Name of Job: The "All-Seeing Eyes" of the Gods Rank: 100 Year Job Participants: Minimum of one, maximum of five. Description: There's tale of an ancient, powerful artifact hidden away from the world. An artifact which is said to have once been used by even the gods themselves. Of course, such word has attracted many different treasure hunters from over the world, but those that have taken the mission have never returned. Only few have, and that is only because they were unable to find the ruins. The fates of those that never came back is unknown, though many have come to believe that they have all died. There's a town which provides a solid lead on the location of the ruins, but all who have wandered there have found nothing, so many consider this mission a joke. But even so, the strangely named employer keeps it posted up. The ruins have been named The Ruins of Breathnóirí by the searchers who were unable to find it. But is this quest nothing more than a joke, or is there something to it that no one has noticed? Only by taking this mission will you either be the one to find the truth, or you'll end up dead or lost. Employer: Riga El Menuhyut (that's the name listed, but who knows who that is...) Guild: Any Reward: ~ A new Magic, although only for one member of the participating party. ~ Fifty million (50,000,000) Jewel, to be split up among each participant.
[[NOTE: This mission was created for Verzweiflung Melankoli, as a sort of legitimate way to switch out one of his Magics for a new one. If you wish to join in this mission, send me a PM, and I'll let whichever character you choose come along. They'll all be meeting up at a currently unnamed station, having been sent a letter of invitation by Verzweiflung himself for whatever reason.]]

Well, this was the place he had designated for everyone that decided to come with him to meet up at. The only reason he had decided to choose this area was because it was out of the way of the public, and it was easy for anyone to be able to reach. Of course, it was also the only station that led to the town he needed to head towards in order to find someone to point him in the direction of the ruins for this job. He sighed as he looked over the horizon to see where the sun was at. It should've been around the time that he had asked for them all to meet up here. Eh, who knew, maybe they wouldn't be coming along. Or maybe they got sidetracked with something else, or even lost. Or, for all he knew, they would somehow magically join up with him later on in his journey. All that he really knew was that he wanted to get to the bottom of this job. There was no absolute reason as to why, other than the fact that he felt as if it was calling out to him. As if there was some metaphorical pot of gold at the end of the nonexistent rainbow. But, all he could do was wait and see what would happen.
"Oh, the ancient words of fading colors, they still turn the cogs of passing time."
XXX"Hey Zweiiiiiii~" A familiar slurred voice echoed within the area, followed by the pitter-patter of tiny feet hitting against ground. Takeda came in, accompanied by a knapsack of supplies (cans of tuna but no can opener, and picture of women in bikinis). "I'm ready to head out when you are, let's go!" Takeda practically invited himself to this mission. Little did Zwei know, Takeda was here to find some mountain babes; Kawa told him that there were magical women in the mountain that could produce strawberry milk and eat a whole banana in one bite. Of course Takeda would believe that...

Cᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ:"Takeda and the carriage driver." Wʜᴇʀᴇᴀʙᴏᴜᴛs: In a carriage near a station in the middle of seemingly nowhere. Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs:"What's wrong with that man..." Eᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Sᴛᴀᴛᴇ: Calm, curious, nervous, cautious
"Drawing the night, seizing the sun, with those arrows of flame that pierce through everything."
Ah yes, the first voice to grace Verzweiflung's ears were that of everyone's favorite Exceed in Fiore. And yes, that was indeed sarcasm, in case you were unable to tell. The male was pretty sure that the furry red rat had nabbed someone's letter, or had probably been sent this way so that the ones he sent the letter to would be bother by him (Takeda). Ah, well, he would've taken any sort of help he could get on this mission. Maybe Takeda would serve as some good monster bait, or even a great distraction in case things got hairy. Of course, the male kept these comments to himself, as to not scare the Exceed off. "Ah, yes. Hello there Takeda, good to see you again." the male, mustering as much friendliness as he could. Although he didn't get far as a carriage soon made its way towards the station. How odd, he had thought this to be a train station... perhaps he was mistaken? As he was about the speak, the driver of the carriage regarded him, and Takeda, with empty looking eyes. And he literally meant empty. It was as if the man's eyes had rolled in the back of his head, revealing only a white ball. As if his eyeballs were replaced with ping pong balls.
"You're the one who accepted the request posted by Riga El Menuhyut, correct?" the man had asked, but it seemed more like a statement rather than it was a question. His voice was also rather monotone, as if someone had voided him of all emotion. Although at this point, Verzweiflung started to feel slightly uncomfortable, he nodded, holding up the paper. "Yes, I am. Me and my party did, I mean. Although not everyone is... here yet." the male muttered quietly as the carriage driver looked over the paper. He then turned his eyes back to Verzweiflung, jerking his head slightly backwards, as if telling Verzweiflung and Takeda to get in. "No worries. I'll get you where you need to get to, then come back and wait for them. Now hop in, so we can begin." the male said, turning his eyes back to the road. "... Oh boy. Vehicular transportation. Good thing I prepared for this..." the male muttered to himself, pulling a bottle of strange looking pills out of his pocket and popping one in his mouth, swallowing. It was something a... friend of his made for him, to help ease his motion sickness. Though he usually used it on long rides only, he had no idea how long this one would be. "Well, let's get going." Verzweiflung said to Takeda before hopping into the carriage.
"Oh, the ancient words of fading colors, they still turn the cogs of passing time."
XXX"Wait, can I NOT go on this mission?" Takeda asked, looking directly at the carriage driver's eyes in awe and horror; the guy looked like he had taken one too many shots. Reluctantly, the red cat stepped in the carriage, inching himself to one of the corners, "Don't throw up on me, PLEASE!" Takeda begged the dragon slayer as he too stepped in the carriage, dreading what it to come. "So... About those mountain babes..."

「✿」LOCATION ⇁ Carriagexxx「✿」COMPANY ⇁ Verz, Takeda, driverxxx「✿」EMOTIONS ⇁ --xxx「✿」THOUGHTS ⇁ This is a..odd trio. Evie had been out searching the area, she had been requested to some odd job through accepting it from the usual board, though it was a rather weird request. Still, she had to figure out just what exactly it was, and where the path ahead of her lead to. It didn't take her long, before she walked far enough that some weird carriage had revealed itself in her sights. Taking off towards it, she would spot two guys and a weird looking cat. Sure enough that alone was a weird enough trio, it had to have been what she was searching for. Stepping closer to make herself known, she would speak out to be heard. "Excuse me, are you the ones out on a job? I found a job to do, and it lead me to here." Evie would say rather casually, gradually rushing to catch up and hop on board so she wouldn't be left in the dust. Now that she got a closer look, the driver was rather..not looking so good. He looked like he came right out of a zombie film, a creepy one at that. Ignoring that whole thought because literally it'd be rude to just be like hey you look creepy as hell, that's an insult if she ever heard one in her book. She found the feline truly adorable, if she could just pinch his little cheeks, she so would without even stopping to think! Evie would wait for the response from both, to be fair she wasn't even positive this was the right job, but it is the location the job letter said! It'd be realllyyy awkward if it wasn't though, than she'd just be asking weird questions to strangers whom had zero idea what it was she was asking!

Cᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ:"Takeda, the creepy carriage driver, and a new person." Wʜᴇʀᴇᴀʙᴏᴜᴛs: On a carriage headed towards who knows where. Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs:"Have I met her before? I can't remember..." Eᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Sᴛᴀᴛᴇ: Calm, curious, thoughtful, cautious
"Drawing the night, seizing the sun, with those arrows of flame that pierce through everything."
So it seemed that already Takeda was having his doubts about wanting to go on this job. And all that he had seen so far was the odd and seemingly lifeless carriage driver. Verzweiflung chuckled quietly as the carriage suddenly lurched forward, signaling its movement. When he heard the cat ask for the Dragon Slayer not to throw up on him, Verzweiflung just shrugged his shoulders. "You don't need to worry about. I have some pills a friend gave to me to help with my motion sickness. Though I only take one if it's going to be a long journey, considering how incredibly difficult they are to make." the male replied, taking the pill bottle back out and showing it to Takeda. Though he slipped the bottle back into his pocket quickly, not trusting the feline to not try and take any. A slight eyebrow was raised when Takeda mentioned something about "mountain babes", which caused a sudden thought to ring in the male's mind. This little red idiot had been tricked into coming along, because he received some sort of false information. But Verzweiflung didn't want to say anything about it, for fear Takeda would leave, and he would be forced to do this whole job by himself.
"Let's talk about them later. When we reach a town or something." the male replied, being rather reluctant to discuss anything within the vicinity of the carriage driver. For all he knew, the man was a spy of sorts, waiting to get information out of them. So for now, Verzweiflung decided to get comfortable within the rather elegant carriage. It seemed like something royalty would ride in... well, on the inside, at least. The outside of it seemed rather ragged and dirty, causing a great clash of view. Although he was drawn from his relaxation when he heard another voice. Someone was speaking from outside the carriage about the job, only hopping onboard after finishing their speaking. "Well, yeah, we're out on a job. Though I'm unsure if it could be the same. Though if it led you here, then it must be the right place." the male replied, nodding his head slightly. He took a look at the girl, feeling like he had seen her somewhere before. But, he couldn't quite place it, so he decided just to push it to the back of his mind for now. "But anyway, my name is Verzweiflung Melankoli. And this... cat here, is Takeda. Pleased to make your acquaintance." the male said, smiling and holding a hand out to her to shake.
"Oh, the ancient words of fading colors, they still turn the cogs of passing time."
"Even though the promises they want to express for eternity would never be granted."

XXXA wave of relief washed over Takeda after hearing Zwei's disclaimer about his pills; thank goodness, Takeda has been the target of too many dragon barfs. Takeda quickly examined the bottle, which made him reassured enough to sit properly in his seat without needing to inch any closer to a possible escape route. Some time had passed before Takeda talked about the 'mountain babes,' in which Zwei politely dismissed the topic for now. The exceed, understanding that such a topic required their undivided attention, decided to change the conversation to something more pro- oho, who brought over the hottie red head?! "HELLOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!" The exceed howled, sticking his head out the window to he could get a better look at his future wife. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?! ME-OW!!!" At least for a few minutes, Takeda was tolerable, hopefully the poor girl didn't get too grossed out by Takeda's cat-calling, but could you blame her???
「✿」LOCATION ⇁ Carriagexxx「✿」COMPANY ⇁ Verz, Takeda, & driverxxx「✿」EMOTIONS ⇁ Awk, uncomfortablexxx「✿」THOUGHTS ⇁ Go faster driver! Evie's attention suddenly jolted to the feline, he was shouting beautiful and if she could put a description on his chosen words, it'd be a weirdo pervert. She wasn't even sure how to react to this, nothing had prepared her to reply to perverts especially coming from an exceed, that came off as completely unexpected. "Uhh hheheh, hi?" She'd say with an awkward smile, realizing this may or may not have been the job she was requested on, as uncertainty from the man spoke. However, he was right about one thing; this had to have been the destination as she somehow stumbled across the trio. "I guess that makes sense." Evie would say with an awkward smile, accepting his hand shake and greeting the man. "It's very nice to meet you as well, Verz! It is also very nice to meet you too Takeda." The guard would smile at the two, though the feline asked some pick up line anyone might have heard a thousand times before. This ride might be longer than she'd figured, was this kitty legit hitting on her? Sighing, she knew she had to get through somehow, he was a total cutie and all, but this was just really an uncomfortable feeling to be hit on by an animal. "Nah, I dug my way up from hell." If she was going to be entertained by a perverted cat the whole ride, she figured may as well have some fun with it! Verz was lucky the kitty wasn't a girl and hitting on him instead! Of course this ride would be easier for him seeing as that, but as well a job is a job! She had one thing on her mind, clearing this job and moving on. She's handled worst things before than perverts, so this shouldn't prove to be any difficult obstacle. And besides, it sure felt nice to tease the kitty."H-how long do you think this ride will be?" Evie would ask either of the two, though there was no real reason, just curious! Nothing that was making her uncomfortable, nope nothing like that!

