gaia_sakura ~November 1st~gaia_sakura The day is now November 1st! As the Blue-moon Extravaganza draws to a close, the day of the dead begins. The current moon phase is a waning gibbous, and there is still a bit of an autumn breeze in the air.

gaia_sakura ~November 3rd~gaia_sakura The day is now November 3rd. The current moon phase appears to be a Waxing gibbous. With a bit of a warm front, the usual autumn air is slightly warmer than usual.
gaia_sakura ~November 4th~gaia_sakura The day is now November 4th The current moon phase is a full moon. The autumn air is beginning to cool from a relaxing breeze along with a bit of an overcast that covers the sun completely.
The weather was cool and breezy, indicating that Autumn was definitely among them. Finally getting a day off to herself, Momoka had wanted to go the park for some bird watching and just wanted to be outside. The sound of her heels from her brown boots made a clacking sound as she walked along the tiled path into the hibiscus park. Of course, not many were blooming at this time of year because the flowers are a spring and summer type.
A cool breeze brushed through the air, Momoka had to hold down her grey floral skirt because she was stupid enough not to wear any tights underneath. Thus making her legs a little chilly even with a cardigan over her shoulders and arms. The pink haired girl closed her eyes for a moment and listened to the sounds around her. Birds chirped all around, leaves rustled in the wind, and she could hear the feint sounds of the city from over yonder. Opening her eyes again, she peered around the park for any signs of small movement. There were a couple of sparrows ahead of her down the pathway, but those could be found everywhere. Sparrows were cute little birds, but she hoped to find any woodpeckers and nuthatch's. They were very specific birds for the season of autumn. For now though, Momoka chose a wooden bench to sit down at and took out her bird notebook from her brown messenger bag. She looked through her handwritten pages to find any information on the birds that she had recorded from previous times.

Glenvale, a nice little town...well, nice considering it housed the Dead End Hotel. Sorath, for reasons he couldn't understand nor saw as very important, hadn't actually seen much of the area. Something had drawn him to the hotel and the hotel alone, which now simply made the dark-haired male curious over what else he would find outside the building's property. For most part, he wanded in his more 'normal' guise, not knowing enough about the general populace to decide whether or not casually phasing through buildings was unwelcome. Hands stuffed into the pockets of his pants, he looked this way and that, not really mapping out the area in his head but just picturing what when on in each building that he passed by. He had passed by a clothing store, but he had barely settled into his new home, let alone find a way to earn money. The thought circling in his head a bit, the spirit glanced down in his current attire...it was clean, but he had very little else. His eyebrow raised slightly...how long had he owned these clothes? What made him pick these specifically? Were these the ones he died in? The questions had popped into his head from time to time, but they were inconsequential...he didn't know the answer, but there didn't really need to be one either.
As he wandered, Sor let his feet choose where to go, taking turns on a whim and going through various alleyways if his strides decided to head towards them. Eventually, however, his feet found something before his gaze did: the end of the path. It did not end at a wall or a building though, instead he was greeted by open air, grass and various clusters of bushes. He tilted his head slightly, this must have been a park of some sort, the ghost smiled lightly to himself. He liked parks, mostly because that meant people...and people usually meant something interesting to observe. As he wandered, though, he soon discovered that not very many people were in fact present at the moment. He put a hand to his chin, maybe Autumn wasn't a very good season for people-watching outdoors. Mid-thought, Sorath passed by a tree, only to pause and take a small step back around it, turn his gaze to the side. He had been sure he saw a flash of someone and the pink hair of what appeared to be a young woman confirmed it. His smile returned, this trip may not yet have been in vain. She was not facing his way, which meant he had the chance to do what he loved doing upon first meeting someone: catch them off guard. Making sure they were the only two in the area, he carefully started to float as he approached, avoiding any noise-making. He had to be careful of the breeze though, any stronger and he'd just be blown away. When he was finally close enough, he slowly and quietly rested his elbows on the backrest of the bench, interlocking his fingers together and resting his chin on them as he leaned forward slightly to peer over her shoulder. "That's very pretty handwriting." He said, loud enough for her to hear as he waited for a response
As she was turning the pages through her notebook full of birds, a voice from right behind her startled her so badly that Momoka yelped and jumped up from the bench and her book was thrown out of her hands. From being startled so badly, even her horns and tail popped out of her in response. Trying to catch her breath and calm down her now-fast beating heart, she turned to look at the one who had surprised her. "What is your problem?!" When Momoka looked over, she saw a long haired boy who was looking fairly see-through. A spirit? she thought to herself, looking over the boy. She sighed and shook her head, it didn't really matter what he was, it wouldn't change the fact that she was mad at him for scaring her. The pink girl walked over to where the notebook had landed, just a few feet away, and picked it up. She brushed the dirt off of it and held it in her arms and turned to look back at the boy.

