Background: Kyrandia is an Enchanted Island that's very rich in magic thanks to the power of the Kyragem, a powerful artifact that's the source of all magic on Kyrandia. This island is not too far from France in the Atlantic Ocean. It's underwater Kingdom counterpart Neighbors Atlantica. Its now protected by an energy barrier which prevents evil from invading the island. As for Dark Lord's Heart-Shaped Flying Tower, its can normally be found here as well. King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."While the Dark Storm continues to spread, not even the enchanted Island of Kyrandia was safe from it then remembered what his late father's ghost told him while visiting William the Generous' grave; "Brandon, your kingdom is strong now, thanks to you defeating Malcolm the Jester and your wise leadership. But it will soon grow weak again, if you do not provide an heir to the throne. Marry, my son, and give your people a prince or princess that make their future secure." Brandon's quest for true love was going to get tough from here on out, barred by many dangers that await him which he alone would have to face, so he armed himself with a Fabled Dream Shield, his Sword of the First King; The Lightbringer & his Kyrandian Amulet which contained magic spells that he may have to use. He knew that Malcolm didn't have this kind of capability of imbalancing the weather patterns because the mad jester was defeated and turned to stone after defeating him several years back. Brandon knew that if all went well in his quest, he would earn himself a bride for his kingdom. He walked over to his throne & removed his crown then exchanged it for his adventurer's cap, then set out for his quest for love. As for his Grandfather, Kallak, he would tend to Brandon's kingdom during the King's absence. After getting what he needed, Brandon began his journey, but before leaving he used the Kyragem's magic to cast a Protective Spell over the Island, a Dream Aura to repel the Darkness & Evil that may threaten his home. Then headed for the beach where his ship was docked but before he left the Castle, Kallak told him a few words. Brandon, my Grandson, All of Kyrandia is counting on you to find a perfect bride for the kingdom and to save the world from this sudden Dark Storm & its DarkPower Source that's causing it. Be careful!Little did he know, that he may need some assistance on his quest for love, someone to keep him company in his search for his bride. ...

 Princess Marina
Marina sighed as she followed her sisters. It had been a long swim from her home in Ocenea. She, along with her two sisters Lara and Clarissa, was chosen as representatives for something going on in Alantica. She was just excited to be leaving home, but she didn’t realize that the swim would be so long. She also suspected that her mother was hoping that this event would help her and her sister find potential husbands. This was the last thing Marina wanted. She was the youngest of her siblings; the last thing she really wanted was someone trying to hook her up with some merman prince.
Marina looked up towards the surface. The sky was gray, which made the waters look different. Marina didn’t feel right.
“Hey, guys, I think we need to take shelter… guys?” Marina looked around, but her sisters were nowhere to be seen. “Lara? Clarissa? Hey, where are you?” Marina looked around, but her sisters were gone.
The currents started to become strong. Tossing and turning everything that was anchored to the seafloor, including Marina. As hard as she tried, she couldn’t get out of the current as it tossed her. She hit her head on the rocks that knocked her out. The last thing she remembered seeing was the lightning and a strange silhouette of a figure.
Unconscious, the water swept Marina until her body found calmer waters. Her body floated on the waves as it carried her to shore.

King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."Brandon noticed that someone washed ashore on his Enchanted Island, it appeared to be a mermaid with a red top and red tail, she also had blonde hair and green eyes, she also wore a rose hairclip. She was pretty, maybe she could be of some help to him on his quest. Excuse me, miss. But are you alright? Brandon said this then noticed that she must have her head on something. Brandon used his amulet's yellow gem to heal her wound. Cure. The yellow gem on Brandon's amulet began to glow and heal the mermaid, hoping that she'll wake up. That should do it. Feeling better?

Marina slowly opened her eyes, the light from the sun temporarily blinding her. She raised her arm over her eyes, blocking the sun. She didn’t know where she was, but she knew she wasn’t in the water any longer. She looked around her surroundings before focusing her attention on the human man that was next to her.
“Did… did you help me?” Marina asked as she rubbed her head, searching for the place she had hit the rock. To her surprise, she didn’t find it. “Where am I? Who are you?”

