xxxxx↳Pausing entails that someone has been quite literally, paused. Whether that be someone/something performing an action, doing nothing, and/or sleeping xxxxx↳Their moment is frozen, the individual is not made aware that anything else has transpired during the time they are paused. Most often then naught, when an individual is unpaused they can pick up the fact that they were paused depending on how much their surrounding had changed when they were initially paused xxxxx↳While paused, any damage inflicted to the individual will not be felt by them till they are unpaused xxxxx↳Inanimate objects are easier to pause than animate ones due to the energy needed to expend to keep animate ones paused. Energy expended depends on the action of the animated individual. If the individual is being still, and/or not doing anything then it is much easier to pause them for a longer time compared to someone who is performing a rigorous activity (ex: sprinting, unleashing energy and such). These rigorous activities depend on momentum. The more momentum needed to 'pause' the more amount of energy needed to 'freeze' that momentum. xxxxx↳More energy is used when pausing more than one object/person. xxxxx↳Pause can be used at a specific space. Meaning if someone were to step into that paused space, they would be paused. This requires less energy compared to stopping an individual person/object. This space can be visible if an action was being performed in that space (ex: a bird flies through that space but is now paused). The amount of time a given object/person is paused in this space is determined before making the paused space (Rebecca can make the selected space pause someone for one minute) however, it can be extended though that would require more energy xxxxx↳Other uses include pausing certain areas of the body (including her own). This has come handy when it came to stopping poisons or from preventing someone from invading her space while she was....ahem
◙Rewind
xxxxx↳This allows Rebecca to force an inanimate and/or animate object to rewind essentially. The same principles for Pause are in place for Rewind xxxxx↳More energy is consumed to rewind an individual who began with a lot of momentum vs someone who lacks it. However, during Rewind, if the Rewinded individual is going to perform a task with high momentum then more energy will be consumed (ex: rewind a sitting individual to where they were sprinting) xxxxx↳Rewinding a living creature has side effects. Those that are Rewinded will experience memory loss up to the point where they are Rewinded to. The energy that was once consumed is reverted back to the point it was when Rewind ends (Someone who had just finished a jog will have their energy recovered if Rebecca Rewinds them to the point before they began their exercise).
◙Reflection
xxxxx↳Upon touching an object/individual, Rebecca can peer into their time. Observing a past event is much easier with an object than it is with a living object. Unless a specific time is set to peer into, Rebecca will have to “swim” through a bunch of information to find a specific event or what have you. Reflection allows the user to recreate the scene as it happened in that specific time. Time is not skewed by another’s perception of the event as she is not looking at their memory but the specific....well, time that it took place. xxxxx↳It is possible for her to bring someone to view their own and/or someone else’s time while using Reflection. This can include them experiencing the whole ordeal of whatever it is their seeing (especially so if she brought the person whose time they are looking at). Bringing someone besides herself is energy consuming. The more people she brings, the more energy that is expended.
◙Pacing
xxxxx↳Rebecca can control the speed of another's time. She can determine how fast/slow they are Rewinded/Fastforwarded/Reflected xxxxx↳When this is applied to an individual's wounds, the energy needed to restore that wound is taken into account. Meaning if someone cut their hand with a knife, the amount of time will be applied. This could range from making an individual's hand older than their body or force their body's recovery rate. This can have a backlash on someone’s body if their body is recovered too quickly.
◙Self-Infliction
xxxxx↳Rebecca can inflict her ability upon herself. This can temporarily allow her to go fast, slow, pause, and so on. Energy is still consumed in this process but is minor compared to using these inflictions on someone else. However, should she choose to speed herself up, energy is still consumed. The energy needed to go from point A to point B is consumed the moment Rebecca reaches point B or whenever she chooses to stop at some point in between her destination.
◙ Resume
xxxxx↳This is mostly used after Rewind/Pause/Pacing. Depending on the choice will determine how much energy is consumed. This can allow someone to Resume the momentum an individual began with or reduce it significantly. One application is falling down a tree and heading towards the ground. With a combination of Pacing and Resume, an individual can fall down the tree and touch the ground without a sound.
◙ Paralysis
xxxxx↳This is an after effect that happens should Rebecca utilize multiple aspects of her ability in a short period of time. This period of time depends on the strength of the ability used (Reflection is lighter compared to Pausing someone for example). The Paralysis usually begins with her legs (though there have been times where it has started in other areas of her body) and will crawl up as she uses her ability without a break. This can be remedied should she take a break from using her peculiarity. So far, Paralysis cannot be Rewinded.
◙ Perception
xxxxx↳She has the capability of looking at current events. Yet, this is perhaps one of her most taxing abilities. Current events will include seeing everything in a certain radius that she has set out for herself (currently that is 5 miles around her). Normally, her eyes are more than capable of seeing things as they are. Yet, if she chooses to see things beyond her field of vision, this can be done. This does not mean the girl can pick a random spot in the world to use less energy in order to peep the event that is going on (this is advanced and has not been unlocked). At this point in time, Perception can only be used within a 5-mile radius. This ability does not allow her to say, find a specific person. She cannot go find a Professor anywhere in the world. She would only be able to see the Professor if they were within her radius. This ability will not hone in to find that specific individual. The girl would have to sort through all the events taking place within her radius. Perception slows things down so that Rebecca can digest the information. It is like seeing the Present in slow motion but using this ability, as mentioned, is very taxing. This is not used very often since the backlash of using it can manifest her paralysis instantly. There is no guarantee as to where that paralysis will manifest. The only way that this ability’s backlash can be minimized is if she shortens her radius. Every mile that she uses correlates with how severe the Paralysis will be.
