Team LMAA's Dorm room

Team YAAZ’s Dorm Room is like most dorm rooms. Split into four sections. One for each member. There own little alcoves.
Charlotte’s was just a splay of knives. What looked like feathers from a pillow. And a mattress on the floor. The bed frame itself positioned to cover any ‘attack’ from the door.
Zylah's little alvoe was painted in Black and crimson. There where Lots of pillows and blankets on her bed making it at times almost look like a pillow fort.Of course this made it look Slightly messy. Though with charlotte's side in the room it was barely noticable.
Aarons alvoe is not fleshed out yet
Lunias alcove is also not fleshed out yet.

Current active occupants. Charlotte. Zylah

Charlotte was laying on her bed while on her back. Not a care in the world.. A book over her face Mainly because the woman was slowly nibbling at the pages rather than reading her ‘textbook’ She had found the phrase you should eat books to gain their knowledge. And kinda rolled with it. Mostly due to her own inability to read. Though she was mostly breathing lightly as she nibbled the page occasionally she would yawn. They did after all taste like paper… One finger was stuck into the air as she grumbled a little. ”Why make something as needful as these taste so bad Where the womens short words

Unlike normal charlotte was clad in a blue, sheer satin nightie. Her umbrella nowhere to be seen (under her pillow along with her pistol) along with a pairs of black flip flops. Even a small little bow on her head. That was yellow. Her mind was rather blank as all she could realy see was the squigly lines on the pages she was eating. That was laying on her face. Her legs lightly started to kick into the air. ”Blah why do we have to do this why not just murder things its easier!” Charlotte lightly pouted before removing the book from her face finaly. Showing the makeup pretty much all over her face. Mascara on her cheeks, Lipstick round her eyes. And a feather stuck to her chin.

Having retired to their dorm, showered and clean, Zylah was laying on her stomach on her bed, legs up in the air behind her. Kicking back and forth to some unheard rhythm. She was. Dressed in her pj's a pair black, lace trim sorts and s matching tank top that wasn't quite long enough to cover the the entirety of her stomach. It was a simple out fit. But cute, however contradicted by the thick, wool socks she had pulled up over her knees. Her white hair was still slightly damp, drops of water slower dripping down her back and her face. She had a bug fluffy pillow hugged to her chest, head resting against it with her textbook propped open on the bed in front of her. She had been laying like this for quite some time now but hadn't turned the page even once. There was a far off look in her singular visible, bright blue eye, as if she were day dreaming. It was very possible and in all honesty this wasn't an uncommon way to find the girl. Lost to her own thoughts, whatever they might be. She had a knack for getting out of sharing. Somehow always managing to share only the vaguest if details before effectively changing the subject.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the grumbling and fussing of Charlitte on the bed next to her. Peering over the girl without actually moving her head, she laughed softly under her breath. "They aren't supposed to taste good because you aren't supposed to eat them, silly goose." She teased lightly, rolling over onto her side so that she could smirk over at the scorpian faunus. It wasn't long before she began kicking her legs in frustration, which drew another musical laugh from Zylah's lips. It was kinda nice to not be the only one ready to throw a child-like tantrum... even if Zylah's were often a bit more over-dramatized. Even more so, the girl had been growing increasingly bored trying to force herself to read her text book, so it was even mire so appreciated to have something else to focus her attention on.

When Charlotte removed the book from her face, revealing her make up smeared across her pale skin in a rather messy fashion. Likely from having the book resting over her face for so long. Zylah's smirk grew, looking rather amused before sliding gracefully off of her bed and nearly skipping across the room to Charlotte's bed. She didn't ask before she plopped herself right onto themattress. She didn't even hesitate, pulling her legs up and sitting cross legged as she peered at Charlotte with big, doll-like eyes. Reaching forward she plucked the feather off her skin and tossed it aside. "I agree. Books and homework are boring. Its runner to just kill things." She agreed, a wide grin tugging up her lips.

Charlotte flickered her eyes over towards her zylah. Taking in her outfit as quickly as she could. Noticing the thick wooly socks that were pulled up to her knees. Though the droplet of water that fell from the hair as she moved dragged her attention away. Her head slightly tilted to the side before she light mumbled back. Especially as zylah seemed to be smiling while responding. ” They say eat the book And then they also say books are knowledge. They want us to gain knowledge so eat the books to gain it? Like gaining fat from food!” Her logic was a bit broken but at least it made some weird iota of sense!

The movement that zylah initiated by standing made charlotte tilt her head over to the right. Though from zylahs perspective the woman was upside down. Her breathing causing her chest to rize and fall. And her tail tensed up a little as the other woman approached. Especially with the smirk. The plopping motion made charlotte bounce a little on her ‘bed’ due to the way the mattress was set up. Though the angle made charlotte move so her head was near the woman's legs. Her tail laying on the floor next to the bed as her hips where angled slightly to the side. Though the majority of her was still on her back.