Well, things had been quiet for long enough. That is, until Takeda decided to revert to his usual self and try his best at flirting with their newest member. He sighed and rubbed his head, looking out the window of the carriage on his side. He really wished that the cat had some better pickup lines, or just not use any of them at all. But hey, cats would be cats... or, Takeda would be Takeda, in this case. But he decided to see no other reason to dwell on the matter. The girl had shook his hand, stating that it was nice to meet him and, with what seemed to be a hint of awkwardness in her voice, stated it was also nice to meet Takeda. Well, that was something that didn't truly happen every day. He just shook his head at her reply to Takeda's pickup line, before looking out the window again. "Feel free to hit him with Magic, or throw him out the window. I won't say anything." the male said, hiding the hint of a smile on his face. When she had asked how long this ride might be, the male's eyes narrowed as he continued looking outside. To be honest, he had no idea how long this ride would be. He didn't even really know where they were going. He just knew the carriage driver would lead them where they needed to be, odd as that sounded. "I'm... not too sure, quite honestly. We seem to be in an area I've never traveled to before. It has a... rather foreign feeling." the male replied, shifting rather uncomfortably. He wasn't used to being in an area he wasn't used to. It was only then that a light went off above his head. "Oh yeah. So do you have a name, or are you just to remain a mystery the whole time?" the male asked, still keeping his gaze outside.

"Oh, the ancient words of fading colors, they still turn the cogs of passing time."
XXXTakeda wiggled his brows and crawled back into his seat following Evie's clever comeback to his flirting, feisty, he liked a challenge! After Zwei gave Evie his blessing to inflict harm upon the red feline, Takeda snickered and reclined in his seat blissfully, "That's fine with me, I live for a challenge!" He proclaimed, purring after his words of confidence. Aside from Takeda's raging hormones, he couldn't help but wonder how long this trip was going to take; hopefully his mountain babes will be waiting for him with cans of tuna and beer. Takeda snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Evie with curiosity and intrigue, "Yes my dear hell angel, what's your name?" He said with a wink.

I can totally handle a long ride with a pervy cat, I believe in myself! Evie laughed a bit at Verz's comment about throwing the cat out the window and him not saying anything, that would be pretty hilarious and all to do and who knows maybe the cat would cease to hit on her, and than again that would go against all of her beliefs. "That very tempting, but I probably shouldn't." She would say, peering over towards the cat who apparently loves challenges, and that made her wonder how nice it would be to throw him from a moving transportation in this exact moment. It would be nice to have a wild side, but that was a different lifestyle. Verz would answer the question of how long this ride could be, but his answer wasn't exactly a very hopeful one. He seemed to be very uncertain, and may not even be aware what it is the destination will even look like. If the ride was long enough, Evie very well may find herself chucking the cat out the window, but that would be distinctively rude, even if he would deserve it. "So were just heading into god knows where, with some whacko driver, no offense." She'd sweat drop waving off her inappropriate comment, just saying the destination with an obvious choice in wording. Sounded like another fun day in paradise. "Well, on the plus side at least we can all sight see, view something new for a change." She would admit, pointing out the area may be unknown but it's nice to just see something unfamiliar for a change, see newer sights, view things differently.
Evie had began to zone off with staring outside, getting a good glimpse and feel of the area when Verz pointed out something she had forgotten in the moment, Takedo following through with the question in a more pouncing kind of way. "Oh right, my apologies! My name is Evie Fiore." She would answer there questions with a smile, her gaze going from Verz down to Takeda, hoping for it not to become an awkward thing. She'd turn away for a moment, staring outside into what could very well be called the vast unknown booneys. She'd breathe, taking in that new scent from the unknown of the strange area.

