After someone ended up triggering the alarms, the group of supers found themselves dodging bullets just trying to make it to the lower floors of the compound. “Whatever this secret weapon of theirs is, we need to blow it up. It could be a bomb that ******** over our powers, or a giant super mutant, or a—,” the doors opened, revealing a room where a single female was encased in a tube, suspended in liquid with a respirator keeping her supplied with oxygen yet also keeping her unconscious. “—a girl?”

It was an empty room surprisingly, no turrets springing up, so whoever was in there must’ve been valuable to the point that scratching the glass wasn’t even fathomable. Her vitals were displayed on the screens, the steady pacing of her heart showing she was perfectly preserved. While there were fifteen other tubes lined up, those were all empty.

Issy lit up her fingertips with sparks of electricity. Her eyes followed along with her teammate's as her gaze peered closer at the encased shape. Surely as the previous had made, there was a conclusion as to a person being inside. A female as the other guessed? Perhaps, most likely. There was hope in trust of course, and as far as Issy knew, a team had to encompass trust before anything. Trust first then everything else will fall into place...naturally. Or so that's how things were made out to be...or seem.

"Yeah..we outta help her somehow. I can try and fry any electrical currents, maybe blast the thing from the inside out? She might get sort of electrocuted if I don't do it thaaat smooth. But it's still a chance to help out. Anyone got any more ideas?" With this said, Issy put her hands together and extended her hands out, palms facing each other. Sparks could be seen forming in lines from finger tip to finger tip as she began to charge up for the event about to unfold in attempts to free the female.

While everyone else seemed relatively unnerved, Margot was nervous in the lab; she had a nightmare once about getting kidnapped and experimented on because of her powers. Honestly, Regina’s comments weren’t making her feel any safer, but Margot would be stupid not to heed her warnings. In fact, given their situation, she contacted their coordinator, Mr. Sherwood, “Hey…you know that potential hideout we were supposed to investigate? We found a girl in tube thingamajig, and we’re kind of wanting to get her out. Is this a bad idea?” He could see in the future, right? Surely he would know if they were ********.

Zach was oddly having fun. Though being able to be bulletproof kinda helped. He didnt mind being loud and taking bullets off his team. He newly found rock armor was quite resilient. When they happened upon a door swinging open Zach expected gunfire. When all he saw was a girl in a tube he was supprised. As they where not under fire Zach temporarily dropped the armor., though it could be back up at a moments notice. "Well we can be prepared to fight them if they prove not to be a victim of it all." Zach said wanting to help the person but not throw caution to the wind.

Roman wasn't a particular fan of being lead by someone else especially since they weren't here in the field with them. Taking it upon himself, he'd scan the containment with his enhanced sight checking even the smallest detail for information of any kind and after not finding any would turn back to his teammates. "What's the use of having him if he never really helps? Whatever, listen I'm helping this girl guys. Remember before when you all got kidnapped? You could've been just as messed up and I didn't give up on you. We may not know her, but we're superheroes and this is what we do now." he motioned forward to the tube and took in a breath hoping his words wouldn't come back to bite him. He closed his eyes and as they reopened they burned a bright fury of red beams prepared to set this poor girl free unless someone chose to stop him.

She heard the voices around her, even in the induced sleep they had put her in, though she couldn't quite comprehend what they were saying. It was more like an intrusion on a dream, though that wasn't really right either, because she wasn't really asleep. C-16's eyes flashed open to liquid rushing out of the tube, the now shattered glass having given way. Red light flashed, beams of destruction, from one boys eyes. The lap was under attack. She was under attack. Unsteady feet hit the bottom of the container. Catalyst had made sure she knew how to do things like stand, walk and run, but they were all things she had never actually done before. If it wasn't for her super strength, she would have been likely to collapse. She was quick to pull the respirator from her mouth, gagging and coughing as she did so. Much like standing, this was the first time she had ever taken a breath. However there wasn't time to get acquainted with the real world. She pushed off from the ground, and flew fist first towards the boy with the laser eyes...or at least that had been the intent, for when she pushed off the ground she had gone flying through the ceiling instead. Cement and rubble rained down. Like everything else, flying turned out to be a little bit different in the real world.

Charlie wasnt as gun-ho about this method of freeing. He had been looking for a release switch but Regina and Roman decided another method. The girl seemed unsteady and was coughing but that was reasonable. He would be the same way if he was stuck in a tube. What did suprise him was when she smashed right into the ceiling causing rubble to fall everywhere. He was out of the line of fire but still shielded his face. Gee was she ok?
