Abie was reclining without a care in the world when he saw it. Off in the distance...what was that bouncing? He sat up to peer at it and blinked. It was a light?!? He shifted to sit forward a bit, head tilting to one side before he spotted the small body it was attached to. Aha! It was a beast! His eyes glittered. Something like that was perfect for his Incanthis, or for distracting tiny whelps when they wanted to pitch a fit. He scrambled up as he watched the bouncing light start dancing away.
"Oh, no you don't." he grumbled before he started off after it. As silently as he could given that he dealt with a few whelps who needed a good scare every so often. As he walked quietly along, he watched as more bouncing lights came to join the first. Oh wow, it was pretty in its own natural way. The male hummed for a moment before he stilled to wait...
It only took him a few minutes before he sprung into action. It took only seconds for the bouncing lights to scatter as Abie met the hard ground. "Ow!" that was going to leave a bruise for sure. With a groan he sat up to look around, okay...this was something to never be mentioned again. He sighed as he stood up to brush himself off. Not seeing any of the bouncing lights he crossed his arms. Great. Oh well, he could try again later. Maybe...