The movement towards charlotte's face to pluck the feather caused the woman to tense up completely. Though she slightly relaxed as it was just for said feather and then agreeing with the killing sentence. A smile forming on charlotte's face as well. Though due to her being upside down possibly appearing as a frown. ”Hmm Killing is way way more fun than reading these stupid books.” And as if to make her point more clear she threw her book up into the air a little bit before stabbing the pages with her dual stinger. A light mumble followed that along the lines of cant. And maybe the word read later on? Though it was a bit bunch of words. ”What is on your mind zylah! You upside down woman!” Charlotte couldnt help but start to giggle. Though she would admit. Giggling felt weird. Very very weird.

Zylah couldn't help but just smirk playfully as Charlotte explained her logic. In a strange round about way, it actually made sense. However, it was more than that. It gave away specific details about Charlotte that others might not pick up on. It wasn't that the girl lacked intelligence, but rather that she had her childhood stolen from her. All those years that she should have spent learning thi gs such as humor, expressions, metaphors, the proper way to express emotions... learning to read, it had all been robbed from her. Zylah still wasn't sure exactly what had happened to the faunus girl, but she could assume that whatever it was, it was bad. The scars, both physical and mental, were both pretty big indicators. However, it was really her eyes that gave it away. In moments she let her guard down. Moments she thought no one was looking. She saw the haunted look in those burnt orange orbs of hers. It was a look she recognized. One she had seen in her own eyes.

The misunderstood humor and confusing metaphors, struggling with normal interactions. It was something Zylah could relate to, on some level at least. While her younger years had been by no means pleasant, she had spent them living in a house with parents, even if they were never actually home. She'd had a chance to pick up on some things before that time had been robbed from her. Even after her time being locked in a cage, ahe'd picked up quickly and learned how to blend in... well, sorta. There wasn't much about Zylah that could really blend in, but it brought her a different kind of attention. Her bubbly nature made her seem mire innocent than she was, distracted people from a dark past and a secret villain identity. Her constant joking, recklessness, the banter and the inability to take anything serious... well, that was just all a part of her essence. Though in reality, it was all a shield used to protect her in any ways.

"It's a metaphor." Zylah explained after a moment, shaking the other thoughts from her mind. "You read the books to gain the knowledge... but you don't actually have to eat them." She stated, only to watch her toss the book and then stab it with her tail a moment later. She watched with a raised eyebrow as the pages were torn before letting out another laugh. "But, I think that looks much more enjoyable." It was honestly a bit strange to see the girl in such a pleasant and giggly mood. Zylah couldn't recall hearing her giggle even once since meeting her. Laugh or chuckle maybe, but not giggle. "I'm not actually upside down, you silly." Zylah murmured in her honest sweet voice, letting out a soft giggle of her own. At her question, Zylah paused. She couldn't exactly tell her the truth about what had been on her mind. Not without giving away to many crucial and possibly incriminating details at least. Luckily, this was something the girl was used to at this point and it didn't take her long to think of something else instead.

Resting her elbow on her knew, she plopped her chin on her hand and leaned against it, peering down at Charlotte. "Well, I should have been studying but that got awfully boring... so I was thinking back on past adventures instead." It wasn't a complete lie... it was just lacking of certain details. Certain details that could just not come to light. Not only would she be kicked out of Beacon, possibly worse considering how the tribe would punish her, if she even managed to get out of here with her life... but it would ruin her little talk with Charlotte. It wasn't often that the two found themselves unaccompanied, but when they did Charlotte usually avoided conversation. Raising a curious brow at the girl, she tilted her head slightly to one side. "What about you Miss Char, what's got you on such a good mood?"

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte kept her eyes locked on zylah. She was trying to study the other woman. Figure out why there where pauses when charlotte felt there shouldn’t be. Why charlotte hated that eye. Though she kept a lot of that internalized. Charlotte didn’t know that it was because they were her own eyes. Things and thoughts rushed though Charlotte's brain before stopping. Some days it was like a roulette…

Today it stopped on trying to understand what a metaphor was though she scrunched up her face at that. Trying to even guess what the hell a metaphor was. After a few seconds she just gave up. A smile appearing on her face. Of course she was upside down still. The statement about not being upside down caused charlotte to lift her right hand and poke zylahs face. Aiming for her nose but most likely missing. ”You are to me ha!” The smirk that flickered across her face flickered away as zylah lent forwards. The elbow resting on the knee was rather near charlotte’s head.

Charlotte had tensed up a tiny amount yet again and was just staring back up at zylah. A mixed look of fear and the face someone makes when trying not to laugh. Though her next words made her raise a eyebrow. Though still being on her back caused it to look a little weird. ”What past adventures did you get up to? And im in a good mood cause.. I might have been offered a white piece of food that made me feel good! She lightly giggled before shutting her eyes.

