It had taken an unexpectedly long time to make the journey from Sunset Acres to Nyhpm's Pool. The lilac doe and her friends had needed to stop and marvel at every quirk in the landscape. And the to convince each other their guide wasn't about to eat them. And then to have a quick conference that whatever was waiting at the Pool probably wasn't going to eat them. The end of winter had dragged on into the beginning of a wet and drizzly spring. On one extra drizzly day, they finally arrived.

The lilac doe sucked in a long breath, looking at the Pool. "We did it ... We made it. No one ate us. We're free! We've survived being banished!" The skittish doe hopped into the air, jubilant. It had been more than a harrowing journey, but she'd done it. They were safe. Maybe. Probably.

Drift was very thankful to see the pool come into view at long last. Finally, he could be rid of these very strange little rabbits. Shaking his head, he had to remind himself they weren't even little exactly, they just had a way of making you feel huge... Maybe because they only referred to him as Mr. Giant. Anyway, he was glad they had arrived. How long did he need to stick around to make sure his task as guide was done? Should he make sure someone was here to take over, or just say bye and leave? He wanted to just be on his way, but then wondered if dumping strangers on another warren's door step without at least saying something might be rude? Was the pool even a warren? He looked around hesitantly. "Well uhhh... looks like you are here now and all that so uh, I'm just going to be on my way." Banished? They were so WEIRD. Like a ghost, the creepy blind stranger appeared next to him and gently touched a paw to Drift's fur. "Thank you wise Giant. We are very grateful to you... you will find your kindness repaid in mysterious ways." He said quietly, his one opal eye seemingly staring through him. Drift shivered, these guys gave him the willies. "Uhhhh... ok? Great." He said, not sure how you even respond to something like this. Why hadn't he just ordered someone else to take them here in the first place? The pale rabbit edged slowly to the pool, guided by the cool fresh scent of wet things. "Is it true my friends? Have we made it to the Pool?" he said, reverently putting out a paw to dab at the water as though it were something truly sacred, and sighed deeply. wc:301 twc:301

Moonbeam was drawn by a small commotion on the banks of the pool. She'd been going about her usual duties when suddenly there was quite a lot of noise. A lot of ooo-ing and ahh-ing. She hopped over to the sound and stood very still for a moment, totally perplexed. This was a lot of rabbits to show up all at once. And they looked so odd? "Hello travelers? Welcome to Nymph's Pool." She was about to start her usual spiel when a doe nearly bowled her right over.

"This is it! The Pool! Now we can live in freedom! Friends we've made it here and nothing has eaten us! Thanks to our giant guides our lives can begin anew! We've survived the banishment by the Elders, and now we are here!" She glanced as her friends, making sure they were all clear on what she was telling them.
She watched one of them dip a paw into the Pool for the first time, and nodded happily.

Redeemed Clouded Dawn had managed to round up the quintet of kits that had come to her on the banks of the pool. Once she looked them over and gave them a good sniff, she started to herd them all back to her burrow. The going was slow, mainly from the effort of keeping all the kits going in the same direction at once. She had only just got out of sight of the pool when a loud commotion arose. Clouded Dawn paused and looked back over her shoulder at the sound. The pool had been quiet and even felt secluded before, but now there seemed to be a large group of rabbits, and some of them seemed quite excited about something. She was rather curious to find out what they were so happy about. But just now might not be the best time, with the little ones to take care of... She looked back down at the kits just in time to see her little girl bound past her, heading right back towards the pool. "Tumble! Come back here!" Clouded Dawn tried to call, but the kit paid no attention. The doe signed, then herded all the other kits back after their sister. Better to keep them all together instead of leaving the four behind to chase after one. Tumble burst through a bush, then froze just on the other side, startled by the sight of a huge group of rabbits. Bounce popped through the bush a moment later, and nearly ran into his sister. Then Clouded Dawn pushed her way through the foliage, looked for the two kits and found they were in one place (and one piece), then looked up at the group. That was a lot of rabbits. Where had they come from? She and the kits just stared at the group for a long moment, taking them all in. Redeemed This... was not how he had been expecting his day to go. Yes, they got their fair number of visitors. And yes, he was on his best behavior with them. Showing them to the pool. Answering questions here and there. Kindly asking others to leave for now when they'd overstayed their visit. The usual stuff in the life of a Guardian, really.
But this?
This was a catastrophe.
Reflection did not bother to remove the glower from his features as he observed the ever growing number of visitors suddenly arriving. And not just any visitors. No, these ones were... strange. He wasn't sure why his instincts kept telling him this, but that's what he was getting. Strange. And he did not trust them. Not. At. All.... what were they doing?!
"You lot, what are you doing?" He tried to demand, hopping over to... OH. It was the Lady Moonbeam. Reflection snorted, then gave the doe a small nod of his head before returning his scowl back to the group of buns. "My lady."