King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."Of course I did. I'm Brandon. I healed you with magic. This island that you washed up on has large amounts of it. Perhaps I can show you an example of it. Brandon used his amulet's blue gem and it began to glow then touched a small amount of sand causing it to rise and take the form of a small sandcastle. This island is called Kyrandia. The reason why this land is filled with magic energy is all thanks to a powerful artifact that's in the castle. There's also an undersea counterpart here too, ruled by a loving king and queen. As for me, I'm King of its Surface Counterpart even though I'm not wearing my crown at the moment. What's your name?

Marina looked around as Brandon showed her his island. He seemed like he was a good person. She’s heard stories of humans being evil and brought nothing but destruction where ever they went. Maybe not all humans were like that. She watched as he used magic to make a sand castle. It made her wonder if all human could use magic. The best thing she could do was move water.
“I’m Marina,” Marina answered. She wasn’t sure if she should tell him about her status as a mermaid princess, but she didn’t know anything about Brandon to begin with. “I’m from Ocenea. I was traveling with my sisters, but the storm separated us…”

I'm 20 years old and my kingdom has flourished well under my wise leadership. I guess I could show you Castle Kyrandia if you like. This should help you, if you're coming with me to see where I live on Kyrandia. This purple gem on my amulet can alter a person's appearance. I can use its power to grant you human legs and feet. Brandon showed Marina his purple gem on his amulet but didn't activate it then showed her the yellow gem he used on his amulet to heal Marina followed by the Blue Gem he used on his amulet to make the sandcastle. So, what's it like in Ocenea?

Marina looked down at her tail. She never really imagined in her life that she wouldn’t have her tail. Lara was the one that always wanted legs. She even talked about it in her sleep, but Marina was happy with her tail and swimming in the water.
“I don’t know…,” Marina said as she placed her hand on her dark red tail. “I wouldn’t know how to use legs if I had them… I’ll fall and look silly.”

King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."That's okay, Marina. I can teach you to use legs and feet until you're used to having them & I don't think you would look silly at all. I think you would look really pretty, with human legs & feet as a human girl or with your tail as a mermaid. Brandon was charming for a king at his age and happy to help Marina and looked at her tail, it looked lovely, kind of reminded him of a celebration he held in which he would invite all the maidens of the realm of marriageable age, and choose the one he felt should be queen. However, he found no one that fit his qualities. Marina, all I have to do is activate my purple gem then use its power on you. It's a simple transformation with you, since all I'm doing is creating human legs & feet, and it doesn't hurt at all. Trust me. Brandon tapped his purple gem on his amulet then it began to glow and waved his hand over Marina's tail to change her appearance as he cast his human spell on her using the Purple Gem on his royal amulet.

“W-Wait-“ Before Marina could protest, her tail was already turning into a pair of legs. The golden strand of pearls that was around the bottom of her tail, was now loosely around the ankle of her lift leg. She had no choice but to trust him now. She was thrown into a new world, one where she can walk. The sensation of having legs scared her.
“I-I don’t know how to use them….” Marina’s voice shook a little. She cleared her throat, trying to hide the fact that she was scared. “Are you sure I won’t look silly?”

The first thing to do is for you to learn how to balance on your new legs. Brandon held out his hands toward hers to help her up and stand on her new human legs and feet. He would have to hold Marina until she's used to standing on her legs and feet, since she was now a human girl. Marina, be sure to hold my hands so that I can maintain your balance. Once you've gotten used to balancing on human legs and feet, you'll be able to stand, then I'll teach you to walk. You'll do fine as everything will be okay.

Marina blushed slightly as she slid her hand into Brandon’s. She wasn’t sure how she was going to stand, and it took her a while to figure it out, but she got on her feet, only to fall into his arms. “I’m sorry…” she said quietly. She looked down at her feet. She felt weird looking at legs and feet. She wiggled her toes into the sand. It was weird, but it felt nice.
“Now what?” she asked as she looked up at Brandon.

Brandon held Marina so that she would stand up then held her other hand to maintain her balance. Marina, I can see you can make footprints in the sand. Your legs are lovely as your tail is. Brandon continued to hold her hands until her legs were able to stop wobbling.

Marina sighed a little. She didn't know what what she was even doing. She should have just told the guy to turn her back. She would be back in the water and swimming back to her sisters. Her whole body shook. She didn't understand how human could stand on legs and feet.
"You know, there is a thing called too many compliments," she said. She was slightly annoyed, but she also kind of enjoyed it. She shook her head a little. She needed to concentrate on not falling. Not some guy she just met.
