Miyoshi village is located almost a day's travel from Uzushiogakure. The small fishing village has a population of roughly one hundred people. The civilian village thrives on fishing and has a dock located on it's edge that houses approximately fifteen boats of varying sizes.

__ Keeping tabs on Miyoshi village for the rest of the trip there was of no issue. Zhi pointed out any noteworthy details and threats that her sensory picked up on. They would soon arrive at the outskirts of the small fishing village. Zhi stopped atop of a small hill overlooking the peaceful seafront and spoke to her partner from behind her mask, "There are some suspicious people in the village down there, but what concerns me more are the larger ships that will be here by tomorrow afternoon." Her gaze was fixated on the shimmering watery horizon resting below the orange sunset. "All three are headed this way and they have many strong-bodied people aboard. I wouldn't doubt that this village would be razed by this time tomorrow- that is, if we weren't here. Heh..." Of course, despite the large opposition, Zhi wasn't even slightly worried. Sure, they could probably make it back to the village in time to warn Uzushio about the invading force, but then nobody would make it back here in time to protect anything. Zhi created several shadow clones of herself who also cloned themselves. All of the clones would disperse into the village to begin alerting the village, overseeing evacuation procedures and starting construction of basic defenses that could be used to protect Miyoshi. Zhi's clones would station themselves throughout the village as needed, and each would respond to any trouble that arose. The suspicious targets were made aware to Tetsuhiko to help with investigating and neutralizing to better their chances for tomorrow's battle. During the evacuation Zhi's clones were responsible for stopping seven kidnappings, four lootings, three murders, three robberies, and eight assaults. These people who had infiltrated the little fishing village were like a disease that just suddenly became deadly when the opportunity presented itself. Sadly, some of the actual residents were also proving problematic. Zhi and her clones continued to keep tabs on the approaching warships. Likewise, they were also being mindful of the village and surrounding areas to stay on alert. Something the lot of them all were wondering was why all of this was happening now. First a squad of VORTEX operatives get ambushed, now an invasion approaching the shores of the Land of Eddies? There had to be some kind of reason that things were this bad. From what she could tell, their next lead might be around the estate to the southern side of Awajishima. Thirteen resisted arrests, another six assaults, two attempted murders, three more lootings, three civilian fights, and one more attempted kidnapping were put to an end throughout the early nightfall in Miyoshi. Tetsuhiko probably also had his hands full with a number of other crimes that were making this preparation process all the more difficult. Hopefully things would be fully under control in time to repel the foreign threat. Zhi and her clones would put their best effort to minimize damage to Miyoshi while fighting alongside Tetsuhiko to defeat any and every enemy that stood before them. __ Tetsuhiko entered Miyoshi village with the sensor. This village was certainly much smaller than the great Uzushiogakure, but far from insignificant. Miyoshi was certainly on the map with a population worthy of boasting given the village's compact size. Tetsuhiko listened to Zhi's sensory intel and participated in helping to search and scan and scout. "You're right, but you do the talking, the stalking, the seeing, and saying." He added with a theatrically over the top tone but at an acceptable volume given their covert mission.
Now it was time to mobilize. The puppet man ran into the village alongside one of Zhi's shadow clones. He ran through one of the largest main intersections of the village. He assisted with the evacuation as per his many years of training in its procedures. Tetsuhiko was running all over the place and helped put a stop to six kidnappings, five lootings, two murders, five robberies, and seven assaults. This helped maintain order as they moved to protect the civilians from the bad guys. It was very thrilling to be of such indispensable protective service.
Tetsuhiko continued to help Zhi and her clones as they kept track of the warships. Eventually, he had to split off from them and stop quite a few crimes on his own. Maintaining public order in this kind of space was proving challenging. Fifteen resisted arrests, four assaults, three attempted murders, two lootings, three civilian fights, one attempted kidnapping, and a partridge in a pear tree were put to a stop by Tetsuhiko as night fell on Miyoshi. Tetsuhiko needed to prepare the village for the attack along with Zhi. They made an excellent team so far and were able to put an end to all of the bad guys. Miyoshi would now be significantly more capable of handling the onset of the warships with Tetsuhiko and Zhi, a couple of ace operators, in their corner.