Geez, Takeda was beginning to become so over the top, that even Verzweiflung couldn't help but want to throw him out the window of the carriage. He quietly listened to the girl talk, as he continued to look out the window. The scenery seemed to change rapidly, slowly beginning to look like Veneficium. Man, he really hoped that they weren't going there. But the way that the area looked, the feeling of magic corruption... it had to be. "Oh man, oh no..." the male muttered quietly to himself, his whole body seeming to tense. His stomach began to knot up, as if he was getting motion sickness, even though he took the pill. It had been many, many years since he had set foot back in Veneficium, but he still had the feeling of paranoia that someone would find him. Or that his father would sense his presence once more, and come to pay a visit. "I think I know exactly where we're going now... somehow we've traveled the seas in an incredibly short amount of time... or maybe we even traveled through a portal without realizing. But... we're no longer in Fiore..." the male said, loud enough for the other two to hear him, and hear the slight panic in his voice.
"We've reached your destination. Tropicus Village, located on the island of Ormeadow. Now please make sure to be safe when stepping off the carriage, I won't be held responsible for any injury." the driver spoke once more, in his monotonous voice. Verzweiflung stayed sitting for a few minutes longer, long enough to hear the girl introduce herself. "Evie Fiore? Fiore as in the royalty? Interesting..." he said, getting up while clutching his stomach and stepping off the carriage. The brightness in the area seemed to be a bit above what it was normally like in Fiore. The trees also seemed to be rather different from the norm, the leaves seeming to be all the colors of the rainbow instead of a singular color. Yep, this was Ormeadow alright, and they were in Veneficium. Although he hadn't heard of Tropicus Village before. Maybe it was a new place that appeared while he was gone? "Well, looks like I was right... this suddenly became a... fun trip." the male said, his face having become a rather sickly pale.

◖█RACE:: EXCEED ◖█MAGICS:: FIRE, AERA
XXXTakeda did not want to admit that he was silently freaking out; his outer appearance made it look like he was being as absent-minded as possible, but he was more aware than met the eye. He was in the midst of royalty, a faction that he was not too friendly with; with his present harassment charges against multiple women in the kingdom, Takeda was not prepared to be near a princess! What made matters worse was the spontaneous change in scenery, when did they get here? What is HERE?"Um. . . Where are we, actually?" Takeda asked, slowly resting his head on Evie's arm.
「✿」LOCATION ⇁ Carriagexxx「✿」COMPANY ⇁ Verz, & Takedaxxx「✿」EMOTIONS ⇁ Curious, surprisedxxx「✿」THOUGHTS ⇁ This place is so beautiful..but strangely peculiar. Evie would acknowledge Verz speaking up a little worried, or by his tone was how it sounded to her. She'd take a moment to gaze outside, eyes keeping clear focus to not miss a single piece of visual activity. She had been vastly trained to take notice of the smallest detail, no matter how far and memorized everything to a Tee. The location they were heading to surely was an odd one, this peculiar sense hit her that they were no longer inside Fiore. But how can that even be? If this area was one she'd never visited before, she'd really have to keep her guard up and stand tall on her toes. Verzweiflung proved her suspicions to be correct, admitting that Fiore was left behind to another country they were currently in, as he wasn't even sure how in the world it could of happened in the first place. "Don't worry, Verz, it's just the same mission in a different location, it'll be a breeze no doubt." Evie attempted to cheer the man up, since he seemed so nervous with how the expedition was going with the difference in scenery. She wasn't positive what much of this place held or was about, or how the mission was going to go, but it was always wise to carry a barrier around ones self and always be on lookout no matter how simple a task seems to complete. At the end of a simple job, could just as well always be an unexpected surprise. She would peer down as Takeda would rest his head on her arm, he seemed to be rather tense, maybe nervous so she would decide to pet his fuzzy little head soothingly, turning to Verz as he questioned the title behind her name.
"Royal family yes, I'm really just captain of the guards though, nothing special." Evie would shrug off with an inward sigh, glancing outside of the carriage. The leaves were so beautiful, the scenery was breath taking but she knew there were more important matters to be attending to than taking in the scenery. Whatever this place was, Verz seemed to be taking it rather awfully, maybe it was the sickening ride in the carriage, maybe he had been to this place before and held awful memories. Still, she'd like to know what the location was called as well, the country's name anyways as the carriage driver spoke of delivering them to there destination with the name of the place they were currently at. Evie would take the few moments inside to glance around and take in all that she could, waiting for the others to continue outside of the carriage before she would follow in tow. She felt it would be best to keep up from behind, so she can keep careful watch of there backs and warn them if the need ever arise. This way, she could keep an eye on the group, as well as the surroundings. Nothing would get past her, not easily at least.
