Li was sitting on the stage in the main room of the inn, indulging in a hobby that he liked but didn't really see as his main job, that being to sing. There was only a small group gathered, some hunters that had come in to warm up with some stew and beer. It was a small enough group that he felt he could experiment on them. His was a simple song, one about Oracles that served the Goddess of the Mountains, Berchi. He seemed to hold their attention well enough, even getting a compliment from one of them, but he had to wonder if the guy thought him a girl given the wording of the compliment. Not that he really cared, he looked like his mother, and it was something he was proud of. His mother always told him one should take advantage of their good looks and he meant to do just that.

His song came to an end and as it did the two loatoa curled up around his ankles woke up, then went racing off upon hearing the sound of the bell over the door. Li's gazed went to the door and he was quick to stand up, waving to the guest, before he hopped down off of the stage. After landing gracefully on the ground he bowed to the table of hunters, "My thanks for indulging me." He said before rushing forward, his long hair trailing behind him like a flag.

The pair of loatoa reached Uli first, running circles around him, squeaking up a storm. Li reached him next, pouncing his friend, giving him a hug, "Long time no see, Uli! I'm so glad to see you!"

Li withdrew after giving his friend the hug, lifting a hand so that he could brush back a big of his hair, and he said, "Thank you! I figured I might as well try out a bit of singing since it can be fun. I'm not bard but I can at least carry a bit of a tune." He was quite pleased that it seemed that Uli liked his song, ever glad to get compliments, and even more so from those that he cared for like Uli and his other friends.

"Come on, you should sit down, tell me how you've been. Do you want something to eat? Or drink?" He asked of his friend, looking over to his loatoa who were running around with the kitten. He gave a smile and said, "Aww, that's too cute! I'm glad to see them making friends. Normally I have to introduce them since they so like to chase others around." He wondered if it was because they knew the kitty was just as young as they were... and not of a rodent family. He had to lock them up if people brought in things like moracker and poscuta since they just saw them as food. The kitten though, they seemed to see him as a friend. Something he was glad for.

"Come on, you sit at the bar and get to talking! Tell me you're staying for a while." He always loved his visits and meant to claim him for the inn one day... once he was done with his training or took up training with Makani, whichever he decided upon.

Li turned to look at his friend as Uli announced that his day had been 'wretched' which wasn't a good thing. If anything it caused him to give him a worried lok, "Are you going to be alright, Uli?" He didn't much care for the idea that his friend wasn't having a good time. He tilted his head to one side as Uli explained what was going on, that his partner was a 'nightmare'. Giving a humming sound he said, "That must be difficult to have to train with someone like that. Doesn't it make learning difficult?"

So he was going to be sticking with it despite the difficulties until his Uncle headed back to Zena with the difficult partner. After a bit of pacing around he collected a bowl of capramel stew and a glass of purified water for Uli, placing them on the bar in front of him. Once he'd been served he sat down on his stool. Once he'd settled in there he set to lazily swinging his legs, watching Uli, "Is there anything I can do to help? The most I can offer is safe haven in the staff only section of the inn. Once you're through eating if you want to go there I will accompany you. Once my mother gets back inside at least, she's probably out chatting with your parents and buying things from your father at the moment."

"Ahhh, a few days? Wonderful!" He was glad to hear that he was staying for a while since it meant that he'd have someone outside of his family that he could hang out with.

"Well, if it comes down to it if he bothers you too much while you eat then I will ask Gyuri to throw him bodily out of the place, alright?" He gave him a smile, lifting a hand up to ruffle Uli's pretty hair before relaxing back on the stool that he'd come to sit down on. He let his eyes sink half closed for a moment as he glanced over at the one that was hassling Uli, curious as to how and why.