__ As the night progressed, Zhi and her clones kept a careful eye on the nearing warships. So far, there was no change in their approach speed. From what she could tell, and as she would also update Tetsuhiko, the village of Miyoshi and the surrounding lands were well within their ability to secure and protect. Still, there was quite a bit more evacuating of the civilians to finish doing before the inevitable battle arrived; they'd continue working hard to ensure the people's safety. However, there were still several public disturbances occurring which required attention; Zhi and her clones had to put a stop to eleven more fights, three robberies, two more murders, three purse snatchers, one kidnapping, and seven vandalisms. The night gradually reached its peak when the moon was nearly at the other far horizon, and if it were bright enough one would be able to just barely see the three specks far out at sea. It was only a matter of time until they arrived, but the evacuation effort was nearly complete. Tetsuhiko would surely assist the remaining stragglers once the last bits of unrest were settled. Zhi's clones once again affirmed the stability of their prepared defenses along with setting up some traps at and around the docks. They had to stop that work now and then to put an end to straggling rioters around ten times. There were also seven more physically violent civil disputes to be broken up and eight other little crimes that Zhi and her clones handled with relative ease. __ Tetsuhiko kept an eye on the incoming battleships with Zhi. He decided to continue helping establish order during the extensive evacuation. They needed to settle the unrest before things got out of hand. He stopped ten fights, four robberies, two more murders, four purse snatchers, one kidnapping, and six vandalism instances. He continued to weave his way through the crowds to settle the problems. There was also the possibility of the opposition hiding among the citizens.
The moonlight was reflecting on the water luminously as the night marched on. There were stragglers who remained in Miyoshi that needed to be evacuated. Among them Tetsuhiko helped put a stop to ten rioters, seven violent disputes, and eight petty crimes. He also helped fortify the island with several weapons and traps in assistance to Zhi. He turned to Zhi, or one of Zhi's clones, and spoke. "Dearest Tempest, are we ready to pounce on those rogues?" Tetsuhiko asked because he needed to prepare himself for the incoming prospect of violence.

__ Things seemed to be pretty much cleared up within Miyoshi. All the locals were safe and secure away from where the battle would ensue. The many rogues and ruffians hiding throughout the village had also been dealt with, so these incoming reinforcements were out on their own. Confident in the defenses and few traps that had been prepared, Zhi eagerly pounded her left fist into her right palm as an initial response to Tetsu's question. "Heck yea, Ren. These idiots are 'bout to get a full-course whooping from the legendary Team Bastet!" Zhi and her clones prepared to engage the ship approaching at the left side, but a few were readied to delay enemies from the center ship. The plan, as briefly discussed with Tetsu, was to divide and conquer with overwhelming force. Since the little fishing port was too small for the warships to dock at, they started sending smaller boats full of their crew. Zhi and her clones raced across the water to meet the enemy head on. The black and blue blurs would make quick work of the vehicles and passengers in their way, drastically reducing the enemy's numbers with high-speed flashes of weaponry and ninja arts. Tetsuhiko could handle all the landing boats on his end and be trusted to do so with similar ease. It was convenient for them that these rogues seemed to lack any tactical sense beyond mere brute strength. All of their invading forces were sent and demolished at the same time. That only left the crews of the ships to maintain seaworthiness. Zhi's clones had either been felled or defeated in her belligerent counterattack, but it gave her an opening to board one of the warships. The preemptive assault was very much like her, though. A strong offense could easily be a great defense in times like these. The twenty crew mates of the ship put up short fights to resist her boarding, but it wasn't enough at all. Before long she was next on the central ship hoping to meet her partner to wrap everything up in the blink of an eye. The captain of the central flagship had cursed the lack of reinforcements from the abandoned southern fortress at his dying breath, giving clue to another root of this recent turmoil. __ Tetsuhiko was inspired by Zhi's energetic fist pound and battle cry. Those two were all who remained of Team Bastet it seemed. In any case, Bastet Miyamoto's legacy lived on through them. All of the criminal types and misbehavior in Miyoshi were dealt with. Their fortifications were well established which allowed for them to prepare effectively for the incoming hostiles. Tetsuhiko formed some hand signs and cast a magnetic field over the surrounding area. He used the magnetic field to lift his metal body and allow him to fly over the water. He then unsealed a large quantity of iron sand in preparation for the fight.
The iron sand then began to assault the landing boats on his side as discussed earlier with Zhi. The iron sand formed into bullets which pierced through the targets on certain boats. On other landing boats he would simply destroy it by ripping the boats to shreds with iron sand. Tetsuhiko would have no problem attacking the large selection of enemies with this amount of iron sand. The metal dust cascaded over the water to systematically eliminate the targets long before they could dock. They persisted in their assault but Tetsuhiko was able to destroy their boats all the same. He only wished he could make this even more of a theatrical show rather than just war games, but time was of the essence. Tetsuhiko then returned to the docks once all of the targets were eliminated and landed from his flight next to Zhi.

