【The Tailed Beasts】'The Talied Beasts,' or 'Bijuu,' are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of Six Paths out of the chakra from the Ten-Tails. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine.
【The Jinchūriki Forms】All jinchūriki are able to use certain abilities granted to them by their tailed beasts. As they get older and they gain (or lose, as the case may be) control over their tailed beast's power, they are also able to transform into their tailed beast to varying degrees, granting them capabilities increasingly closer to the tailed beast itself.
Initial Jinchūriki Form: By simply tapping into their beast's chakra, a jinchūriki begins their initial transformation. They are surrounded by a layer of red, wispy chakra granting them enhanced strength, speed and healing. It is also possible for a jinchūriki to enter this state without chakra visibly emanating from them, instead just gaining the physical alterations. The beast's chakra supplements the jinchūriki and they are able to manipulate the chakra to a certain extent. For example: Utakata can form it into waves and blasts while Naruto can generate shockwaves through punches and roars. This particular chakra conversion to enhance the jinchūriki's power is varied depending on the jinchūriki in question; it is the roleplayer's responsibility to note any enhancements the initial jinchūriki form has on their character's combat. The jinchūriki who undergoes such a phase will find that their physical being will become slightly altered. For example: Naruto's hair also grows longer and spikier, and the whisker-like marks on his cheeks widen and thicken. Physical transformations are left to the roleplayer's discretion, but will be judged fairly by a moderator to see if it is a reasonable alteration.
Effects: 1. +2 CP Per Tail. 2. +2 Stat points go to [Force]. 3. -2 Stat points go to [Intelligence].
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Version One:Forms a dense shroud of chakra around the jinchūriki. The shroud, a translucent red with bubbles of chakra (reminiscent of boiling liquid) forming all along it, provides a degree of physical protection, but can also harm the user if used to a certain extent. The physical changes experienced in the initial transformation become more pronounced in Version 1 forms; again, this will be explained by the roleplayer in question and judged accordingly by a moderator. The shroud that encompasses the jinchūriki vaguely resembles the corresponding tailed beast; paws of chakra form around their hands and, in the case of Killer B, chakra-horns form on his head. Because chakra is malleable, the shroud can extend beyond the reach of the jinchūriki, often used to create chakra-arms that allow them to interact with their environment.
The most significant manifestation are the tails that sprout from the jinchūriki's body, up to the maximum number of tails that the corresponding beast possesses. As with the chakra-arms, these tails can aid the jinchūriki by grasping to their surroundings. For each tail produced, the jinchūriki gains an incrementally greater boost to speed, strength, and chakra. For jinchūriki who have not learned how to control their tailed beast, it is the beast's chakra that surrounds them. The beast's chakra will tend to be harmful: individuals near the jinchūriki will experience a slight physical discomfort; those who come into contact with the shroud will suffer a painful burn wherever they touch it; the jinchūriki themselves suffer an increasing amount of corrosion to their body that can eventually damage body parts beyond the point of use. This shroud is typically acquired through a growing rage and/or the weakening of the seal that keeps the beast within their body, and consequently leaves the jinchūriki less in control of their body with each additional tail. While a jinchūriki has never been observed to completely lose control of themselves in a Version 1 form, they become more animalistic and aggressive. One advantage of this is that the shroud can act on its own, responding to threats the jinchūriki may not be aware of.
A secondary means of entering a Version 1 state is demonstrated by Killer B, who uses his own chakra in the shroud's formation. While Naruto has been able to communicate with Kurama and ask for a donation of chakra for several years, this always carried adverse consequences such as diminishing self-control and harmful after-effects of the chakra. After Naruto befriended Kurama, these drawbacks were removed and he can use Version 1 for himself, and is able to transfer it to others, thereby granting them all of the form's benefits. The chakra in this form is also capable of repelling the likes of Amaterasu.
Effects: 1. +4 CP Per Tail. 2. +3 Stat points go to [Force]. 3. -3 Stat points go to [Intelligence].
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Version 2: It is when the tailed beast's chakra being converted into a humanoid shape, granting the jinchūriki an edge in battle without completely releasing the beast itself. Using the jinchūriki's body as a sort of endoskeleton, a dark red, nearly black layer of chakra envelops them. The physical manifestations of the corresponding beast that are vaguely present in Version 1 states become far clearer in Version 2, in a way fully reproducing the beast in miniature: muscle mass increases and beast-specific attributes such as shells and ears become clearly defined. Because the shroud forms so tightly around them, features of the jinchūriki may be identifiable in Version 2, such as the hat and furnace that Han wears.
Entering Version 2 creates a great deal of energy, producing craters beneath the jinchūriki and destroying any restraints that might have been placed upon them beforehand. Strength, speed, and chakra are once again increased beyond the levels of the previous forms, the shroud remains a reliable defense against attacks, and other features, such as chakra-arms, are still accessible. Unlike how the number of tails in Version 1 can measure the jinchūriki's strength, there is no observable correlation between the number of Naruto's Version 2 tails and his destructive capabilities. Likewise, although all jinchūriki gain unique, heightened abilities that bring them even closer to their corresponding beast. These transformations seem to be triggered by rage.
Effects: 1. +5 CP Per Tail. 2. +4 Stat points go to [Force]. 3. -4 Stat points go to [Intelligence].
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Partial Transformation: Rather than fully transform into their respective beast, a jinchūriki can isolate the transformation to parts of their body. Instead of appearing as translucent or dark chakra, these partial transformations fully resemble the beast's own limbs, having fur, scales, etc. The jinchūriki reincarnated and controlled by Tobi each briefly produce a tail of their respective tailed beasts, with the sole exception being Fū, whom produced two for flight. Fū was also able to achieve this in life, in the anime.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Tailed Beast Mode: In principle, all jinchūriki can fully transform into the tailed beast sealed within them when the seal breaks and they entirely lose control over the beast. However, doing so results in the jinchūriki's death. By either subjugating their tailed beast or learning to work in unison with it, a jinchūriki can become a full-scale replica of the beast with complete access to its natural strength and abilities. If they choose, the jinchūriki can pass control of this form to the beast itself. Tailed Beast Mode is devastatingly powerful and poses an untold risk of collateral damage. It is for this reason that Killer B was forbidden to use the form under normal circumstances, as it could easily destroy an entire ninja village if left unchecked. The most dangerous and powerful ability available to this mode is the Tailed Beast Ball.
Yugito is seen willingly transforming into Matatabi. Her size in this state was far smaller than when Tobi forced her transformation during the war, the exact amount of control she has is unknown. That said, in the anime she seemed to be able to transform with very little effects to herself as she was able to provide a paw print for Nekobaa's Paw Encyclopaedia. Also in the anime, Utakata was able to fully transform into Saiken to absorb the Tsuchigumo kinjutsu after asking for the slug's aid.
Effects: 1. Tail Number x Chakra Pool 2. Tail Number x Force (Power) 3. Max Intelligence of 1

