History
Sigilinde was named on the day of her adoption. She likes it well enough, but Zeeg is so much easier to say. Her sister gave her the nickname and slowly her persona has grown around it. Her sister, Kriemhild, or Krie, also gave her the item which defines her, a ring of solid silver fashioned into two snakes biting the other's tail, a knot made of the ouroboros.
She has lived the life of a privileged, upper middle class and very well-off child from Belosh. With resources seemingly vast enough to support any sort of life she could want, she strikes out on her own to make her own way through the world. She starts at Sanctuary. And on from there, who knows?

Background: Zeeg's earliest memories involve her adoption into a well-off merchant family. Though she remembers being upset to leave those she loved, she has mainly happy memories in her adoptive home. Recently, the discrepancy has led her to wonder what really makes a family? Happy memories? When one is upset when the memory is made, why does it fade into a happy or nostalgic tone? Will she look upon her life at Sanctuary as her new happy memory? What will make up that memory? Happiness or tragedy? Will she become nostalgic if the latter comes to pass?
Current Location: Formerly of Belosh, she has returned to Sanctuary to live and mingle with others of her kind at school.

Sigilinde was raised by a well-off merchant family. She had all the amenities she needed and some that she wanted. She and her sister each had their own room. Zeeg's room was big enough for her bed, a desk, and enough floor space to modestly practice dance. If she was careful.
Ben. Her father is a hard-working man, running his own trading business. He's usually down by the docks of Port Darnys most of the day tracking his latest shipment. He has a great knack for picking out goods that will be highly sought after and is often gone for several days at a time. He can be rather stern with his daughters, but he believes a firm hand that punishes and rewards is important. He is awkward about showing them affection.
Tori. Her mother works from an accounting perspective of the business and makes sure everything is recorded properly. She is very good with money and is in part the reason for its success. She is awkward but receptive to affection and gives it in kind. She likes to sneak her daughters little treats and such periodically. She feels that children should not be spoiled by just their grandmothers. Mothers can do it too. The difference is she rules with the same iron fist as their father.
Krie. Her sister is about 3 years older. They share a close bond that is full of affection and support. They are each other's rock, which is far more than Krie had ever hoped for in a sister. Zeeg was supposed to be a spoiled girl's gift of a little sister, but she got much more.

Ouroboros Ring
The ring was given as a gift from her adoptive sister, Krie. She wears a matching ring around her neck. It is a silver ring with emerald eyes on one snake and sapphire on the other, symbolizing their own eye colors. The pair of snakes forms a knot with the ends of their tails, where each snake bites the other snake's tail, forming the ouroboros loop. To Zeeg this ring is like a marriage vow, even though she knows it was intended to symbolize a bond between sisters.
Journal
Not technically a gift, her journal was bought on the eve of her trip to Sanctuary. However, it holds her thoughts and symbolizes her new independence away from her parents. It remains to be seen whether she means to break away from her sister as well, as Krie followed her to Sanctuary in a gesture of solidarity.

Her home at Sanctuary is a single-room home that she shares with her sister. A bunkbed and desks line facing walls, leaving a T-shaped walkway in between. It isn't much at all but they don't need much at home. They spend much of their time outside, studying and reading in free time, or wandering the campus.
