✦ True Discernment and Manipulation - By observing an object over a short period of time, Cassie can identify its component elements (i.e. iron, copper, etc.). From there, if she is in physical contact with it, she can extract from the object an element of her choice, manipulating it to her will. She cannot create matter, but only manipulate what exists there to her own design (i.e. if she touches something like an anvil or a breastplate, she can rework it into a hammer or sword). However, just as vampires in legends cannot enter a house unless invited, Cassie cannot manipulate objects which belong to others without their express permission (i.e. she cannot destroy a sword belonging to someone swinging at her, or alter a necklace which someone of whom she is jealous possesses).

Bio: The illegitimate daughter of an alchemist, he refused to recognize her as such for the first several years of her life. Nevertheless, she frequented his shop, learning the trade even without him properly teaching her. When she was in her mid-teens, she was assailed by a Vampire, who used her as a food source, leaving her on the edge of death when it was done. It was then that she herself changed, herself becoming a creature of the night. She suddenly vanished from her home town for a few years as she grew accustomed to her new light. Eventually, she returned to her human home and cornered her father, convincing him by force to truly recognize her as his daughter, allowing to finally identify herself by her father's family name. As soon as she earned that right, she drank him dry, leaving his shriveled corpse behind, and left the town for good. Nowadays, she lives at Midnight Manor, along with most vampires. She still does not know if any of the people with whom she lived was the one who fed on her, nor does she much care.
Personality: On the surface, she appears to be carefree, perhaps even simple due to her inability to pay attention to a person for very long. Except maybe during those moments in which she sleeps, she cannot be seen without a smile on her face, especially when she is learning about tools that are lying around, and possibly tinkering with a mechanical device. Her childhood passion for learning her father's craft still lives on in her heart, though she does not speak much about those days long past. She lives in the moment, for the most part. In modern days, she might be classified as a "social butterfly" due to her passion for going out and meeting others, even with her lackluster sense of charisma.
