Nova is stronger, tougher, more endurable and more physically powerful than humanly possible.
Shockwave Clap
Using her insane strength, Nova can clap with all her might and send a shockwave between 30-50ft infront of her, this can be used to move objects or people from their current position, and interrupt those who are caught in it.
Shockwave Stomp
As above, Nova can generate and rip a shockwave on the ground around her either with her feet or fists, this has a diameter of approximately 20ft. This damages anything around her, the ground included, and sends those within it potentially far.
Do they have any notable weaknesses?
At the beginning, this ability is quite difficult for Nova to control, she breaks things and forgets her own strength and can sometimes become quite frustrated with this, almost just wishing she was 'normal'.
Nova has hidden her powers for a very long time, and as a result has not had much training to fight. She understands what she has, but not how far she can really go.
Without her strength, Nova is next to useless on the battlefield. She can attempt to protect herself, however would fail if she was unable to find safety quickly.
What is their personality like?
Nova takes a little while to warm up to people, she is a very intelligent young woman however sometimes lacks a bit of common sense. Nova tries to remain positive, however can let her emotions sometimes get the better of her, she has a strong sense of justice and this sometimes can get her into tricky situations. She is a very kind hearted soul, and although recently has become a little bit of a loner, does enjoy the company of others.
What is their backstory?
Nova has had a pretty average life, her mother was a scientist for a very secret organisation which she never took much notice in, until she went missing. At the age of eight, her mother went to work away and never came back, and to this day, Nova often wonders where she is, however is bitter towards her for abandoning her at such a young age.
Her Father brought her up as a single parent and Nova adores him and would do anything for him, however growing up was more difficult for Nova than an average young female. Nova had a bad habit of breaking things, destroying objects and really hurting others if they decided to pick on her or her friends. As she became more aware that she wasn't necessarily normal she became a little bit more reserved and tried to stay far away from trouble.
At the age of thirteen, Nova was walking with her friends to school when she witnessed a car that had driven off the road and got itself stuck in a river, without thinking, she saved the people's lives in the car by lifting the car out - stunning everyone involved. When they became terrified of her rather than happy, she ran and didn't stop, learning to dislike what she was, but to maintain as positive an outlook throughout her 'normal' life.
Nova has been followed before by people who want to recruit her to things, as they have caught on to what she can do. She hides her power to the best of her ability and continues to live as normal a life as possible. The only way she has ever said she would use her powers is if the world needed them, which it just might sooner than she thinks.
