they weren't destined to a life on the streets. Fast forward a day, and here Garret was. He was clad in his usual attire with both spears on his back. He had an assortment of dust with him as well; 3 fire dust, 3 lightning dust, and 2 hardlight dust. He did not carry any large dust with him or now; it seemed a bad idea when going into old caverns as he did not want to risk a collapses. Heir was currently fitted with fire dust, while Virtue was fitted with a lightning dust round. He would wait by the manhole, sealed for now till they were ready, as he thought about what was to come. 'If we pull this off, it could be a great benefit. And a path for the future.' He silently thought to himself. Aurtrox had kept the students he would have accompanying him be a surprise, as was his usual style. Which was fine by Garret; he could learn who they were and their abilities before they descended down into the caverns. This was also a mission he did not feel rushed in; while the more time they spent going slow could mean more grimm, that was fine by him. More Grimm dead was a benefit in his eyes. Further, he did not want mistakes to occur. He could be reckless with his own life, but he would not allow others deaths to be caused by him. Not again, if he could help it. And in the dark tunnels below, with low visibility, rushing was the last thing they needed.

❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞

                                                                      The timeline had changed. With that so has Kai´s interactions. Garrot and the tea shop with Sassellia. Pyrve and Jackie in the forest. The past months had been a hand full. He really did not go on many missions and focused more on his craft. So imagine his surprise when he received a certain message. In fact, it was quite intriguing how resourceful the man was at hunting him down. Now, doing something for Beacon´s benefit was one thing but for the direct benefit of beacon was another thing. Luckily, Kai did not know the details and that was probably Garrot´s whits kicking in knowing what the possible end result could be if he did. Looking at the message, Kai was just hanging out eating a slice of cake he had bought to go from Jackie´s tree house when he saw the message. It was a simple message but it was effective. It brought Vacuo into the equation and that meant it brought Kai into the equation as well. I´m not going to respond to this. I do not know how he has the ability to find my scroll contact....however, he obviously know something or has something useful.....I would hate to be a pawn in directly helping such a fool of a man that is the head master. However, if I have to stomach this to get Vacuo. I will Tossing his scroll to the side, he would continue on eating his cake while thinking of preparations for this mission. Which dust to bring, whether to use his hakumen suit or not. Possibilities were endless.Coming up with a plan, he would start to get everything set. Leaving money out on the table just for emergency for his student he would start to get things prepared. He would be rocking the Hakumen suit for this. While it basically was like light armor, it was still better than nothing. Especially for Kai he had a thought process. If that idiot was reaching out for him for help, then who knows what they could be facing! Packed up and ready, he would now just wait for the time to come.

                                                                      Once the time did come, would be suited up in his Hakumen armor and start to head towards beacon academy. Soon, the roar of an engine would start to increase as the noise resonated around the academy. The bike would soon lose life as the engine was ceased once he made it to the back of Beacon Academy. Armored up, it probably be curious who it was but with the removal of the helmet the familiar blonde hair would flow before his emerald eyes looked around. Spotting Garret, he would rest on his bike and place his helmet down. ¨I did not think one would swallow their pride to contact me. I guess you finally come to your senses on who the better huntsmen and required my skill little Garrot?" He commented with a smirk before getting off his motorcycle. He figured no one would steal it. They have security anyways. Putting the helmet to his armor back on, he would head towards Garrot before folding his arms. ¨Now explain to me what are we doing here and how it benefits Vacuo?¨ He would ask. He figured that the mission was only the two of them. Considering when he first ran into Garrot that he was working alone, Kai had no idea that the duo was actually a full 4 man squad. Nor that students would be involved. If he knew, a different tune would be singing right now.

Garret did not have to wait long for someone to arrive. It started with the sound of an engine steadily getting louder, the air almost seeming to have a bit of anticipation. Garret remained calmly where he was; he didn't know if it was who he was waiting for, or someone else, so there was no need to really do anything. He would just have to wait and see. Sure enough, the roar of the engine would only grow louder until it came around to the back of the academy. Soon after, rather than continue on, the engine would begin to die down in sound as the bike slowed to a stop. It was an impressive looking vehicle, even for someone like Garret who had a distaste for that kind of technology normally. What was more interesting to him was the figure on the back. They seemed suited up in a black and white armor, something he was completely unfamiliar with. Part of him wondered if it was the Hound or someone else entirely. That is, until the helmet was removed. Blond hair and emerald eyes were revealed; Garret didn't even need to see anything else to know how it was. Right out the gate, as was usual for the Hound, he would make this about who the better huntsman was. A bit of an inverse in his relation with Dove, the competition between the Hound and himself did not necessarily revolve around mutual respect but the desire to one up the other to show who was the best of Vacuo. Even with his smirk Garret didn't let the comment phase him; it was why he had given the man the nickname of the Hound given how much he barked. 'It shall be interesting to see how he takes this, and if I shall best him again.' Garret thought to himself silently, remembering their last match. Though he didn't quite get the best performance he could have. He would get off the bike and approach Garret with arms folded, asking why they were here and how it helped Vacuo. Garret smiled his usual arrogant grin to the man.