Moonbeam quickly acknowledged reflection as the newcomers were caught up in the wonder of the Pool and whatever else it was they were stirred up over. "Hello Reflection. It seems we have some ... visitors. We'll need to make sure they don't spend too long before they move on."
She really wondered where they all came from. She sighed softly, listening to their chatter. Thankfully she was feeling better now ... She'd certainly not been feeling well some time ago. But she'd stayed close to her beloved Pool, and things seems to have taken a turn for the better.

Cobalt,as a grown adult buck, left his mother and sibling to go explore the land. He found himself wandering the fields not far from the Nymph's Pool and saw many other rabbits near the waters. Almost all of them strangers to him,he kept away from the commotion. The blue male came closer to the pool, keeping a fair distance from the other does and bucks in the area but still was able to overhear them talk. He got more curious as one the new does practically ran over another as she got to explore the pool. He hear them call it their new home. "So they're not from around here?"the buck thought. Shrugging it off, Cobalt plopped down in the grass as the bunnies continued on around him. (Rolling for sickness)

Sage had come along with the rest of the herd of rabbits. While he wouldn't say he didn't enjoy the trip, he certainly was glad to finally be reaching their destination. He had of course heard the rumors that went around about the Nymph's Pool, but he had never bothered to actually come to visit it. He pondered briefly the idea that perhaps there was a powerful spirit residing there that was angry at him for ignoring it. Though wasn't there a warren in the area that took care of that? He had intended to leave an offering to the pool regardless. Fully intent on doing his own thing, the dyed buck approached the pool and gingerly dipped his already wet toes in. The cool water brought about a sense of ease despite the commotion around him and he felt better already. Well, he thought he did anyway. Until he sneezed again that was. 154 words (( sick roll for Reed )) It had been business as usual for Reed before the party arrived. It was an exceptionally rainy day so he hadn't been expecting many visitors. Then the commotion started when the ragtag group reached the pool and being the responsible guardian he was, Reed came to investigate. Now, don't misunderstand, Reed was always amicable with visitors, generally enjoying seeing them and the wonder and joy the Pool brought them, but he'd never in all his days seen such a large group at once, especially one so strange. He had trouble placing just what it was, but there was *something* odd about them. Amidst the mild chaos, the buck was able to pick out a couple of familiar faces. He hopped over to join them. "Hey, uh, any idea what's with the sudden gathering?" he asked them, eyes fixed on the group in question. "Did I miss something?" 147 words 301 total

Bramble Bark had been traveling towards Nymph's pool based on some rumors he had heard. He was still trying to figure out how to shake this illness though he had not made much progress on it. Maybe someone here might know how to help if not he had hear of sightings of the strange rabbits that had come to the area. So as he came upon the nymph's pool itself and heard the commotion of course he wanted to investigate. Bramble's ears twitched with excitement so many rabbits and he had never been to the pool either. This was so exciting!!! Bramble adjusted the vine that held a few flowers and leaves to his back to make sure he didn't loose anything before he hopped strait for the crowd. "What's going on here?" Bramble asked any rabbit that would reply. Cattail had been following the waters edge up through meadowsweet to collect flowers when she decided to pay a visit to the nymph's pool. She was pleasantly unaware of the sickness that had been going on and really everything else. She was a simple doe who didn't let life get to her too much. Cattail loved two things in this world water and kits, so of course when she arrived at the pool and spotted a doe with not one but two kits she bee lined strait for the mother. "Oh my great goody goodness!! Your kits are adorable!!!" The big fluffy doe cooed at them blissfully unaware of everything else going on. She followed everyone's eyes to the group of rabbits and raised a brow what could be more important then adorable kits?Bramble WC: 140 Cattail WC: 134 Bramble Status: Infected Cattail: Healthy