Village Affiliation: Sunagakure
Appearance: Shukaku is a sandy-brown colored tanuki, with black (dark blue in the anime) cursed seal markings all over its face, body, and tail. It has a jagged, concave mouth with no tongue, and the sclerae of its eyes are black, with yellow irides and pupils that each takes the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it. During the last days of the Sage of Six Paths, Shukaku in its youth looked the basically same as it does presently, only much smaller with shorter ears and more spaced out markings.
Personality: Shukaku is characterized as a childish and short-tempered individual, and often speaks in a bombastic and incoherent manner, giving it the demeanor of a drunkard. It uses "ore-sama" when referring to itself, as it expresses great pride in its own abilities, especially its sealing techniques and defenses. According to Gaara, prior to its introduction, Shukaku relishes the opportunity to kill anyone in sight, even more so during a full moon. Shukaku has also shown to harbor a bitter grudge towards Kurama due to the fox's beliefs that the tailed beasts' strength is measured by the number of tails, therefore viewing the tanuki as the weakest. Because of this, Shukaku strives to find any opportunity to surpass its arrogant rival. Shukaku's hatred towards humans led it to spark fear in Gaara, reminding him that if he goes into a deep sleep, the tanuki would possess his body and murder all humans, resulting in Gaara's developing insomnia. Shukaku once had that similar attitude toward Bunpuku, but when its jinchūriki treated the tanuki as an equal, an impressed Shukaku complimented him by comparing him to the Sage of Six Paths. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Shukaku eventually saw Gaara in a similar light, being reminded of Bunpuku.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be a Sunagakure Nin. 2. Must have have proficiency in Fūton and Doton. 3. Must suffer from chronic insomnia brought on by Shukaku's influence. 4. Must wield a gourd filled with specially-made sand; the size of the gourd varies.
Benefits: 1. +50 to Chakra Pool. 2. +1 in Force & +1 in Defense per tail. 3. Possesses the innate ability to manipulate sand. 4. Is capable of creating more sand by mixing sand particles with some earth, virtually making sand out of any earthly substance.