"I thought I would invite you out of courtesy; you claimed to be the best of Vacuo when we last met, so I figured I would give you a chance to prove yourself Hound." Garret would respond now that he had the mans attention. Was it wise to respond that way? Probably not, but Garret wasn't one to back down from a fight; be it vocal or physical. Though he would adopt a bit more of a serious tone after that. "But on a more serious note, I trust you to have Vacuo's interest at heart. And I needed someone more skilled than the average student here for this mission. Perhaps not better than myself, but capable at the least." He would say, smile returning at the end. It was hard to resist challenging the man when he so readily barked. "To answer your questions on why we are here and how it helps Vacuo, I will get straight to the point. The sewers beneath beacon connect to a mine-shaft; one that leads deep into the outskirts. I have been hired to clear it of Grimm for the school and seal it to prevent further issues. But I had a better idea than that. Why seal a passage deep into the outskirts when it could be cleared, and an outpost formed?" He would pause a second to see the Hounds reaction, it probably not being a great one, but would continue before he could interject. "An outpost ran by those we trained; former citizens of Vacuo. People who could aid us in retaking our homeland that we could trust in their ability and intent. And having an outpost that deep in the outskirts...would make a good first staging ground for us to take it back." Garret would finish. He intentionally used the word we there; whether it would deter Kai or not. He waited, letting it sink in for Kai. He felt he spelled it out enough for him, but was curious on how he reacted or what he thought the long term was. In Garrets mind, having the outpost would be a good first step. It gave them a staging ground not just from vale, but deep in the outskirts. And safe passage till that point. Plus, in his mind, it gave those from Vacuo work. And a way to develop combat skills. As much as he trusted in his own skill, he knew he alone could not take Vacuo. Carve a path, yes. Revive a nation...required much more. He felt the Hound would see that as well. They both desired Vacuo back but...alone they hadn't done so yet. "I am sure either of us could carve a path through the grimm back to Vacuo, but alone we cannot revive the nation. And without others following us, it shall not live again. If it requires me to do such work for Beacon to prepare, then I shall without hesitation. Will you?" Garret would add; before or after the Hound responded to him earlier, depending. His tone once again serious and bit more grimm. And despite, what was to him light jesting with the Hound, he did respect the mans ability. Which was why he said either of the two could make it to Vacuo. But he was also being realistic in that it takes more than two people to start and hold a nation.

❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞

                                                                      For a moment he was curios what he was after. Was he after a duel? He could definitely give him that any time of the day. A smirk graced his lips. Unfortunately, the smirk would be gone once he continued. Growing more serious and having the tone to match, Kai figured he would give Garrot his full attention and take off his helmet so he could look directly into the man's eyes as much as he could. He could not simply believe words. He wanted to gauge reactions. If only his semblance could be a lie detector. Hearing his reasoning, he would scoff at the end part. Hard to believe such words when you work for such an idiot of a boss he thought to himself before his eyes cut to Garret. A "really?" look forming on his face. It was not even about who was better. Something more was at stake now. His reasoning and description of the mission was not pulling any favors. In fact, Kai was close to just leaving. Clear out the underground for Beacon? The hell that has to do with Vacuo? Before he could interject, Garret continued. Smart. His face shown he was objecting to this already so he Garret better be persuasive. As he continued, Kai's expression softened just a little. He was making this more of a mutual gain. Beacon gets something and Vacuo does too. If they trained them, then no reason to worry about them dying.

                                                                      Kai looked stress. A sigh would escape his lips. He hated to admit it but Garret had a point. Not only from what he said but from what was unsaid. What point would it be clearing a path if no one was there to help revive the nation. It takes worth, families, supplies. Favors in return. He would add on confirming his thoughts. His head would turn away disgusted. "Doing work for beacon. Same place that made a s**t show in the caves? Word gets around quick. Same place who had that little girl causing chaos attacking civilians and the military and all that other s**t that occurred.... The thought of it is sickening." He started as he would start to walk away as if he was leaving. A few steps would make the distance around 10 feet from the two before he stopped. He seemed defeated. Turning around he would charge towards Garret with silver ultimatum unsheathed in his hand. A threatening charge but he did not sprint but only power walked. Once close to Garrot and in his face, his fist tightened around the hilt of his blade, he would finally give his answer. "FINE. However, if it ends up being a front. If we end up just being used. Or help takes too long. I doing it my way. And if it has to be the radical route in order to get our home back. I will do it. Even if it means I have to cut you down and your little manager to do it...But for now, we will play nice" He commented before sheathing his blade and backing away. "So, LETS get this over with. I sure you was not dumb enough to have students accompany us."

                                                                      occ:

