With the discovery of a new area that might be able to sustain life out in the barrens, Homewood's council determined it was time to resurrect a predator. The bones were chosen carefully. Nothing too large - the ecosystem was still in a precarious balance - nothing that a sturdy noulicorn couldn't handle. The council's strongest lifebringers called a gathering of interested witnesses to watch the resurrection.
One noulicorn youngster woke late on the day of the resurrection and hurried to the designated area, high atop a hill inside of Homewood, overlooking the barrens below. When they arrived, what they saw was.. horrific. The hilltop was empty. The grass was stained red with blood. Something terrible happened here. In a panic, the youngster rushed back down the hill crying for help. The lifebringers were gone and there was no sign of the new predators!
They were loose in Homewood, and by the looks of what happened in that hill, they were hungry.

There is no minimum word count requirement, but posts MUST be made in-character to count.

There are two sets of prizes for this adventure! First, there are in game prizes. Characters, familiars, and items that will be earned during the adventure itself. The means to win these prizes will be announced when they show up in game. You can win a max of 1 character and 1 familiar out of the in game prizes.
There is also a roleplay participation raffle for SIX mystery predators! Each post in the roleplay is 1 raffle ticket! The form for preference lists will be posted once the predators are completely revealed.
All characters won in the event will be certed on the hunger background. Characters who participate in this event may also choose to be recerted on this background when the adventure ends!

This adventure takes place over the course of a single in-character day.
Sign-ups and stat rolling will be open for 1 week and then the adventure will begin! Remember, you can only participate with ONE character, so choose wisely!

There are 3 adventure stats.
BODY - determines how physically fit a character is. Useful for speed and strength related rolls.
WIT - determines how intelligent and perceptive a character is. Useful for spotting clues and figuring out traps.
CHARM - determines how, well... charming a character is! Useful for making allies and getting information out of NPCs.
All characters have a default of "0" in each stat.
You may choose one stat to add +1 to!
Apprentice characters get an additional +1 to any stat
Adept characters get a +2 they can add to a single stat OR +1 to any TWO stats.