The moment the girl started to react, Sorath's eyes and mind focused intently, her small noise of surprise and the jump that accompanied it told him more than just that he had spooked her. Notebooks were rarely of the fictional variety, so whatever information she wanted was important enough that her own focus would have kept her from hearing him even if he approached normally. He didn't know what was exactly amongst the pages however...he didn't really pay attention to the words, the first thing he had noticed was just that they were written nicely. That was, at least, nicely compared to his own scribble-like handwriting. What caught his attention next was what also made him the most curious. As the girl stood up from the bench, a few extra ppendages seemed to sprout from her: a pair of horns and a tail. His eyebrow raised slightly, it appeared he was not in the presence of a Human. He hadn't properly met a non-Human before as far as he could recall, but it didn't seem to bother him either...after all, he technically wasn't an average Human either. The obvious question now was what the girl actually was then. A Demon? Some kind of half-Dragon? Sor had considered asking, but where was the fun in being straight-forward? That aside, the words that left her mouth was enough to indicate that she definitely wasn't happy with him. Leaning back so he was standing normally, he raised his hands about shoulder level in surrender. "Sorry, sorry, I mean no harm." He said, offering an apologetic smile. From the corner of his eye, he saw his hands...or rather saw through them...and blinked. So caught up in the moment, he hadn't stopped being a little ethereal. Normally it was a nearly subconcious shift, but he made sure he appeared completely solid as the girl picked her book back up. Lowering his hands until he could place them behind his back, he nodded to her notebook. "It's not badly damaged, is it? Again, apologies." He said, smile turning a little more sheepish before his gaze lifted a little more to meet her own. "The pretty handwriting, I assume it's yours, yes? What are you writing about?" He asked the natural queue of questions already starting to line up in his head. "My name is Sor, by the way, short for Sorath." He added, bowing his head slightly in greeting.
After picking up her notebook to look at him, she didn't really notice the difference when the boy made his body more solid. She sighed though when he apologized, thankful that he did that at least. Mama always taught her to forgive others for what they've done, that to hold a grudge was toxic. Momoka enjoyed seeing the better side in people anyway and never focused on the bad, so she gave the boy a small smile. "It's alright, thanks for the apology," she said to him and continued to listen. He even apologized twice, which meant that he was truly sorry for his actions, right? After hearing him ask about her notebook, the boy then introduced himself as Sorath, or rather Sor. "Nice to meet you, Sor. I'm Momoka Ryuunosuke," she introduced herself in return, chuckling a little at his traditional bowing of the head, and she nodded a little in return. "And yes, it's my handwriting. It's information about birds. You can say I'm a bit of a bird watcher."

Kuzon was falling in an endless abyss ok I am bored of falling in Portal Limbo Portal Limbo is the area Kuzon hides in whenever he jumps in a portal but he never knows where he is gunna pop out I say we get out now Kuzon snaps his finger a portal opens and appears at a park of somekind seconds later Kuzon just lands flat on his face Kuzon pops his head out of the ground and looks around rubbing the back of his head Man I have to get better at my landings. Now where am I Kuzon looks around not noticing anyone he just scans the area

Sorath couldn't help but blink momentarily as the girl thanked him for his apology...was that something people around here did when others said sorry? He knew there were customs he still needed to get used to, but he was surprised to have not come across this one yet...after all, this wasn't the first time he had to apologise for something. Hearing her introduce herself, he committed the name to memory. Momoka...it was certainly a name he hadn't come across before, plus her last name definitely hinted at a lineage different from his own. It was interesting that she gave her full name as well, whereas he had simply given her his first name. Before the train of thought took over his entire focus, his gaze snapped back to the pink-haired girl as she started answering his question. At the mention of 'bird watching', his eyes almost flashed in somewhat concealed excitement. "Ah! A fellow watcher!" He said happily, though paused before he got ahead of himself. "Well, a different sort of watcher I suppose...my watching subject is less....feathered...most of the time anyway." He explained, lightly rocking back and forth slightly on his feet. "Tell me, if you don't mind me asking that is, what is it about birds do you find interesting to observe?" He asked, his own hobby having already started the moment he had first approached Momoka.
Before they got too far into the discussion, however, a noise from nearby caused Sor's gaze to shift. It sounded remarkably similar to the sound of someone making an unexpected impact with the ground but...usually there was a gasp of surprise or an exclamation of 'woah!' or something along those lines. Tilting his head to the side slightly as his eyes traversed the area he finally found the only other...person?... close enough to have caused the noise. "Hello?" Sor couldn't help but call out, waving a hand over his head to try and catch their attention. "Are you alright?" The ghost's voice drifting over again. As much as he enjoyed making people stumble from time to time, it was never fun when somebody actually got hurt.
Noticing the sudden excitement in the boy's voice, Momoka laughed as he told her that he watched another type of animal. Though he didn't say what type, just that it wasn't feathered. The girl had to think for a moment before answering his question, "Uhm, I don't really know. I suppose it's because they have the ability to go anywhere they would want. Besides the few flightless birds of course." She chuckled at the end of her explanation, since not all birds could fly. There were only a handful of flightless one's though. "Birds are just really interesting creatures to me and they have so many colors," she smiled as she got lost in thought thinking about the birds, she could go on and on about them.
Her thoughts were shaken up by a loud noise that had come from the other side of the concrete pathway. Looking over behind Sor, there was a person lying on the ground. She assumed that they had probably tripped and fell over, but how did the two of them not notice the other person? Momoka would've at least noticed them starting to walk over, but they gave no indication of that. Sor had already called out to the other person lying on the floor, so the pink haired girl stayed silent for the time being.
