ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ﹕﹕ Veronif has always been described as a bubbly, cheerful, and friendly personality by those that meet her. Given her knack for interacting with others, it tends to comes as a surprise to those who learn that she finds the most joy from isolating herself and immersing herself with her own work. In that regard, she is a very driven woman who tends not to let obstacles or people get in the way of her dreams and goals. Playful and free-spirited in nature, she is never one to refuse a good adventure – the more dangerous, the better. On many occasions she is often described by her peers as a tomboy, and is never afraid of getting down and dirty when she needs to. She thrives on the idea of going against the grain and exceeding other peoples' expectations of her.
In general, Veronif is always kind and courteous to others. She has a great respect for her elders and her superiors, but also has a very strong sense of self and is not a blind follower. She tends to carry herself with an air of confidence but never appears arrogant. When it comes to voicing her own opinions, Veronif tends to be very blunt and outspoken, rarely holding her tongue even when addressing superior officers. In conjunction with her infuriating stubbornness, she makes for a somewhat difficult individual to deal with when it comes to teamwork if she's paired with someone she disproves of. On the battlefield, Veronif always takes her opponents seriously, and for the right cause she is often more than willing to put her life on the line.

- Jaenila Thorsen was born the daughter of Thor Odinson and Brunhilde, a legendary viking warrior and mortal Queen. Thor, who had decided to travel to Midgard to heed the call of those in need, fought valiantly amongst his followers and believers against Brunhilde’s forces, and the ultimate battle that culminated in a death match between Thor and Brunhilde had an outcome that neither of the opposing sides could have predicted. Legend recalls that the battle raged on for twenty days and culminated in a union between the two sides – Thor had met his match against a mortal woman, and Brunhilde was disarmed by the man’s charm and prowess. The two fell madly in love, and the rest was history.
Following a short-lived whirlwind relationship, Brunhilde came to bear Thor’s child, and following a complicated pregnancy, Jaenila was born into the world. Her birth sparked controversy among the Asgardians, due in part to her parentage and the fact that mortals would never be allowed on Asgard. This meant that Jaenila would likely never see her mother growing up, but with 'gentle persuasion' from Thor this was eventually overlooked, and Jaenila and Brunhilde were brought to Asgard. Brunhilde was granted temporary visitation rights which permitted her to spend three months a year on Asgard with her daughter.
Jaenila’s upbringing was much like that of Thor’s. She was trained to become a warrior, and as she grew up it became evident that the Asgardian blood ran thick in her body and took a dominant role in her genetic makeup. The girl showed immense potential, and at a young age was even capable of lifting Mjolnir. With combat prowess honed over several centuries, Jaenila soon became one of Asgard’s foremost champions, worthy of bearing the name Thorsen.
Interestingly, she would eventually share in her father's fate on Earth, mingling with the mortals under the guise of 'Thor'. Following an intergalactic battle in a nearby galaxy, Jaenila found herself on Earth with no recollection of who she was or what she had been doing prior to her plummeting to the surface. It was the year 1947, and an unidentified flying object (UFO) had been spotted ripping through the skies. Jaenila had landed in New Mexico. Upon her arrival, Jaenila had her first encounter with S.H.I.E.L.D. and was placed on a watch list, but less than a year later she was granted diplomatic immunity by the United Nations, and granted an American citizenship under the identity of ‘Veronif Zielbrandt’. As part of her deal with SHIELD, Thor worked alongside the Avengers as one of its founding members. Thor also spent time working on and off with the smaller, lesser known group known as the Defenders during her time in New York. She has since grown rather fond of the mortal world, going so far as to taking a human job as an automechanic in New York.

ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀs ﹕﹕ Given her unique Asgardian physiology, Veronif bas been bestowed a powerful life force that rivals the mystical properties of her hammer Mjolnir. It grants her incredible physicality unlike that of a normal human, but to a lessar degree than that of her half-Asgardian half-God father, Thor. The unique aspect of her power, unlike that of her father's, is that the longer she is in combat, the stronger she becomes, but the closer she gets to dangerously losing control and entering her Berserker mode. She has shown to possess superhuman strength, superhuman speed, stamina, senses, durability, longevity, and a greatly enhanced healing factor. Veronif is also capable of flight, and has also been shown to be capable of self-sustenance. Also from her parentage is her incredible ability to control and manipulate the weather. Her ability to manipulate weather pattern extends beyond that of natural phenomenon, as she has been shown to be able to summon a variety of extraterrestrial weather patterns in combat in various situations. Her power of weather control is further fine-tuned when channeled through Mjolnir.
- Superhuman Strength Much like her father, Veronif possesses an immeasurable amount of raw physical strength. Despite her somewhat small frame she packs a mean punch.
Superhuman Speed Though her speed doesn't quite match that of a speedster, Veronif has been able to move much faster than the average and even 'superpowered' human.
Superhuman Stamina Her ability to keep on keeping on is one of the many gifts granted by her unique physiology. She seems to be generally immune to most forms of toxins including fatigue ones that her body produces, but will from time to time still require food and sleep once her mind and body start to show signs of dulling.
Superhuman Durability Though it appears that she has the body of a human, Veronif's is much more durable, capable of withstanding immense forces, and has allowed her to survive unaided in the vacuum of space.
Superhuman Senses
Regenerative Healing Factor Moderately enhanced, allowing her to heal from most injuries within hours. With the aid of Mjolnir and her weather control abilities, Veronif is even able to regrow missing limbs to a certain extent.
Flight Veronif is capable of flight without the use of Mjolnir
Longevity Veronif is not a true immortal - like the other Asgardians, she merely ages at a much much slower rate. Through the consumption of the Golden Apples, Veronif has been able to maintain her appearance.
Self-Sustenance For the most part, Veronif does not require food, water, or sleep to get by. She can go years without it, but when she puts her body through strenuous activity she'll need to at least rest.
Death Perception Due in part to her extensive training with the Valkyrior, Veronif has developed the ability to sense the coming of Death.
Mystical Teleportation In addition to her ability to sense one's impending death, Veronif is also capable of willfully transporting herself and the dead/dying to an other-dimensional realm of the dead. She, like the Valkyrior, has unprecedented access to all nine realms.
Atomkinesis/Electrokinesis Like her father, Veronif possesses an immense amount of power when it comes to controlling the weather and manipulating electricity. Even at birth she has been able to create and/or summon powerful storms and channel weather phenomenon through her body with ease. Her power of weather control extends beyond the reaches of ambient phenomena as she has been shown to be capable of generating weather patterns that are not native to the planets that she's on. Without the assistance of Mjolnir, the weather Veronif generates is wild and uncontrolled, but with her hammer she is able to create more delicate and refined changes. It is often said that her abilities in weather control parallel (and sometimes exceed) even that of her father's.
ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs ﹕﹕ Due in part to her half-human physiology, Veronif's raw physical attributes are lesser than that of her father. She is also more prone to fatigue and actually does require sleep and eating occasionally, especially after long battles or training sessions.
- Berserker mode is an uncontrollable frenzy of battle lust. Like Thor's Warriors' Madness, this gives Veronif an incredible boost in her power at the cost of her own sanity, but unlike her father Veronif is wholly incapable of controlling herself when she slips into the frenzy, causing her to attack and destroy anything and everything in her vicinity.
