Something stirs you away from your task at hand. Perhaps you were sleeping and were suddenly awoken. Perhaps you were protecting your neighborhood, or perhaps you were turning in energy for your weekly quota. No matter what it was you were doing just moments ago, you were being summoned. The song is off-key, lilting and uneasy, but it seems to be calling you. It is a hum, a tune you can’t quite place, but know it sounds off. You can feel it in your body and deep in your mind. Almost as if sleepwalking, many begin making their way through the city and towards the park where this strangeness all started. Fifty-seven starseeds have been gathered at the base of the mysterious monument, drawn here by an eerie, bone-deep song no one else can perceive. You are milling about, almost waiting… but for what? There are enemies and allies among your ranks, but you feel no adrenaline in your veins, no desire to attack. Something seems to be lulling you to an odd dreariness. The moon is high in the sky on this crisp and clear night. Without warning, the monument begins to glow with a bright, golden light. The light is warm but smells of ozone and static dances across your bare skin. Soon, you are all but blind and lose all feeling in your limbs. You are drifting… ...and when you awaken, you are no longer in Destiny City as you knew it. Sandy beige walls pulse with electrical veins, a mechanical hum heavy in the air. You and your now-comrades are in a large room, devoid of doors. Slitted windows align one wall, but some kind of forcefield seems to be keeping you inside. You can see out, gazing upon the moonlit park you had left behind. [THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT]You’re trapped inside the Monument! How did you get here? You’re not really sure, but there doesn’t seem to be any means of escape… for now. The following rules will apply to this event only! You cannot power down while inside the Monument! You cannot leave the Monument by any means you can conceive of. There are no doors leading outside, and Chaos-aligned agents and senshi cannot teleport outside, even if they can clearly visualize where they would like to go. They will not expend the energy even if they tried to teleport, however. TL;DR - no teleportation, nothing happens. Chaos agents, corrupted senshi and Dark Mirrors cannot drain energy. Dark Mirror Senshi cannot mirrorwalk outside the monument or travel to Mirrorspace, and they cannot summon any wraiths. Likewise, Knights and Senshi cannot travel to their homeworld or the moon. You are effectively disconnected for the time being. Knight Summons cannot be used. You can go through the motions, but just like with teleportation, nothing happens. You do not lose any energy for trying. Personal Youma cannot be summoned into the Monument. They cannot hear your call. Knight Aspects are on the fritz and do not appear to work unless specifically noted. You can only interact with the people in your team for the time being. As far as you’re aware, the other people gathered at the Monument with you have effectively disappeared. Cellphones, tablets and other communication devices will work, BUT - only with the people in your team. You cannot call friends if they are not present with you. Your calls and messages simply bounce back.
[SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS] Mauvians are trapped in the highest form they’ve achieved. This means, if they have access to a human or senshi form, they are stuck in it. Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams for the duration of this event (to aid in combat checks!) Our Resident 4th Stage Characters are also stuck in their highest form. This doesn’t apply to Camelot exactly, but… Sorry, Leto. You’re stuck with the big ol’ wings. No shifting between 3rd and 4th stage here. 4th stage characters can only use their special abilities (like crystal powers and Aspects) one time, unless specified otherwise. Chaos agents and senshi can teleport within the Monument itself, but even then, only to rooms you’ve been to and currently have access to. The same applies to Dark Mirrors who find a reflective surface. No Mirrorspace, but you can get from one room to another on a reflective surface if you can find one. Youma DO NOT hunger while in the Monument! Something about it seems to satiate the youma’s need to feed.
More may be added as needed! [EXTRA SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS]This event is meant to be fun above all else. If you don’t quite have the time in your day to fill out a post with tons of content, that’s totally fine. We appreciate you being here and trying your best! If you are using this event for growth requirements, please make sure you write at least 500 words!