~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~
Sasselia was unsure whether to consider the headmaster to be crazy... Or too giving on second chances. She had messed up horribly on her first ever important mission, and it was all too soon to have been acquired once more. The blue haired maiden was unsure what to make of anything, when she had been summoned once more, there had been confusion. What sort of mission was required of her exactly? She could not fathom for the life of her. One mistake, and she had ever since been paranoid of expulsion. That line of thinking had stuck to her like glue, the paranoia on her shoulders making things hard to focus upon. Studying was the least of the worries, with relaxation a priority. The water festival had certainly brought that along, the water fight having been delightful. Such a lively spectacle had done wonders, ebbing off that stress for the most part. The surety she attained from the small R&R had helped... Until the morning she had been picked to participate in another mission. How could she possibly say no? There wasn't too many details given on the mission itself. Who knew? Perhaps she was about to help an old lady cross the street? Sasselia could certainly wonder, but this was not about to be the option. Why had he picked her exactly?
"Certainly there are others more suited than I..."
Despite the nervousness, the young woman had showed up regardless, with gravityflux holstered. Overnight, she had been sure her family's ointment was set, and both sets of shotgun bullets were set. "I still... Am unsure why I w-was asked to do this..." Sasselia grew nervous, drawing near to the meeting spot. Based on the intel she had, there were going to be people she had no idea of, as well as the well known Garret Revely. Personally, this was about to be a first meeting on such an occasion. She had heard a few minor tidbits from time to time, as well as his name given out prior to the summons. Only now could she wonder what sort of person they were like. Finding out was only a step away. However, when she was about to arrive, her body froze to the two already there. "H...Him!?"
Red hues of shock, Sasselia's eyes had rested upon the familiar blonde from the tea shop and festival. To see one handsome man speaking to another she knew, she had to guess the other was Garret. "K-kyah!" Going a little flustered, it hadn't been long before she had become in ear shot of their conversation, that flustered persona becoming one of utter disdain. Before she could stop herself, she was looking at Kai with her response, attempting on a neutral expression. "E-excuse me, but maybe l-looking around your surroundings before saying such rude remarks would be more advised!" Practically resisting to hide the hurt in her eyes, she simply turned to Garett, bowing politely in greeting. "G-good day. I do hope I was on a more practical t-timing... S-Sasselia Argenia. I-I take it you are sir Garrett Revely. I... Hope to be a wonderful companion." Raising from her bow then, that nervous fidgit she had come into possession, clearing her throat. "I am honestly s-surprised I was summoned... P-please treat me well to your abilities. I am unsure of our final member, but I do not mind waiting." Finally, her glance turned to Kai once more, raising her head a little. "He.. He said I needed to grow a backbone the last we spoke..." Squeezing her hands, she finally spoke again. "It is rude to call somebody you just met with such a comment on their intelligence."
Ylva had remembered the headmaster of Beacon calling her to his office. This was nothing new to her though...she was known to challenge her team leader for control. After all, he was not seen as her alpha yet. So, there had been times when the young wolf would go and talk to the Beacon "alpha". This day would be different though, he had told her of a mission...a special one that dealt with caves (hearing it made her think of home). "Who all is assigned?" Ylva had asked with suspicion. At hearing two adult hunters and one other student, she would tilt her head, perplexed before becoming thoughtful. Autrux would provide her with dust of her choice for the mission as well (she would choose 3 fire). "This must be more serious than they played it off to be." Ylva pondered as she remembered the report of the Ursa in the bathrooms a while back. She had looked back at the bird headmaster and nodded. "Very well, I will do it." The petite wolf agreed, making sure to get her gear for the mission.
And so, she was sent to meet the rest in the back of the school. The petite young woman walked calmly, not sure if she was late of early, but it was not a true concern. As she walked, the soft clinking sound the chain ring against the thick metal shackle around her neck could be heard before she would turn the corner. What her large obsidian eyes would fall upon were giants; even the young blue-haired maiden. But one thing was clear to her upon first laying eyes and scent on them...They were all humans. This should be interesting, she thought, approaching without a word.
What they would see approaching would be a small, slight-hourglass figured yet lean-muscled wolf faunus with a double-bladed spear in her left hand. Lightly tanned skin, thick hair of ebony pulled back in Vacuo-style, and a blue dress and stockings of handmade tribal design, red ring on her middle right finger and leather travel boots. Light sandy wolf ears twitched slightly to a position of caution, her tail swaying in much the same language as she continued to observe them before speaking.
"Two males...both calm but, blond looks annoyed, raven seems confident. Female seems a bit uncomfortable." Ylva noted by reading the three. Once she was recognized though, the wolf faunus armed with swords sheathed in an "X" as well as chakrams on either hip would bow ever-so slightly, respectfully. "Hello." Ylva greeted simply. Unless asked, she would not give her name at this time it would seem as she looked to the humans calmly, almost stoicly. "Well, this shall be interesting." Ylva thought wryly, though she was intrigued by the spears on Raven, Sun seemed armored and ready, and Blue Maiden seemed to be ready with an impressive glaive weapon; she had to admit, this might be good. But, why humans?...
Garret was glad that he had decided to continue more in depth, and preface things with the worst explanation first. His look of disbelief at the thought of doing it had changed to objection, but Garret wasn't done. He would continue and turn things to how it benefited Vacuo. How this would be a mutual gain on both ends, cause he couldn't claim it was solely Vacuo. While Vague, he wasn't about to lie to the guy. That would only make things end badly. Unlike Kai though, Garret was more open to favor for a favor and mutual gain; he knew they had to work with others if they wanted Vacuo back. And to maintain it. Despite knowing how many people dislike Aurtrox, he also knew Aurtrox on a more personal level and his hate from grimm. They both lost a lot to the grimm, so if anything pushed them back they were of the same mind. So Garret was sure Vacuo coming back would align with that. He seemed to have an effect, of sorts, as the Hound's expression softened just a tiny bit. Though Garret knew not if it was enough. He would let out a sigh, before speaking of all the stuff that had happened recently in beacon. At least the ones that got on the news. The caves mission being mentioned, one he was sad he did not go on as he felt he could've had an impact on the results. And of the student who had seemed to go crazy and attack the town at random. All valid points to not like beacon, from the outside. 'But this is the same place that trains people who become huntsman and huntresses, our first defense against the grimm. And our only offense.' Garret thought to himself, but did not speak for now. The hound would, as soon as he finished, turn and walk away. Garret just watched him for now. If he left, he left. He could handle this on his own with the students that would be provided. But he was curious if his words had any impact on him. The Hound was very much bark most times, so he was curious if this was more of that or if he would actually go. The hound only got about ten feet away from Garret before he stopped. Not getting hopes up for now, Garret had his arms crossed and watched to see what would happen. Figuring it was the turning point in the mans mind; does he stay or go. He almost seemed a bit defeated. He would turn and unsheathe his weapon, charging towards Garret with a power walk. Garret did not budge or move from the challenge, having his aura up in case, but also because he knew for this initial attack he wouldn't be able to draw his spear in time. And he trusted, despite how bad-mouthed the Hound was, he wouldn't strike him unarmed. That he would want to prove his superiority with what starts off as a fair fight at least, even if it doesn't stay as one.
The Hound wouldn't stop till he was right in Garrets face, but did not strike him yet. He would, with great effort it seemed, consent...but mentioned at the first sign that it proves the trust was misplaced, he would not hesitate to do things his way. Or to event cut Garret down and Aurtrox. Garret kept a straight face for once, not going to his usual arrogance as he responded. "Deal. If it seems like we will not get our end of the deal, you are free to act as you see fit. Though if your actions ever endanger Vacuo as well, I will not hesitate to do the same." Garret would speak, entirely serious and expression neutral. While he knew the hound believed himself to always have Vacuos interests at heart, his last response to Garret warranted one in return. Zeal was good, until it was too much and became detrimental. Garret wasn't going to let the ideal of independence prevent Vacuo from ever rising again. He would sheathe his blade and back away, saying they should get to it and that he was sure Garret wasn't unintelligent enough to have students accompany them. A smirk appeared on Garret's lips at that; mostly at the thought of how he would react when he let him know that there would be students. Before he could speak though, the duo would find one of the aforementioned students speaking up. 'Perfect timing.' Garret thought to himself. While the girl had surprised him, as he turned to face her, it was not unwelcome. Her words, while not exactly the most confident, was amusing the loner as she scolded the hound. It would be very interesting to see how he responded. Golden eyes would study the student; noting the long cerulean blue hair, red eyes, short stature (in comparison to them at least), and her weapon in particular. Eyes towards her weapon, he would give a slightly approving nod and smile. While he was a spear user, he did like weaponry with reach much more than others. Even if he was only good with spears. She would, surprisingly to him, bow and politely introduce herself. Seeming to already know who he was, not too surprising since he worked at the academy and Aurtrox likely let her know, as well as her saying he hoped to be a good companion. 'A rare formality; I wonder if she knows Dove?' He idly wondered to himself as she would rise from her bow, explaining that she was unsure why she was summoned and for him to treat her well. Also mentioning that she did not mind waiting, likely due to what Kai had also said of moving on. She would then turn to the Hound and claim it was rude to insult ones intelligence, to which Garret suppressed a laugh. Not knowing the relation of the two, he just found it amusing she would stick up for him to the Hound. "Thank you, but it is hardly the first time he has done so or that we have met. 'Tis why I call him the Hound." Garret would respond to her, revealing his nickname for the man mostly to see if it would irk him or not. Just because the man relented and agreed did not mean he would get any special treatment from Garret.
Before he could introduce himself though, he would hear the sound of clinking metal. Turning his head, he would see a petite faunus that he assumed was a wolf coming to them. Shorter than the student currently besides them. Ebony hair, wolf ears and tail, obsidian eyes and she seemed armed to the teeth. The weapon that particularly caught his eyes was a dual bladed spear in her left hand; another weapon he could appreciate given his own. Despite her petite figure, he did notice that she seemed lean-muscled and lightly tanned; perhaps a fighter, or someone who at least was often times outside more than in. She seemed a bit...cautious as well. Which wasn't too surprising to Garret given the height of the Hound and himself. She would give a slight bow and give a simple greeting of hello. "To answer your questions, these two students will be accompanying us as a learning experience for them. Aurtrox saw it fit they learn under people more experienced with grimm than just with their teams. And, given this was a task meant for students to complete a long time ago, it is fitting some students come to see what happens when the Grimm are left to their own devices." He would answer the question of why then in a serious tone, though didn't go into exact details as he did not know them or why Aurtrox chose them specifically. Giving his own interpretation of the reason as well, as this would be good to show why they should actively hunt grimm. He didn't feel he needed to add it was due to negligence of students or the Ursa in the bathroom to the Hound for now; if he wanted more details he could say so after.. "Our mission is to clear the sewers beneath beacon, and the caves that extend past it, of Grimm and temporarily seal it so no more grimm may enter. While initial reports were of Beowolves, it seems that this may have changed." He would say, getting straight to the point of the mission first so everyone would be on the same page and understood what was to come to plan for it. He would pause a moment, to let it sink in, before continuing. "With that out of the way, introductions are in order if we are going to be descending together. I am Garret Reveley. You are?" He would say, treating this as a formal type of greeting for now, as he looked to the wolf faunus specifically. While Sasselia had introduced herself recently, he felt it best the other two do so for the new student. Though if Kai didn't volunteer anything Garret would say he was know as the hound. For now, Garret was being serious. He didn't want information to be muddled by misinterpretations or anything.
❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞
                                                                      The agreement was made and done. He expected such an answer from Garret. If that mean one of them had to die in order to get Vacuo back, he was damn sure he was going to make it Garret who would be the sacrifice. Politics can only go so far and considering everything that was against them sometimes violence wold have to be the answer. Fortunately, Kai had not been driven that far at all. Considering there were council from Vacuo has eased his mind a little. It did not give him hope at all. In an attempt to get this done, he suggested they go ahead but it seem he underestimated Autrox again. His face would say it all as he had no response from Garret. Before he could scold, he would receive a surprise scolding. Looking at the woman who spoke up for herself, he would have a smile play on to his lips. Almost as if it was one of approval. "Ohhh, this.... I can deal with. Guess I get to see first hand what you can do. Hopefully keep the damage to a minimum this time" He retorted before folding his arms. "However, it seems my words are actually sticking in your head. Good" What did he mean by that? He told her take s**t from no one, not even him. She was a team leader. Act like it. While he could of commented on her look, he was actually fooled a little by her putting on a neutral expression. It was not crying so he felt was good in his book. He did not think he hurt her or truly felt a deep care since she was learning. Maybe one day she can be uncaring as him. Maybe.
                                                                      He paid no mind as she introduced herself to Garrett but his attention was snatched back as she took another jab at Kai. "Possibly my dear. However, I unfortunately have history with this idiot. He just lucky I can stand his arrogance" Kai commented. I like it. Yo are growing a little. Just long as yo do not apologize for your words and wash it all away yo are good" he thought to himself. Garret responded as well making sure Sass knew that their words were okay. They were not best friends. They were......something. He was not sure how to word it. Vacuo brothers? Survivors? Warriors? Something. "I guessing another student....oh well" He commented as they waited for the next person to show. Looking over his supply, he had 3 fire dust, 3 hard light dust, and 2 wind dust. They will have to work he thought to himself as he would go over the 3 large dust crystals. It was ice, hard light, and plant? Weird preferences. A hello would grant his attention. Looking at Ylva, a sigh release from his lips. The hound would bark.
                                                                      "To cap it off.... This is going to be great" He commented with a rude unwelcoming tone. She is so petite. She is going to get mauled by grim.... Damn he commented in regards to her appearance. They were going to have to work together no? "At least, he was smart enough to get a faunus... Hope you two are ready. Unlike this idiot I not going to be baby sitting during this. If a grim is too strong, be smart. Don't die." he warned. They probably was going to strategics first before going in but he had to get that off his chest. He knew Sass probably be okay since he heard about the military mission. However, he knew nothing of Ylva and had no reason to think that she actually could be an asset besides her ability see in dark like other faunus.
~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~