__ Well, the good news was that there weren't any more enemies in or near Miyoshi village anymore. The area of Awajishima had been cleaned up very nicely from what Zhi could tell. The other good news was that the warships were left practically unscathed so they were of use to Uzushiogakure if desired. Zhi would make one clone to go to the shelter for the evacuated people and let them know it was safe to come home again. "Nicely done, Ren!" She offered him a chipper high-five to congratulate their good work. Afterward she dispelled her clone. Apparently the clone talked to the village governor and was told that they would handle the battle's clean up as thanks. "Alright, now that that is taken care of... we should go south. The captain of that little fleet mentioned having allies in some kind of fortress over there. From what I can tell, he wasn't lying." Zhi had a messenger bird sent back to the village to report in about everything that had happened since the last report and to alert the village of their next move. __ Tetsuhiko reciprocated Zhi's high five, but hoped that her slapping his metal hand would not hurt her. Thankfully the puppet man could not feel fatigued so it made working with Zhi a lot less exhausting than he remembered. Tetsuhiko helped draft the letter for the messenger bird containing their report. His beautiful penmanship was precisely what the letter needed for optimal legibility. Tetsuhiko was a man of arts and letters trained since his childhood by his noble family to handle matters such as this. The next phase of Zhi's plan beyond little Miyoshi was certainly a good plan. In no time, they were off!