[NUMBER GENERATION/DICE ROLLING & HP TOTALS]Dice rolling will be used for task-based events! Your HP and numbers to generate are dependent on your character’s rank for combat purposes! These will be reiterated for each step of the climb, so don’t worry if you forget - I’ll keep them posted in easy-to-find spots in case it gets confusing. HP TOTALS: Chibi Senshi/Cats (cat form): 40HP (generates numbers 1-8 for combat) Stage 1 Characters/Cats (human form): 50HP (generates numbers 1-10 for combat) Stage 2 Characters/PC Youma/Cats (senshi form): 60HP (generates numbers 11-20 for combat) Stage 3 Characters: 70HP (generates numbers 21-30 for combat) Stage 4 Characters: 80HP (generates numbers 31-40 for combat)
This list will be reposted before every combat, so don’t worry about memorizing these numbers! [The first step of the climb will begin in roughly 24 hours!]

Lace wasn't sure what was happening but the kitten had been drawn to the tower with her partner and now they were...stuck inside?
The corrupt guardian circled around Sera, eyeing all of the other people in here, INCLUDING order people and kept close to her captain.
"Seraphanite.....what do we do?"
Were they stuck in this tower?

Just before, Yolanda Hydrus had been in bed; freshly home from visiting her cousin to discuss the coming meeting with a new cousin -- the daughter of an uncle they both barely knew, and she had been in her soft warm jammies, curling up in bed with her big fluffy unicorn plush for the night (and who didn't sleep with plushies, horrible monsters? Really.) and falling asleep when she heard the song. Yolie answered of course too-- rousing her from being comfortable in bed.Slowly, she began moving, fingers fumbling to graspo her henshin pen as she changed into Sailor Dubhe in as worn stupor, and entered the park. And then... And then... She wasn't sure how to describe the next events, only that she was elsewhere, with sandy walls and views and... "Oh dear..." Sailor Dubhe blinked, slowly rubbing the side of her head with a rather tired, if confused expression. "Oooohh dear. What's going on?" She frowned right then, looking around at the assembling faces, and frowning. Not a single familiar soul, and her here without a clue. Well, some reminded her of Laodica, but Dubhe wasn't sure they'd be friendly. Others... Well. Whatever they were, she wasn't being assaulted, and the basic tiered senshi decided to roll with, as her mind coined it, epic ********, and beamed brightly, waving., "Oh, hi!" No reason to be rude to anyone appearing, right?! Quote: Dubhe is open to everyone. She's super friendly!

DMS Sailor Abstracta
Something wasn't right in the world. Something felt off. Something...
Ellenore Blackwall -- Seance, to those who knew her well-- considered herself well-attuned to the weird. It was part of who she was, scored onto her soul. Starseed. That was the word, she'd found out. It was so much more than she'd ever known. It was magical...
It was calling to her.
Something like this would generally warrant a call to one of her two best friends, no matter the hour. Her phone was left on the nightstand, entirely ignored in favor of a henshin pen she grabbed without thinking. That night Seance would disappear from her room like the lost girl in a dozen different scary stories. She would wander out into the night barefoot, making it just far enough away from home for safety's sake before drawing the magical disguise of her alter ego around her.
When she arrived it was to the company of fifty-six other entities-- she noticed not a single one. There was only the monument and it's gentle glow, bathed in the light of the moon. There was only the song, drawing her in and lulling her sweetly even as it set her on edge. There was only....
Sailor Abstracta of the Dark Mirror Court began to drift and when she woke again it was with a start, heart pounding in her chest. The thrum of electricity was around her, the sound of something mechanical weighing in around her. Now instead of fifty-six others there were ten, yet even that was beyond her current perception as she stared blankly.
The teen shivered after a moment of stasis, pale blue eyes wide and filled with wonder; maybe a bit of reverence and a healthy dose of apprehension. She wasn't afraid-- not yet, at least. Fear would come later. Fear would come when she realized that there was no way out...

Super Sailor Ananke Senshi of Portals
Ananke pressed a finger to the side of her cheek... she wondered how she spaced out enough that she didn't realize she had been with other people... when had she transformed... exactly?
Looking around she crossed her arms and mumbled. "...Another warped space?" It was common to run into these at this point... but she always had to wrap her head around it at the Senshi of portals... it just seemed like something she was supposed to understand.