It was a few more seconds before charlotte added another few words. ”So i don't know about you where you from and all that stuff! Her breathing was a little slow as she softly started giggling. On the moment she opened eyes second time it was rather obvious as her pupils where a little dilated. Not much but a little. ”So why did you join beaconnn thing!” Her words suddenly started slurring a softly. She even shuffled a little closer. Just so she could rest her head on Zylahs legs. Most likely as they where the closest thing. Her pillow was at the moment ‘missing’... though anyone that had a brain would notice the feathers from it where.. Well everywhere. Showing she’s kinda destroyed it.

Zylah watched the confusion play out on Charlotte's face, twisting up all her features until she finally just sighed and gave up. She might have asked the girl exactly what it was that was confusing her. Maybe even explain, if she were able. However, in the matter of just a few moments her entire demeanor changed. The exasperated looked changed to that of an amused smirk and before the girl could so much as blink Charlotte launched her finger towards her face in an ill-aimed poke. Zylah could assume she had been aiming her her nose, but rather she'd poked her right in the cheek. Blinking a few times, she shook her head slightly, damp hair sprawling about. After a moment a smirk of her own tugged on the corners of her lips. "You missed." She murmured, winking playfully at the girl before reaching down and landing a well placed boop to the tip of her nose before quickly drawing her hand back while letting out an amused laugh.

When Charlotte questioned the specifics of the adventures she had been reminiscing in, she figured it was better to stick as close to the truth as possible. It was was too terribly easy to get caught in a web of lies. By simply leaving out certain details and twisting the facts around here and there, it was far less likely she would ever get caught. "Well, there is of course the mission in the courtyard... that was my first day here. Our first mission as a team." She stated, being sure not to pause too long. "But you know, before Beacon I had a tendency to get into trouble." She continued, a devilish grin lighting up her face. "Never anything to inciminating..." No, the truly villainous nature came much later, when she was so broken and abandoned she'd been left with nothing else to turn to. "But my stunts would of drive my parents insane... had they actually been home enough to even notice." Her voice started out light and playful, however it faded towards the end of her statement, that msichevious smirk if her dimming slightly.

There really wasn't much time for the girl to think on it as the next words caught Zylah's attention. Initially she looked confused, then surprised, then it all seemed to click. That certainly explained the giggly behavior. Maybe Zylah should have taken it more seriously, surely Luina or Aaron would have, but seriousness was not in her nature, and in the rare occasions that it was... someone had really screwed up and it was best to star clear of her. "Char... you're doing drugs and you didn't share with me? How rude." She teased, mocking a look of offense before returning her chin to rest in her hand. She didn't miss the way Charlotte's body tensed, or the way she flinched away from her, as she often did. A part of her figured it must have just been instinctive. After all, once Zylah had escaped that hellish faunus camp, she'd been much the same way. She had learned to reign it in for the list part, but there were things that still triggered it. Despite that, there were times she couldn't help but wonder if it was specifically her.

Zylah was quiet for a moment before looking st Charlotte with a curious look in her eyes. "Can I ask you something?" She questioned, tilting her head slightly to one side. She waited for a response se before continuing, though knowing Zylah it could be assumed she would have asked either way. "Do I... make you uncomfortable?" It wasn't the exact phrasing her thoughts had taken, but it sounded better and would still get whatever answer it was that she needed. While waiting for her to respond, she distracted herself with the plethora of feathers adorning her bed. "Also... did you murder a goose a d forget to clean up the mess?" She teased, smirking down at the scorpian as she adjusted herself to rest her head on her leg. A substitute for the pillow she had likely destroyed.

It was Charlotte's turn for questions and of course her first one was Zylah's least favorite to answer. It break back memories she would much rather forget. It was hard to speak of such things and not lose herself to the dark path it always led her down. She was quite a moment as she collected her thoughts, but did her best to keep the internal struggle form showing in her expression. The girl was actually extremely good at keeping a poker face. "Well, I was born and raised in Atlas. I was lucky enough to escape in the evacuation, but my parents were not." Not that she cared her parents hadn't made it out. It's not like they had cared about her in the slightest and she blamed them for terrible thing that happened next. They could have stopped it but they chose not to. Still, she did her best to look subdued by the topic, as most children would mourn their parents deaths and she didn't want to answer questions. Especially not that one. She couldn't. So instead, she kept it simple and sweet. Leaving out the nitty gritty bits about the years she'd spent in torture and her meeting with the Tribe. "I joined Beacon because I want to stop what happened to me from happening to anyone else." Now that, that was just a straight up lie, but it's not like she could tell her she'd been sent as a spy. "What about you? I don't know much about you either." She asked, as always, hoping to divert the subject from herself and her past.

