April 13th, 2012 For Aaron Howl, being behind the cameras in any fashion was nothing new. Be it the paparazzi with their overly bright powered flashes or the high end cameras used to capture his "good side" while on the set of his show. His status as a hero and an entertainer skyrocketed his fame exponentially to the point where he was signed onto a number of projects as an inspirational figure. Commercial deals, cameo appearances, fundraisers, and then some. One of his more prominent ventures this time around included the shot at a leading role in a hit action movie trilogy. Between his time spent with the Hero Society and his own respective show, one would think that he'd be more likely to decline such a deal given the intensive workload although those who knew him well would be able to vouch for the successful man that he was never one to shy away from opportunity whether it be business or saving innocent lives.
After the event that rocked his reputation to the core, Aaron has been working double time to ensure that it returned to it's stable and rightful place. The ace of all trades sat in his personalized seat on set, watching as another crew tended to making sure everything was in order for the next scene. These multi million dollar stunts weren't cheap. One wrong move and they'd be down more money than the whole thing is worth. Luckily with having supers in the film business, stunts were a little easier depending on their powers. Aaron lifted up from his chair, fixing at his tie that matched his all black spy like suit.
"Ready to go, Aaron? I know you're probably not used to the whole acting thing but I really don't want to be here all day. Let's get it right this time, shall we?" Said his co-star Angela Fey. She reeked of jealous being that her time in the spotlight had long since passed. She wore a typical red dress, used to disguise the prop spy gadgets underneath all while her face was blasted with make-up and it showed. Really hides those pesky age lines. Thought Aaron as he trailed his fingers over where his own age lines would be if he had any. Skin care was important, at least to him. "Oh you've got nothing to worry about. Other than your career spiraling down the toilet. It's not looking good for you these days. I'd be putting my focus on that instead of worrying about if I can act. I'm Aaron Howl. There's nothing I can't do." Aaron draped his best smile over his face as he waltzed his way over to stand directly in line with one of the cameras, Angela following suit just as he had left her in a state of disbelief. Aaron laid eyes on the environment before him. A japanese restaurant with a red aesthetic with a gold trim all over the furniture. All the extras sat in there seats waiting for cues to begin doing what extras do. The director, perched with other cast and crew members sat with a meticulous look as he eyed the stars, the set, and everything surrounding them. For time, it was quiet until the director took a deep breath before saying:
"Action!"

"Action? Put some base in your voice, son. Gotta be more firm when you're directing." a hard voice called out seconds after. The director turned disdain already evident on their features to question whoever dared to tell him how to do his job. That idea quickly faded when faced with the culprit, immediately trembling before the man, who stood beside him ever so casually. He wasn't even looking at him. He was watching the actors. To the director, this guy stood out for a number of reasons. He was a tall, bearded, long haired man with imposing features and a penetrating gaze, he carried himself like he was the owner of the largest, most profitable corporation in the world and had taken the Chicago's Magazine top ten most eligible bachelor's list five years in a row. Okay, maybe that was last one was too specific, but the point was; he was nobody to ******** with. He practically oozed bravado and the director assessed all of this only to quickly decide he didn't care. His temper flared and his cheeks turned an instant red. His nasal passages even expanded as he began to rant.
"I don't know who the hell you think you are coming to my set. Dressed like a common BUM ordering me around. So, how's this for firm, pal, SECURITY!" The words were as loud and firm as you could get. Yet it appeared none of what was said to the other seemed to phase him. He still stood there with a hard face and the director continued shooting daggers up at him. Naturally, a smirk was revealed at the corners of Derek's mouth and widened into a full on smile.
"There ya go," he nodded mockingly. "Yeah. That's how a Director you should sound. Not like some b***h who isn't sure of himself. As far as calling security goes, don't bother. They're already out back napping and I suggest you run along before you are too. I'm here on family business. You can resume shooting tomorrow." he could tell his words weren't easy to take in as the director glanced around for the bodyguards in question. He was livid, but terrified. After a five second pause or so, he decided to heed the warning by backing away slowly then speed walking away. Derek walked over to the director's chair admiring it. Saying aloud, "You know I always thought I could be in the movie business. Little script here, little lines here, little directing here." He paused to take a seat in the high chair adjusting until he was properly comfortable and looked at the camera men who were just as confused as the rest of the cast. All eyes appeared to be on him.
"Well? Back to work everyone. Ain't you ever been taught it's rude to stare?" of course they were staring though. Their movie was just high jacked by some random guy. "Oh right. Should probably introduce myself. Names Derek. Derek Howl. Aloha cuz'." Minutes rolled by and running back with more security was the director pointing in the direction of Derek. "Hey A. Mind handling that for me? Poor guy must've took what I said personally. I was only joking."