Sailor Elara
When her eyes opened, Sailor Elara knew she was in trouble.
She couldn't remember going to sleep - only that she was on patrol one moment, then waking up in a strange room the next. Her guard was up as she stared around the room, sizing up the others with her in the doorless, strange room.
Wait... how could a room have no doors?
How did they get there?
Her cell phone surfaced from her subspace (Itsuki would have to explain it to her again later how that was even possible) but she wasn't able to contact anyone from the outside world. Or maybe they didn't hear her. Or maybe they didn't care?
Either way, this didn't look good... but at least, judging from the expressions on everyone else's face..... she wasn't the only one confused in all of this?

Erytheia / 60 HPWhat was that song? It seemed to dance in the air. Twist and turn. Yet it was leading somewhere like some pied piper with a tune only star seeds could hear. A song for him. Erytheia scarcely knew how he got here, or when, or why. All he knew is that many others were here too. All listening. All hearing the same song. Before him was a monument and it towered over the area. It was tall, imposing. Mysterious. It had to be the source. But how to enter? He didn't get to ask or investigate. It seemed the monument had its own plans. Ones he couldn't see just like the door he must be going toward. Drifting, as if in a dream, until he was inside it. Inside it and with no way out. ✪

It was one thing when a Negaverse agent kidnapped her (because that seemed to happen an awful lot), or MirrorSpace sucked her into itself or... Well, okay none of those things were normal. But this? This was definitely even less not normal. It was like, super not normal. She really, really wished that things would stop absorbing her into them and making her all weird and sleepy and confused. A normal patrol would just be swell at this point. But a normal patrol this was not, and it didn't seem like it would be turning into one any time soon. Summoning her phone to her hand, she quickly typed up a quick message to three Senshi - Glauke, Oberon and Chara - to let them know she was safe (for now) and would be home soon (eventually). The only problem was, the moment she hit send all of the messages bounced back to her. Glauke would be losing his mind if she disappeared again. He'd eventually run out of excuses to tell their parents if she kept this up! How long had she been gone already anyway? She lost track of time once the bright light took her... Shrugging her shoulders, she allowed her phone to disappear back into subspace and took a look around herself- really taking in her surroundings. ... Andddd there was nothing to take in. The room was boring and beige, with no doors, and small slitted windows. Pressing her nose to the glass, she gazed outside of the park that the group had left behind. "Helloooooo?," she tried to call out through the glass, even though she had a feeling no one would )or could) hear her anyway. Quote: Skadi is open for interaction!