From the looks of things, the choice of intervening between the men had been wise. Intended on letting it out of sight, out of mind... There was no forgetting Kai approaching Garret with such a pace of aggression. As much as she could holster back from that notice, Sasselia could at least brush it off... Only just a little at least, for an attempt. Only had she approached them, with an added spunk of her own opinion, had there been conclusion on neither party actually fighting. Still, there was going to be that wonderment on whether he had actually been about to fight or not. Sasselia had only spoken to Kai once before, so there was uncertainty on a way to pin out a solution. One contradiction however, had been the tail end of the conversation she had walked into. Why was Vacuo mentioned? Only from Garret speaking about the deal they made, and the word Vacuo, had been what she caught wind of. Was the head master requests related in some way? For now, she had to press those speculations of interest out of her subconsciousness. The approach enough towards them had been enough to distract from those thoughts, taking note of the smile Kai was tossing her way. "A-ah!?" More so thinking the thought, rather than saying it aloud, she only had taken in those green eyes and smile with a fluster, having to look away from him in a heartbeat. "Y-yes I have been... R-really trying to work on things." That was the case, to say the least. Small steps were the best, most effective way she had found to go. As much as she could try, it wasn't easy to change ones self so easily. To show some progress was better than showing no progress at all. She herself could feel fortunate she was able to for that moment. Standing between two handsome men, who made her feel like a shrimp, keeping that vibe was impossible. That was especially so, when rumours of her previous mission could easily have spread against her wishes to the ears of those present. Kai knew about it... But what of the other two? Such reminder had her casting her eyes away from them both, but only until they had spoken once more.