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]
Charlotte narrowed her eyes at zylah as the nose bloop happened. It was followed by a wriggle of the womans nose and a small sneeze. But she still narrowed her eyes at her! ”How dare you move! She said in a mock insulted tone in her voice. Though that was followed up by a giant giggle fit. The smirks pulling and tugging her face and she even wriggled a little. Though she did manage to get herself under control for the replies to her question.

Charlotte let out a light hum as she tried to process things in her muddled mind. Everything felt a little foggy. The ‘drugs’ Aka Painkillers. Dulling her mind a bit. ”So Everything incriminating? In.. criminat.. Criminator! Wait what trouble?” She started giggling softly again as part of her expected the trouble to be something like stealing something. But part of her also hoped it wasnt anything against fanus. Though she fluttered her eyes shut. Her entire body flickered to tense up at the word parents. Even her tail recoiled As if in fear. ”what was your family like? She meant it as a innocent question for now Even though the ‘had they been home’ part made her wonder did Zylah have sisters and brothers that disliked her? And had to raise them alone?

Then came the did not share comment about her ‘drugs’. This caused charlotte to dig into her left hand side pocket.. On her shorts.. That where just screwed up in a ball on the floor next to her. Before dragging the sheet of painkillers out and showing them to zylah. ”You can have some?” She said somewhat innocently. And actually being sincere with her entire offer. She didn’t want to be rude. Especially to her new ‘pillow’. She finally flickered her eyes open to look back up at zylah. A somewhat pleasant. If tense sigh escaped the fanuses mouth.

Then came her turn to be questioned. Causing the fanus to just nod in response to the can she be asked a question. Though the hesitation made charlotte look a little confused. Why would Zylah hesitate? Why should she? Then came the question and she physically winced. ”No i just.. “ She flickered her words off before deciding to answer later. Though the second question made her blush softly. ”No no i .. Memorys so i killed the pillow and now its everywhere so now you are a pillow!” Her words slightly slured before she forced herself to speak normally.

Her admitting she survived the evacuation but not her parents made charlotte smile a little.”Thats good!” She muttered a little groggy. She had accidentally admitted there that she disliked parents. Though that was to do with her own history. Especially as she had just murdered one of her ‘parents’ on the beach not long ago. She had expected the return question to be something about joining beacon and charlotte had tried thinking up a lie but gave up. ”cause its free food, roof. training and i get to kill those that did this” And if on response her tail raised and gave zylah a little wave. Before flopping down to the side. Though she had to ask. ”What happened to you? You seem so happy during fighting and so .. distant.. Like m… “ Even with her pain dulled mind she had managed to think why she disliked the eyes. ”Your eye is like mine.. why?”

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura
"I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia had been out getting a little bit of food and water, she returned to the dorm and arrived holding two bags full of interesting looking things. She was slightly shocked to see Charlotte and Zylah both here but smiled, they seemed to be having a nice time. "Hey, so I brought us some food to keep in the room if we get peckish!" she said, as she walked over to her desk.

Lunia's table wasn't really decorated with much, she had a picture frame with six bright blue haired people in it, standing very serious. It was her family, Lunia was much younger in the picture, however it was the only family photo she had with Keaton in it. Her blades were taller than her, and they stood upright leaning against the table. She put down the bags on the table and began to empty them, taking a brief moment to look at the picture frame on her desk, a little look of sadness rushing over her face before she came back to.

Emptying the contents of the bag, she held a family pack sized bag of strawberry sweets and threw them for Zylah to catch. "I got these for you, do try to make them last longer than the night.." she said, winking and laughing at her teammate. Lunia got herself a packet too, she opened it and put one of the sweets in her mouth as she rummaged through the bag again.

In the room there was a small kettle, she knew Charlotte liked tea. She turned around and threw a box full of 25 bags of flavoured tea, "There you go Char, tea mends the soul, as they say!" she said. The other contents included some fruit, a treat for Aaron and bottles of water. Lunia sat on her bed, swinging her legs as she sighed with a bit of relief just to be sat down.

"So, I'm a bit worried to ask what's been happening, since you are both definitely the troublemakers of the group..." she said, chuckling as she smiled at them both, feeling happy to have people she could call friends.

All she could do was smirk at Charlotte's reaction to the nose boop. Her laughter gave away the fact that she wasn't truly angry, but she couldn't help but wonder if it would be different were she not a little loopy at the moment. Either way, it was well worth it. At her question about trouble, Zylah's smirk grew a mischievous gleam glinting in those cerulean orbs. "I can't tell you. It's too secret." She teased, winking playfully once more before letting out a soft laugh. In all reality it was a secret, at least the trouble she was getting into now, but she hoped joking about it would distract anyone from every suspecting her. At least from anything outside the realms of child-like mischief and fun. At her next question, her smirk faded once more. The brightness of her eyes dimmed, as they usually did whenever her past or her parents were mentioned. It was a subtle thing, but one someone was bound to notice if they were paying close enough attention. "I was an only child. My parents were busy with... work, so they weren't home much." She stated simply, leaving out the bits about how they'd always acted like they'd never wanted her in the first place. How their neglect had escalated into them leaving their small, defenseless child to the torture and terror of her kidnappers. "What was yours like?" She questioned after a moment, more out of curiosity than a diversion for once.