Koutetsu arrived early at the village, the sky just beginning to turn dark for the night. As he watched people unloading supplies at the docks, A young woman approached him. "Hello. Are you from Uzushio?" Koutetsu turned and addressed the young woman, "Yes. I am Koutetsu, I was sent to evaluate Menheru-kun. I arrived early and figured I could use the time to rest before we begin the diagnosis.""Mitoru. I'll take you to the inn to rest and come get you in the morning."
After being dropped off at the Inn, Koutetsu took the time to eat a small meal consisting of fish, rice, and side of Mango. As he indulged in the food, He thought back on his trip to the summoning lands, I went to a place I was unfamiliar with and forgot to expect there to be combat. I was woefully unprepared and had limited options. When I get back to Uzu, I'll have to step up my training regime. Still I was lucky to come across such welcoming creatures.
After finishing his meal, Koutetsu lay on the provided futon and quickly fell asleep. A flickering of movement and a blurred face was suddenly in front of his own. His eyes seemed glued to the lips, when suddenly it spoke, "You best not mess up!" Koutetsu awoke and rubbed his face as light streamed into the window. Getting up, he quickly changed clothes and ate a ration bar.
Heading outside, He met with Mitoru who guided him over to one of the residences in the village. "Menheru-kun, is waiting for you in his room." Koutetsu bowed slightly in acknowledgement and entered the room she pointed out. A young child of 7 or 8, sat on his bed staring out a window. Koutetsu took a seat and pulled out a piece of paper as well as a pencil to write with, "Good morning, Menheru-kun. I'm Koutetsu, How are you feeling, today?" Menheru, glanced at him but didn't say anything, before staring back out the window. Koutetsu, on a hunch, looked out the window to see kids playing down by the water. "Are they your friends, Menheru-kun?" A whispered voice replied, "I don't have friends." Koutetsu took a few notes and considered a few possibilities before replying, "Why do you feel that you have no friends?" Menheru glanced back before muttering, "No one ever asks me to play." Koutetsu nodded, before switching tracks. "Do you like Fishing?"My dad used to take me." Noting the past tense, Koutetsu continued, "Would like to join me?" Menheru seemed to straighten up, "Yes."
Together they headed down to docks with a couple of sticks and a box of fishing supplies. Sitting down at the edge, Menheru looked through his dad's old supplies, his feet swinging above the water. Suddenly he seemed to collapse back in. "What seems to be the matter?""We can't fish without any hooks. There are none in here, so we can't fish." Koutetsu looked at the boy, before playfully glancing around, and then said, "You want to know a secret?" Menheru looked up, somewhat interested. "What is it?" Koutetsu looked up at the sky before facing Menheru, "I'm a shinobi, like my father before me. While I never knew him, he left me something to remember him by. A unique ninja ability. Do you want to see?" Menheru nodded, too eager to say anything. Holding his hands, palm up, out towards the young boy, Koutetsu concentrated his chakra as the Black Steel of his bloodline exited his body and began to take the form of two fishing hooks. Menheru watched, mouth open in amazement. "That's so cool!" Menheru exclaimed.
They fished for an hour, getting a few bites. Koutetsu showed him which fish were good for eating and which were not. Menheru was excited to catch a fish. He seems energetic when engaged. So it seems to be an issue of being unable to bring himself to engage others. Perhaps due to the loss of his father, he hasn't gotten out much. Koutetsu could see the kids still playing by the water's edge and had an idea. "Menheru. How about I go introduce you to the other kids and Then while you play, I'll take the fish to Mitoru So she can get started on dinner?" Menheru withdrew a little bit, "What if they don't like me?" Kotetsu, stood up and offered a hand to the young boy. "Well then, let's give you an introduction they'll never forget."
After introducing Menheru to the kids, Koutetsu gave them all a show of various ninja techniques. Once the show was over, He asked them to include Menheru in their game. Koutetsu created a Doton Bunshin to watch over the kids and took the fish to Mitoru. "How is he?" She asked while prepping the fish. "Menheru-kun, seems to have some anxiety and difficulty in engaging the other children. Otherwise he seems well. I took him fishing and left a few more hooks in the supply box. He likes fishing, I would recommend trying to take him more often. It will help with the stress." Mitoru nodded, before speaking, "Thank you for your help, Koutetsu-san. It has been hard without his father." Koutetsu nodded but refrained from speaking. "Will you be staying for dinner?" Koutetsu declined, "I must be getting back to Uzushiogakure. But if you or Menheru ever need help, please feel free to request my assistance again." At that, Menheru ran in followed by his clone which nodded, before walking back out and collapsing into dirt. As Menheru excitedly told him and Mitoru about his new friends and everything went on, Koutetsu thought to himself, A family made whole again. I hope you grow into a fine young man, Menheru. After assuring Menheru, he would visit, Koutetsu took his leave of the family. Koutetsu made his way back to the village, with all due haste.

Four VOID agents of Saikoβs alliance darted forward for the first assault. They all had to fend off a dozen Kunai each as they parried and pushed forward. More agents then came out of the shadows, and before long fighting broke out amongst them all. Therion jumped in and engaged in a fight as he molded a string of seals. The door which barricaded the main entrance of the headquarters was sunken in by a sand sinkhole. The Hyuuga inside sighed as she turned her body to face the kid. βLooks like itβs time to go mobile.β She merged her hands together to form a few seals. The scared child expresses fear as he poofed into a cloud of smoke and was then turned into a scroll. The woman grabbed the scroll and slid him into her back pocket. She then tried her hardest to flee from the base.