Village Affiliation: Kumogakure
Appearance: Matatabi is two-tailed, like a bakeneko, and is completely engulfed in flames, like a Kasha (though it's flames are a animated cobalt blue and black). It also has heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils. When forced to transform by Tobi, Matatabi increased in size compared to when Yugito unleashed it. During the last remaining days of the Sage of Six Paths' life, Matatabi was a young flaming kitten much smaller than its present-day self, but was still much larger than the Sage.
Personality: Compared to most of the tailed beasts, Matatabi has shown to be respectful and polite towards others, speaking in a formal manner using "watashi" (私) when referring to itself and using honourifics when addressing Naruto while introducing itself to the young shinobi.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be a Kumogakure Shinobi 2. Must be Proficient in Katon
Benefits: 1. +60 to chakra pool 2. +1 to Force and +1 to speed per tail. 3. The ability to extend nails into claws and use them as weapons 4. Able to use fire blue in color, more powerful than normal

Appearance: Isobu primarily resembles a large turtle, but with a crab-like shell, spikes all over its body, and three shrimp-like tails. Under its shell, it has red, muscle-like tissue. It has a pair of human-like arms and hands, but no hind-legs. His face is concealed between a large forehead and lower jaw — both of which have spikes. Its eyes are red and have crimson pupils. In the anime, the eyes are red with yellow pupils.
Its right eye is constantly closed. In the anime, Guren speculated this was because its eyes were the only soft parts of its body, being heavily-armoured, and thus kept one eye closed to cover more vulnerable spots. During the last remaining days of the Sage of Six Paths, Isobu was essentially much the same in appearance, albeit smaller in size with shorter spikes around its body, but was still many times larger than the Sage.
Personality: Isobu speaks in a timid manner, referring to itself as "boku" (ボク) which is usually used by young boys. Seeing that it had worked with Yagura, it's assumed that Isobu isn't as rude or outspoken as some of the other tailed beasts.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be a shinobi Yukigakure 2. Must be able to use Suiton
Benefits: 1. +70 Chakra Pool 2. +1 Force and +1 to Ninjutsu per tail. 3. Able to use Coral Jutsu

Appearance: Son Gokū is a red-furred and green-skinned monkey, with a body-build of a gorilla. It has eyes with yellow irides and white pupils, spike-like protrusions along the length of its tails, elongated blunt fangs, and two long horns curving upwards on its forehead like a crown (both its fangs and horns are dark-tipped). In its mouth, Son doesn't have a tongue, but has an opening that is shaped like a dome volcano. During the last remaining days of the Sage of Six Paths, Son was much smaller and leaner with smaller fangs.
Personality: Son Gokū is a very prideful tailed beast, as it detests being called by the name "Four-Tails" and boasts about its lineage. It uses "ore" (オレ) when referring to itself.
It also hated humans, due to the fact that humans had enslaved it, and believes that apes are more intelligent than humans. However, when talking about the Sage of Six Paths, it showed him great respect, being that also had, apparently, a very deep relationship with him, never forgetting his final words. It also seems to have taken a liking to Naruto Uzumaki, as it was moved by his actions for truly trying to save it from being controlled by Tobi and even gave him some of its chakra before being sealed away. He also treats his fellow tailed beasts with much respect, as he addresses them by their name, as seen with Kurama. Son also has a high amount of respect for those who respect the tailed beasts.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be an Iwagakure Shinobi 2. Must have Katon and Doton 3. Must radiate an unnatural heat [Not Harmful but noticeable]
Benefits: 1. +80 Chakra Pool 2. +1 to Force and +1 to Taijutsu per tail. 3. Access to the Kekkei Genkai Lava 4. With training is able to transform arms into magma

Village Affiliation: Kusagakure
Appearance: Kokuō primarily resembles a white horse, but with a dolphin's head. It has two pointed long horns and three (two in the anime) shorter horns in front.
The ends of its horns, hooves, and tails are tan, with some of the same-coloured spots before the tan areas of its horns and hooves. It also has red markings under its dark blue-green eyes. During the last remaining days of the Sage of Six Paths, Kokuō was much smaller than it is now and its horns were also shorter
Personality: Kokuō seems to be a quiet and reserved individual. Though it does not speak much, Kokuō uses the rather old-fashioned "watakushi" (私) when referring to itself, causing it to come across as very polite. It also has pride as a tailed beast, being dismayed at being controlled and being used as Tobi's puppet during the Fourth Shinobi World War. After the end of the war, Kokuō declared that it wants to seclude itself in the forest, which implies it is a pacifistic individual, not wanting confrontations anymore.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be a member of the Kusagakure shinobi 2. Must know Suiton and Katon
Benefits: 1. +90 to Chakra pool 2. +1 To Speed and +1 to Defense per tail. 3. The ability to use the Kekkei Genkai Futton [Boil Release] 4. The ability to propel around using steam