Zylah watched curiously as Charlotte twisted around, searching for her shorts that lay forgotten on the floor. When she pulled out the the foiled sheet of little white pills, Zylah tilted her head to the side, looking confused but even more curious. It seemed that in many ways Charlotte and Zylah were more similar than either of them realized. The white-haired girl had only been ten years old when she'd been ripped from her bed and stolen from her home in the middle of the night. Those first ten years were the only ones that had been spent in any sort of normalcy and even then, they weren't really all that normal. She'd been alone, learning to take care of herself, and missing out on many of the day-to-day lessons a child should learn. Such as the pain killers Charlotte was offering her with such sincerity. Over-the-counter medicine seemed to be another thing they both lacked experience in, or rather, the chance to gain that experience had been robbed from them along with so many other lessons. Reaching forward she popped one of the pills out of the container, holding it between her fingers and examining it close to her eye. "Do you chew it?" She questioned after a moment, revealing for once that she was possibly a bit more naive than she let on. At least about certain subjects.

Zylah didn't receive an answer to her first question, at least not outside of a visible wince and a few stuttered words. A small breath of air passed through her lips, but she didn't press it. In all reality, it didn't matter if Charlotte hated her. She wasn't here to make friends. That was something she had to remind herself more and more lately. She distracted herself instead with the blush that filled the scorpian girl's cheeks, tilting her head with a slight curiosity. There was one word that stood out among the others. Memories. Zylah could relate to that. She had her own memories that used to cause such fits. Now they were kept locked up tight behind a heavy wooden door in the back of her mind. Still, there were certain things that triggered them, broke down her defenses and let them slip through the cracks. Or at night, when she was asleep and her guard was down. Often times they slipped into her dreams, or rather, nightmares. Zylah was just glad she'd grown past the phase of waking up screaming every night. That would have been hard to explain. "Do these memories... cause stuff like these often?" She questioned, picking up a handful l of the loose feathers and running them through her fingers. She might have been crossing a line with that question, but their conversation had continued wondering I to uncharted territory and Zylah had never been one to hold back her curiosity.

Charlotte's exclamation gave a way a bit more than she had likely intended, but with the way her mind was inhibited at the moment, she didn't really have much control over it. "So I'm not the only one who doesn't like my parents... what did yours do to you?" She asked, wo deering if they had something to do with why a Charlotte had killed her pillow, why she held that same haunted look in her amber eyes. Zylah's parents weren't directly responsible for what had happened to here in the sense that they were not the ones who had committed the torture themselves, but they submitted her to it. They could have stopped it. They could have saved her. They chose not to. So there was a big part of the girl that couldn't help but blame them. Charlotte's next question took her completely off guard, though it brought s few new details to light. Zylah had been right to assume something equally awful had happened to Charlotte. Zylah was not the only one that saw their similarities. Plus, now she knew why Charlotte so often avoided her gaze. It must have reminded her too much of what she saw in her own eyes. "I... I um..." She stuttered before tailing off, her voice much softer and vulnerable than normal. It must have been strange to see her stutter and struggle that way. She always had something to say. "They... they..." Again, she couldn't seem to get more than a couple words out. She couldn't just think up a lie for this one. The question was too specific. Charlotte already knew it was something horrid. But she couldn't tell the truth either... could she? Not without giving up a secret. One that Charlotte might actually hate her for. This time it might not be the pillow that got torn to shreds. So... why was there a part of her that wanted to let it slip... get the burden off her chest.

Her eyes were wide, blue and blind one alike. There was a look that could be described as nothing short of panic taking root in her expression. Her heart was pounding in her chest, breaths coming short and raspy. For possibly the first time since meeting. The girl looked not only fearful, but as vulnerable and fragile as her small size made her appear. Her mouth opened, a flood of words and emotions ready to break through the dam and overgliw the floodgates, but before they could escape, there was a soft thud as the door opened and as quiet as the sound was, it startled Zylah. She nearly jumped out of her skin, the movement rattling through her own body. Her eyes shot up from Charlotte who was stil laying with her head in her lap, to Luina who was walking towards her desk with a few bags in her hand. Zylah was still visibly shaken, but seeing the blue-haired girl seemed to calm her slightly, but it also brought her back to her senses. The tidal wave that had been about to drown them all was locked back tightly where it belonged. I. The d as darkest corner of her mind. It didn't take her long to compose herself. In a matter of seconds she transformed from the trembling wreck she had been to the carefree bubble of mischief they were so used to. "I assure you there was no murdering of books or pillows and certainly no ingestion of drugs in your absence." She teased, smirking over at her captain, her one visible eye gleaming with mischief. The feathers were still clenched tightly in her fist, reaching out she hurled them across the room towards Luina, but they only made it a couple feet or so before drifting a harmlessly to the ground. In return there was a bag full of strawberry candies tossed her way. F as ce lighting up like a child on Halloween, she snagged the bag out if the air and hugged it to her chest. "I can make no promises to that request."