Loam had been quietly working in the burrows below. It had been fairly quiet, just the way she liked it. The quiet didn't last for very long this day though. A commotion followed by lots of chatter and random excited tones made Loam sit up and shift a floppy ear.
"What on earth...." her gaze went up to the dirt roof above her head.
Loam disliked lots of noise and lots of rabbits. While her job revolved around maintaining the nymph's pool and make sure visitors came and went in a timely manner, there was usually only a few at a time. This sounded like a party. So against her better thoughts, Loam made her way to the surface and peeked out. Her eyes about fell out of the head and her jaw dropped open. It was a dang circus out here. There were so many new rabbbits, she about lost count. A familiar doe with a couple of kits was out and about, along with Lady Moonbeam and guardians. A bunch of the strangers stuck together and they appeared rather odd compared to all the other rabbits. She noticed one had no eyes and another was only missing one...not that the remaining one was any better. Loam decided to hover near the burrow entrance in case she needed to escape below. As much as she wasn't a fan of crowds, she felt that today was a day to keep an eye on the chaos. The other attendants and guardians may very well need her.WC: 256 (( I'm guessing I need to roll dice for sickness too? ))

Clouded Dawn was trying to figure out what all these rabbits were doing here when a new rabbit approached, then immediately headed towards her. She tensed, uncertain what the doe wanted with her, but relaxed when it seemed she only wanted to fawn over the kits. "Yes, I'm lucky to have them," she answered. "It seems the rumors are true that if you offer a certain stone to the pool, you'll find yourself with a litter of kits." She leaned down to nuzzle Bounce, but before she could touch him, he got bored of everything and pounced on his sister. She squeaked and rolled aside, kicking at him. The two started to wrestle, rolling and squirming around the two does' feet. WC 121 TWC: 434

Refelction's ears twitched, his hind leg thumping the ground a few times. There seemed to be more visitors appearing. He heaved a sigh, looking back at the doe beside him. "Just a few." He muttered dryly, nodding his head. "Yes, my lady." Oh he certainly intended to keep track of how long they spent at the pool! He would have it down to the last whisper of a whisker in seconds.
Gaze shifting from the growing crowd, Reflection was glad to see another guardian about. "Greetings, Reed." He snorted at the other bucks question. "It appears... some visitors have come to the pool. Suddenly. And strangely." Yes, he was quite distrustful of them all. There seemed to be something... about them? Why in the world were they so excited to be here? The buck was not used to this level of excitement when visiting their pool.
"Should we do anything? Or just standby for now?" He directed his question at Moonbeam, moving slightly to stand beside Reed as well.

Moonbeam looked over Reed and Loam, giving them both a quick nod. Clearly she needed to take control of the situation. A rock jutted from the edge of the pool, and she decided this was the perfect place to make herself known. And the will of her warren.
She carefully placed a paw on the slippery rock and hopped up. Ensuring she was stable she stretched out on her hind feet, doing her best to tower over this crowd. From her vantage point she could see just HOW many rabbits had made their way to the Pool. What on earth was going on?!?
"Hello travelers. Welcome to Nymph's Pool. We of the warren hope you enjoy this pool as much as we do, but please know that you may not stay. After you have visited, you must move on." She sent a pointed look to her Guardians. This might be the day when they had to really do their jobs. She waited for the reaction of the group, poised on her rock.

Cobalt looked up as a doe spoke. The authority in her voice proved she was the leader around here as she addressed the new comers. He lifted one of his loped over ears to hear the bunny speak. He sat up and got a better look at the strange group. One had only one eye and another was missing their eyes all together. It startled the buck as he'd never seen any bunny like that before. He kept in his little grass patch and watched the commotion.

(rolling for sickness woops) Drift perked his own ears, watching this doe leader as she addressed the weird massing of rabbits from her rock. It was quite the invasion, he could feel for her, but also who told visitors to leave? He was glad he had not led the strangers to the Arbor, but then a thought occurred. If they got sent away here, they WOULD follow him back to the Arbor. This wouldn't do at all. "Alright now, just a minute here.." He was interrupted mid objection by the strange rabbit that had touched the pool so reverently next to him. "We only seek refuge, mighty Giantess!" Seesfar cried, removing his paw from the pool and standing on hind legs to raise his paws pleadingly before him. He could not make out where the doe stood, only that her voice was before and slightly above them, and she spoke with authority. What was she saying, that they could not stay. This was not right. That is not how their story went! He had not foreseen anything like this. The Pool was foretold as a sanctuary. In every legend, it was the promised land where rabbits would be free.
Mustering all his reserves of courage, he continued loudly. "This is the Promised Pool, it is SACRED, it is our destiny! We survived the great trek to be here, why cannot we stay?" He searched around, scenting for Shale their valiant leader. She had saved them from the Giants and their yelling before, would she again? wc: 253 twc:554