Appearance: Saiken is an enormous white — with a light blueish tint — bipedal slug with stubby arms, feet and six long tails. It has two prominent optical tentacles (eyes) and hole-like openings as a mouth. Its entire body is covered in a thick, slimy substance.
When seen during the last days of the Sage of Six Paths' life, Saiken was much smaller than its present-day self, but was still much larger than the Sage.
Personality: Though much has not been seen of Saiken's personality, the giant slug uses "ore" (オレ) when referring to itself, "ore" being a boastful way of saying "I". It also speaks with a dialect which may possibly be Ōsakaben in origin. In the anime, Saiken also seemed to be kinder and not as self-serving and malicious as most other tailed beasts, as when Utakata asked for its help to save Hotaru it seemed to willingly comply; and later it simply receded back into Utakata without trying to take him over. However it was not above killing for self preservation, as seen when it killed Harusame when he attempted to extract it from its jinchūriki. In the anime, it speaks with a high pitched voice and appears to be very energetic.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be from the Kirigakure or a smaller nation 2. Must know Suiton 3. Must have produce bubbles leisurely
Benefits: 1. +100 to Chakra Pool 2. +2 to Ninjutsu and +1 to Intellegence per tail. 3. Can use Corrosive Acid in their Jutsu 4. Is able too use Bubble Jutsu

Appearance: Chōmei resembles a blue, armoured kabutomushi (カブトムシ, rhinoceros beetle), with six of its seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of its abdomen. The stem of the tail is green but the wings are orange. Its eyes seem to be covered by a helmet-like skull, from inside of which, an orange glow can be seen. It also has spike protrusions on its shoulders and a row of slits on each shoulder, and six legs — three on each side. The legs are also covered by the blue armour, with the exception of extreme ends which are green in colour. It has two pincers with three parts on its face, covering a mouth full of sharp teeth. On its back behind its head, it has a large two sectioned horned protrusion. During the last remaining days of the Sage of Six Paths, Chōmei was just in its larval stage of development, but still had its tails.
Personality: Chōmei seems to have a happy, go-lucky personality — which it seemingly shares with its jinchūriki as shown when it introduced itself to Naruto, referring to itself as "Lucky Seven Chōmei" (ラッキーセブン重明, Rakkī sebun Chōmei), which might be an allusion to the fact that it has seven tails and the number seven having long been seen as a lucky as well as a happy number. It also had a habit of using the word lucky in conversation, reflecting its personality.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be from a minor Village
Benefits: 1. +110 to chakra pool 2. +2 to Speed and +2 to Stamina per tail. 3. The ability to sprout wings from the user's ankles and maneuver through the air