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]
Charlotte pouted again at the moment zylah said she couldn’t tell her. The frown tugging at her lips only till the laugh came from the white haired woman. Her left hand came up to try and touch Zylahs cheek. Mainly to rub it with a thumb. Mostly to prove its still there. Partly because she wanted to see that other eye. She swore she caught glimpses of it every now and then. Why was Charlotte so intrigued about the eye? It was pretty. Well least in charlottes head it was. Though the next questions answer made her tilt her head. ”Home… I had no..” Even in her lucid state she stopped herself.

The question about what her own parents where like again made her tense. He right hand drifting down to touch her twin tail. The look of sadness hitting her face. She even opened her mouth to speak but couldn’t force the words out. The memories she had forced into a hole and buried trying to attack her like a zombie. She knew they where past but they still hurt. They still caused emotions. And even phantom pains of where the needles injected into her. Even a few where she was pinned and tied to a medical bed with saws cutting into her skin while she was conscious. Her screams echoing in the room. These memories caused her to start to whimper. Even curl up. Though she snapped herself out of it as she noticed zylah had asked a question. What was it? It was about the drugs? The thing that made her giggle. The thing…

”Swallow.. She said almost silently. Her own hand reaching for the tablet pack to pop one of her own out again. She played with it a little in her hand. Wondering if it was a good idea. She felt like death had warmed up. But the lack of feeling the pain. The feeling of floating was wonderful. Almost euphoric. Though the next Zylah question hit her. Her answer was just a simple nod before she fluttered her head back onto zylahs legs.

There was a small silence in charlotte's head as the question of what charlottes parents did to her. And instinctively her left hand covered her dual stingers. Her right hand moved over her mouth plopping the tablet into it. Only to let out a audible gulp as she swallowed. ”Things.. Like teach how to cook all animals..” Her eyes flickered to zylahs face to try and watch her reaction. Well as much as her lucidly controlled mind could. Seeing if there was a hostile reaction. Then there was a pause. Zylahs face was contorting a little. She even stuttered and stammered causing charlotte to look worriedly at the human. Though she herself just formed a light smile. The panic in zylah made charlotte feel… Relaxed. She somewhat understood the feeling. Not exactly.

The expressions zylah was making intrigued the fanus. Heck even to the point she started lifting her left hand away from her tail to try and touch her cheek to calm her down. Thats what she had watched mothers do to children. Thats what everyone did right?... Then she saw zylah snapp her attention to the door. And could feel her legs shaking a little. Though she didnt know what was going on till lunia spoke. Something about food in the room. Woo more stuff! Was the main thought charlotte had. Both her and zylah on charlotte's mattress on the floor. ”Woo?” She said quietly. Though that was a good few seconds after her mind had said it.

Then came the box. She had vaguely been aware of the sweet packet being thrown at zylah. And her head had turned to follow it. Though she heard something about tea mends the soul. That was good. ”I doubt it can mend all souls? She said softly. Though added. ”Wait is that a metaphoric thingy.” Though it was that point the box impacted her stomach and she froze. Images flashed through her mind as she for a second felt like it was a knife. She had just been in that sort of mindset after all. This caused her to let out a whimper. Though she quickly came back to her senses. Only to add onto zylahs joke of no murdering books pillows or drug ingestion in the absence of lulie. And only remembered what zylah said of not sharing and how it was rude. So she picked up what was left of the packet of painkillers and threw them towards lunia. They were afterall standard over the counter pain medication. ”Have captain they are nice! They make it feel all floaty and stuff!” And again charlotte started giggling. Though this wasn’t doing her any good. These constant up and downs where slowly wearing her out.

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura
"I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia looked at her pillow as soon as she heard Zylah joking about the state of them, she was just glad her one wasn't ruined - it was one from home. She looked between both of her teammates and could tell that the conversation before Lunia had arrived must have been a little bit tense, maybe they both had a lot in common and she had barged in between. She was brought back suddenly by Zylah launching some feathers, she flinched a little, expecting something to hit her a bit harder.

"True, these things are addictive!" she said, as she popped another sweet in her mouth. Lunia watched Charlotte looking at the box of tea bags with wonder after her sarcastic statement - she always forgot that she was still learning about interactions and when they were real or not. Chuckling, Lunia nodded to answer her question. "Yes, It was just pretend.. although a nice warm cup of tea does always make me feel good.." she said, taking a heavy breath as she swung her legs again.