Turning back to Uli he asked, "Does he just not like you? If he's trying to pick on you I will kick him even if it's not something I am very good at." He was far from being a fighter but he'd still do it if it meant helping Uli. He gave a soft laugh and said, "Or I can always sic my girls on him." Not that he wanted to train the loatoa how to bite people but for someone picking on his friend he might make an exception. As he looked down at them the two girls looked up at Li and set to chirping away, not having any idea what he was talking about but they seemed like they were just happy to be acknowledged.

Leaning over he scooped the two up, letting them sit in his lap, "What's new? Well, I have my garden underway. At least the building of it. Still to cold to plant anything but I have a few plants that Lily got for me growing in my room until its warm enough for them to go outside."

"Ahhh, I see. Please tell me that he isn't pulling your hair and running away as a way of showing he likes you." He murmured, glancing toward the guy that was sitting not that far from them, watching them as they chatted, and he gave the young man, giving the Ice Tribesman a little wave, before turning back to Uli once more.

Reaching out a hand he gave the kitten a long look before he said, "He really did grow up pretty, didn't he?" He looked a bit tiny and scrawny last he'd seen him, but then again he was just tiny thing. He'd just needed time to get so pretty it would seem. Reaching out he set to scratching him under the chin, "I hope that my girls become fast friends with you, little one." Of course even as he said that the two were squeaking and trying to get the kitten's attention on them before diving off his lap once more, running around, trying to get the perzi to play with them.

Looking over at Uli he said, "So, are you trying to keep the peace with your would be suitor or would you want to mess with him?"

Li's eyes got wide, "I should go and deal with him myself." He gave a sigh and then added, "I should, but I can't. I'm not exactly the fighting sort, that's what Gyuri is here for. I feel like I should call him and have him throw the brat out on principle. Surely him bullying you is a good enough reason to throw him out, right?" He seemed to be musing over that, as though he wanted to exert the power that he held being the heir to this place. He could ban anyone he wanted he thought to himself in a somewhat tyrannical manner.

"I don't like him." Li said instantly, not liking that the guy was being so mean to Uli, "It's one thing if he was properly wooing you but if he's being a jerk about it... well, that isn't going to fly."

Li glanced over at the the jerk that was messing with Uli, making sure that he was still watching then looked back. Reaching out he hooked a finger under Uli's chin, lifting it so that the two of them were starring at each other, the leaned in to give his friend a kiss. What was a kiss between friends if it meant dealing with a jerk like that one?

Li drew back as he heard the other go stomping off. He turned his gaze to watch him go, grinning as he did so. That was good to see he thought to himself, glad that the guy was no longer in the inn where he was far from welcome. He leaned back in his seat once more before he said, "There we go! Here's to hoping he leaves you be for a while. If he even thinks of messing with you again I will send Gyuri after him next."

Looking over at Uli he said, "You know that you can always learn from my Uncle Makani, at least that way you don't have to worry about that fool picking on you anymore. Not to mention that he can teach you a lot that other people can't since he's a special sort of mage."

Giving a bit of a laugh he said, "Not a problem. I hope that wasn't too horrible for you." Hoping off his seat he stretched out all over, walking over to where the guy had been sitting, picking up the chair. Lifting a hand he motioned to the hunters that were looking their way and said, "It's alright now, just chasing off a pest." He didn't want them to think that they needed to intervene or else things might really get mess he thought to himself, not wanting to start a brawl in the inn when that was the exact opposite of what his mother wanted for the place.

"Good, I don't think that anyone should go around throwing their affections at someone in a violent manner. That is just selfish and uncalled for. If he bothers you again you come right to me, got it? Even if I can't fight in the same manner that Gyuri can I am sure I can still grab him by the hair and drag him to the river to toss him in! Or better yet I can toss him to Branko and let the big beast sit on him." Whatever better warded the jerk off he thought to himself in an idle and somewhat spiteful manner.

Looking over at Uli he said, "Really? Heh, thanks. Can't say that I really go around practicing a lot or anything. Must be that I'm a natural at that sort of skill too. Good to know." Lifting his hand he gave Uli a pat on the head before he asked, "More soup? Or are you through with the bowl? If so I will clear it."