"A-a hound?" What sort of nickname was this, truly? Returning her gaze to Garrett, she was able to take in the details of his face. Like Kai, he had his own charm. Unsure at first on whether or not to take anything into a full on stride, Sass could only take note they had spoken before. "It sounds as if their previous encounter was most uncouth..." Bringing a smile to her face, she tossed a small chunk of her hair over her shoulder, before playing with some of her hair in her hands in shyness. "I-it sounds like you b-both of you had quite the u-unique encounter on your last endeavours. I certainly hope it wasn't too much of a conflict!" By their tone, it was noticeable they were tolerable to one another. That was good. The young woman herself hoped their fourth member of the group would be just as fun to have an encounter with. She was rather curious who would be next. The sounds of clinking metal closing in their way had brought her attention forward. "I-is someone dragging heavy equipment?" Turning her head towards the newcomer, to her surprise, the next arrival was a faunus with a shorter height than she. From the gear, they were certainly ready to walk into combat. A spear for a weapon grasped in her hand, that brought the number of people potentially specialised in mid ranged combat to three. Having noticed Garret's own weapon, that much could be concluded. That wasn't the object of interest however. Dressed in beautiful tribal clothing, the odd accessory of a metal shackle around her neck was the outshine. She of course, made sure not to rudely stare, more so enchanted with the tail and ears the faunus possessed. "What a lovely warrior." So petite in size, but clearly there was something more. It was the eyes of the faunus that lured her curiosity. The gaze they possessed gave a question on whether they had fought before or not. She was no mind reader, and certainly would have no true amount of knowing, but the eyes did not match the petite body. They weren't casting any sort of softness to pick up on.

"Ack!"

Bowing in return to the wolf faunus in greeting, her head had turned up sharp toward Kai. Why was he scrutinising in such a rude matter for a welcome? Did he perhaps have a thing against the faunus? No... Such an assumption had left her mind immediately. There was no way of jumping to such a sensitive conclusion such as that. That was confirmed wrong as it was, by the silver lining of his words revealing there was a faunus on their team at all. Garrett was proving to be the opposite of the spectrum based on welcoming, explaining in better detail as to why either of them were there. A reasonable amount of words for her to approve of. "A learning experience is truly obtained out of all of this as an ideal? I certainly hope we can provide to the task. Beowolves as a starter of the course for information is a bit disheartening. I certainly hope we do not encounter a full on den of them. He claimed there to be more... So caution is in store. The sewers of all places..." Thinking this all out to herself as Garret spoke in detail, her mindset was processing all the information she was able to comprehend into one entity. The idea of going through the sewers, just to get to the cavern point of interest... A thought had crossed her mind from that. "Had anyone brought proper lighting? Should our young companion possess night vision.. I do not wish to impose on relaying that responsibility to them." There was her scroll she could use at least, which gave some comfort. Of course, with all of this thought processing, Sasselia had almost missed the current change of topic to more proper introductions. Garret introduced them self, giving the floor to Ylva, should she choose to give her name as well. Awaiting for the young wolf to respond, Sasselia had her turn afterwards, once they were done.
"Pleased to meet you, I-I am Sasselia Argenia, and I look forward to working alongside you for this mission. From your weaponry, I am guessing you possess wonderful abilities with experience! I-If I am incorrect I apologise for jumping the gun." Laughing in shyness, she smiled towards Ylva once more, before going silent. "I do not wish to be overstepping my boundaries on the conduct of speech. I do hope they had no mind of it either."

Ylva's obsidian eyes would take in each and every one of the humans that stood before her, quietly taking note of each one's personality before looking to the tall raven spear who chose to speak, mentioning it was a mission posted way earlier, she frowned as this was the first time she was hearing of it. "To be fair, this is the first heard of the issue..." Ylva replied sincerely confused, tilting her head slightly at him. "How come no one ever addressed it..." Ylva pondered this before she would turn her attentions to the blond, Sun.

Glaring slightly at his faunus remark.
"Since I'm the only one able to see in the dark...I'm technically babysitting you." The petite wolf responded; hard to tell if she was serious or jesting but, it was obvious she was not impressed with him. "He is brash, but, might be good...We shall see," Ylva thought before looking towards Blue; or Sass as she called herself. She liked the name, the wolf decided and bowed to the young woman slightly.