She caught the box as Charlotte tossed it over and looked at it, "Painkillers? Make sure you haven't taken too many Char... it can totally ruin your insides!" she said, realizing her statement was too late and she had probably had too many. Her face was one of concern for them both now, she placed them beside her on the bed and frowned towards them now, "You both better not be trying to overdose, I sensed something was tense when I came in!" she said, looking between them for one of them to answer, as she felt a buzz in her pocket.

Lunia took her scroll out of her pocket and looked at it, rolling her eyes. It was Mia, her older sister. She sighed a little, putting the phone on the bed beside her to let it ring out. Mia would be calling to make a mockery of her, or to ask her hundreds of questions - and Lunia just couldn't be bothered with it right at this time. She went silent and didn't realise she was just watching the phone, as it rang and rang... hoping it would end soon and she wouldn't call back again.

Charlotte's hand moving towards her cheek froze her in place. Zylah remember a time when she would have flinched away. Despite her own lack of boundaries, touch was a very unfamiliar concept for her. At least, the gentler side of it was. She'd gone from being completely alone, never having known the feelings of a loving embrace or a gentle caress. Her parents hadn't held her when she cried or kissed her cuts and bruises better. They'd never do led her asleep or wiped away her tears. Her life had went from that, to the opposite. A life where every hand that touched her was a violent one. Every one who came near her caused her pain. Torture, torment, agaony, on a constant loop. Then she escaped, and it was back to nothing. Sure, she never hesitated to link her arms around her teammates and drag them around to do her bidding. Personal space didn't seem to occur to her. It was possibly it was because she had never gotten the chance to learn those boundaries... or maybe it was just because she longed for those things. It was hard to say...

Whichever it was, Charlotte's hand on her cheek was a completely unfamiliar feeling. It scent a strange buzz through her skin, a tingling sensation following where her thumb gently stroked along her cheekbone. Her fingers were so close to her eye, the left one, the one that always stayed hidden. All it would have taken was a simple brush of the white strands that fell into her face and that secret would be blown. An eye, just as big and doll-like as the other, but lacking the bright cerulean color of the other. Turned a milky white in its blindness. Honestly Zylah wasn't even sure if any of her teammates had figured it out yet. She had always been so careful to keep it hidden, but there had been a few occasions when circumstance just wasn't on her side. Usually it was the doing or a frisky breeze, catching her hair just the right way. Usually her concern was what lie she would if they did manage to find out, because sure they would ask how it happened. What would she tell them? However, at the moment, it was the farthest thing from her mind. Rather, her mind was too preoccupied to form coherent thoughts. Then, something completely out of the ordinary happened. A soft heat crept into her face, painting her cheeks pink.

Zylah could tell the faunus was struggling for words and as overly-curious as she could sometimes be, she wasn't about to press her. Not on this. Not with the way she curled up and whimpered as if she were in physical pain. It was yet another thing she could relate to. The memories that were so real, so vivid, that not only did they poke and prod at the sh as tattered remains of her heart, but brought back pain she remambered as ll to clearly. So rather than make it worse, Zylah moved her hand to the girl's hair. She moved slowly, cautiously. She didn't want to startle her in such a state. Resting her fingers on her forehead for a moment, she ran her tiny hand through her hair in a gentle, and hopefully comforting motion. Lucky the condition didn't last long. Zylah's question about what she was supposed to with the pill made her giggle instead. Shrugging by her delicate shoulders, she popped the pill into her mouth, swallowing it as Charlotte took another and blinking several times as if she were trying to clear her vision.

Her comment about what exactly they had done to her took Zylah by surprise. She blinked in confusion, tilting her head slightly to one side as she peered down at her. It took her several moments but then it clicked and her eyes widened and a small gasp left her lips. "Wait... all animals?" She questioned, almost in disbelief. She honestly wasn't sure what else to say on the matter, but she didn't seem disgusted by the matter at least, just surprised. That night eventually kick in... but it wasn't something she would judge Charlotte for. It seemed... out of her control... and even if it wasn't, Zylah had done plenty of horrid things herself in the years she'd spent with the Tribe. She'd take. Lives more times than she could count... and she would be lying if there were times that she didn't enjoy it. Granted, that was only specific times when dealing with specific people. People that were bigger monsters than she was and despite the believes of her villainous group, that didn't always mean faunus. She'd seen evil in both humans and faunus alike. But, all that aside, even if she didn't enjoy it... it wasn't like she felt any remorse or guilt either. She'd become numb to it all.