◙ Time Imbudment
xxxxx↳This is where Rebecca can apply her Time Ability onto a weapon. This requires a lot less energy to use as she can control the amount of power that is given to the weapon.

-He....didn’t seem phased by my disappearance. All he noted was that things got quiet. I don’t think that will change now that I’m back. Nothing good will come out of being around me. Yoshiro should his distance and spend time with people who aren’t me. -There really isn't anything I can say about Yoshiro. I just know that he is one of the few I remember in my memories but they don't make much sense. Why is someone like him in there? Even from what little I can remember, is it even worth it? I wonder if it has to do with the promise I gave towards him. Maybe it had to do with Haruki? I think I need to keep my distance for now. -Huh...I think Mitsuru's relationship must have cooled me down. JANUARY -We bumped into each other accidentally and I learned a few things about him. I know about his peculiarity and I didn't bring it up right away. I noticed we had some classes together so I was able to talk to him about it. It wouldn't be good to keep this hidden so I tried to be discreet. One thing led to another and now...I have a friend? This is kind of strange... -Somewhere along the way, I've noticed that Kyo has been confiding in me. I'm not sure what I've done to earn that. Maybe because I learned about his perc? Al seems like a really nice person! Though...I'd feel like people would have a fun time messing with him. -We had a small camp in our living room tonight! After I asked if I could sleep with him, Al offered the camping trip idea. It was a lot of fun! We made little huts with pillows and blankets, had a flashlight out, and had smores! I wonder if he actually likes sweets? I better start bringing some cakes from work then! -I'm really glad to have someone who is really serious about studying. He helps me a lot with my classes. Like this one time! So I wanted to practice CPR on someone and I'd thought that I'd ask Alphonse. He was a big help! I was able to practice the technique pretty well till it got to the kiss of life part. Al grew red and flustered through it. It kinda made it hard to practice on him but we got through it. He said something about me taking his first kiss. Well, I'd like to tell him that there are a lot of important firsts (like the first time you ate chocolate!). I remember a time when his lips were quivering a bit because I think he was really nervous. But you know something? Alphonse's lips were pretty soft! When you look at him you might not think he has the most kissable lips, but once you actually do it then you start to like it. -He...he said "friend"! He called me a friend! Oh! I don't know how to respond because it would be nice but I feel like I need to know more >~< I want to make sure that he can't be hurt because of me and my family. Would he still want to be friends after knowing that? He seems so nice and pure and....a lot of things that I'm not. Al is my roommate, yes, but...I feel like I need time. Time to know him, to understand him and.....I feel funny. -A lot of things have kind of happened with us. It may have started with Cherry saying that he like me. I...I kind of didn't know how to respond to that. So I wanted to know if it was that "love" thing again. He told me wasn't and that he wanted us to try out being a thing. So I'm going through this dating thing again. I didn't realize it was a test! To be honest -looks around- I'm a little scared. I don't want to disappoint Cherry but I don't know if I'm the kind of person who deserves happiness. I thought there may have been a chance with Mitsuru but...well...things fell through. So I kinda don't want to hurt Cherry but I still want to be hopeful. He has been so sweet....so kind, and it really warms me up. That cozy glow he possesses makes me look forward to tomorrow. -Mmmm...I don't think that is how that particular session goes. He did make a yummy pork bento meal! It was kind of sad to see him feeling unwell. But he was really energetic later on. I'm not sure what I did. All it was a small little session. I kind of wanted to do something together but I didn't realize that it would end up with it going....mile the extra? I can't recall if that is how that saying goes. I feel like I have all the words there though. -Something must have happened to Cherry. He got worse! I only found out later when my Russian tutor brought him into the room. That day wasn't going over really well. I thought the weeks were going alright since I haven't heard the voice but that wasn't the case after Mitsuru's class. One thing happened another. First, it was the painting, then Yoshiro, and then...it just kept mocking me! But seeing Cherry feeling so unwell kind of made me feel bad thoughts about N. I know he was trying to help but I didn't like how he was moving around our space. It felt like someone was invading our home and it made me feel so uncomfortable. At least I was able to watch out for Cherry over the night. I made sure to keep an eye on him till his fever broke!

