Three weeks. It had been three long weeks that Kyrian wasn't able to be up to his old self. In that time the bard had actually thought of a few tunes that passed the time and made his new healer friend smile when she heard them. As he stretched out his back the male hummed. He couldn't wait to be with Mano for all hours of the day again. Toriu had glued his bright green hide to Mano's side while Kyrian was unable to be there. While Rukeia refused to leave Kyrian. A new beast that seemed to join his side was a young little Snaptrotter whelp that Kyrian had taken to calling, Coral.

He smiled down to Coral. Scratching the sides of her head and he looked up at the Healer. "Morning!"

She chuckled. "Your mate is waiting..." Kyrian smiled brightly.

Mano was sitting outside of the hut that Kyrian was resting in. He was taking a break from what he'd been doing of late, which was him running back and forth between working on the house he had gotten for them and where Kyrian was staying. He was told that Kyrian might be alright to stay in the house if he rested and Mano kept an eye on him but the Matorian hadn't gone for it. He had much preferred the idea of Kyrian being in the right hands until he was back on his feet completely. He wasn't a healer, he was a fighter, meaning that he wanted to make sure that Kyrian was in the right hands.

Of course that left him feeling a bit lonely and kind of underfoot. The healer was really good about not getting annoyed by Mano's antics. He visited often, asked after Kyrian, brought him things, hovered around, and other wise got int he way. Today he'd gotten himself banished by the healer so that she could give Kyrian a hopefully final check up.

All but kicking his feet he wanted for word from those inside. After what felt like an eternity in his mind he heard the door open. Whirling around while pushing to his feet he asked, "Well? How is he?" He blinked a couple times upon seeing Kyrian standing there before he hurried forward, pouncing him into the warm sand outside the healer's place.

Kyrian let out a series of giggles as he hit the soft sand. Smiling up at Mano as he reached out to stroke the other's hair back. "I'm sorry...did I keep you from making new friends?" he knew that the other had stayed super close to him during his sickness. He pulled himself up a little to kiss his shark gently. "Missed you."

He hummed as he laid back into the sand with a wide smile. "So...what's the plan?"

Mano looked down at the blond that he'd accidently on purpose tackled into the sand and lifted up a bit so that he could gaze down at him. He was looking good, wasn't he? So much better then when he'd first gotten bitten. He really was too delicate and it made it dangerous for him to deal with things like... well, anything dangerous. It was up to Mano to keep him safe! At the question posed to him he shook his head, "I wouldn't go off making friends while you were laid up, Honey. I know I get around but not when someone I love is hurting."

He stuck his tongue out at Kyrian before giving him a few kisses here and there, his fin ears twitching in delight now that he saw how good Kyrian was looking. Giving him a smile he said, "I think we should keep you out in the sun. It will be good for you after being inside so long. After that I will catch and cook you all manner of tasty things!"

After glancing from side to side he glanced down at Kyrian and whispered, "And after all of that I might see about eating you up, my sweet Honey."

Kyrian blushed scarlet when he heard that last sentence. He giggled as he pulled Mano down to snuggle into. "I've been waiting." is all he would say on the matter before he gently pushed the other so they both could stand. Rukeia flew out to land on Coral's back as Kyrian stood up. He chuckled at the whelp as she looked up to him expectantly. He looked then to the healer who hummed.

"Know what...since she seems so attached to you...why don't you two take Coral? It'll be a relief for me to know you got something just as big as your partner there, with teeth, to watch over you." she said with a pointed look. Kyrian nodded shyly. The female chuckled at him before fetching a few things. Placing a basket in Kyrian's arms she explained. "Housewarming gift. Their starter herbs for a kitchen garden. Their useful to build up immune systems...and energy."

That last bit had Kyrian blinking as she winked to walk back inside. He blushed even brighter. Turning to Mano. "So!" he squeaked. "Home?"

Mano found himself turning to glance toward the woman that was offering to let them take in the snaptrotter that had been dubbed as 'Coral' and then looked over at Kyrian. After a moment of thought he slowly nodded and said, "It would be good for him to have something that's more willing to chase off anything dangerous." Chase it off or eat it, Mano was good either way. So long as Kyrian didn't have to worry about other dangerous creatures trying to harm his perfect little self.

