Reflection continued to try and look imposing, doing his duty of protecting the Pool. But his ears were trained on the stranger... Shale?, as he listened to her speak to the Lady Moonbeam. His nose wrinkled in frustration at this whole mess, but then a curious mention of someplace he had never heard of.

Luremire? What sort of trickery was this! The buck frowned, listening more intently. And then gave the lady Moonbeam a wide-eyed stare for a moment at her declaration that all who were sick should drink from the Pool.

Siiiigh. His job was never easy.

"Please be courteous of others, when you approach the Pool. We will have no shoving or scrambling to get your turn. Everyone will have a chance." He grumbled, determined to make this happen in an orderly fashion, if that is what the lady wished.

Besides, the sooner they got through this... the sooner they all could leave.

Chamomile was still quite a little confused by everything that had been transpiring, but the more she learned from these strange rabbits, the more her heart felt heavy for them. She wanted to just take the lot of them, sickness and all, and care for them. Provide them a safe place, as it seemed like they had never had such a place before. Which only made her that much more sympathetic towards them.

Her ears perked up as things seemed to be settling down, and mention of a strange place was brought up. These rabbits came from a land she had not heard of! This was kind of exciting to hear, but looking over the lot of them again.. what on earth had happened?

Taking a deep breath, Chamomile made up her mind. "I would like to go to this Luremire! If there is any way I can be of help, I will happily do so."

Earth Shatter looked terrified. She watched Shale carefully, and saw all of her uncertainties mirrored. Why would they go back? Why would they willingly face the danger of a punishment worse than banishment?

But they'd made this journey together, and she was still positive that they were safer in numbers. At least if she went back south with Shale, they could try to keep each other alive long enough to escape again. "I'll return to the South with you, but I'm very worried that we're making the wrong decision. I hope it isn't fatal."


















Forest sat back on his haunches and considered. These new rabbits were so convinced of their doom, and that put a pit in his stomach. He was no guard, no explorer. At this point he was just an old farmer, tending to the crops of his warren. But he was also a bleeding heart, and these rabbits needed help.

He sighed and nodded to Moonbeam. "I'll go to the new place. I want to help them, however we can. But if they're still in danger they should come back here and we should make space for them."

Kaga had found his way to the pool to admire the foliage that always grew around it. He always tried to pick a couple flowers and plants that he didnt have to try in grow back home at his burrow and he wanted to try and see if there was anything new since Spring had finally come back. When he got there though there was a big commotion going on! There were new rabbits that seemed very strange and talking about strange things and a place called Lumiere!!? What in the world was going on?! It was all so exciting though! Kaga found himself bouncing to the front towards the pool. Then they mentioned the illness that had been going around, he knew a few of his friends had been sick so he took note to tell them of the pool and he got in line to drink from it too just to be safe!

Things finally seemed to be calming down and the strangers talked about leading groups back to where they came from to explain what they found. Kaga was still a little confused on everything but all he could think about was all the different plants and flowers he could collect to bring back maybe, and he was always up for making bun friends too!! He looked around and poked his head up to speak. "Uh, I uh, Hi! My name is Kaga. Ill go to your home land with you too. Ill go with the North group!"


Gale had been hiding along the edges of the group for awhile. She hadn't been there the whole time but she had been there long enough to know what the strangers thought of where they were and what the bunfolk in their lands were, or weren't as the case may be. She thought, at first that they were all batty but realized it was more just misguided and different beliefs and she felt bad for even having such thoughts. Because of this she stayed on the edges and just watched and listened.

Lumeire....such as strange sound to it, but they could think the same of their land. She was pulled out of her thoughts though when the Illness was brought up and it was discovered that the pool this whole time was the cure they needed. She inched her way quietly in line and got her drink before moving back to a corner out of the way though she was closer and could see the strangers better. She looked them over, though they looked a little different she decided they didnt seem that different than them. She couldn't understand why they kept referring to them as giants. She shrugged it off though, it was then they finally decided that they would venture to Lumiere to tell their elders about the pool in hopes of being able to be accepted back.

Gale couldnt imagine being exiled or what they were exiled for in the first place, but she knew she wanted to see their homeland. She wanted to travel, she wanted an adventure. She finally moved forward and spoke up. "Ill go North with you! My name is Gale, ill go with you to see your elders."

Another sneeze escaped the bun, as he listened to the others speak. Would drinking from the pool really cure his illness? He watched carefully as others approached the pool as Moonbeam instructed and drank from it.

Slowly he too made his approach, wearily keeping his eyes upon the other buns as a way to keep out of their ways. He remembered hearing tales of buns offering things to the pool before getting something in return and before he drank the brown bun thought long and hard on this. Marbled did not have much to offer to the pool, just a few four-leaf clovers he had gathered along the way as a snack for later.

Deciding that his snack could be less later and deciding that it was right to offer something to the pool before he took from it the bun threw one of his three clovers into the pool, before taking his long hard drink from the waters.

He drank several gulps of the cool waters before retreating. The skittish bun did not want to have anything more to do with this large group of buns and their talk of an unknown land, he felt uncomfortable as it was. Hopefully getting what he had come for, a cure for his sickness, he started to make his way back to his makeshift home towards the meadowsweet.

Shiver beamed at Shale, eyes teary with sheer excitement. Her plan could work. They'd go back to Luremire - back to safety, finally - and teach their kin about the Darkness and the giants and the Pool and... They'd get to go home. She looked across the growing crowd of rabbits with glee, head whipping back and forth so her one eye could get a proper view of them all.

"I-I can help guide some of you, if you need."

















Frisk had been hanging in the back, watching as events played out among the strange rabbits and those who kept the pool.

"I'll come with y'all - to the North, that is. The more unknown the better."

He grinned, winked at... Presumably someone?, and settled in among the group of rabbits that declared their own intent to head north. He'd been waiting for an opportunity like this for some time. There was always more to explore of the known world, of course, but the unknown? That's where the real excitement was.

Drift perked an ear at the approaching buck and turned to regard him. It was one of the younger bucklings from the Arbor, and he recognized the eager thirst for some adventure.

"Of course, I will let your family know you went on ahead to investigate." Drift reassured him with a nod, "We need some brave rabbits from the Arbor to investigate anyway. Smudge will be glad I'm sure. You can bring back great stories to tell!" He smiled and waved the buckling off on his grand adventure, and made for the Arbor in a hurry. There was still some regret he wasn't going to go look into the new location, but he had family and a warren to get back to for now.