Panic attack only very narrowly avoided, she found Charlotte's hand reaching for her cheek once more. She didn't freeze this time but rather tried to take comfort in what she knew was intended to be a comforting motion, and to her surprise, it actually was. The panic in her eyes slowly dimmed. Her thrumming heart finally slowed. She was able to breath again. A small smile touched her lips, void of the usual playfulness and mischief. It lasted but a moment before her eyes darted to Luina, joking playfully with the blue haired girl. "But... broken souls are far more interesting." She stated what was an entirely Zylah thing to say. Though, she hadn't meant it quite as sadistically as it came off. She didn't elaborate, but she was thinking more along the lines that most people had something broken about them... Charlotte did. Luina hid it well, but even she did. Zylah sae it in her eyes whenever she glanced at the family portrait sitting on her bedside table. It just made them... individuals.

The conversation quickly drifted back to the matter of drugs whe. Charlotte tossed the packet to Luina to share. only, Luina seemed to have much different ideas in the subject. Granted, she also had much more experience with such things. "We were doing no such thing! We were just having a little bit of fun." She teased, sending a playful little wink and a trademark grin her way. Full of mischief, just like a child. She held the expression for a moment be fore tearing open the bag if candy, popping one in her mouth before offering it to Charlotte. She really wasn't sure if the faunus even enjoyed sweets, but she had shared her loopy pills... it was the least she could do. At her question, she set the bag of candy beside her and leaned over a but she she could look down st Charlotte, resting on her legs. "A metaphor is afigure of speech in which a word or phrase used to describe an object or action in which it is not literally applicable." She explained, sounding almost like a dictionary, likely because that is how she learned it herself. A moment later there was a buzz from where Luina was sitting. "Is it your boyfriend?" She teased, wriggling her eyebrows playfully at her captain. That is, until she heard the sigh and noted the much more serious expression on her face. "Do you need me to punch someone for you?" She offered instead. She wasn't good with serious, but she meant well.

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte responded to zylahs question with just a simple nod. A yes to the all animals. What the worst part of it all was as she did that her stomach rumbled ever so slightly. The soft tinge of red hitting her cheeks only for a split second before she let herself go. The look on Zylahs face had made herself feel overwhelmed. Why did this human understand. Why did she? Why did this human understand and even more the eyes look the same. The feeling was slowly eating though charlotte's mind. The drowning feeling.

The comforting hand still happened and she felt a little relieved that zylah was seemingly genuinely happy. Though the snapp towards lunia made her blink and snap her own hand away. A light apology slipping from charlotte’s mouth before she herself even caught it. Though she caught herself in her next few words. But not in time to stop them. ”Broken things are pretty.”...

And that was enough to set her mind ablaze. Even with the lucid state from the now identified medication painkillers she wasn’t really focusing. Heck she heard something about things being addictive. Then about a warm cup of tea. And feeling good. She knew she probably would need that around about now. Though her mind forced itself to focus on lunia. ”Cant.. Be to many they feel.. good..” Where her simple yet dangerous words. However the packet only had three tablets missing unless lunia took one herself. One zylah took. Two charlotte. ”It was tense?” Charlotte asked in a soft. Almost relaxed voice.

There was a freeze in charlotte’s brain. Her mind replayed the scene that had just happened. Even adding in the scroll call lunia received. Though heck, at least this mysterious metaphor was cleared up for charlotte. Even if it opened a new question up for the curious woman. ”So.. Why would a boy being a friend make a difference if there doing the talking thing on the scrolls” Heck she didnt even know why the punching threat was being issued. So she turned her head to look up at zylahs from her lap still. Just softly saying. ”Please no im comfy.” Though her eyes started to droop a little. ”I feel… its like tired but not.. My body feels fine..”

"I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia looked at Charlotte and then at the tablet packet, it was clear that she had only taken two of them, this wasn't too bad. "Two tablets is pretty normal, you wouldn't normally feel any different other than no pain..." she said, tilting her head at Charlotte, confused as to how she was so effected by it. She knew that Charlotte wasn't in any immediate danger, so just let her lie down, she was probably just really tired and would fall asleep soon.

She glanced at her phone again, it was still buzzing away. Lunia looked shocked at Zylahs question, if she had anything in her mouth it would have been spat back out, her face went bright red. "No.. no boyfriend!!" she said, laughing as she then proceeded to nod at her next comment. "Yeah, she'd definitely deserve a punch..." she added, watching the phone, Lunia rolled her eyes. "She's really adamant to talk to me, how strange..." she said.

The phone eventually stopped, she was expecting the flood of messages next however, it remained silent for now. "It was my sister, Mia. She usually calls me when she's mad at our father or when she wants to brag about how she's a captain in the military and blah blah blah.." she said as she put another sweet into her mouth.

Lunia glanced again at the family picture on her desk, she was unsure why she had it there when the only family member she got on with wasn't here anymore. She wondered if now was a good time to just tell them who she was, at the risk of them, especially Charlotte, starting a fight. Lunia thought about it really hard, but looked at them both relaxed together and decided against it, for now.
