Funny enough, he was neighbors with the Lenz family. ▬ He was born on a stormy night, mother unable to get to a hospital, their neighbor acted quickly after his older sister (She was five at the time) went to knock on Dr. Lenz's door. (Might explain why he's always loved thunderstorms.) ▬ Raised in Patches, Vale, he was raised with the Lenz twins, even if he was a year older, and was good friends with them growing up. They would enjoy a sort of fight training from his father when the girls visited. ▬ At the age of 15 (though he lied and said he was 16), he signed up for military service and was assigned to Vacuo. It was the first time he would experience real danger and trouble. He also discovered his semblance then. ▬ He met a beautiful combat nurse while he was in service (she was 18 going on 19) that kept him around because he calmed the more disagreeable wounded. They just seemed to gravitate towards one another. ▬ During Vacuo, he had experienced his first battle and seen his first scorpion Grimm. He also made his first comrade that he had jumped in front of, earning him a pretty bad injury, that would later turn into a limp in the future. ▬ After Vacuo, the soldiers of Vale were moved, giving them a break period. He was 17-and-a-half when he proposed to his girlfriend before finding out she was pregnant with their little girl. Lavender was born on All Hallow's Eve before. ▬ As a wedding and thank you gift, he had received a special shield from his long time friend and comrade he made in Vacuo; Robin Casey. ▬ With his wife retired from the military once she had found out she was to conceive, he took one month's leave before he was called back into the fold. At the age of 19 he got out just long enough to study to be as a doctor/surgeon. ▬ During this year while deployed, he would hear of his friend's misfortune in the academy. Thankful she survived, even if it was at the price of everyone else. He would send her letters via Freya to check up on her when not messaging his family. It was the hardest part of his work. ▬ Called back into service during his schooling, he was shipped off as a combat medic to Atlas, he was 21 and his wife was pregnant with their second child, a son. He would not be there to see his birth. ▬ After Atlas, he would be fully discharged and finish his schooling where almost immediately after he graduated, he would take on work at the local hospital. ▬ Even if it seemed silly, he would take time to stock up on dust; it was useful to have some on hand, for emergencies. ▬ He soon turned to the Natural Clinic after he turned 23, and has enjoyed working there ever since. Watching over the patients and Dr. Lenz.
█FUTURE PLANS ▬ Working at the clinic and deflating any arguments or disagreements that might come up is really the only plan for him. No deaths planned. He's Drac's co-worker and he also assists her to be more...human (so to say?) and points out/explains what social ques she doesn't understand or read well. You might also see him walking the streets in casual clothes with his family on his days off.

Vacuo fell 15 years ago, which would put your npc at 11 during this time. After some discussion it's been decided that Vale's military wouldn't have sent people to be stationed in Vacuo as they had more pressing issues. They did however send people to Atlas once that place began to crumble to help with the evacuation of the state, so no issues there.

It would seem that over time even their patients that would interact with Chase seem fond of him. Chase would be a great addition to the clinic, but John could not ignore the aversion the boy seemed to have towards him and would be working to hopefully fix that with time.
