She is always willing to try new things and meet new people.
However, she hates being held down in one place and thirsts for adventure.
She also tends to be a mediator in most conflicts, never really seeking trouble or fights.
Kai yearns to be a great leader and someday be the captain of a legendary crew.

Kai's history is a rather bittersweet one.
Similar to how a person can be part of multiple ethnicities,
Kai is a new type of creature made up of different fantasy species.
However, this does not make her as strong as one or all of them.
In fact, she only has a quarter of their power.
Yet all the weaknesses of said races.
Because of the discrimination towards her and her parents,
she decided to take refuge in the seas and become her own captain.
Kai worked hard and used her savings to buy herself a ship.
Her current goals are to find a crew to lead and prove anyone can be a heroic captain.

Wings Weaknesses - Kai needs a dry and spacious enviornment to fly as a fairy.
Imprisonment - Similar to Genie from Aladdin,
Kai can be imprisoned by a magic lamp and her only escape would be for a master to wish her free.

Kai (as a mermaid) can dehydrate and burn up.
Sonar -- Mermaids have the same range of hearing as dolphins and whales.
Sounds that can harm sea creatures will harm merfolk.
Depending on the strength of the sound, artificial sonar can knock Kai out cold.