[TEAM HEXAGON] As you milled about the beige-colored room, gazing out at Destiny City you left behind, something in the obelisk begins to shake. It’s deep and hidden but you feel the shockwaves like a small earthquake in your room. No debris is falling from the ceiling, but the light inside the room seems to dim slowly over time. Soon, barely any light could be detected save for the heartbeat-like pulsing of the electrical wire patterns scouring the walls, floor and ceiling. For a scant few moments, the shaking stops and everything is eerily quiet. You can hear your breathing and something that smells distinctively like burning wires reaches your nose. Suddenly, the wall opposite the windows begins to lift, stone-on-stone grinding filling the room as light slowly floods your eyes. A whirring sound, though slight, seems to fill the air. Light pulses through the electrical wire pattern throughout this room. This new room is similar to the room you were trapped in, but much, much larger. The ceiling is thirty feet high in this rectangular room, and a singular black door, eight feet tall, stands at the far end. [THE FIRST TASK] As you set foot in the room, the lights suddenly go out! Everything is quiet save for the electrical humming of the walls. When the lights come on and you can see again, pulsing patterns can be observed in the electrical wire patterns on the walls and floor. The lights going out happens at quick, but odd intervals. Anyone who moves when the lights are on… ZZZAP!You’re playing the worst game of Red Light/Green Light ever.Welcome to your first task. [The Rules]Roll one (1) d10 for each post and follow these prompts: Roll 1-3: You moved when the lights came on! Take 2HP damage. Roll 4-7: It was a close call but you're standing shock-still, hoping not to get zapped. You seem safe. Roll 8-10: You're really good at this (or really terrified, it's hard to say)! You've made it further than you expected!
[Special Rules!] Super Sailor Ananke finds herself able to generate more portals than usual, and instead of absorbing the laser, she can transport someone closer to the door. She can only transport someone when rolling 8-10, and can only transport one passenger per roll. Passengers add +3 to their roll! Any senshi of any alignment whose magic obscures (creates fog, turns someone invisible, leaves a coating of any kind, etc) can use this magic to block some of the lasers, making it easier for people to move! They can opt not to roll for one round and cast their magic. Everyone else in the team ADDS +2 to their roll for that round. These effects don't stack (so three people can't cast their magic at the same time to add +6 to everyone). You'll have to decide who is casting for that round. You can only cast your obstruction magic one time in this room! Kitty beams can blind the lasers just like senshi magic, but you can only obscure them for the bonus one time. You can roll once every half hour!
[Your goal is to reach a total of 60 for the group to escape into the next room.][The next step of the climb will begin in roughly 24 hours!]

How the General had come to the monument in the city was a mystery. He'd been sleeping when something had woken him up and than somehow he was here, he didn't remember a single moment of walking here or powering up even.
What he did know was there were starseeds out and around the monument, like some sort of sacrifice to a higher being, but before he could do or say anything the thing, because he really didn't know what to call the obelisk, was glowing and the air was filled with a smell that he didn't find pleasing.
That was all he remembered before his eyes were opening, when had they closed? And he was sitting up on the floor and glancing about. Others were here, though where they were he wasn't sure. It took some time before he managed to puzzle things out, they were inside the monument, and when he did he shook his head. "Lovely, getting sucked into something else magical." This city never ceased with magically attacking or kidnapping it's citizens and somehow he wound up a victim in a lot of these instances - lovely.
How was he going to explain this to Aiden? This wasn't the first time he wondered about this, nor would it likely be the last, but he really did wonder how his partner never got suspicious about him vanishing for periods of time or coming home with various injuries. He knew he'd wonder about anyone he was dating who had the same, or similar, issues. The general just figured he was lucky - really lucky.
"Does anyone have a clue on what we can and can't do while in here? Has anyone tried anything?" He asked as he stood slowly.

DM Sailor Abstracta
In situations like this Abstracta wondered if she shouldn't try to find someone else like her. There seemed to be more senshi in the room than anything else, most of the auras so bright that she couldn't help but feel drastically out of place. It put her on edge way more than the music had and she was starting to regret not letting Seb or Bea know where she was or what had happened.
"This isn't the end of your story. Your story's just started." The young dark mirror senshi muttered beneath her breath, giving herself a brief pep talk that seemed to boost her morale for all of two seconds before the walls began to move. The playing field was changing and she hadn't even figured out what was going on with Stage 1.
Not one to get left behind, Abstracta decided that she would just go first. The Senshi of the Spectre had no intentions of just waiting around for bad things to happen in Room A when Room B had just opened. She....
She stopped dead in her tracks the moment the lights went out, blinking away the darkness when they came on again. On, buzzing. Off, safe. On, buzzing. Off, on. Off...
"Green light!" She shouted before skipping forward, timing things just right when the lights came on. She paused just shy of the path of the lasers, holding her breath to wait for the lights to go off again.

Super Sailor Ananke Senshi of Portals - 58/60HP
Ananke looked around at the sudden change in the space. “Eh?” Looking around all of a sudden, the room was flashing. She stumbled as the lights flicked on and received a jolt of electricity running through her. “Ouch!” Blinking she looked around. “W…what in the world.” Ananke pouted as she looked around. “That hurt… did anyone else get shocked when the lights went on?”