Ylva's tail would wag ever-so-slightly, feeling the girl was less of a threat for now and her nervousness giving the wolf girl a sense of protectiveness for her. It was almost...cute, she figured. In hearing the Reveley name, her ears perked, eyes widened slightly. For as long as she could remember, the Clans were told the noble family had been wiped out...This was a surprise indeed. She would calm herself and then turn to them all and bow slightly as she introduced herself.
"Ylva Sylvia, future Elder of Clan Rosenberg, of the Tribe Yowlumne. Kingdom Vacuo," Ylva introduced herself with an air of confidence and certainty. Standing with back up with a serious expression for one so young. "As for abilities, you are not wrong. All tribe members are taught and train with our weapons of choice since the age of 8 springs." Ylva confirmed politely.

Garret was surprised to hear the hounds reaction from the first student that joined them. By his words, he seemed to know this student personally. Which was interesting to know given his dislike, to put it mildly, for the school and its headmaster. Seeing the smile and apparent approval on the man was something else Garret had rarely seen. 'Interesting. I wonder how far this relation stretches.' Garret thought to himself with a slight smile playing his own lips. Not truly caring if the Hound noticed or no. He seemed eager to what she could do, though would mention keeping damage to a minimum and hoping his words stuck for her. 'Is she an apprentice of his?' He wondered further, but had little else to go on. Though he gave the two a curious look; obviously wondering what their familiarity and hints stemmed from but Garret would not push that for now. He wanted to see how it played out. She seemed unable to meet his eyes, but would confirm that she had been trying to work on things. More questions he would not seek answered to quite yet. Even after introducing herself and commenting on the Hound's manners he seemed to take it in stride; saying he had an unfortunate history with Garret and that he was lucky he could stand Garret's arrogance. To which he would get an amused chuckle from Garret at his description of him. He wasn't wrong about the arrogance at least; Garret was surprised most of all they had this tenuous relation between one another. As Sasselia would seem confused by the hound nickname, and Kai went to focus on dust, Garret would clarify for her. "I call him the Hound because he is more bark than he is bite. Despite his words, he is a capable fighter and ally...most of the time." Garret would say, smiling at the last part as he didn't want to inflate Kai's ego too much. He assumed the girl would realize why he used the analogy like he did; when he said bark, he meant that Kai liked to bad mouth others but thats about as far as it went. Or so Garret thought at least. Sasselia would then comment how they had a unique encounter, and that she hoped it wasn't too much conflict. Garret chose to stay silent on that bit for now though. While their encounter was full of conflict, verbal and physical. it was much more to the grimm when it came to the latter. But that was something that could be addressed later for it. He would give Sasselia a smile at the words and look to the hound then back to her with a slight shrug; how she interpreted that was up to her.

As Garret explained the situation he would also keep an eye on the members of this temporary team to see their reactions. Beside Kai, the students at least didn't seem to brush it off. The wolf one even asking questions, though he wasn't going to be answering them quite yet. He wanted to finish everything first so the questions would be together rather than all apart. Even if her comment was less a question and more to say she had no idea this was an issue. Before he could respond after his explanation though, he would hear the Hound decide to bark. From his tone he could already tell how it was going to go; any kindness or softness for Sasselia seemed to have left now that the other student was here. He commented on Aurtrox at least getting a faunus, hoped they were ready cause he was not baby sitting them, and that they were on their own essentially. Calling Garret an idiot like usual but it was a word that held little sway when it came from the Hound. He had figured he was gonna be like this, though from experience he was doubting the mans sincerity. 'At least in regards to Sasselia.' He thought to himself. He doubted he had much good will with Kai, though he wasn't sure he would leave him to die. Though as the wolf faunus replied to his greeting, a smile would play Garret's lips as he looked to her approvingly.Taking it as her being serious and not backing down to him. Garret could respect that. 'It seems Aurtrox is teaching them to stand up for themselves.' He thought to himself, though he had no idea if it was him or their own upbringing. Besides a few students, he did not interact with most of them or even that often with the ones he knew. Though...Garret was surprised by her reaction to his own introduction. While her tail had been wagging before, he knew not why, at the mention of his own name her ears would perk and eyes widen. 'Do I have a reputation among the students?' He wondered silently to himself. Though he would maybe get an answer as she bowed and introduced herself...saying a specific name he had not expected to hear. 'Yowlumne...Aurtrox was this intentional or by accident...' Garret wondered to himself silently. It had not been long ago, maybe a day or so, when he had inquired about allies and Xcoutal had said that tribes name. Garret idly wondered if it was fate, destiny, or blind luck he had found one already without trying. She seemed very confident in herself and introducing herself as one at the least.

Before he could pursue that line of questioning, Sasselia would introduce herself and seemed happy to be working with the wolf. The wolf answering her comment by saying her tribe began training them in their preferred weapon by the age of eight. Not much different from Garret's own upbringing. Seeing as their was a temporary pause, with Kai not volunteering his name, Garret would speak up while looking to Ylva. "He is Kai." He would start simply, pointing a thumb over to the blond, and deciding not to say his nickname for the moment. She would hear enough of it later on anyways. "As for being the first to hear of it, I am not surprised. I do not believe you were here when it was first put up; those who were choosing not to take it." He would say as a simple response; more so blaming the students who had been here longer for it being neglected. And not really feeling like explaining it more than that. Mostly because the school was already paying the price with the incident they had and he didn't need to give the Hound more ammunition. "I will admit I did not expect to have one from the Yowlumne tribe here. It shall be interesting to see how one of their own fares in battle as you are the first I have met." He would say with respect and a hint of...a challenge/ anticipation in his voice. As if he hoped she would prove her tribe to be as good as the name implied. With that much out of the way, and many thoughts running to his mind, he would move on with something basic they should get out of the way. "I see your weaponry, and can guess at which you may be most natural with, but I know not your abilities other than Kai. If we are to fight together, it is best if we know what to expect from one another so we do not hinder each other." He would explain with a calm smile and pause before continuing. "While this may be a learning experience, the grimm will not see it as such. Treat this mission as if your lives depend on it, as it very well may. Once we are down there, there shall be no going back. To start, as may be clear, I am a spear fighter." Garret would explain, a bit more neutrally than Kai had earlier, before taking out his spears.