Stepping a bit closer he glanced down at the basket they were given, then gave a toothy grin, "Heh, I'm sure my Honey here could use all of those energy herbs for sure and then some in the coming days." He gave the healer a wink then nudged Kyrian in a playful manner.

At the mention of 'home' he gave a nod of his head, "I hope that it's set up sufficiently. I'm not exactly a homemaker but I tried to think of things that would be useful, you know?" The first thing he'd gone after was a good bed, after that he got serious and found things like cooking utensils, pots and pans, food, and anything else that came to mind that he could trade for through his fishing skills.

Kyrian shook his head at his beloved. "Alright you...lets go home. I want to settle in." he smiled up at Mano. Leaning up to kiss the Water male before Toriu and Coral chirped in their own way at them. He chuckled. Then started off, allowing Mano to take them home. He was happy, he was where he should be. Right at Mano's side. Leaning on the fisherman's shoulder he hummed a tune.

"You are my moonbeam,
my guiding moonbeam.
You give me hope,
when all is gone.
You don't know love,
how much I need you.
Please don't take,
my moon away."

It was a tune that had been stuck in his head for a while. He sung it low enough that only Mano could hear him for now. He glanced up to see the others reaction to the words.

Mano turned to look at Kyrian as he started to sing, looking quite mesmerized by the song, to the point that at one point he nearly tripped over his own feet. His Honey really was amazing, wasn't he? Giving a smile he said, "You have a very amazing voice, Honey. Your playing is great too but when you sing...It gives me shivers. In a good way though. Kinda like one of those sirens that you hear about in the stories some sailors tell." He gave a happy sort of sound as he stepped closer to the blond, bumping his hip into that of Kyrian.

As they walked along, toward the edge of the small town, he said, "The house we are staying in now is a nice one, it's got a dock so that we can go swimming and fishing. I was thinking about getting a boat too. We need to make sure that you're taught to swim in a proficient manner since it's important around here. It might be a little harder to learn with all that hair but since I figured it out I bet that you can too." He was chattering happily, excited over everything that was happening at the moment.

The house they went up to was one that was very open, allowing sun light and wind to come through, with only a couple solid walls that kept anyone from the village being able to see straight into their bedroom. Not that Mano would have cared either way but he wanted Kyrian to have privacy if he wanted it. Several steps lead up to the house and he said, "It's lifted in this way so when the tide comes in we don't have to worry about water getting in at all. The dock lifts up too along with the tide! It's really amazing." The way he moved from side to side and then back showed he wanted to show everything to Kyrian at once, which just wasn't working.

Kyrian let out a giggle when he saw Mano stumble. "Silly." he muttered with a warm smile. Mano was certainly a individual worth knowing and sharing his life with. As they neared their home, the bard inhaled softly. He followed his shark to look around it and nodded. "This is certainly a good start for our lives."

He looked to the dock. Seeing where he could cling to the object if necessary during lessons. Or other activities...he blushed lightly at the thought before watching Toriu tear into the house. Coral on his heels, he heard the two start playing. "Hey!!! Coral and Toriu!!! I will put both your bestial behinds in time out if you break anything!!!"

There was a moment of silence, which had both beasts peeking around the corner.

Mano gave a smile as Kyrian set to scolding the beasts that had gone inside before them before he said in a teasing manner, "You know, Honey, I think you're gonna make a great parent someday." The words were meant as a joke... to a degree. If anything he sort of wanted to get an idea of Kyrian's thoughts on the idea.

Not something to do straight away since they needed to settle into their new lives first, but after all, perhaps? Once everything was just right then maybe it would be something to consider. It was something he'd been thinking on but wasn't really sure about when it came to Kyrian. Especially given that Mano knew exactly what he himself was like. He knew he could be flighty and easily distracted, yet at the same time he wanted a family. He found himself wondering if both things were actually possible without trying to drastically changing himself.