As his character was instructed to do, Aaron held the menu in front of him, sitting across from Angela whom was told to keep a smile on her face until there was a direct shift in the scene, one she would be able to point out from a mile away. The extras were told to pick up the chatter a bit, but not loud enough to overshadow the stars as they began to read their lines. "You know, I gotta hand it to the Doc, he picked one hell of a place to hide. Wonder how much I have to order before one of these workers decides to tell me-," Commotion and even louder noise interrupted Aaron's train of thought, forcing him to tilt his head to the left to spot a burly and rough individual seemingly harassing the director and the security that would follow, only to remove the director from his place on the sidelines and position himself there at the seat. As if this guy didn't have a clue who the leading actor of the movie was. There was no cut nor call to stop the scene but everyone was well aware now that this man was trespassing. Probably safer that they cleared the area for the time being.
"So they just let anyone by security these days? What kind of shabby studio is this?"
"I don't think they let him." Replied Aaron as he pulled himself away from the table. The longer Aaron looked at him, the more recognizable he became. Something about him was off. His demeanor, the way he carried himself, and just like a cherry on top, his surname. "You've got to be shitting me. Hey, Angela. Take five. I'll take care of this." Aaron was annoyed and that was putting it mildly. To think no one told him that family would just be popping up on his doorstep, or worse, while he was working. "Joking? Yeah, no. You're not supposed to be here." Sidestepping Derek, Aaron put his hands in front of him as the director came back with more security with the intent of throwing Derek on his a**. Given his abrupt entrance, Aaron wouldn't necessarily mind but a Howl was never back in town without reason. If they ever splintered off from the herd it was usually to get away and stay away for the rest of their days. Most of the public knew of his immediate family, that being his mother and father who he had living comfortably alongside their own wealth and fortune. The press didn't need to hear about his relations to the man, especially when he's brought his reputation up back to where it once was. He's come this far not to have it thrown away.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, buddy. I got this, okay? I'll handle this, get this guy to leave and we can knock this scene out the park. How about it? No need to involve your friends here. Although no offense, I'm kind of way up here and you all are a little..." Aaron trailed off as he compared the lot of them to himself and Derek. "Hey, D. Let's take a walk." Aaron said, emphasizing his first initial as he did his own before jabbing his thumb off toward the door. He expected him to be close by giving that he had no reason to stay behind and as he pushed through the doors at the other end of the building, he turned on his heel waiting for the man to show, unsure of what he was even going to say. What did he want?

Derek's arms went up and wide when his cousin marched toward him as a fake pout quickly parted his lips when he was told he shouldn't be there. While Aaron handled the uptight director and company, Derek chilled in the chair. All eyes were on him still which was expected. The co-star was definitely hot at him. He could tell by her intense glare which he would counter with a wink then rose up, walking over to Aaron's side, catching his last bit of words. He followed him without protest and once they were outside was met with A's annoyed face. "Come on uce don't be like that. You know how we get down. I just thought it'd be funny to ruffle ya boys' feathers a bit. How would I know he would go and squeal?" Derek laughed. He then spread his arms again gesturing for another attempt at a hug. "I traveled this far and can't even get a hug from my own flesh and blood?" He stood there with his arms raised before eventually dropping them.
"Talk about cold, uce. Listen I'm going to be in town for a while on "business" and was thinking how cool it would be if you could set me up with a place. A nice recommendation goes along way when your cousin is a big time star." he had no shame in using his cousin's fame to get ahead. Of course this wasn't completely serious. He wanted to see how far and how much he could squeeze out of Aaron. Either way he had big plans here and planned on staying so long as the Samoan Superman (Tank; see Derek bio.) stayed back home and didn't come here.

The irritation on his face was plain as day and he wasn't nor would he try to hide it. The publicity on his new movie was at an all time high but that didn't warrant anyone coming onto the set to mess things up. That applied to family as well, not like he got the memo or anything. Why come all the way from Hawaii just for an unwarranted visit. It was random, unorthodox, and inconvenient as all hell. His face was flushed with red as if he were about to deliver the loudest outburst of his life. What his dear cousin did not know was that steering his reputation in the public eye was very important to him. Being a hero didn't pay the bills, well, ever in his experience. His career as a TV Host, part time actor, and much, much more went a long in solidifying his place here in Chicago. Derek wasn't doing him any favors by being here. "How about you don't ruffle a damn thing and you can forget the hug." His approach to Derek's sudden appearance came off as a little hostile as he soon came to figure out after the words left his mouth.
"You need a place to stay? Sure. Done, but why don't we talk over some arrangements first. Some things you have to do for me if I'm supposed t help you. I know a nice seafood place. Best Lobster Frittata money can buy."