Village Affiliation: Otogakure
Appearance: Gyūki is an ushi-oni with four long horns on its head, similar to that of a Jacob sheep. As a tailed beast, it is extremely massive, dwarfing entire forests and towers over large rock formations and buildings and matching the Giant Squid in size. The lower left part of its horns was permanently sliced off in a battle with A, and the right horns were destroyed by its own point-blank Tailed Beast Ball when fighting the Ten-Tails. It also has straight teeth, one of which was blown off during the point-blank Tailed Beast Ball. Following the Fourth Shinobi World War, it grew another tooth, along with its horns (albeit not completely). Gyūki also has a muscular upper-body structure, with a hunched back similar to an American bison, arms with spiked protrusions on the elbows, and hands with opposable thumbs like that of a human. Instead of hind-legs, its lower half consists of its eight tails, which resemble the cephalopod arms of an octopus. These tails will grow back in the event they are sliced off. During the last remaining days of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, Gyūki was smaller and its horns were much shorter.
Personality: Gyūki is characterised as a tough and serious individual. It uses "ore" (オレ) when referring to itself and often speaks in a somewhat rude dialect. Gyūki was also shown to have a good analytical ability, as it told Killer B that if he left Ponta and Sabu and ran away from them, Kisame Hoshigaki and his water dome would follow him and they (Sabu and Ponta) would be freed. Although Gyūki mentioned that it and its brethren disliked Kurama for its arrogance and belief that their strength are based on their number of tails,[13] it insisted that was no reason for not helping Naruto Uzumaki to control Kurama's power, hinting a benevolent side.[14] Since then, both Gyūki and B have taken a liking to Naruto.
In the past, Gyūki was infamous in Kumo for being wild and violent, as it went on countless rampages whenever its former jinchūriki would lose control of it. This was most likely due to its hatred against humans for oppressing and sealing it away many times. Gyūki maintained this behaviour until it was sealed within B, who would later change it after he bested it in one-on-one combat. Since then, Gyūki's personality has become much more relaxed, becoming close friends with B; even allowing him to sit on top of its muzzle while talking to it leisurely. However, B tends to annoy Gyūki to comical effect, as its no-nonsense demeanour often contrasts with B's tendency to goof off whenever he likes, adding fuel to Gyūki's irritation to its vessel.
As a result, Gyūki is not above bad-mouthing B and is also known to reprimand him in serious occasions. This was seen when Gyūki criticised B for rapping in his fight with Kisame when he should have been completely focused on their opponent, and later when it comically bumped B in the head when the latter started to mention in a perverted manner how Yugito's black receivers were embedded in her left breast and when Obito disappeared B was wondering if he escaped only for Gyūki to tell B to find him. This somewhat contradicts the original point of having a jinchūriki which is to control a tailed beast, but Gyūki seems to be more of the one in control than B. Because of this, Gyūki appears to be much more noteworthy than B as far as responsibility is concerned. Nonetheless, Gyūki formed a very strong bond with B, as even after being extracted from its jinchūriki, the tailed beast severed a piece of itself to help sustain B's life. Following its release from Kaguya, Gyūki expressed a desire to return to B, noting it had gotten used to his awful rapping and felt odd not hearing it.
Gyūki's relationship with its B's predecessor Blue B was unknown in the manga, other than the fact it would pounce on the "hole" in Blue B's heart and assume control over him. In the anime, however, Gyūki stated it had high hopes for Blue B, indicating it bore no ill will towards its former host.
Prerequisites: 1. Must be a Shinobi from the Otogakure 2. Must have linege or Ties to the Kage themselves
Benefits: 1. +140 to Chakra pool 2. +2 to Force and +2 to Speed per tail. 3. Able to use Ink style Ninjutsu 4.

Village Affiliation: Amegakure
Appearance: Kurama is a kitsune with nine long swiping tails. It has red-orange fur with black fur around its eyes that stretches to its ears, red irises with black slits for pupils and the upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands. During the last remaining days of Hagoromo, Kurama was much smaller in size, but still dwarfing the Sage. Its overall appearance was leaner and softer while less-defined in shape with a rounder face, akin to a fox cub. Over time, Kurama's size increased tremendously, roughly equaling the Hokage Rock, and Gamabunta being only the size of Kurama's torso. Its pupil alone is bigger than a tall human. When Minato separated Kurama's Yin chakra and Yang chakra, it was split into two entities, both of which are shrunken more than half its original size,[43] yet still roughly the size of other massive tailed beasts.[44] While the two are basically identical to the other, Yang-Kurama retains its original colouring while Yin-Kurama is darker coloured.
While manifesting its Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, the fox's entire body takes on a golden colour, its whiskers are much thicker, and black circular markings appear on its shoulders, stomach, as well as the front and back of its paws. Black lines also run the length of its spine, arms, legs and tails.Additionally, while Naruto is in Sage Mode, Kurama gains similar thick dark patches circling around its eyes. Upon gaining Naruto's Six Paths Chakra, Kurama's Tailed Beast Mode avatar grew to tremendous proportions, roughly the same size as Sasuke Uchiha's Six Paths Chakra-enhanced Complete Body — Susanoo, with its tails becoming bushier. After both halves of Kurama were sealed into Naruto, the fox was restored to its original size.
Personality: Kurama is a cynical and shrewd individual, along with a somewhat twisted sense of humour. It uses "washi" (ワシ) when referring to itself, which is generally used by older men. Kurama expresses great pride in its power, believing itself to be the strongest of the tailed beasts due to its belief that their strength is determined by their number of tails, which earned Kurama nothing but disapproval from its brethren, especially Shukaku.[28] Conversely, Kurama openly acknowledged the fact that it alone doesn't stand a chance against the Ten-Tails, and from its past experience with Madara, knew full well he is not an opponent to be underestimated, even though he was seemingly pushed into a corner at the time. However, it does easily get annoyed when Naruto uses a power other than its own, claiming its jinchūriki needs no other power than its own. It is also shown that Kurama deeply cares about Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, viewing him with great respect and even shed tears after the Sage had imparted his final words to them
Prerequisites: 1. Must be of Amegakure 2. Must not have a Doujutsu 3. 4.
Benefits: 1. +170 to Chakra pool 2. +5 to Force and +5 to Speed per tail. 3. Wound regeneration [ +10 to chakra and stamina pool when restoring chakra from fights and/or injuries ] 4. Detects negative emotions