Walking into the house backwards, so he could keep an eye on Kyrian, he said, "So, what do you want to do first, Honey? You just got home so I think you should be the one to decide."

Kyrian blinked as he tilted his head following his beloved. Smiling warmly. "I would very much love to raise a few little ones." he knew Mano would make a great parent. Despite his shortcomings as well as Kyrian's own, the bard felt that they could manage raising a few little ones. Who knew, perhaps the children would help them grow more as beings. As they went further into the home, Kyrian walked till he had Mano in their bedroom. He glanced around...

"What I want first..." he pushed Mano till he was able to sit in the others lap. "...why don't you answer that for yourself?"

So he did want little ones? Not only that but it seemed as though he might trust Mano to be the one he raised them with since he didn't say otherwise. It was something that made the Matorian man give a happy sort of smile. It was something that they would do presently, they had to be prepared for that sort of thing, but it was still nice to think about. For the time being though he was happy with how things were. Especially now that Kyrian was feeling better and he could finally see the house that Mano had been working on.

Before he could really say much more one way or the other he found himself being nudged along. It was something he allowed, a curious look on his face, before he stumbled and landed on the bed that was slightly raised off the floor. He sat there a moment before giving a lay, "Well, I'm starting to get some ideas about what you want to do next." Wrapping his arms around Kyrian he pulled him closer, resting his head on his shoulder, and asked, "You're feeling alright now, right? Up to having some fun? Or would you rather just rest like this a while longer?" He didn't want to rush him after what he'd been through after all.

Kyrian giggles as he presses a kiss to the other's forehead. "Yes...I really missed you..." he hummed his little tune before snuggling into the other...

Mano woke up some time later to Coral crawling over him in an unceremonious manner so that he could get to where Kyrian was laying. It would have been easier for the little beast to go around but he doubted that meant all that much in the eyes of the snaptrotter. What she wanted was to get to her friend. Sitting up he set to pushing his hair back into place while watching Kyrian sleep, a bit of a smile popping up on his face, "You really are beautiful, Honey." He murmured, reaching out to sooth back a bit of blond hair.

After a moment of watching him he pushed up to his feet, pulling on the minimal amount of clothing needed to be 'modest' before he set to work getting a fire going. Give the time they should really get some food going. The sun was down, the stars were up, and neither of them had anything in the way of dinner since they had been otherwise occupied. Glancing over at Coral and the other beasts that were hanging out inside he said, "Keep an eye on things while I go get some fish."

He'd set up a spot that would catch fish as the tides came in and keep them in a hand made tide pool when it went out ensuring they'd have fish and other ocean creatures on hand to eat. He'd dip into that pool to get them something for dinner. He wanted to make sure that Kyrian was well fed so that he didn't have to worry about him having a relapse or getting weak. Instead he'd get him everything he might want or need to keep such a thing from happening.

Kyrian was on the edge of waking up when he felt Coral squirm her way onto the bed and in his space. He felt and vaugly heard Mano as the other set about to move away. He cracked open an eye as he watched Mano from his tangle of cloth. Waiting till the fisherman was off to gather food before he too rose to slip into soft pants. Tying his favorite sash [the color of Mano's eyes] around his waist he set about doing his own thing. The slender male pulled the jostling curls of his hair back into a puffy ponytail as he smiled. Things were good for him weren't they?

He hummed a tune as he set about getting a small pot of water over the fire to boil for tea for the two of them. Looking around he thought about things they would have to see about. Washing basin for the dishes, a small stone oven at least for bread and other things. He crossed his arms as he surveyed the area. The house had a large open area that led out to the dock Mano was currently on. He loved it that was for sure. Looking behind him he saw that the area had potential for three more bedrooms...more than enough room for any kids they adopt. He smiled softly. Though, he glanced to the area that Mano called their kitchen. Yep...needed more than a little tender love. He would have to ask Mano for a few things.

He got the tea ready for the two of them. Keeping his humming strong as he thought about storage units and such. He could get Mano to buy a wagon so they could make a trip to a bigger town for such large items. He giggled as Toriu seemed to whine about the lack of pillows since Coral was taking them all.