Holding Virtue in his left hand, he would begin to spin Heir in the other. Showing off? Maybe a bit, but it was a good way to show the others how capable he was with his weaponry. "Both of them at once to be precise. Care to explain your own fighting style, Hound?" Garret would say as he stopped, spear pointed straight at Kai. He didn't see the need to waste his own semblance by showing that off for now, nor the need to mention it. His worked fine to be seen later. And if they kept each others fighting styles in mind, they should be fine. Or so he thought at least. He was mentioning Kai specifically at least so he at least got a response from him of yes or no, though at least saying what they could do (if not demonstrate) was implied by Garret's earlier words for the two students.

❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞

                                                                      Sassellia really was trying to be a hard worker? Cute. Of course Kai did not care to fill Garret in on any details. His own smile was probably betraying Garret. Something so rare and yet so easily given in Sass's company. It was only because he was having his ego inflated a little. When a pupil listens and does not make it to where you have to beat it within them, it was always good for a teacher. Garret was on the right track, for now. He was not able to give her lessons yet, but she was learning from their first meeting and that same fire could grow more and more. Who knows, maybe she can get her team in shape and she can show she is the head b***h of SKRA. Probably unlikely though. As for the deeper correlation, the hound was not going to get that information. He had no reason to give him that nor would he need to know it. He knew he made comments about her previous mission but he left them vague for a reason. A promise was a promise. While he was bending a little, he gave no specifics. Meaning there was no evidence to trace it to any specific thing.

                                                                      Being called a Hound, Kai took it with pride. Garret was a fool but he should know better than to underestimate Kai's bite. That was for sure. As for the new woman's arrival, well she seemed to have an interesting rebuttal. A side eye would be given before he looked away. She had night vision. She had a point, but he was not going to let her know that. "Whatever" he commented as introductions went. They would introduce themselves and it seem the two girls would get along nicely. His interest only grew in the faunus when he heard about where she was from and her tribe. Either Fate is funny or you had this planned from the start Garret. Or is there another force working here Knowing this information he was actually going to introduce himself but Garret would beat him to it. It did not slip his mind about Sassellia's comment. About their past adventures. He ignored it on purpose. To get side tracked by a grim like that was so embarrassing.. Definitely was not their proudest moments!

                                                                      After being introduced and hearing of the situation, a chuckle escaped his lips hearing about how the situation got so bad. "Not only he can't teach students correctly with his hand pick staffed he has a school of cowards who avoid a challenge? Now wonder issues occur with these missions. What next a huntsmen going to go missing?" He bashed with glee. The irony of the statement unknown to Kai cause he did not know about the Reikka situation. Hearing strategy being spoken about, Garret went first. He was a spear fighter. Obviously! But it seemed that was all he brought to the table. Showing off, he would point towards Kai. Oh, this was like Atlas academy all over again. "My weaponry with is blades. Sword. Kuntai, and string for traps. I am not limited to my blades range for fighting. So stay out my way if I am targeting something. If not, you will get hit" he commented before making a slash and shooting an aura slash toward the side of the school. Yes, he just caused property damage to beacon. However, screw beacon! It would be okay. Sheathing back his blade after showing off the range capability and his aura slash. The side of the building would have a slash mark similar to if a grim was trying to claw its way in.

                                                                      "As for my semblance... it's a lot more complicated and honestly none of your business. I will say this. If your aura cannot heal you or you get gravely dangered I can serve as a medic. I rather not waste my aura doing so though. I rather be slaying grim than waste my time patching you up" He informed with honesty. He then would look at the two students. "Sassellia. What can you do?"