Saiko went to the back of the building where he was directed to go as the Anbu attacked the building. The man wished that he could stop and help them but, he knew that his mission was to find the hyuuga and stop her from leaving. The man waited along the tree line to watch the building. As the man waited he created a mirror on the ground and clones walked out of it next to him, three in total. It took a while of waiting but, eventually he saw a woman leaving with the dull white eyes that the hyuuga treasured. Saiko formed a hand seal and appeared about one hundred feet in front of the woman. The woman would be in capable of seeing him until he was directly in front of her and even then she wouldn't be able to see his Tenketsu. "Don't know where you're going but, you're not leaving here without giving me the kid." Saiko would say to the woman. As he spoke, his stance was rather lax for the most part. It didn't even appear he was going to attack her. The command was simple and he wished she would follow it. Saiko wished no harm to the woman as a shinobi of Sunagakure to another. "You know what happens if you don't. Please don't make it go that way." Saiko told her, his voice sincere. If she insisted on a fight, he would give her one. But, little did she know he once possessed the Byakugan and knew its inner workings. Including the one spot that it was blind to. However, he did know he couldn't let her touch him. This is when the clones walked out of the tree line, none of them even registering as clones to the Byakugan. Which one was him?
The woman halted as Saiko appeared out of no where. βHow the Devil did he sneak up on me?β She wondered with a furious stare. Her active eyes detected three more of this individual approaching from the tree line. Each one was coated in a way where she lacked vision on their tenketsu points. This man was clearly why the other faction chose to attack at the drop of a hat. The woman crouched as her right hand reached behind her. βNinja Art:β She began her chant. Her hand grabbed hold of a small fan stored in her sash. βHeavenly Escape!β She shouted as the brought the fan into her hand and slammed it opened and onto the ground. Wind chakra erupted into a massive vortex which engulfed everyone. The initial Saiko would have to act fast in order to not become swirled in it. However, despite the dangers of getting lost in the storm, that was not the womanβs intention in summoning it.
Instead, as the eight foot diameter storm gathered trees and possibly Saikoβs clones, the broke trunks carried into the storm became a staircase of sorts. The masked women then followed the path of the trees and other debris as she maneuvered herself as fast as she could to the eye of the storm. If she could make it before the storm ended, then she could escape and round more reinforcements from the Daiymo. All she needed to do was flee before her attack ended.

There was a rather loud sigh from Saiko as the woman began her attack. "I apologize now, your death will be swift." The man said to her as the fan was slammed into the ground, forming his own hand seals with both hands. Suddenly Saiko burned a bright red, purple and blue. Chakra flew all around him in a spectacular display of color. The man then slammed his palms forward against the ground, a large pillar of fire raising up above and around him, protecting him from the hyuugas attack. The pillar was 10 feet in diameter, easily swallowing most of the fuuton attack. The clones reacted and moved back to get away from the not the woman's attack but, from Saiko. Once the attack was fully voided, Saiko formed a few more hand seals and unleased a couple tenketsu when suddenly a massive dome a thousand feet across and a hundred and twenty feet high appeared completely made of crystal. The woman would find herself trapped in a maze, her eyes completely useless as she would be unable to see through it or even outside of the maze. The Byakugan would only amplify the reflections that the dome created and confuse her further. "Your eyes will be useless against me." Saiko spoke, his voice echoing all around the dome as her attack was snuffed out by both his dome and the fire technique he used to destroy it. "Didn't think a Hyuuga would be so quick to run, I'll give you one more chance to give up the kid." The man more or less taunted, the voice echoing more as the clones and himself positioned themselves all around her to ambush her. However, the man was sincere in giving her one more chance.

How did this boy know ninjutsu to counter explicitly to counter her? She found herself stuck in the labyrinth devised by the man. Her eyes had no ability to pierce through the crystal walls. Her fan remained in her dominant hand as she looked cautiously around. βDo you really think that you are just in these actions? To steal the sand from the man who financed the continual survival of the village after your people and leader fled?β She asked aloud, hoping that the echoes would reach him just as they reached her. βThis boy is not a bargaining tool as everyone seems to believe he is. He is the only son to a man who, for the past five years, has had to carry the burden of protecting the village from threats such as Kogarashi and various degrees of desert trotting monsters. And while you and these traitors are trying to steal the village with force, all that the Daiymo ask was that we do not do what Suna has done bad deferred to him for village shattering decisions.β In truth the agent knew that she was rambling, and she did so because she was afraid. Thereβs never been someone who could so clearly trick her Hyuuga eyes. She wasnβt sure if this man was sincere in his attempt to kill her. Her VOID faction was willing to die for her chance to escape, and her only hope now was that someone on the outside could bust her out of this trap.