-I noted that Prom and I....I'm not sure how to word it. A lot of our past has similarities but we sort of act like cats and dog. I sure hope Ethan can do a good job and make him happy. I wonder if Prom can allow happiness to be let into his heart. I think there is still hope for him. Even if Ethan wasn't in his life, I know that he could live a normal life. He still has potential. At one point, he did have a family and there are so many people here who want to be his friend. I hope that is enough to tell him that he is wanted for him..for him. -I didn’t know Prom Prom and I had the same History Class! It was a nice distraction to talk to him in the morning. At least talking to him made me forget about what happened yesterday. I feel like the old Prom Prom is back...which kind of worries me at the same time. The thing with Ethan....I don’t think it worked out. Mmmmm.....what would a friend do in this situation? I think I read this in a book. -Who is this “he”? He mentioned about him earlier, about being in love or having feelings for them. I feel like his feelings for this “He is kind of complicated. It sounds like he doesn’t want to be found by this man but at the same time I kind of feel like he wants to be found? Does that make sense? -I’ve been wondering who this “He” person is even more lately. They keep getting sort of name-dropped when Prom Prom and I talk. I feel like this guy scares him...and it seems like “he” is the violent type. That doesn’t scare me! If my life is threatened because I’m by Prom’s side, then let this “He” guy come! His parents sound like really bad people. At least he had his aunt and grandma there with him....it makes me think, who is there for me? I've never had family there for me before and any interaction with them has only bounded me more. When will I get my freedom? I know I still don't like it but I can try to understand the complexity in it. But I'm not really sure if I put Prom Prom in a bad spot too. He told me not to worry about it and gave me such pretty things! Though, these things remind me how he used to be a very bubbly person who wore all kinds of clothes. I can't really recall him wearing a lot of frilly things when I came back or maybe he has been wearing them less and less. This makes me worried. Is he giving me these things because he is shedding off that part of his past? Maybe I'm just thinking too much... -I think something is up with him. I can't really explain it but I know that he began to lock himself up in his bedroom. Whenever I tried to go see him, he wouldn't let me in. Cherry said that I should give him his space but I'm worried. I'm concerned that if I give him that space, then he might go and disappear on me. I made and gave him a handwritten note. I'm not sure if he actually read it or not, at least I didn't find it where I last put it. -Prom seemed a little better today...? It was really hard to tell when I went to ask about his art piece. It was one where it had a caged heart, a bird, rainbow colors and stuff. Prom Prom said it was a random thing and told me not to read into it. So when Yoshiro began to exactly that....I didn't like it. Why was he talking about that painting like that? Why did his words seem to hold something I couldn't understand? I didn't like that...I didn't like that at all! I don't even want to think about Yoshiro anymore. Right now, I just want to hide under my bed and put a lot of pressure on my head. It's hard to think with all these voices in my head.

-So much has happened...where do I begin? I mean...we sort of had an argument because I couldn't accept someone being with him. That should have been the prime time to let him go. He should have continued to fly away. I'm nothing but bad news, please....please you really shouldn't be around me. -I...gave him the first but now I don't know how I should feel. Don't most people feel happy? I've seen people feel sad...but I feel a mix. I haven't been this confused in a long time. How should I feel? I want there to be a manual about these things like this. Let there be one so that I can follow the directions and act accordingly. That...isn't to say that I don't care......I think it is because I care that...he should see the bad things about me. -When we broke-up...I thought we may be able to get back together once I had finished my journey in searching for my family. It took me two weeks but it seemed like so much changed in that short amount of time. We couldn’t get back together as he is now a professor in the school. Or maybe....maybe...he didn’t...want..to...be with me...anymore. If that is the case then I wish he would have told me that. I know that he has already moved on and all I have in my mind are questions. I keep questioning what is “love”. I thought it was supposed to be a strong force that can last forever. But his “love” didn’t last for two weeks. In a month he found someone else. When I found out I felt....I felt...I felt used. He said that the future can’t be guaranteed because we might like other people, but I feel like he was talking about himself. JANUARY -I've been told to move on so I will do just that! I didn't know relationship stuff could be so confusing. Now that this is over, I have to focus on something else -The books told me that people heal differently after a break-up. Am I just weirdo though? Like today in class...he called me by my last name. I don’t know how I felt being called that in the past but now all I can think of is what my family has done to me. I don’t want to be reminded but I know he is saying that to put up that teacher and student thingy. I rather have him call me by my first name. We kinda disagreed about who should fix the giant booboo. I honestly think I should have done it! Give me a few minutes and I could make that wall as if it never got stabbed in its life! He still thought that a teacher should do it since it was his responsibility. It was....kind of nice to be able to talk to him normally without other stuff being in the way. In the end, we decided to fix the wall together. We talked about some random stuff, like why he hasn’t come to the cafe recently. I thought it may have been because of me. It would be so sad if that was the case. Mitsuru told me that he had been busy preparing for his class. Well, I’m glad I was able to give him a small dessert from the cafe! I hope the little sugar boost helps him when he needs something sweet!

Speaking about her peculiarity -The reason behind this feels difficult to explain. I'm not sure what it is with adults. It always feels like I can be a bit more honest with them. I feel like with Mitsuru....he isn't going to use me...I mean I could be wrong but he doesn't seem like that kind of guy. Her Past -I'm really surprised by this! Then again...he is an adult. January -I think he pretty much s***s d*** and takes it from his boyfriend. I don't think I can really sympathize towards a man who leaves their boyfriend to take a break from the school.