~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~
An occurrence of similarity was taking place all too close to comfort, to say the least. The origins of detailing towards the sewers were in a grey area for Sass, and it would seem apparent that Ylva was in the same voice. She had freely proven so by speaking with clear confusion. "That would make two of us hearing of this..." With a small gulp, Sasselia could only hope for everything to go smooth. So far, to her, it was coming off rather choppy, which should have been expected. Ylva's comment towards Kai had brought some light of amusement at least, rather fond of how crystal clear, and how direct to the point she was on the matter. Kai had made a simple response in return, more swelling with pride to the nickname received from Garrett. Strange as it was, it was a better thing to see, rather than anymore potential fighting. If only she could have kept the surprise off her face, when it had dawned on her that Gerrett’s last name stroke the realization of from Vacuo. ”Why… Hadn’t I noticed that moments ago when he had said his surname to us?” She should have noticed that from a book she had read years ago, but the details had slipped past her. Too late to go more formal now! Such nobility among the three of them, from Vacuo to boot, had her remain silent on that important bit of information. The reasoning behind her aimed towards a case of mistaken identity, based on the said mental assumptions. Potentially he could have been nobility... She could even be wrong, now that she had thought about it more. Garrett had never thrown a title of sorts into anything, aside from what he had called Kai. Jumping to conclusions would only mess with her mind from the uncertainty. For now, she had to force herself to brush it aside, and leave it for another time to wonder. If not, the wonderment would only distract her from the task at hand. Wondering on the lives of others intrusively was just rude in the first place.
Focusing back onto the topics at hand, Ylva had introduced herself. Having expected only Kai, and Sasselia herself, to be from Vacuo, what she had heard was a bit coincidental. Ylva was from Vacuo as well? She was somewhat informative about the Yowlumne tribe, but only in the name alone. To have the chance now to be meeting one of the tribesmen from her homeland was a complete blessing. ”Three past Vacuo citizens…. Is there a possible forth?” Such was a potential case, having no idea she was right on the mark. Formal and polite, Sasselia was catching a sense of inner strength from the young wolf, keeping in mind to be aware of her own mannerisms, as the tribal folk varied on their cultures, and their ways of life. What an age to learn to wield a weapon! Quite young! She herself had been taught only partially, but perhaps through this mission she could take the chance to watch a much more accomplished fighter in action, and take a note or two! Before she could make a comments as such, her attention had been shifted towards the two gentlemen, who were clearly blaming the school for one thing or another, Kai being much more blunt on the matter than Garrett. ”N-not everyone is a coward. I-it is unfortunate many h-had turned away from the option, but isn’t it wise to have had the chance of two being brought into it regardless? I am sure… Th-that you are both capable fighters… H-however… I’I am sorry, but having extra numbers in unknown territory sounds more fitting than having just two professionals, who could very well fall into something harmful. Th-that is just much as the most novice fighters out there have the chance of doing! The schools can only do so much, and the rest l-lies on the people who make her choices. It is alright to be afraid, as we are all still young. I can only say this on a p-projection of my opinion on the matter… Feel what you wish… B-but I agree to disagree.” More defending hers and Ylva’s case on the matter, she had immediately gone silent, looking away with a bit of a brooding pout. Why did blame for failure out there towards the huntsmen and huntresses, be directed towards the academy? It may have a lot to do with the growing, but the results in the end were always on how one chose to follow with the knowledge given. That was a firm belief she possessed, one that her whole life was riding upon as it was.
It was because of it all had she went silent for the time being, rather appreciated that Garrett had kept the conversation line going towards abilities and weapons. Kai and Garrett already knew each other’s abilities, but neither women had any idea about them. Garrett had went first, fashioning his spear with a very graceful spin, giving away his explanation on being able to dual wield both spears. There were no hints on his semblance. When it was Kai’s turn, he had spoken on his abilities, warning them there was no limiting of range with his blades. On the matters of his semblance, the same amount of mystery from their first meeting at the tea shop, adding an unnecessary amount of commentary on the avoidance of healing someone harmed. Am shame, since medics on the field were important to any battle. Now… It was her turn.
Jumping a little to her name, she stepped forward, gripping her weapon with both her hands. ”I am a glaive wielder… M-my weapon Gravityflux is able to wield also as shotguns, and become axes.” For presentation, she had twisted the weapon by the middle are, the weapon spinning a quarter turn in opposite directions. When she pulled the weapons apart, the glaives bladed ends had shifted to an axe formation, and she spun both around the backs of her hands, gripping into both hands as before, resting them upon her sides in her hands. ”My shotgun bullet’s contain dust within their cartridges, which I hope suffices, as I could only bring eight special ones… The rest of my bullets are on average parring!” Biting her bottom lip, Sass had continued on, clearing her throat to speak. ”M-my semblance obtains the ability of laying traps of gravity on the battle field…. I.. Am able to set them to either an anti-gravity setting, which allows you to float, and it’s counterpart, the gravity setting, which adds a built pressure to someone…. With a means of preventing movement.” With a nervous laughter by then, she had put her weapon back to its glaive form, sheathing the weapon once more. ”I have brought along a few first aid related items, as well as simple medical items that I do not mind assisting anyone with if the case should ever arrive… I do not mind helping to the best of my abilities! P-please do not hesitate to ask!... Ahm… I-I do not have much else to add, if Miss Ylva wishes to add anything else to her repertoire!”
Ylva looked to Sun as the one called Reveley introduced him as Kai. He will still be Sun to her. Rather than speak, she would simply nod in greeting before she would look back to Garret. Though even still, it was a surprise that a Reveley still existed; the fact that at least one was alive meant that there might be hope for getting Vacuo back open to others...She mentally shook herself. "Focus," Ylva thought sternly as he told them about the mission they were taking and that it had been up for a while. As he went on to speak of her being the first Yowlumne he'd met, she was not surprised but, smiled slightly at the slight hint of challenge she heard in his voice. He had wanted to see their abilities, that was fine, she would wait though, patiently. The wolf did not speak much though as obsidian eyes looked to him, her eyes following his skillful handling of the spear. "Wonderful, as was said of the noble family." Ylva thought before turning her attentions to Kai as he was addressed.
Ylva would only raise a slight, dark eyebrow at the tall blond's remark. Her ears would twitch as he spoke of the school. It seemed he did not have a positive outlook on the academy itself. That was understandable, to a degree.
"It's no Shadow," Ylva would comment, and that was it. Though Beacon was prized as being the best and still up, the wolf did have pride in her kingdom; despite its fall from communication. She awaited the day that their kingdom would rise again. The petite faunus would be pulled from her thoughts when the blond would list off his skills. "What's a Kuntai? Is it like a kunai?" Ylva thought, confused, and tilted her head as such. Though, he would impress her with his semblance use. "Interesting, to say the least," Ylva commented dryly before turning her attention to the young woman.
As huntresses-in-training, Sass had the wolf's interest; as she was seen as not only an ally for this mission, but also future competition. Although, in truth, she could already feel a kinship with the girl. Though from her expression earlier, it would appear that Ylva was not the only one first hearing of this issue.
"Why did they not bring this to our attentions immediately," Ylva thought, a bit disappointed she could not have done something sooner. She could not help but smile a little as Sasselia would reprimand Sun for his ill-speak of Beacon, nodding slightly as she listened. The human female was meek but, the wolf girl could feel a certain strength about her. She almost reminded Ylva of the Yowlumne's future Alpha Female; almost. Obsidian eyes turned from Kai back to Sass, her ears slightly forward as she would speak once more...after the silence at least. A glaive and gun wielder...and gravity, that made her ears perk a bit. "Intriguing," Ylva mumbled softly. "Definitely a varied bunch...Guess it's my turn now," Ylva thought before taking a deep breath.
She was not nervous; rather, the petite wolf was intrigued and impressed that the headmaster was able to bring together all of them; all, she suspected, with connection to Vacuo in one way or another. First, she would move away, just enough so as to not harm Sass or the trained huntsmen she was with. As she looked to each of them in turn, the young tribeswoman would skillfully twirl Ulv Lofte above her (the chain lightly clink as she did this); the blades shifting/ transforming from spears to scythes and back before she held it at her side once more.
"Along with seeing in the dark, my skills lie with duel-weapon wielding, two-handed weapons, stealthy step, and thinking on my feet," Ylva informed them calmly. She would then continue with a bit of a warning. "As for semblance...it's best you not to spook me; or else you will be blinded." Ylva would conclude with a bow of her head. She would then look to Garret to lead; he was de facto leader in this case...or so Autrux told her.
